Mobile giving made easy

Vorteile:

This was the first solution we used for sms giving. It was easy to use and direct to the point. I don't think we ever had a technical issue with this service. Rock solid.

Nachteile:

It did what it was supposed to do, but we replaced it with an in-app gift option for free vs paying fees for SMS gifts.

Amazing Giving Platform!

Vorteile:

Very intuitive interface, straight forward and packed with tons of features. Their text to give feature was the main reason that we made the switch from our previous giving platform. Before the switch we had maybe 20% of our congregation give through our online platform. Since we have made the switch over to Kindrid we are now at around 90% of our giving comes from either online or text to give. Also, we have seen increases in overall giving year-over-year. They also give you a fair amount of promotional tools to promote and encourage generous giving. 10 out 10 would recommend Kindrid!

Nachteile:

I have nothing negative to say about them.

Could be more accounting/administratively friendly

Kommentare: Yes, this is a very easy platform to engage giving at your church. User setup is fairly simple, and the ease of use is really good. A simple text with an amount and a keyword and your gift is on its way. It is the backend accounting for the administrators that is a bit clunky. Unlike other giving platforms, Kindrid only allows you to connect one bank account. So if you are like most churches with multiple accounts for different funds, you will be making a lot of journal entries and transfers on backend to get your funds where they need to go. You cannot do split disbursement either. You can only make one deposit of whatever amount is currently available. The dashboard cannot be customized to view they way you want it. You cannot add keywords to a gift if one was not put in at the onset. Keywords can get hard to program to make it easy for the givers because the platform does not allow spaces between words. This seems silly until you actually have to tell the congregation what key word to use for a particular ministry or project. Like Pastor Appreciation. You can make it all one big word. Or try to shorten it up - PastApp, apprec, etc. You have to get creative in keyword assigning. The customer service is super friendly - all questions are answered through chat/email. Very quick to respond. It seems like there is some tweaking with this app that needs to be done to make it more user friendly for the people who manage the funds and do the accounting. We will probably keep looking for a more user friendly method.

Great service for giving!

Vorteile:

Easy online giving with amazing customer service. I can get answers within 5 minutes in their live chat and there has never been a problem they cannot resolve.

Nachteile:

Their reports are very small...I need to ask them for a reports that I need which they do get to me very fast. With their new update coming out next month though, I heard we will be able to run the scheduling giving report I have been looking for.

Excellent Value and Benefit

Kommentare: We've solved the problem of insufficient fund checks and people being able to give when they can't attend.

Vorteile:

Kindrid provides the opportunity for our church attenders to easily and confidently give either during our offering time or at their own convenience. It's especially helpful to those who can't attend in person. The church gets the offering by the next day, no worries about theft or insufficient funds, and we have an excellent record of the transactions. It's user friendly for both giver and bookkeeping!

Nachteile:

there are no negatives as far as I'm concerned.

Kindrid is the best in the bizz!

Vorteile:

I love that if I ever have issues (which are rare), I know I can resolve them within 10 minutes due to Kindrid's world-class customer service.

Nachteile:

If I have to choose something, it'd be that we have to pay extra for the 5-digit giving code. We'd really like one for ease-of-response, but we can't justify the extra cost.

Great software.

Vorteile:

We have used this product for a few years and had been easy to use and was easy to setup. Makes tracking donations very easy and imports directly to my financial software.

Nachteile:

The fees can get a little complicated but other then that its great

Kindrid makes giving easy

Kommentare: Our transition to Kindrid went very smoothly. Resources provided in advance by Kindrid allowed our organization to be prepared and to communicate clearly to our users the changes that would coming. Since moving to Kindrid, our users have not complained about the software and giving has been steady. We consider no news good news.

Vorteile:

The software was intuitive, clean, and simple to navigate.

Nachteile:

Nothing. We found the software suitable for our needs.

Good Product - but expensive

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and fairly user intuitive.

Nachteile:

The monthly costs plus the usage % fees make it more expensive than other options. We will likely switch away in the near future.

A great tool to engage givers

Vorteile:

We have seen several new givers as a result of using text giving. It is simple in format and easy to use.

Nachteile:

You can find better rates out there. The rates are reasonable for what you get, but it could be more competitive.

Text to Give

Kommentare: Kindrid is a wonderful company. If you need help in any way their techs are always helpful and walk you through any thing you need help with. They will do one on one training with you if you want it.

Vorteile:

It is easy to set up the software . It has multiple features that allow it to be used for more than just regular donations. The ability to set up forms for events is a great asset . They have online training and whenever there are updates they walk you through the new features.

Nachteile:

Not the software per se but when someone accidentally gives a wrong amount by ACH it takes up to 10 days to be able to refund the money back to the bank account. It is not Kindrid's fault, but is it frustrating, A donation by credit card can be refunded immediately..

Kindrid/Give.Church has changed the way our givers contribute to our church with great ease

Kommentare: Faster, Simpler, and more Efficient record reporting.

Vorteile:

The Kindrid software has made our end of the month reconciling so much simpler with the way it syncs with so many avenues of our database system. With our organizations running all contribution records through Shelby Arena, Kindrid has made the importing and communication process very smooth between the two systems.

Nachteile:

I am not one for typing many bad reviews... But one thing that could be worked on in regards to wrapping up an end of the month giving statement. Once, you have dispersed funds for the month, there are some times where a refund may hit after the end of the month amounts have been closed causing the CSV and XML reports to not reflect the refunds or just cancel out the previous gift. We have had to manually make these corrections before importing the contributions into Shelby Arena.

Kindrid is extremely easy to use. Great customer support.

Vorteile:

Kindrid is very easy to use. Any time help is needed they respond quickly and efficiently. Text giving key words are easy to add. Settlement list of deposits is easy to understand and to export as needed.

Nachteile:

Only con, is I wish there was some type of notification when a new giver needs to be matched. I don't always remember to check and it would great to know when I needed to take care of that.

Great program for online giving

Kommentare: We are a new church that rents from another church. A few times a year we have to meet off campus. With the online option people are able to give, without us having to secure all of their tithes while off site.

Vorteile:

How easy it makes it for the church and our donors. Not just for tithes but also paying for outings and small groups. Creating designations for different things is a life saver. More and more of our people are taking advantage.

Nachteile:

If anything, that it seems to only work through text. Even if you use the button provided for your website. That is minor though.

Idiot Proof! Anybody can give on this platform.

Kommentare: Since we began using give.church our online gifts have steadily increased. We've used designations to target first time givers and it's been great. Consistent upgrades and new features are keeping us on the cutting edge of digital giving in church. Love it!

Vorteile:

Far and away the easiest user process I've ever used.

Nachteile:

I honestly have a hard time finding a problem with it. At first they didn't take ACH payments and that was my biggest issue. But they added that option.

Using Kindrid

It's very user friendly. I would definitely recommended it to everyone.

Nachteile:

You can't use spaces in your sub-categories. For example our church has categories for people to give via text such as: Student Ministry, Young Adults, etc... But when we type it via text or set it up in the admin side we have to type YoungAdults without a space.

Choosing Kindrid for text giving was a great decision!

Vorteile:

Ease of use for givers. Responsiveness of team when we need help. Constant development to make the product better.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to handle event registration or product purchases with Kindrid but totally understand it's not their focus. I just wish I could find a software that was as great as Kindrid for events and merch. :)

Super convenient and easy to use!

Vorteile:

Kindrid allows me and other members of our church to easily tithe at any time without having to remember to bring cash or a check! In society's growing reliance on technological advances, Kindrid encourages faithful giving through ease of access continued success.

Nachteile:

My only con would be the ability to generate information on the website. I am an account administrator and the church treasurer and it is slightly inconvenient to find totals for individual givers within a specific time period. I have to export the data to an excel spreadsheet in order to see totals.

This product is easy to use simply to explain to people to use and we've never had any issues with the software or the customer service has always been a pleasure to use this software.

Kindrid for Church Tithing

Kommentare: Overall, since our church has switched to using Kindrid for giving, I have had a much easier time paying and tracking those payments for my monthly and occasional donations and tithe.

Vorteile:

Kindrid makes it easy to tithe and donate to my church. It enables several categories that allow me to designate my donation to tithe, offering, missions, and other church operations. I appreciate that I can choose to pick a one-time or recurring gift. For example, I participate in both a monthly gift for our church's building project and for my tithe, I am able to change it depending on my income for the month. I appreciate the ease of using either my debit card or directly transferring from my bank account.

Nachteile:

The only downside for the software is that there is a fee for card services. As a user, you have the option to pay this fee so that the church doesn't incur those costs.

Easy steps for our church to start giving online immediately.

Vorteile:

Kindrid makes it very easy to onboard. With he texting our givers, it reminds people what exactly they are giving. Also big plus kindrid now works with planning center!

Nachteile:

I would like to see the exact date someone stopped/started automated giving. This would allow us to better forecast trends month to month.

I use it regularly to verify bank deposits. I find it quite intuitive.

Vorteile:

Provides deposit totals, allows for dozens of designations, if needed, matches donors with CCB and allows for API imports to CCB.

Give.Church is a good solution for smaller churches!

Kommentare: Our members love the option to give electronically to our church.

Vorteile:

Very easy to get started. You can select your own number and the implementation process is very easy. Easily integrates with our church management software.

Nachteile:

The fees are a little exorbitant for our needs. Plus, when we signed up, the only feature was text-to-give. We had to have other solutions for credit card processing. It's a little cumbersome having to navigate multiple softwares.

Kindrid Ease of Use

Kommentare: We had been using their services for a few months. At year-end, so the end of December and beginning of January, they held our donations. I did not realize this because I wasn't receiving other notifications, just what hit our bank. They told me they were waiting until our donations reached a certain amount before they would send us money. This made closing my books very difficult. However, they did have great customer service throughout the process.

Vorteile:

I like the functionality of the interface. It is easy to use and download reports. I have never had training navigating the system and at the same time I have never had an issue teaching myself. It is very intuitive.

Nachteile:

I am sure we do not use the software to its full extent, but I think for the price I am not sure we will. I wish the full amount of our sales came through to our bank and we saw fees later. It is slightly more difficult from an accounting perspective that I see required price hit our bank and not the amount that was intended.

We have been pleasantly surprised by how easy Kindrid is to use.

Kommentare: This was our first foray into the text-to-give world. We've been so thoroughly satisfied with Kindrid that there was no need to look any further.

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to give through Kindrid. Also the dashboard is extremely user friendly. Whenever I have a question, I log into my account and I can typically find the answer right away. On those occasions where I had a question that wasn't covered among the FAQs on the site, the Kindrid team was easily available via chat and got back to me with an answer very quickly.
