SurePayroll - accurate, timely, easy to use

Vorteile:

Love that we are able to provide every employee with their own log in access to view history, print copies of checks and W-2's. Frees up a lot of time by allowing them to perform this critical task.

Nachteile:

Nothing negative too report. We have not experienced any problems with accuracy of data, and their security is excellent.

Excellent for Health Care Payroll

Kommentare: Overall it has been excellent. I use Gusto for my other business and am thinking about switching.

Vorteile:

Easy to run payroll. I also like the reminders. I am very busy so these are very helpful. The reporting is also very good.

Nachteile:

Some of the set up was a bit difficult especially in the tax area for employees. My employees have said that the self service portal was difficult to navigate. I have one employee that keeps getting locked out of the account.

Very Poor Customer Service, Lots of Mistakes

Kommentare: If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with a different company. They seem ok for large companies that have dedicated staff to handle payroll. But their customer service is absolutely awful, and the support is often non-existent. I would shop around and find a company with better service, even if you have to pay more.

Vorteile:

Surepay did a decent job once we got it setup. It ran our payroll well, and they have a range of options on how to file. As long as you don't have an issue the company is pretty decent.

Nachteile:

They setup our initial employees and made a mistake with one in another state. They filed unemployment insurance with the wrong state agency, even though the other taxes were filed with the right none. No explanation for why. We had to fight that battle ourselves. The CSR tried to get us to extend to the end of the year, gaslighting us by stating we wouldn't get year end reports done. Well in payroll everything is done quarterly and we can fill out our own W2's (use the IRS form publicly available). They hung up on us twice when we refused to extend service. They did not want us to cancel. I spent two hours on the phone trying to cancel, was forwarded to different departments, was dropped into the receptionists office, and it took me threatening legal action to get our cancellation done. Their employees are very rude and impatient. They don't listen to your issue, constantly talk over you and interrupt, and then drop your call if you dare to ask them to listen to your issue. Their culture seems as though it could be toxic.

Great Option

Vorteile:

Surepayroll is easy to use. The website is very intuitive and on the rare occasion when I needed help, [sensitive content hidden] responded quickly and provided great directions. He has always (the 2 times I needed help over the last 15 months) solved my issue on the first contact. Unlike QuickBooks (which is about twice the cost) SurePayroll has been frustration-free!

Nachteile:

Nothing! As stated above, working with SurePayroll has been a frustration-free experience!

SurePayroll Meets Our Needs

Vorteile:

SurePayroll was exactly what our operation was looking for: Ease, Simplicity and Functional. It also helps that we very rarely need any customer service assistance. The online portal is easy to use and pretty straightforward in that even a beginner in the world of Payroll can figure it out and learn it in no time!

Nachteile:

We don't always need the service depending on how revenue is coming in and so it would be nice to pause the service during the periods when it is not needed rather than continue to be charged the monthly fee.

Kommentare: I am using Sure Payroll for 3 months and happy with Surepayroll. I was very frustrated with my previous payroll company (Axx), now I am happy switching to Sure Payroll. Highly recommend to everyone!

Vorteile:

Simple & easy to set up & simple to use the app.Provides what I need for payrolls.

Nachteile:

Report has manual setup to get. If it can be automated monthly email to the customer, it would be helpful.

I like the easy use of the software. Easy to setup employees and run reports when needed.

Nachteile:

Not easy to setup sick pay for NJ. It is a manual process currently.

ADP is so worth the $$ in comparison to sitting on hold for 1+ hours EVERYTIME you need help

Kommentare: I LOVED this company when I started with them years ago. Over the last 2 years their service has gone in the toilet. Literally just about EVERY time I have contacted them for the last 2 years I have had to sit on hold for over an hour. I am typing this review while I sit on hold (for an hour and a half according to what I was just told will be my addl hold time) because I was supposed to have access to my reports in my account that I closed through april 1 of this year. My accountant can not access, I can not access (I would think this is illegal???) and now I wait. THANK GOD I have left this group, for the extra money I am paying ADP I will SAVE so much on time lost.

Vorteile:

It was great until 2020. Software was fine, it is the service that is horrible.

Nachteile:

See the overall experience. Service is the worst.

Easy to use self service payroll

Kommentare: I have been using this service since my previous service raised the price again. The payroll service has been easy to use, has tax compliance and direct deposit and is reasonably priced.

Vorteile:

I like it is simple, I can have direct deposit, I can get clear reports and tax compliance. It is also reasonably priced. While designed to be self service, but the support is excellent.

Nachteile:

If you are off schedule it gets harder to get back on track.

A great choice for any Start Up

Kommentare: I would highly recommend it to any business operation of any size. It has been an affordable and highly functional resource for us.

Vorteile:

Inexpensive to set up and highly functional features to address the needs of small, medium or large scale operations.

Nachteile:

Our experience so far has been extraordinary. We have been using the system for about 3 months and the utility has been extraordinary. Customer service and support has been outstanding. I am yet to have a complaint.

Good and simple for small businesses

Kommentare: Seamless to set up and easy to use. My implementations was quick and seamless.

Vorteile:

Sure payroll is easy to use and simple interface.

Nachteile:

Not sure it will scale as I grow. If I had a large number of employees, I will need to automate timecard entry, and I'm not sure how that looks in Sure Payroll.

Great value for your money

Kommentare: Very good.
Only the attempt to procure workers comp insurance was troublesome.

I liked the promotion regarding getting free first month but there after, rates went up and up.

Great Affordable Payroll Solution

Easy of set up, ease of use, and price are the best features of this payroll system.

Nachteile:

The only negative so far was how often one of the account managers called to check on me. Kind of Annoying.

Kommentare: Overall Surepay provided all the necessary platforms and features that will suffice for smaller companies.

Vorteile:

I enjoyed the dedicated portal for all accounts. It also allowed us to view all previous stubs and download w2 forms as needed from mobile.

Nachteile:

Not much I didn't like about Surepayroll.Perhaps sometimes the logging-in procedure was a bit hard due to the security authentication feature.
