The Single Best Tool for Listings

Vorteile:

Set it and Forget it. With Yext, you input your listing and confirm via authenticating factors and in just days you see the direct impact. Organic results improve, SEO improves, Adwords quality improves...you name it! The second best part is ease of use. Once your listing is within YEXT, they work to address over 100 listing entities online, building search equity for your site within Google and other platforms to assure that your listing is in fact REAL, ACCURATE, and RELIABLE.

Nachteile:

Would be nice if there was a master feature for advertisers to be able to list multiple entities under one account login and separate payment methods. This could also increase the number of subscriptions to YEXT!

Great for Agencies who Create and Manage Citations

Kommentare: Overall my experience with Yext has been excellent. It does everything it claims to do and customer service is always quick and helpful.

Vorteile:

What I like most about this software is that it makes updating client information across listings fast and easy. Before Yext, our agency used to spend a lot of time updating hours, uploading photos, etc..now it can be done in a fraction of the time. I also love that Yext allows us to quickly add schema to a website that auto-updates when business information changes.

Nachteile:

I least like that the integrations with Google My Business and Facebook must be set up separately. This sometimes gets overlooked by my staff or if we have trouble gaining access from a client, it will never get done. It would also be nice if social posting could be pushed to more than just Google My Business..for example Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. That could allow us to replace other software with Yext. One thing that would be nice is if Yext salespeople were able to help us better monitize the software as an agency. I've done a few meetings and phonecalls to try to come up with better ways to use and sell the software to clients, but they always turn into the Yext sales person trying to get us to commit more money to Yext. I'd love to get some ideas on how other agency partners are using Yext for their clients and selling the software/service with their service packages.

No SEO benefit

Kommentare: I purchased Yext for local SEO. After two years I determined that Yext did not help rankings in Google for any type of search.

Vorteile:

Yext does update its network of web directories quickly. But, you don't want to use Yext to manage important directories like Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook, Foursquare, and Yelp because these popular websites should be managed directly. Yext can be used to update low-value web directories like YP, 123local, Citysearch, CitySpark, CitySquares, and dozens of other little-known and used directories.

Nachteile:

Yext does not help SEO, specifically ranking in Google. I've tested Yext extensively over 2 separate trials with each trial lasting two years. On tests with lawyers and local home services businesses that I used Yext did not show any noticeable improvement in ranking in Google.

Highly Recommended

Kommentare: I've been using Yext for my clients since 2015. I currently have 37 client locations currently under my management with Yext and all of those clients are very happy with Yext results.

Vorteile:

The robust content management is outstanding. It allows me to help my clients ensure their listings stand out from the run of the mill.,

Nachteile:

Pricing for the Ultimate plan strikes me as excessive. I have my clients on the Professional pan.

We Love Yext

Kommentare: Yext has allowed our local businesses to appear higher in search due to the ability to add so much information to the platform including business hours, descriptions, holiday hours, featured messages, etc. We love the platform because it is easy to use and does not require daily monitoring.

Vorteile:

Yext has made it extremely easy for our franchise owners to update their business information on a single platform. This not only allows the correct information to appear on various sites, it also allows our franchise owners to update their information as needed. It's very simple and efficient.

Nachteile:

The interface, I believe, could be easier on the eyes. However, I do enjoy the system as is.

Never go with Yext

Kommentare: Listings created were taken away once I stopped paying and my subscription termed with them.

Vorteile:

They're pioneers at what they do by bringing local marketing available to business consumers. However, they became an 800-pound gorilla along the way.

Nachteile:

Very money minded - Only focused on sales. - No satisfactory customer support.

Yext made our lives easier

Vorteile:

I liked how easy it was to implement. Our team manages the online listings for over 300 small businesses.

Nachteile:

I wish it worked with more directories.

Supporting our locations

Kommentare: Have really enjoyed working with all the Yext staff. The product fits what we need for listings, reviews and promoting our bank.

Vorteile:

Ease of updating data on a single platform that pushes out to numerous listings in one update.

Nachteile:

We have encountered some bugs in the system that needed to be addressed. This slowed the process of getting some items completed as quickly as we would of liked. The Yext support team has been helpful in resolving the issues.

Yext for Local Listings Management

Kommentare: We are using Yext to manage all of our local listings and are working to make them our system of record. Our websites and apps now use their APIs to access location data, eliminating the need to update changes in multiple places. This has been a huge help for keeping listings accurate.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and learn. We are able to add, update and delete data for all of our local listings very easily. Additionally, the reporting and analytics are great.

Nachteile:

The only negative has been that some of the additional packages are pricey in consideration of what we are already paying. The base listings and analytics packages are worth the money - scaling additional packages sometimes seems expensive.

Just say Yext!

Vorteile:

Yext offers an amazing product for managing your business location listings, review generation and website location page and schema markup!

Nachteile:

Not much not to like... Yext is constantly addressing business needs ahead of the curve.

Daily user

Kommentare: Overall experience has been positive. Not very easy to see an overall effect of the citations and services.

Vorteile:

The tracking of services for locations and the locations themselves are easily trackable. Eliminating and suppressing duplicate citations and incorrect publisher suggestions is absolutely easier than tracking any other way.

Nachteile:

Support can take some time to provide answers. For the most part, this hasn't been a huge issue, but at times it was. This is not intuitive software and takes some time to get familiar with enough for basic use. Another big negative is that if we were ever to stop using Yext, the citations we purchased through Yext will be "unlocked" and basically lost. This seems like poor business in that you pay for an item so you expect to be able to keep that item unless you decide to sell the item.

Best Directory Management Software on The Market

Vorteile:

Being able to manage 60 plus local directories from what one dashboard. I also liked the intelligent search feature as well as knowledge tags. They also create listings for Amazon Alexa, Waze, and Apple Maps.

Nachteile:

Does a great job getting the lion's share of false or duplicate listings but occasionally will miss some listings if there are more than 3 errors in the listing. Updates to Yahoo! & Bing can take a lot longer to populate compared to the rest of the listings in the network

I used Yext for over a year and it was a great tool for getting client store information published.

Vorteile:

Great customer service, great and easy to use software that quickly and effectively gets client information published on the web.

Nachteile:

Is not consistent and you are held hostage to paying the monthly fee. Once you stop paying all the work you have put into making sure all client information is published is gone.

A Strong Product Offering that Puts Our Customers First

Kommentare: Yext allows us to double down on the marketing efforts we provide our customers on a daily basis, it seamlessly and easily allows us to protect, update and promote our customer's desired brands.

Vorteile:

Ease of use within the platform makes for quick and easy customer additions and updates.

Nachteile:

The load/render times of the platform can at times be rather slow, but the impact is minimal.

Great Local SEO SAAS

Vorteile:

This software has a clean UI that let's the user know the status of every listing for every location.

Nachteile:

Yext is priced signifantly higher than other tools in a similar space. However, we are happy with the value for the pricing structure.

Everything in one place!

Kommentare: I love it! They are always there to help and the software is easy to navigate.

Vorteile:

I love that updates and changes are seamless with this software over multiple platforms. Also love the ability to track and monitor reviews all in one place.

Nachteile:

The analytics when sent to clients is in a pdf format unless they are a user. In this format it is hard to read and understand what all these analytics are pulling in each category.

Vorteile:

- In the industry, there are TWO tools that matter and Yext is one of them! - A powerful tool that provides updated information on a business and their local listing, making it easy to manage a company's local listings/reputation. - Saves a WEALTH of time that is only spent on entering hours of operation, address information, etc:. - Ability to add structured data to your website. - Yext has the ability to track any inconsistencies or duplications on the internet regarding a company's NAP.

Nachteile:

- Support may take time. - Social posting is limited to Google - this tool lacks in the social media management department. - Can be expensive for small businesses - but it's worth the investment if you can afford it.

Great For Efficiency

Kommentare: Overall Yext is a good solution for our needs and certainly worth the money.

Vorteile:

The Yext tool allowed us to efficiently provide directory/profile/listing services to our clients, without having to manually submit each individually. It saves us time and provides a better service.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the features marketed don't align with expectations/results.

Perfect Local Citation Management Tool for Franchisee

Kommentare: We've been using Yext for our Enterprise SEO clients. Great local citation management tool.

Vorteile:

The software is great and the Yext team always working on improvements. Support is awesome. You can easily manage the most important information for your listings: store hours/business descriptions and hundreds of other options.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, you can't just simply sign up through the website and start managing your listings while you need to go through the long contract process.

Reputation management made easy

Vorteile:

I went through the Yext Certified Partner training and test, and found them very informative and beneficial. The team took the time to schedule one-on-one calls for training, and quickly responded to any questions I had. The customer service is wonderful and reason enough to use Yext.

Nachteile:

I wish it were more all-inclusive. Or at least have just a few packages. It felt like any time I asked if I could do 'X' or 'Y' the response was to buy an add on product.

Yext for Listings

Kommentare: With Yext your business listing can show up on many. It even causes you to move up on major search engines.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that it gives you access to websites that you may have never heard of for your business listings.

Nachteile:

I do not like the cost for what they offer. And I don't like that the software is so integrated with other sites that they try to force you to use Yext.

Great Support, Fast Turn Around

Kommentare: Overall good experience and it fills the need that we are looking for. Hours update, new store openings and response review all are great products and heavily reduce manual work on our end.

Vorteile:

Always a great experience working with the support staff as well as the account manager. Our requests and questions all get answered in a timely manner and new products and services are being shared with us.

Nachteile:

Same day edits are sometimes slow. If we request an edit sometimes it takes 24-48 hrs to get a response when sometimes we are looking for an immediate response. The account manager sometimes fills the gap. Most questions we have to go through the support email rather than talking with our account manager.
