Great and easy system to use

Kommentare: Very positive overall - am enjoying very much using the system compared to the old one

Vorteile:

It's super easy to use, very user friendly system. The UI is a delight - modern and bright and most things are where you would expect them to be. System very rarely glitches and works even on limited wifi/internet connection. Big fan! Mobile app great.

Nachteile:

The logging in is sometimes a bit slow, and the automated emails look a bit naff - but otherwise no complaints!

Makes managing applications and payments so much easier! Reminders ensure nothing is forgotten and all dates/times are tracked. The team are always on hand to help within minutes with any queries.

Kommentare: Overall, there's some archaic methods of entering claims and receipts that damper the user experience. For a modern app and website, the user experience should be more enjoyable and intuitive. It makes me dread having to do expenses.

Vorteile:

I do like that there's a mobile app version and I find it easier to use.

Nachteile:

There are several non-intuitive and frustrating aspects of submitting claims and receipts. For example, when I upload a receipt unattached to a claim, but with all of the information within the receipt fields (like amount, date, etc.), the 'Add to Claim' button is always grayed out and I am unable to add a receipt to the claim without first adding a claim item to the claim, filling out all of the information I already filled out in the receipt, then selecting the receipt to attach to the claim item. I also cannot just add a receipt to a blank claim item and have the receipt information copied over. Instead, I have to fill out all of the required fields of the claim item before I'm allowed to save. Then, after adding the receipt, all of that information is going to be overwritten by the receipt anyways. Also, when adding a receipt, you cannot select from the phone's gallery on your mobile app unless its not within a claim and not on the main menu screen. You have to go to receipts, then add item to have the option to select add from gallery. If I am creating a claim item and want to add a receipt within the claim item menu, I cannot select from files on my phone; the only option is a picture real-time. Its incredibly frustrating and not intuitive.

very simple way of submitting expenses with full transparency over items to claim, approve and the status of those claims

Nachteile:

it can take quite a bit of time to do a claim submission where there are multiple items saved up over a period of time. It definitely works better as a process when you claim as an expense arises, rather than batch processing

Kommentare: Overall, despite the niggles with the integrated map, it is an easy to use platform.

Vorteile:

Summarised expenses claims, everything seems straightforward and easy to use.

Nachteile:

I don't like the map integrated into the mileage claim section. It seems to use an outdated version of (Microsoft/Bing?) rather than Google Maps, and so will sometimes find a really random location rather than the obvious one you have put in, so you have to go back and edit it. Also the passenger mileage claim could be much better because at the moment you basically have to duplicate your claim under a slightly different setting. There ideally should be an option within the original claim to tick to say if you had any passengers, how many you had and how much this adds to the existing claim.

Kommentare: Webexpenses is the easiest expense tracker I have used to date.
It is simple to track the payments made against the receipts submitted, review past submissions easily and quickly, and relevant and quick analytics.

Vorteile:

It is very user-friendly. One of my favorite features is mileage tracking. It is valuable to have access to the start/ end of the journeys logged and to be able to tag them to specific projects. This means the user and the wider team ensure no fraudulent claims are made against the company account. This makes the tracker secure to use straightforwardly. The other relevant feature is to match the claims against the digitalised expense receipts presented for quick and simple reconciliations.

Nachteile:

The mobile responsiveness could be improved. It is not possible to save a journey on the mobile app and sometimes the route shown is not the route taken.

Kommentare: My overall experience with web expenses is a good one. It makes keeping track of travel expenses easy.

Vorteile:

Web expenses is very easy to use and navigate. previous and current claims are easily accessed and dates of last and previous items added are clearly visible. Doesn't take very long to add a new item to the claim and is also easy to access through the mobile app.

Nachteile:

very rarely we will experience web expenses not working. We are sometimes unable to add a new item to the claim when this happens. But it doesn't happen very often.

Kommentare: Really easily functionality. Does a map route for you which you can change if you went another way due to traffic etc.

Vorteile:

As an end user I can either use the web portal or the mobile app. The mobile app is easy to use and uploading photos is very easy. Using the web portal has a few extra features, I can copy an entries and make slight amendments to save time if several are very similar. I like that I can create a report to see how much mileage i claimed for.

Nachteile:

You have to have mobile signal at the time of submitting, it would be good if you have no signal that it saves the entry, then syncs when signal returns.

Foe example, I will always select me as the person who ate the food. There is a lot of items that don't change.
