Bellwether rings my bell!

Kommentare: We love Bellwether!

Vorteile:

The navigation throughout the program and it's ease of use is extremely beneficial when preparing a requisition.

Nachteile:

The only "con" that I've experience is the time out feature. If it takes me longer than 10 minutes to prepare a requisition it will not submit and I must start over. This is very rare and I have made sure to promptly enter my items as to not encounter this set back.

Great Product and Great Customer Service

Vorteile:

It streamlined our current way of completing purchase orders and keeping track of our budget. It's great to have everything all in one program.

Nachteile:

That we could not set our purchase orders format exactly the way our Town wants it. Bellwether did everything they could to make it work though.

Purchasing Management is great/Inventory Management leaves a lot to be desired.

Vorteile:

Purchasing system is an easy way to keep the whole team on the same page. Email notifications help to stay on top of order progress.

Nachteile:

We have inventory at several locations and we were looking for a system that allowed us to manage inventory at all locations as well as track movement between locations. This system does not have those capabilities. It would be nice if you could repeat Requisitions.

Easy to use

Kommentare: So far it has been easy to use. I'm very new to the software. Keeping track of orders has been great. I have less manual procedures now.

Vorteile:

It's efficient. We now have eliminated many manual steps.

Nachteile:

I haven't found any negatives so far. I'm very new to using this software.

Great Product

Vorteile:

It is a great way to track your spending on consumables. It also allows you to create a library of frequently ordered items for easier reordering.

Nachteile:

I haven't found any reasons to dislike the product yet.

Exacore Review

Kommentare: I enjoyed working with Tammy and the Bellwether team. Very responsive and understood what we needed to work asap and it was a great support for our company.

Vorteile:

We started our company when we had almost no processes in place and Bellwether was a critical component for issuing purchase orders for our projects. We did not utilize all of the features that were available, but the software was very helpful.

Nachteile:

Our company decided to go with another ERP system rather than Bellwether for reasons related to familiarity of another system with our finance team. There was not much from a purchasing side of things that was not meeting our needs.

Long time user of user-friendly Bellwether

Kommentare: For our public library, this product is the right price and has the right functionality for us. It is fairly easy to use for an average user. On the administrative side, it is easy to figure out for the most part. Some things like reports and items entries and be a little difficult.

Vorteile:

Bellwether is simple and easy to use. It is affordable for most small businesses.

Nachteile:

The reporting function and search functions of Bellwether could use some improvement. The search function is not the easiest, and compared to other software programs on the market, I believe it could work better. The report function is clunky and has never been a key feature of Bellwether, so if your organization requires financial reports from your PO system, this is not the software for you.

Kommentare: Great! We previously used excel to for requisitioning which would need to be printed, manually signed by approver, scanned and then emailed directly to Procurement. PO's would be in an excel as well, then saved to PDF and emailed to Vendors. This cuts down on a lot of miscommunication and "lost" req's/PO's

Vorteile:

The ease for field team members to submit requisitions, on multiple devices. The ability to turn a requisition into a PO and transfer the data seamlessly. The ability to see the status of the Req's and PO's easily and quickly.

Nachteile:

The amount of clicks it requires to search something - option to short key would be great! Also, when multiple PO's are approved they come together in one PDF, even if they are for several different vendors and they have to manually be separated through adobe.

Bellwether makes our purchasing process easier.

Vorteile:

Creating requisitions and purchase orders are intuitive and easy to explain to new users. I have trained many people in Bellwether and find that the help center is great for them and a wonderful tool.

Nachteile:

I feel that the reporting process could be made much more user-friendly. Once I find the correct set up, the reporting is great, but it takes a lot of work to figure out how to get the data that I'm looking for.

Bellwether has streamlined our entire purchasing process

Kommentare: Overall it has streamlined our purchasing procedures.

Vorteile:

Easy to keep things organized from requistion to approval to ordering. When we can use punchouts, they are awesome.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to be able to upload a packing list/recipt after an item as been received in the system. Sometimes the "Receive" button gets pushed and there's no way to add a packing slip later. It's also a bit confusing at first to have the REQ numbers not match up with PO numbers - they should be different formats or something, otherwise a requisiton of 010530 might become a PO number of 010555 while a prior requisition becomes PO number 010530. It would also be handy to be able to search the list of POs for a certain vendor or item - as it is, you can sort the columns by vendor and find it that way but a search feature would be great.

Cloud PO

Kommentare: do not use this

Vorteile:

this product is easy to use and manage. As an IT Manager having this based in cloud with security and less maintenance on also managing a local server helps me get more done by not worrying about anything but logging in and using the software.

Nachteile:

No account to be able to go in and approve any PO. Super user

Kommentare: I have only six weeks with using the system.

Vorteile:

Easy to navigate, setup was very easy, generating reports was easy, and super quick response from the help desk support

Nachteile:

Still learning what those Cons are. Allow me another six weeks and I should have something for you.

Heavy Bellwether User

Kommentare: Lot's of problems are being solved. One centralized place for all purchases makes keeping track of budgets a lot easier.

Vorteile:

The User Interface is one of the best I've seen. Very easy to navigate. Very quick and snappy for being a cloud based program. Great catalog and template that make requisitions very easy to submit.

Nachteile:

Not really any large cons. Easy to use and solves a lot of problems other software have.

Review

Vorteile:

Sending internal notes to our purchaser to let her know specifics without needing it to be on the actual Purchase Order itself helps when setting up welder's to test at a lab and also for having Subcontractors com to perform work. Extra emails are not necessary because of this feature.

Nachteile:

N/A -- This program is far beyond what we were using before (excel spreadsheets) for purchasing.

Kommentare: It is helping us to get order to vendor and clients in a timely fashion that is clear and without issues.

Vorteile:

I like that creating a purchase order in the system is easy to do even if you do not know the software so well.

Nachteile:

I do not have cons to this software. I like using this software.

Easy to Use Product

Kommentare: This software has given us a streamlined approval process. It has also allowed us to monitor how much of a particular item we are purchasing and track cost increases.

Vorteile:

The requisition and purchasing pieces of this software is very easy for the end user. The administrative side is also easy to navigate. I like that the menu items could be tailor for each user group and only see what is necessary.

Nachteile:

I wish that the window size with in the program could be larger. At times the items descriptions could be difficult see.

I can coordinate orders for my team much easier with Bellwether.

Vorteile:

If I ask one of my technicians to place an order, they can do so very quickly and I can approve the order right away.

Nachteile:

As an approver I would like to get updates anytime someone on my team requests an order. I have to periodically check the site to see if any requests have been made.

The bellwether software is the best!

Vorteile:

We order from the same vendors most of the time, and bellwether stores all of their information for us so it only takes me a couple minutes to request many items.

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to see what other requisitions have been made by people at my company, rather than just my own requisitions.

REVIEW

Vorteile:

What I enjoy most about this software is how easily I can navigate throughout it.

Nachteile:

I have absolutely no negative comments to make.

Our ordering process is a lot smoother since we started using Bellwether.

Kommentare: It's much easier to use than our old software and saves me time every day.

Vorteile:

I test a lot of different materials in our lab, so I'm constantly speaking with new vendors looking for the right product. Adding vendors in Bellwether who we've never worked with is really easy.

My 2 Cents

Kommentare: I think this is a good product overall, I haven't ever used customer support and don't know how much it costs so I can't really rate those, I gave them an average. I gave Features and Functionality only 2 stars as certain fields dropping out (all the time) can be frustrating and time-consuming. I often have to re-enter the supplier name or net terms, not sure why. I also wish the catalog search feature was a little more intuitive.

Great software and Service

Kommentare: I would say this is the best PO and purchasing software I've used. It's great for any size business and I highly recommend it! Support and setup are a breeze and support staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very professional.
