Workhub for Safety Management and Compliance

Kommentare: A great move to go paperless. Tried a few other companies, and workhub led the way.

Vorteile:

Everything is great so far. Work hub on any smartphone or device creates efficient reporting, learning curve is quick and customer support is quite rapid and excellent.

Nachteile:

Site sign in of visitors is a problem usi g the QR code system. Issues with sign out at end off the day or when leaving. As the page refreshes and they lose the ability to check out. Auto complete should be part of the system for individules who are regulars to visiting.

Value Adding Safety Data Management Software

Kommentare: I have worked with Workhub for over a decade and I can’t imagine doing my job without it.

Vorteile:

Workhub is an amazing system that makes safety data management streamlined and seamless. It is always improving and growing with the industry. The customer service is way over and above any I have ever encountered.

Nachteile:

Workhub doesn't have a statistics-tracking component which would be VERY helpful.

Kommentare: Overall, it's a great program, continually getting better, their customer service is always pleasant, quick and eager to help or offer suggestions and they are honest about their downfalls which I appreciate.

Vorteile:

The customer service is top notch. I love the chat feature, the articles feature that pops up when you're searching to try and solve your own issue. I like the simple format, it is friendly looking and seemingly a simple program for the workers.

Nachteile:

It does lack some intricacies that would make the progam just that much better. It seems to be getting better and the programers are always working on creating more functions but there are a few additional layers that could be added to help the administrators be able to use Workhub entirely rather than still needing to utilize additional supports outside of Workhub.

Constructive Feedback on Work Hub by ASI TECH

Kommentare: Overall experience has been very positive.

Vorteile:

The interface is very user friendly, and it is very easy to navigate your way on all elements of the website

Nachteile:

The Duck Logo for a Safety Work Hub is inconsistent with the service the website provides. A better Logo which on one look conveys a construction safety or general safety impression would be ideal. Addition of few more courses, for e.g. H2S awareness, CSO (Common Safety Orientation) etc.

Small Business with Five Locations across Canada

Kommentare: Excellent, our owner can find information about policies, procedures and compliance without having to look in different applications or manuals. Makes my job easier.

Vorteile:

Instant communication with all of our five locations for new policies and procedures. The online training modules linked to certificates provide a one-stop source for our compliance and onboarding of new employees consistently.

Nachteile:

Safety meeting functionality takes a while to configure for our operation.

Workhub Review

Kommentare: very good, very user friendly. employees not having to much difficulty in using this app.

Vorteile:

Easy access to training videos. cost per worker is very good factor. support is very good in returning calls. having all documents stored with 1 app

Nachteile:

Sometimes training is required for a particular employee. Workhub can't separate these training without changing location of employees every time. Then you have to return the employee to the original location after training completed. On the training videos it should be indicated if it is CCOHS compliance

Using Workhub

Vorteile:

I really like the ease of use that Workhub has. The workers I signed up, didn't have any issues navigating the Workhub platform. I like the ability to upload my own custom courses.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if Workhub expanded the documentation reporting options. Reports are limited and cumbersome. More options for customizing the existing courses and a way to assign a single person to a specific course (usually for remedial training).

Kommentare: use it daily for tacking, communicating, and organizing documentation.

Vorteile:

online courses cover basic awareness courses for new hires during orientation, helps us save on xternal course costs.

Nachteile:

Meeting features, not the easiest to use.

Great platform for businesses!

Kommentare: We LOVE this platform - can't say enough good things about it.

Vorteile:

We love that we can maintain crew certificates, assign and track compliance and monitor progress of those items assigned. We also love how easy it was to transition our low-tech crews to this platform. Customer service is absolutely top notch! We have eliminated a $6000 annual program that only did a fraction of what WorkHub can do. We also love the rewards program.

Nachteile:

The custom documents could use some improvement but we've submitted our suggestions through the WorkHub feedback tool and love that we can see, and vote, on all other suggested upgrades

Best decision we've made for managing our Safety Program.

Kommentare: Excellent program! I am a huge advocate for Workhub and all it offers. They are consistently growing and improving and its exciting to be a part of it.

Vorteile:

Customer service and response time is second to none. Workhub features and options cover everything we need for compliance. The new features that come out periodically are always a positive and useless improvement to the program.

Nachteile:

I wish there were more training videos on how to set things up. Safety compliance is so complex within our industry so I'm constantly needing to figure out how I can gear our program more towards the industry requirements.

Safety Sync Review

Kommentare: Overall Safety Sync has been a great system to keep our safety program organized and up to date. The customer service/support side of the business has really impressed me. I've had a few complications with the system and the team is always there with solutions readily available when we need them. There are a few areas that would be nice to have developed such as competency testing. Currently, there are no competency tests linked to any training that you upload in the system. OSSE audit requirements must ensure that companies are assessing competency after training, so we spend a lot of time doing this manually instead of just having a test in the system. As well - it would be great to have an administration feature to allow you to override the system when employees have manually completed required training outside of the system. Example - if we do a large group training session in the classroom instead of sitting down employees at Safety Sync terminals, their assigned training still shows as due. There is currently no way for the admin to mark it as complete without sending the data to the safety sync team to do for us. This is time-consuming for the Safety Sync team and if we had permissions - we could easily do this ourselves. The new requirement for users needing an email address has also caused us some pain. We are a production facility where the majority of our employees do not have company email. Many of our employees do not want to include their personal email on a work related training tool. As well others do not even have email addresses. As a workaround, we have been creating fake emails just to get users passwords reset or make changes to their account.

Vorteile:

Reporting capabilities showing completed training. Easy to make changes to policies. Good record keeping abilities to show updates made to policies/procedures.

Nachteile:

Lack of ability to test competency.

Workhub Administrator View

Kommentare: By far this is one of my favorite programs to work with.

Vorteile:

This platform is user-friendly, the chat support or phone in is reliable and helpful with followup if required. The layout of the platform is easy to understand with pop up user guides when you hover over the icons mostly.

Nachteile:

It is frustrating when the course will not acknowledge the certificate due to not setting it up in the right sequence. This was a learning curve that support help me to get through.

Workhub and Safety Management

Kommentare: Great, it's easy to manage and the staff like it as well for a singular collection of all Safety Related items.

Vorteile:

Training: good modules Inspections: easy to use.

Nachteile:

Inspections: need the ability to drill down to unit, facility and people with safety related data. Check on Best Practices reporting in Alberta to see what we use for comparison between our peers in other parts of the province. Units: kilometers or hours on spreadsheet to trend the useage. People: which staff are completing the inspections.

Work in progress with a lot of potential.

Kommentare: I learned how to navigate the system through trial and error, and have become a teacher for the rest of the managers here on how to use it. We are constantly learning more efficiencies that we wish were simply explained in some way, and finding glitches or things that don't quite work as advertised.
It's like having a great new device with no manual or technicians.

Vorteile:

It provides a convenient place to keep training records, SDS sheets, and inspection reports. The reports you can pull from the system can provide useful insights.

Nachteile:

The "safety meetings" function does not link to training or compliance as it is supposed to, so every meeting will require an admin going through and marking the training as complete manually.

SafetySync for The Mustard Seed

Kommentare: We use SafetySync as a training and onboarding tool for our volunteers... since I used to work at SafetySync, I highly value the system and I'm glad we've been able to manipulate it's capabilities to fit with our needs... Perhaps using us as an example, the software could be sold to other volunteer based not-for-profits that require training before volunteers can become part of an organization. It works perfectly for us.

Vorteile:

Easy to add our training and documents to the software. Seems to easily integrate with existing systems.

Nachteile:

It seems most people are STILL bad at using online systems... because people get confused with the employee portal and find it hard to navigate. I suspect this issue will fade as the next generation will identify more with systems and computer-based interfaces. But for now, it's still funny and frustrating at the same time. Perhaps there can be a button that can toggle on and off which would allow popups to direct people - or notify - of various buttons they can click and why.

Our experience with SafetySync

Kommentare: SafetySync has streamlined our training process and provided a level of consistency in the training that our employees get. The program has many extra features that have made our overall Safety Program much more efficient and I recommend this program to everyone.

Vorteile:

Good programs. We enter employee certificates and their expiries which the system tracks for us . Also alot of other documentation is entered for employee acces, under "forms". Rewards program is simple and easy to use.

Nachteile:

There is no U.S.A. Hazmat program, so our U.S. entities have to go outside the system for that, such as JJ Keller.

Customized to Company Needs

Kommentare: SafetySync's product was very appealing, but our company was not needing all the features. SafetySync customized their product to our company's needs and the cost was more than reasonable. Our company is now able to keep track of all employees and equipment in all areas and receives document expiration notices to keep our company in compliance. Good product, Good company, and Great overall!

Vorteile:

I like that I can use it the way that it works best for our company and restrict access to users based on their area. The product allows me to upload or download documents from anywhere without having to contact someone else to have documentation sent to me or someone else.

Nachteile:

For the simple fact that I asked it to be customized to our company's needs, it restricts some things that could be useful.

Easy to Use

Kommentare: The system is easy to use and makes things very simple when managing 100 or more workers. When you are one person managing a safety program it cuts down on a lot of wasted time building spreadsheets or chasing down documentation. It is also a great tool for getting your field workers everything they need no matter where they are.

Online Training

Kommentare: It has been a good experience but there are a few issues.

Vorteile:

The training seems engaging and not boring and easy to follow.

Nachteile:

Limited Spanish for courses. I put in a request to have closed captions added to the training video so Spanish speaking employees can take the training.

Starting to look "outdated". No integrated forms and workflow (FLHA's, etc.)

Health & Safety Facilitator

Kommentare: Safety Sync is easy to administer and use. It would be helpful if we could make changes to all accounts at once. It would also be nice to be able to transfer ALL information over from one account to another

Number #1 Relief

Kommentare: SafetySync is a life saver. It will track my workers tickets, allow me to upload company specific courses, and workers can complete orientations in the field rather than having to travel to the head office.

Vorteile:

A variety of courses.

Very easy to set up and share info with field staff

Vorteile:

Very easy to use, track compliance, share information. The guys can easily access the necessary information from their phones as needed.

Nachteile:

use of forms in the field for mobile users could be easier. It can be difficult to complete the forms and upload them on their phones.

Great program for Safety Program

Kommentare: This program is great for uploading policies, and then going back to review. I also like the option of going back and looking at old versions that were uploading and the fact that it keeps up with the number of versions uploaded.

Have to go one by one to choose with policy goes with each position

Great program

Kommentare: We mainly use for orientations which are very helpful and saves me a ton of time on having to review courses manually. The only thing I would suggest is to make it possible to allow safety tickets that are uploaded shared with other SafetySync users.
