Great product, great support.

Vorteile:

This software checked all of the boxes that the association had on their wishlist. It works flawlessly with their existing website and the member interface (portal) seemed to be intuitive enough that there wasn't a lot of errors or pushback. The association's goal was to automate as many processes as possible, since there was no regular office staff to answer questions. Product support was among the best I've experienced.

Nachteile:

Nothing that stands out. The association has been using it for over a year.

Just so easy

Kommentare: Moving from our “over complicated” membership software to your streamlined, easy to understand and logical programming has made my job so much easier. It is so easy to find what I am looking for. When I can’t find it, your customer service is unreal and I just wanted to say Thanks.

Vorteile:

it is logical. I can get segments that I want with no complicated entry terms. It is easy to figure out how to get to where I want to go in order to see what I need to see.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if we could integrate a bit of HTML into the profiles. I would also love the option to embed videos.

Lots of features but not a great plug-in for a large non-profit organizations.

Kommentare: There are a lot of good features like the ability of having a store and events but it does not really fit our needs. We need reports that you can get with just a click instead of downloading everything into excel and bending that to our needs. One of the main down falls to this plug-in is just searching for a members name. Just today I needed to renew Peter Elliot and 126 matches came up. It pulled every Peter and every Elliot in the database and anyone that has a street address with Peter or Elliot on it. So I just typed in Elliot and 16 members popped up and only ONE named Peter Elliot. Another downfall is the extremely high price for a non-profit organization to come up with. Per year this plug-in is not cost effective. So needless to say we are currently looking for a different membership database that better fits our needs.

Vorteile:

Has lots of useful Features but there are more drawbacks than there are Pros. One good thing I can say is that they always answer an email you send them. (But they give excuses about why certain things cant be done instead of adding it to their features).

Nachteile:

We needed to go with 10K membership level for per month - so EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE for a non-profit to utilize. Does not offer one-click reports. - The interface is NOT user friendly for our specific needs, we are told to download to excel spreadsheet then manipulate the spreadsheet as needed. Overall our organization will be looking for a different membership database soon, cost compared to value is not there.

Hi Frank, If you search for "Peter Elliott", there would only be one search result/match. However if you searched for "Peter Elliot" (missing the second "t" at the end), there are no exact matches so in that situation our system provides all accounts that partially match "Peter" or "Elliot". We are releasing new features on a constant basis but please understand that we are not a custom or build to suit system, although we do take customer feedback into consideration, we are unable to add features on demand to satisfy every customer. Regarding pricing, our pricing is inline with, or lower than, many of our competitors for all-in-one membership software. Our team is disappointed to receive this review, but we understand our system may not be the perfect fit for you or your organization. Best membership software I've used!

Kommentare: AMAZING! I came from Memberpress which was a nightmare. SO glad I switched over!

Vorteile:

This software has literally EVERYTHING I would ever need to run my membership organization. My favorite feature would have to be just how much data it collects for each member. From their event attendance history, to billing, to their directory listing....it's just amazing!

Nachteile:

Sometimes things are hard to find and I've had to reach out to support to figure it out. But they have always been extremely helpful and super quick to respond!

Fantastic Integrated Membership and Event Ticketing Software Plus Much More

Vorteile:

I've already described so many excellent features. I will add that Customer Service is some of the best I've experienced in over 50 years of my work career! If not immediately available they respond quickly. They are extremely knowledgeable about the product to immediately answer questions and make suggestions to optimize your usage of their software. This applies every step of the way from the very beginning of setup to using advanced features.

Nachteile:

At first their interface to find where setup functions are located takes some getting used to but I don't think it's any different than learning any other new software. The big difference is that if you get stuck they are easily available to help. So this isn't really a "con" at all :)

Great CRM for organizations

Vorteile:

An organization I work with needed a CRM for a small membership base - less than 100, but it also needed to do events. MW does that and more! It's been a great addition to the organization. The customer service is top notch! they are quick to respond to emails and will offer to do screen share trainings with you if needed. It has streamlined our membership process significantly and helped streamline our event planning and registration process all-in-one place.

Nachteile:

Would like a few features, and have requested them ... like being able to have outstanding invoices on a board on dashboard vs having to look at each member record to see if paid or running a financial report.

MembershipWorks is perfect for managing our small Chapter's business from year to year.

Kommentare: The ability to maintain all Chapter business items in one place so that it can easily be managed when leadership changes, year to year. No more spreadsheets to manage members, no more emails going back and forth with class registrant info - everything is on MemberShipWorks.

Vorteile:

MembershipWorks is packed with features to manage our small not-for-profit professional organization. The biggest advantage comes with the ability to maintain all membership records, sponsor commitments, and organizational materials in one place since Leadership (Board) changes every year. All Chapter business can be handled through the website using MembershipWorks. It is incredibly easy to set-up, manage, and use. What I like most about MembershipWorks is that its features and functionality are geared to associations and professional organizations, particularly 501 C(3) and 501 C(6) corporations. Most of the other membership management software and plugins I first looked into did not even come close to providing the features that MembershipWorks offers. Technical support from MembershipWorks is outstanding! I've called for support a couple of times and always gotten a prompt connection by phone and the issue resolved in minutes. For the money, there is no better membership management software service out there!

Responsive support team focuses on ensuring clients have the tools they need for over 3 years!

Vorteile:

The responsive support team has consistently provided a great platform for our organization for over three years. Our members and staff have spoken very highly of the ease of online sign ups and event management. MembershipWorks frequently releases new features that have helped our organization better serve our own members.

Nachteile:

Our 40 year old organization only recently made the transition to electronic payments as well as online member and event management. Consequently, we needed to update several of our work flows in order to coordinate with the MembershipWorks platform. In many cases, however, we saw updates that included features that met our needs after reaching out to the support team.

AMAZING!!! great customer service very hands on

Vorteile:

it is user friendly and intuitive. I was not familiar with it, but just by looking around I was able to figure things out. Then when I got stuck I used the live chat. I got a FABulous rep that not only answered my quick questions but then we set up a go to meeting and walked me through the things I needed. I could tell she was engaged, she was pleasant and helpful. I am not much to brag, but not only is the software superb but the customer experience took it to a whole new level!!!. I am incredibly thankful that they are offering the support they do.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a PayPal option at check out-and that there were options on different colors to pick from

The Epitome of Excellent Customer Service

Kommentare: Despite having a really useful Help section, it doesn't matter if it section can't answer every question, because the customer service is second to none! Replies are always timely and helpful, and all the staff really go out of their way to make the system work as smoothly as possible for your organisation. I came to MembershipWorks because a charity I work for in the UK used them. Even before I personally signed up, Executive was really helpful and took the time to Skype with me and make sure that MembershipWorks was the right product for my needs. Since signing up, any technical issues that I have had (most nothing to do with the MembershipWorks system itself) have been quickly resolved - the team have really taken the stress out of setting up my own company. I have since recommended MembershipWorks to another organisation in the UK who have also been delighted with the functionality of the system, and the customer service of the staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Vorteile:

Easy to use, looks professional and useful Help section.

Nachteile:

Occasionally the Help section doesn't answer EVERY question.

Vorteile:

As a long time user of MembershipWorks, we regularly look to see if it still fits our needs... The answer is always yes. Renewals etc. need so little admit time, that we can focus on adding value for members and not have to worry about the system. We did have a complicated move of some members from a different instance of the system, but the team in Membershipworks were there for us.

Nachteile:

I thought that this is a negative, but will explain why it ended up a Plus We often think that we want to integrate MW into some of our other systems. We go through conversations about asking for APIs, hooks etc. These are not readily available... and we find another way to do what we want... or reassess the importance that the functionality would add... But, the plus side... by not having people like us dipping in and out of the database, MW can maintain a secure and reliable system... which should be the primary need of all orgs. It is also fun for us to look for workarounds, and finding ways to improve our work, which are almost always simpler than developing a bespoke app or integration.

Kommentare: Overall It is pretty well rounded as a membership platform and the cost is on point with their competitors.

Vorteile:

The incorporation of events and membership for ease of registration and ease of determining rates for members and non members.

Nachteile:

Not a huge fan of wordpress which is used for site management. We have multiple chapters that use it for their chapter information and it's difficult for them to navigate.

With the assistance of your customer service representative, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], I was able to create events that previously our company web designer did for us. I had so many questions and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was able to walk me through, step by step by email and virtually. She did so much and was ever so pleasant throughout. Without [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], I don't think I could have done this successfully.

Nachteile:

Some of the tutorials were difficult to follow. I do better with a checklist instead of having to view a video.

MembershipWorks is great for organziation and managing membership dues and events

Vorteile:

This system has helped our small non-profit tremendously. It keeps us organized with member communication and billing as well as helps our small team manage dues and events. Our finance team is small so it keep them notified with updates and new capabilities. There are many features we are not even aware of and when we call with a question the MembershipWorks team is always happy to help and clearly explains the solution.

Nachteile:

In the beginning I found it to be a bit difficult to navigate, however it has continued to grow into a user friendly platform with more and more options developing.

MembershipWorks works!

Kommentare: Assuming MemberFindMe is another name for MembershipWorks, we are very satisfied to have selected it to manage our membership base. It offers all the functions and features we need, and some we hadn't thought of, but will definitely explore and make use of. All at a price which remains accessible for a small association like ours (around 100 members)

Vorteile:

It is a feature-rich, well-thought product. The fact that it offers so much also makes it a bit complex to master, but it is worth the effort. I must say that I have never come across such an outstanding support service! MembershipWorks must be commended for it: support staff replies almost instantly to email queries, at almost any time of the day or night (in my time zone anyway)!

Nachteile:

An important feature for us is internationalization. We would very much like it to work using languages other than English also, or at a minimum allowing us to customize all prompts and text in the public interface in other national languages.

Great Product for an active mid size club.

Kommentare: Excellent overall feeling about the software and its implementation. Definitely the absolute best customer service support of any software company I have ever worked with.

Vorteile:

Very easy to integrate into supporting our website, as well as normal transactions for our outdoor sports oriented club. Customer Service is outstanding, with excellent and fast support when implementation issues arise or clarifications are necessary.

Nachteile:

Very limited feature adjustment allowed. It is mostly a fixed system with few allowances for creative changes or adjustments in process. No direct access to the member database to perform edits. Only provides database downloads from whatever is in the database at a given time.

Customer Service is Superior!

Vorteile:

Not only is this a beneficial platform that tracks everything you need, the company's customer service is OUTSTANDING! I do not think I have ever had a software/platform company who has ever responded to my issues as timely and completely as Membership works! Well Done!

Nachteile:

This isn't really a con but something that is difficult...there are so many options and capabilities, I feel like it'll take me forever to learn all the features!

Vorteile:

Easy to set up and use due to comprehensive help section. Any customizations not listed would be attended to by support team efficently and timely.

Nachteile:

When the product gets set up in a certain currency and membership levels have been created, it is currently not possible to change currency easily. All membership levels need to be recreated with the different currency preselected.

Kommentare: Great-looking website, ability to track membership, ability to start a blog, sign-ups for events, addition of donations, ability to link to payment gateway and mailing platform.

Vorteile:

It has allowed us to do everything we need, and more, for our new organization that had to start operating on a shoestring. It allowed us to easily create a professional website with great functionality. The customer support is quick, responsive, friendly and effective.

Nachteile:

The fact that I have to ask my teenaged kids to help with the html :) There are aspects to the more advanced functionality that would be difficult to impossible for an average computer user.

The customer support, even during the trial period is incredible, the support staff is the reason for my review, excellent.

Nachteile:

The trial license can make it hard to get a client to actually fund a proper license, it is a great trial/proof-of-concept process.

I like how easy MembershipWorks can be included with WIX. How we could personalize things with CSS and HTML and the easy use in general. [sensitive content hidden] was a great help and I loved how all our important points could be created. Her instructions were clear and easy and she was always looking for the best outcome. Kommentare: Brilliant customer service, showed me via a webinar how to resolve the problem, also taught me other features that I wasn't making the most of. Didn't use jargon and had great customer skills. Fantastic. Thanks for the support

Vorteile:

Its simple and easy to use.

Nachteile:

I would like to see a giant SAVE button so I know I have saved my changes I would also like to be able to drag and drop things.

Charisse was wondeful! Very helpful and kind.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to use and the support staff has been wonderful. We are able to use this for our website at a cost that fits our budget.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to have an individual payment per member associated with only one account on the Membership Works plug in.
