GetSiteControl is a super flexible platform for creating pop-ups and widgets to sites.

Kommentare: My overall impression of the software is very good. I definitely like the platform and it is something that provides a comprehensive service to help the business and the user's site.

Vorteile:

Fully accessible platform even for people without programming skills - just choose different options such as themes, ready-made templates, resolution settings, layout and appearance, button and field names and actions. Most valuable for me is option to show widgets on particular page and time.

Nachteile:

Maybe for some users it would be good to have multilingual support. I also could not find any integration into social networks - Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others.

Satisfactory but not so extraordinary

Kommentare: Just Satisfactory. You can use it for free for one week if your site is not built on WordPress. As it provides free plugins to create such pages with more customization options.

Vorteile:

You can create a free form for display on your website. There are options to choose when, where and on which pages to show the newsletter form. Form analytics are shown and emails are also stored on the website. It is very easy to integrate and provides a step by step guide that how we can integrate the code inside our website theme.

Nachteile:

There are very fewer options to customize the form as we desire and this stores all data in their own website for access. There is no option to link our own database or excel sheet with it. Moreover, it performs a simple function of displaying newsletter or contact us form. There are better softwares with more functionalities and they are free to use.

Easy to use with great results

Kommentare: I have used Getsitecontrol in 2 Wordpress Blogs (around 300-400 articles) for at least two years now.

Vorteile:

- Easy to use - Excellent designs of pop-ups. They are very professional; I believe the best-looking ones from 4-5 other alternatives that I have used - Lot of customization on where the pop-up should be displayed based on automated things or things like UTM, Country, URL, Time on page, etc - Many seasonal designs ready to be used, like Halloween, Black Friday Deals, etc - Very responsive support team - Good value for the money - The designs convert decently if you are an affiliate

Nachteile:

- It would be great if it had more customization on the URL selection and maybe a connection with WordPress to show the banners based on categories, tags, etc. - It would be great if it also had a complete email suite (even as an add-on) so we don't have to use another integration

I do not dislike Getsitecontrol at all. Getsitecontrol has been the best.

Kommentare: Overall getsitecontrol has grown my email marketing list by literally thousands of people over the years. I have used getsitecontrol for close to 10 years. It is great.

Vorteile:

Getsitecontrol allows me to add a number of conditional popups to my website which helps me build my email marketing lists. Using Getsitecontrol along with Zapier allows me to set up multiple automated actions for new people signing up. It's great.

Nachteile:

The only real con would be the limitations on what can be created. It would be nice if there were further customization options to add to popups.

Great suite of website widgets to increase your visitor engagement, leads and conversions

Kommentare: This is a good collection of useful widgets that you can add to your site for getting the attention of your visitors, showing them around and converting them into email subscribers or customers. Pretty cool, although you don't want to overdo it by adding too many widgets to too many pages. Less is more, you don't want to overdo it. The interface is smooth and makes it pretty easy to get your campaigns started. I found the documentation to be clear and didn't run into issues. This is a tool that's frequently updated. That's also important to me.

Vorteile:

You get a lot of different tools that you can play with on your site. Adding them is easy and there's enough customization possible. The different tools look great out of the box, so you won't really need too many changes (although you can change some things). There are some advanced settings as well, so this is great for beginners and more advanced marketers and site owners.

Nachteile:

I didn't run into issues when testing this. There are a few widgets where I'd love to have a bit more control over the look and feel, but I'm okay with that. It's not the end of the world.

A great user research and feedback tool

Vorteile:

One of the best user research and feedback tool, sporting popups, mats, subscription widgets, surveys, polls and more. It also has lots of targeting features based on timing, user actions or user events. A great tool, easy to use, zero-footprint and easy to set up.

Nachteile:

The free tier is now gone. It used to have a decent number of users/views to make it a good tool for beginner marketers.

Bring traffic into your sales funnel

Kommentare: It's a good value added tool when working with clients and managing their website. Split testing is easy and provides good information. While pop-ups may not be the hippest technology, it's still one of the best ways to gain email subscribers and sales leads.

Vorteile:

This is a very easy tool to integrate and customize. It impressed our clients who liked to see the results of our split tests. Overall it's a simple way to provide a "chat" feature, get feedback from customers, add people to an email list etc. It's a must have for a website that is driving it's own traffic using paid ads. It works well in mobile/desktop as well.

Nachteile:

It's a pop-up tool. The far majority of users will not put their information in, or fill out a survey.

The new email integrations could be more customizable.

Di Getsitecontrol apprezzo molto la velocità e la semplicità con cui è possibile inserire widget personalizzati sulle pagine del sito. In pochissimi minuti è possibile inserire un'attività promozionale bella e coinvolgente.

Nachteile:

Apprezzo molto la piattaforma ma se proprio devo trovare un difetto non mi piace il modo in cui viene mostrato l'elenco dei widget. Quando se ne hanno tanti come nel mio caso sarebbe utile ordinarli in base a diversi criteri automatici (alfabetico, età ecc...) invece al momento si possono filtrare o ordinare manualmente.

Vorteile:

One of the most valuable feature for me is the ability to choose where you want to show the pop-up. You can choose different pages , OS and time. With css the banners are fully customizable.

Nachteile:

I don't see any significant cons. The price is perfect. Maybe more templates bwill save me more word and time.

Solid tool with easy UI, great intuitive analytics and awesome fast support

Vorteile:

We use this tool to show exit intent popups on our site and just the ease of everything from setup to analytics and reporting is great anytime we have an issue support is super fast even though we're across the world from their headquarters and even writing code for us if needed to customize forms beyond basic functionality.

Nachteile:

I'd say maybe customizability. I know it's hard to be fully customizable but little things like being able to add bullet points in the text fields would be nice.

Awsome product

The price for what you get in return. Other than depending on just google analytics. I love what you can do. You can customize the widgets to almost any way you can imagine. I love the analytics too. You can really see where your traffic is coming from and really judge if a campaign is really working.

Very easy to use and does 100% what is needs to do for a very fair price. Absolute value for money! We accomplish great results and the customer service is absolutely fantastic.

Nachteile:

We don't use the full potential of GetSiteControl, so if i have to mention 1 con, it would be that we maybe were not really aware of the email automation options
