Vorteile:

Durch eine Art Baukasten-System bietet Cartoon Animator die Möglichkeit, ohne Vorkenntnisse vorzeigbare Animationen zu erstellen. Bewegungsabläufe und Character können einfach "zusammengeklickt" werden. Natürlich kann man auch alles selber erstellen. Das Riggin von Figuren ist nahezu selbsterklärend und zahlreiche Tutorials und Trainings helfen, wenn etwas nicht klappt.

Nachteile:

Man verliert sich recht schnell in den Zusatz-Packs, die einem dann nach und nach das Geld aus der Tasche ziehen ;-)

A 2D Animation Software with an user interface that makes sense

Kommentare: This is an animation software that makes sense. CTA makes sense in everything it does. One will find the tools exactly where they are supposed to be and things work exactly the way one expects them to work. This may sound obvious but after trying out several animation softwares, these look like a very rare situation. Cartoon Animator (previously CrazyTalk Animator) is a software that provides almost everything one needs to create anything from short cartoon ad to full length animation movies, that too with an interface (which translates to the learning curve) that makes sense.

Vorteile:

CrazyTalk Animator (now Cartoon Animator 4) is one of the best 2D animation softwares one can find in the market. What I like the most about CTA is that their makers, Reallusion has managed to create an user interface and workflow that makes sense. Yes, this is a big thing when it comes to animation softwares. Everything is so intuitive to learn and easy to understand. One can start making fully customisable animation within hours . Although CTA comes with a huge library of pre-made characters, animation movements, etc. but what is absolutely awesome is that its so easy to create your own custom content and thus you can make your very own, custom animation movie. Plus, CTA has incorporated some fantastic new features like 3D Head creation, Motion Capture technologies (which is again really easy to learn, Motion Retargeting, Smart Inverse Kinematics, Keyframe animation, Intuitive bone rigging systems, and many more. Plus one can but more contents from Reallusion's Content store and Marketplace.

Nachteile:

Well, CTA (Cartoon Animator) doesn't have features for drawing contents within the software itself. You will need some external drawing programs to create the sprites and figures, only then you can import them to CTA to complete the remaining process of custom content creation. It would be great if Reallusion provides drawing tools right into the software.

It is now my top choice.

Kommentare: I was using another online software to build my animated videos and I found that while the software offered a lot, it still had its limitations with the characters and animations. I really like that I can develop my own characters and animate them to do the things I need them to do. In the other software it was VERY expensive to ask them to build a character for me.

Vorteile:

The fact that you can create your own characters and animate them. There are lots of videos/tutorials available to help you learn how to use it. I like the fact that there is more flexibility with camera angles. I also like that I can see the layers to make sure things are stacked correctly. I like that there is an educational discount for teachers and students. That was really the selling point for me as an educator.

Nachteile:

It is a bit challenging to create multiple scenes within the software. It is not designed for that but it is possible. It does take a lot of time to learn to use the software because you probably have to watch the tutorials several times to really get the hang of it. I wish it came with more prebuilt characters, scenes and props to help a user get started.

Customer service non existent

Vorteile:

High learning curve but lots of features. Customer service is awful and instructional videos are poorly produced.

Nachteile:

Accidentally purchased the wrong software. Followed correct procedures to return. Got email received confirmation. No refund...ever. Buyer beware, if there is a problem they simply won't address it. They don't care about customer service..

The first animation software I use

Kommentare: Back in the days I use to think that animation was so complex that I wouldn't have the chance to venture into it, but with cartoon animator I have seen that thought come to an end. Though I have only done few animation projects which are personal, but I have indeed seen the results of the software

Vorteile:

As a digital artist, I usually design 2D cartoon characters then import them to cartoon animator in order to give them secondary motion. This saves me the stress of drawing frame by frame

Well the software do make animation easy but users need some practice in order to use its features

Kommentare: 2019, Jan 4 i decided to create a youtube channel with scientific animated videos, it was difficult for me as a beginner to use adobe after effects so i started using cartoon animator previously it is called crazy talk animator, so it helped me to understand how animation works and i created more than 40 videos with help of cartoon animator and it worked out really well and i am very happy it helped to start my career and i am really thankful to use it, and i would definitely recommend it if you are new in animation and want to create videos.

Vorteile:

The best advantages of using cartoon animator is , it is very easy to work with like you can create animations with help of predefined animations and packs, and the camera usage is very simple and very effective, the export quality of video is very good, it provides good animation with very little efforts, you can rig a character very easily here and animate it with help of pins.

Nachteile:

The cons of using cartoon animator is the animation quality is good for beginner and good for making basic presentation videos, but for higher level we use adobe also the animation should look more smoother and also when rigging the face it is difficult to do it properly. but its best for beginners and small creators.

A Tough Animator Nut to Crack

Kommentare: Overall, exploring this fully packed app animation creator was worth it and it allows me to provide further options when creating animation projects. I'm very happy I've learned the hardesst parts of this app since they are the hidden gems to producing an amazing output that CTA can provide.

Vorteile:

I love this app because it brings those anime/manga fantasies of mine to life not just in the vector designing aspect but the tv cartoon character that is moving its mouth as it is talking. I am amazed by this as the numerous characters also allows you to customize each voice with your own, from text to speech, the preset script, and from a wav file. In addition, it also provides customizable backgrounds including object elements to spice up the presentation. I also love how transitions are nice to look at as it adds life to each 'slide' as it progresses in the storyline. Furthermore, I have SWF files made already and I like the idea that I can incorporate it as a background image to the talking model I am creating.

Nachteile:

Just as the title I've chosen, this is really challenging to learn even though there are templates to use already. You can't maximize the potential of this app and your creative ideas without learning the nitty gritty stuff that takes a lot of time as the instruction materials online are not sufficient. Synching the voice to mouth movement was a barrier to me until I cracked it by exploring the app further. And although this is only a minor con, it would be great to have other formats such as mp3 and flac as the current version I have only allows wav file for the voices, I could be wrong with the newer releases though.

A cool cartoon animation tool

Kommentare: It is good software, because of the high learning curve it is bit difficult to for someone to make quick videos. Once you make yourself comfortable with the tool, you can create amazing videos using the tool.

Vorteile:

This is a very good animation software at a very reasonable price. You can create your own characters, properties and scenes. The possibilities are endless you can make the characters talking within no time. With some time spending on it to learn you can create amazing videos with this software.

Nachteile:

Very high learning curve and poor tutorials and some options missing in the pro version which makes absolutely no sense. Customer services don't have a live chat which makes it difficult when you try to contact them for a small help you have to wait to days for their reply.

Cannot beat the price!

A good Quality Animator which I would say Professional! You can always add additional fancy characters and styles.

Nachteile:

It was hard at the beginning to learn the software although they have Youtube learning channel, but compared to Crazy Talk 8 it is harder.

Easiest 2D Animation Software

Kommentare: Overall experience is quite good. I can make animated commercial video ads and YouTube videos very fast with this software.

Vorteile:

Reallusion's Cartoon Animator Pro is the easiest and fastest 2D animation creation software. Rigging and animating character's is very easy. Also, the auto lip sync and photo animation features are awesome which is its unique selling point.

Nachteile:

Pre made animations are very less and i need to purchase then as an add-on separately form Reallusion store which is very expensive.

Very adaptable 2D animation tool

Kommentare: For any educational or awareness use, the ability to animate inaminate objects and to give a voice to faces, adds massively to audience focus and attention.

Can create own characters, props, scenes etc.

Steep learning curve, and poor tutorials.

This facial animation software is great for providing your own videos with additional gimmicks. The purchase price is a bit high for private users who only want to create small gimmicks, but the possibilities that one has through this software are awesome .So the figures in the program are quite funny, but with the possibility to insert your own pictures, the possibilities are so varied that you can spend a lot of time with them to breathe life into the pictures. You can if you want, for example bring his pet to talk or sing, which always makes for laughs, or even teach him tenzen. There are no limits to creativity here! But if you do not want to make this effort, you can buy a lot of templates on the homepage and also download free templates from time to time. A little bonus material is already there. Each figure can be edited individually such as the head or just the nose change and thus you can create your own avatar. If you then import, for example his own voice, the figure automatically moves her mouth to it. You can spend days with this software!

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, the price for the functional version limited standard version is already high. The Pro version is for the average consumer who just wants to brighten his home videos a bit, for my feeling clearly too expensive.

Crazy Talk Animator

Kommentare: I’m working on a character that I’m bringing to life and this software has been amazing for me. The more I use the software, the more I learn.

Vorteile:

This software is great for animation plus making videos. The tutorial that comes with the software is well structured so that even a beginner can use it. You don’t have to be an artist because the program comes with a large library of templates which include premade character pieces. I love having the ability to bone rig my characters. I also love being able to record dialogue to my characters. This software is very professional.

Nachteile:

I miss the drawing tools that normally come with animation software. I had to get use to using my camera when trying to do facial expressions. I found that I had to be careful when adding voice to characters because the sensors pick up everything. This software is still faster when adding voice or movement.

The Best 2-D Animation Program Available

Kommentare: One huge benefit I get from using this program is the ability to easily create visualization for social media and presentations for clients.

Vorteile:

The best thing about the software is that you don't have to know anything about traditional animation to be able to use the program. I do not know how to draw, yet I still consider myself an animator. The program overall is easy to learn and to use. I am a marketing professional who uses CTA to create marketing videos for my company. People at my job who do not know the process think it takes a long while to produce the kinds of videos I make. However that could not be further from the truth. The videos I create are simple thanks to the software and fun to make. They add a nice visual to any social media campaign or presentation to clients. In the past, I have even made videos with clients logos in them or made their CEO a character in the video. Most companies love this because they feel the video was tailored towards them. I would highly recommend CTA for business or for personal use.

Nachteile:

I feel there aren't enough characters that come with the program. What I want is the software to give me a vast option of customization (appearance and clothes). CTA does allow you to customize your character, however it is limited in my opinion. I want full ability to customize everything from the facial features to what color shirt the character is wearing.

Thank you for the developers, who are making The software tools always matching my video needs. Creating characters is the main factor for any movie to come on top. Cartoon drawings are literally perfect. I love the facial reactions. Bones help realistic movement to end up in a perfection work.

Nachteile:

As for the features. They are compatible with my video games. I can add any sound or voice I make myself. Animating powers are excellent as they are growing day by day.

CTA and soon to be Cartoon Animator

Kommentare: Overall, I am happy about buying the software and even securing myself a copy of the not-so-soon to be released Cartoon Animator 4. There is a lot of potential for this software and it is just getting started to cut out its own niche in the animation marketplace.

Vorteile:

What I liked most about the software is how they managed to build a solid animation tool that does not break the bank. They recently announced rebranding the software to a more palatable Brand name so I guess from this point forward, a lot of animators will be enticed to try the software. I liked the community and the contents marketplace which is BOOMING!

Nachteile:

The program takes a bit of learning before you can make some serious animation movies. Taking it from using keyframes in video editors such as Hitfilm and node based Da Vinci Resolve, the interface is really overwhelming at the start without watching the tutorial videos.

My first 2d animation software.

Kommentare: As a non-animator persion I have limited option to create video content. Either use readymade layout or use some whiteboard for presentation. But crazy talk changes the way of my presentation. With very little effort I can now give life to my imagination. Love the product.

Vorteile:

Created an animated 2d video within a week, without any prior knowledge of any previous animation. You can buy your own character and import images and make them animated characters. It is really interesting to see still image talking within a few clicks without any pro graphic designers help. It getting constant update which is awesome.

Nachteile:

I have to spend a lot time and experiment with the option to get a perfect shot. Support can improve. For a hobby, it is a bit expensive. Update to new version cost lot.

Fun fairly easy, and great results.

Vorteile:

I have tried several animation suites. CrazyTalk was one of my favorite 2D animation applications. It is fairly easy to use, and doesn't have a huge learning curve. Comes with a lot of "ready to use" templates. Many online resources availale.

Nachteile:

The only con is there are no drawing tools included, so you need to draw design elsewhere, and animate here.

Great for simple animation

This is great software to make simple animation videos. It is really easy to learn. We were able to integrate it into our business by making instructional videos for people to follow.

Nachteile:

There are some limitations with what you can animate but overall I have not had any big issues. It is a great software.

Amazing new features

Vorteile:

New 3D features can help animate character in different angles without having to re-draw any bofy parts. The motion capture feature is very cool.

Nachteile:

Shadow adds a very big difference in animation, and it we would like to animate other type characters than bipeds.

Great as a presentation addon

Kommentare: The benefits to us are that the software allows our presentations to be different from the norm, a little bit more memorable.

Vorteile:

This allows you to create a moving talking character to add to a presentation, you can add a voice-over or if you have the software you can use text to speech. It's been great to add that extra bit of specialness to our presentations.

Nachteile:

It can be difficult to master at first, but after watching tutorials it is a lot easier. It's could be better designed in a way to make it a little bit easier to learn how to make the character move but nothing worth having comes easy.
