Kommentare: Ich finde IntelliJ eines der besten, je auf den Markt gebrachten Progammierprogramme für hauptsächlich die Sprache Java.

Vorteile:

Mir gefällt besonders gut, das man bei den meisten Sachen die man programmiert schon bei dem kleinsten Fehler drauf hingewiesen wird und einem auch geholfen wird mit Tutorials (.class).

Nachteile:

Mir gefällt persönlich das neue Design nicht so, weshalb ich das alte benutze.

Kommentare: I personally really like to use IntelliJ IDEA, excellent for me as an individual developer, and for the detailed code reviews and really efficient.

Vorteile:

Actually this is one of the best IDEA I have ever used, as a software developer I have been using IntelliJ IDEA nearly for 6 years. It highlight the potential errors, warnings and suggest possible fixes help me for smooth development. Its seamless git integration helps me for smooth version controlling, It is really user friendly to use. It support plugins like SonarLint which help us to manage our lint issues nicely

Nachteile:

as per I see it is feature rich IDEA so that it take some time to get familiar with, also it required some additional tool for collaborative workflow. For small or quick code reviews it will be overkilled the time. Also I would say not ideal for non JetBrains tools for CI/CD

Stability and usability all in one!

Kommentare: I develop Spring Boot powered Java backend Services and use the IDE to debug and develop the new services and methods, the inbuilt decompiler is also very useful in the case documentation is not available for an obsecure dependency

Vorteile:

Autofill and code Recommendations as well as the stable enviroment

Nachteile:

Too many services are paid, Maybe provide the AI code completion on a trial without adding in card details

Powerful code editor for java developer

Vorteile:

IntelliJ IDEA is one of the best code editor for software development. The shortcuts and suggestion for code makes the coding journey very easy. The interface is pleasing for the eyes which makes the code debugging quick and effective.

Nachteile:

It takes a lot of memory of computer which makes the experience worst if you are running it on a low end computer. For beginners it might take a lot of effort to setup

Kommentare: Amazing!!!! I was an "Eclipse lover" before using Intellij... Cannot go back to any other tool now. You won me Intellij. :)

Intellisense and the wide range of language support

Nachteile:

Lack of suggestions to do a specific thing effectively. May be utilize the AI to analyze what a user is doing and suggest better ways to acheive the same with in the tool.

Vorteile:

As a software engineer, I spend a large part of my day working with Intellij. The software offers features that simplify or improve my daily productivity, such as autocompletion, a very powerful debugger, efficient version management, unit test management and more. Intelij's interface is also a positive point: it's modern and customizable.

Nachteile:

On the other hand, Intellij is far from perfect; in my opinion, its biggest flaw lies in its performance. It's a fairly heavy piece of software that can quickly consume a lot of resources and block display, especially when indexing files. It's also a program that will require a bit of learning to make full use of its power.

Kommentare: I use IntelliJ for more than 10 years now and I've never found an IDEA that can compete with it in terms of features, stability and user interface.

Vorteile:

It's a fully featured and stable IDEA. One of the features I like the most is the Remote Host tool with which you can directly connect to a remote server, manage the files and do many useful operations.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it feels a little bit heavy and slow, especially during file indexing operation.

Kommentare: When I used it for the first time, this product made me a fan of it, I was using VSCode before this, but after using IntelliJ idea, my coding style improved and I can say, it makes you a better programmer

The softwares uses a lot of memory so running it on a low spec laptop is very difficult. It is also difficult for beginners to setup.

A really good option for college students to develop software

Kommentare: I've been using IntelliJ IDEA to develop Minecraft plugins for almost 2 years. I made a really good decision by using this software. I liked the fact that I could customize the UI and use my own themes and plugins. The preparation to build Minecraft plugins was really easy and fast, I loved that. I really recommend using IntelliJ IDEA to develop Minecraft plugins/mods.

Vorteile:

I liked because they provide a yearly free subscription for college students, which really helped because I needed a free/cheap IDE to try out my Java skills. The option I liked the most to practice Java was by making Minecraft plugins, and IntelliJ IDEA helped me with that.

Nachteile:

I unfortunately encountered some bugs when I tried to move my IntelliJ IDEA data from one device to another and couldn't set it up correctly so I had to reinstall the app on my new device.
