Simple but powerful

Kommentare: I researched a few other similar products and feel I chose the right one. It had the most features and was extremely flexible to accomplish a variety of tasks.

Vorteile:

I love that I can customize field names to use with other tools and connect with other APIs. It's simple but powerful.

Nachteile:

The building of your form can be tedious, though isn't unique to Cognito Forms when you have a lengthy form you need to create.

Cognito Forms - the best platform I've found

Kommentare: I have nothing but good things to say about Cognito Forms. I researched a lot of different platforms when trying to determine which would provide all the features needed. Cognito Forms meets all our needs and then some. I am constantly learning about new things the system will do. Their support team are quick to respond, providing specific instruction with links if applicable, and continue to follow up until you have all the information you need.

Vorteile:

Cognito Forms is a well rounded platform that allows you the flexibility, customization and conditional logic necessary to create forms that will do just about anything you could ever need or imagine. Workflow enables you to automate specific functions. Roles enable you to dictate what fields are visible, required or hidden to specific people. I researched a lot of different platforms before deciding on Cognito Forms. It has truly made our process much more efficient.

Nachteile:

There are some small features that I would like to see added - undo, copy/paste from other forms, spell check, etc that would just further enhance the platform. These are the only cons I've come across so far.

Kommentare: It was horrible. I had an issue with their login, so I could fix an issue, but no one could help me. I was losing money by the minute.

🔴 I strongly advise against using this company. If your business relies on functional forms, it's crucial to have real-time customer service to address any issues that may arise. It's unacceptable for a company to operate without this support. In today's competitive business environment, companies with good customer service thrive, and I hope businesses like this one realize the importance of providing real-time support before they become obsolete like Blockbuster.

Cognito Forms -- Head and Shoulders Above the Others

Kommentare: Very positive. It helps us to automate so many tasks. Also, I know that I can count on questions being answered by the support team within an hour or two, whenever I get truly stuck on something.

Vorteile:

The range of tasks that it can accomplish is comprehensive. Before I found Cognito Forms, I performed an exhaustive search to find a form builder that could handle dynamic tables and repeating sections. There were no others. But now, we use Cognito for everything, thanks to its ability to lookup entries and data from other forms.

Nachteile:

I still miss the ability to easily share a customized view of entries to people who are not Cognito subscribers.

Cognito and our SUCCESS

Kommentare: I am very pleased. I was able to create various forms of which helped our organization be much more efficient.

Vorteile:

I like that you can easily create forms that fit your needs.

Nachteile:

It would be great if there were a section just with a table of all possible scripting that can be used and organized by category. I know that you can search for it in the help section, but a library would be great. It would also be nice to have a library of tutorials for various items to include the use of certain scripts.

Great for customers and employees

Kommentare: Surprising. The more you use it, the more functionality that you discover.

Vorteile:

You can build a detailed form with complex workflows. It's what we needed for customers and HR.

Nachteile:

The most secure option for forms is to have everyone, including employees, be users. You can work around this limitation, but it would be elegant to have an inexpensive user option with low level permissions for employees.

User-Friendly Form Builder

I can also connect my data with other tools. 3. Flexible Payment and Conditional Logic Options: Cognito makes it easy to collect a payment directly within a form, streamlining my accounting and customer relations processes.

Nachteile:

Branding designs/opportunities are limited. I can use my logo but that's about it to make each form distinct while still representing my brand.

Cogntio streamlined everything for us!

Kommentare: Cognito has changed how we do business, making everything much more seamless and organised, we deal with sensitive data, so the encryption option is brilliant for us. We wouldn't be as efficient as we are now if it wasn't for Cognito!

Vorteile:

Ease of use, we have not come across something we couldn't do so far!

Nachteile:

Some features are locked away behind a paywall, but most may find that they don't need these, they have been very clever with how they have structured their subscriptions.

A form builder for those that need customize experience.

lots of features and can make just about any kind of form or survey you need. easy to start and learn it, very understandable interface.

Nachteile:

sometimes features have a small glitch. and there's some nicer features it is missing and little flexibility on the "look" of your form

Great choice, simple to use, inexpensive.

Kommentare: I built simple forms and then moved all the way to developing an integrated form that led our customer facing data collection process.

Vorteile:

Cognito is one of the few form platforms out there that is intuitive to use, allows for the upload of forms and integrates into SharePoint.

Nachteile:

I have no down-sides of the platform. I’m a raving fan.

Builds great forms for event registration and archiving is great to have

Kommentare: I have used Cognito for over 5 years and I like more about it than I dislike. Our clients love how easy it is to fill out, submit and pay, until they cannot pay because the form does not redirect. This happens about 30% of the time. I am sure there is something in the background causing this to happen but there has not been any assurance from Tech Support that it will ever be a priority to try to resolve.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is for us to build forms for registrations for events, online contests, RSVP documents. Our business needs to be able to collect information we can then export into our email program and it is an easy process with Cognito. Love the option to customize the forms - wish it offered more fonts, and more options to make forms visually appealing.

Nachteile:

My only complaint is the failure of the form to redirect to the payment processing website. Since we use this to process registration and payments - this has me looking for other Software programs that will eliminate this problem. Tech support was no help - not that I was able to talk to a human being. All over email and offered explanations that did not offer any solution to fix the problem.

Easy to use

Did not integrate wit TaxDome. To use customer service you need to open a ticket and wait.

Cognito forms

Kommentare: Experience has been great and we will be recommending this to our network of clients.

Vorteile:

The ability to create new forms and to have these forms separated and the ability to receive feedback from our contractors or in an emergency send the link and receive feedback from a tenant dealing with an urgent issue in the property and the video call tool we use does not work and we are able to see images and videos to be able to assist with the images and videos we have sent. Also the emails received via our email to remind us as dealing with many other issues can be hard to keep up but cognito forms is great overall and we could not do without it.

Nachteile:

There is not a single thing we have come across that we do not like and this is a crucial tool for our business.

Great Software, helps our business automate tasks.

I love that I can use Cognito Forms for reviews, for client feedback, for research, for applications, and interest forms. The forms are very easy to create, look great, and are easy to fill and submit.

Nachteile:

I still don't really understand how to get the most out of workflow, would love more access to how to videos ect.

The forms look and feel cannot be changed

Excellent Functionality, Great Value for Money

Reporting on results is a bit basic. Results need to be manipulated in a spreadsheet.

Very Happy With Cognito Forms!

Vorteile:

Cognito Forms is simple (even if you are not tech-savvy) and efficient when it comes to collecting information from your audience. Personally, I have used Cognito Forms both to collect surveys and signups from our congregation. Not only has creating the forms been easy (on my end), but just as important, completing the forms (on the receiving end) has also been very easy. And once the form is completed, Cognito Forms make it very easy to export the data into a usable spreadsheet.

Nachteile:

Cognito Forms has been very useful in our purposes of data collection. I have no particular criticisms.

Good form builder to customise and link with automations

Very customisable. Links up well with automation services like make.com. Lightweight coding.

Nachteile:

The UI on the back end can be a little difficult to navigate until you know what you're looking for.

Vorteile:

I have been using Cognito to collect data from two schools. The system is pretty intuitive, and once you have used it for awhile, a lot of things are clearer. For example, to name the columns or categories for when you are ready to export a file to excel, you can simply customize the field names, which helps a lot. The forms embed nicely on a website. The emails sent to customers is great. I love that I can work with others on these forms; that has been excellent. The Support for Cognito has been excellent; they are swift and comprehensive in their help. The forms really allow for you to do a lot.

Nachteile:

Some of the problems I have run into are the following: --placing an image in the form header has been tricky. I can't easily place it as I'd like. --I initially named the organization something, and I'd like to change it. I can't easily do that now because the form links are according to the original organization name. It certainly is possible, but it will take some time to fix. --Sometimes it's clear that the server is busy, and it does not work well on Safari (nothing really does, though) --I wish there was an easier way to have people make sure they paid for something before they filled out a form (which ultimately requires payment for submission). It's not clear how to do this.

Vorteile:

I love that I am able to use CognitoForms on my website to help customers arrange orders. The calculation function allows me to block dates that we are not open or booked which is above and beyond what I was expecting it to be. Never have I ever had any glitches or orders missed because of not getting orders notifications.I started with CognitoForms afters my website thru VistaPrint would not send any forms that customers submitted to me, but would notify the customers it was successfully submitted (bull hockey). I would get a call from a customer that submitted a form 2 days prior and I had no notice about it coming in. FRUSTRATING! And the automated email to the customers "from our business" makes us look super sharp and efficient in addition to letting them know the details they requested and that they're order was successful! I love love love these guys and couldn't find anything at all to complain about! Support is top notch too! You really are the best hands down!

Nachteile:

Not a THING!! If I could recommend anything to help make this already phenomenal program better is maybe a "Reservation Calendar" view, where it allows customers to see a full calendar versus a Date Selection box, and maybe add a calculation for "Next Available Date" when used with limited quanity for the Date field. But that's hardly a con, just a suggestion! :o}

Well established online form builder with killer feature set

Kommentare: I have used Cognito for 4-years on a number of simple websites for contact forms right through to complex medical referral systems generating custom PDF output and mapping data to several outputs.

Vorteile:

Cognito is now a well established SaaS product, which is really important because in the world of forms they come and go pretty fast. The feature set is excellent and continues to steadily (not rapidly) evolve. Integration with outside apps is served very well either through Zapier, Integromat or direct webhooks to your own apps. The payment features are well considered and offer calculated amounts and lots of good conditional logic often required in a payment pipeline. The ability to embed forms anywhere with or without Cognito CSS is great too, I usually use the oddly named "Chameleon theme" to easily blend in with my own website CSS PDF generation is brilliant too, especially the ability to edit your own templates

Nachteile:

The design and branding of their own website is pretty retro and off putting for what is actually a state of the art SaaS form and data handling app. The form fields are improving but have sometimes lagged behind in using modern controls such as good date pickers. Form validation is a bit lacklustre in terms of behaviour and styling options We're all waiting for subscription management with Stripe!!
