Simply idiot proof and ready to deploy without too much hassle
Kommentare: We are very pleased with simplicity of it. We rarely spend time training as most users simply "get it". Its simple and fast out-of-the-box solution . We now have 4 accounts running this software
Vorteile:
I can create an event in 10 minutes , have the webpage out and create collateral. I can update anything all the way to the delegate app onsite in a few simple steps. We moved a few hundred members into the cloud which was relatively simple, and memebrs love the ease with the member app and the profile. Payment option are localized based on country I can assign navigation languages etc. I can assign a client to administer a section of the membership or a specific event.
Nachteile:
Multi currency management is not very friendly. During setup. I cannot correct some historical items Some limitations with regards to registration setup for multiple events segments such as dinners post tours that needs to be overcome
User friendly platform

The program is incredibly easy to use. I grasped it quickly without the need for extensive training sessions. It provides numerous features and options that can be tailored to suit the needs of any organization.

Kommentare: My overall experience with Glue Up has been highly positive. It’s an intuitive and comprehensive platform that streamlines event management, community building, and membership engagement.
Vorteile:
Glue Up makes it easy to create and manage both in-person and virtual events. Users can set up event pages with registration forms, ticketing options, and event details in just a few steps, which saves time and reduces the hassle of coordinating logistics.

Glue Up for a non profit membership organisation

As we get used to using Glue Up, [sensitive content hidden] always offers support and information on new developments and options for us.
Vorteile:
Glue Up has moved us from many different systems to one CRM which allows us to manage our contacts, members, financials and events in a more professional and structured way.
Nachteile:
The community pages would work so well if the members sign up to use Glue Up - I still need to see how best to entice members to sign up and manage their own membership pages and contacts to allow for networking and information sharing.

Vorteile:
The community feature has transformed how members interact and share knowledge with one another and has added huge value to the membership. The renewal system and reoccurring payments have increased our membership retention levels as it allow members to manage the renewal process with ease. The finance function is great. The campaign function is excellent. On going support from Glue Up is great - we love the access to training sessions and the contact us are for queries. Our Customer Success Manager is very responsive which has been extremely helpful. Overall, we are very happy with the product for an affordable off the shelf membership management system.
Nachteile:
The initial set up process was not seamless as members had to activate their Glue Up account in order to access the system. This generated a lot of queries which went on for a substantial length of time. Our client's needs were not understood entirely at the initial set up stage.
Great for Chambers and Business Councils
Kommentare: So far it has been great when it comes to information management, event management and membership management. When it comes to the campaigns, we have experienced issues with the lag, but otherwise, it has been a major positive change for our Chamber.
Vorteile:
The integration of Membership and ease of managing RSVPs for events (including the creation of badges) has saved us a lot of time.
Nachteile:
the number of times we have gotten "Error 404" and how often the page freezes.

Vorteile:
It streamlines event management through creative event pages, and efficient attendee check-in. The customizable database consolidates a CRM platform with an email marketing platform further enhancing convenience for organizers and participants alike.
Nachteile:
Beside Glueup’s regular down times at certain hours, its mailers also lack the customization other platforms provide. Its events page also has downsides with its limited features, especially for larger-scale events. There are also several glitches with membership renewal especially if there are open invoices. We’ve encountered invoices that were open for 2023 and saw that it was changed to 2024.

I am still working through the distinctions between "member," "membership," and "contacts." Since we had already acquired GlueUp in 2021 and someone else set up the content at that time, I now need to review each entry individually. This process is time-consuming, especially when it comes to removing individuals who should not be on the platform. So, yes, this is a significant downside.
Glue Up - An excellent tool for Association Management.
Kommentare: We previously got a company to build a customise Mobile App for our member and events management, but it was full of bugs, which made many members frustrated and upset. Ever since we switched to Glue Up, our members have enjoyed the new system, with almost no complains about it. Engagement with our members have also increased with the use of the Glue Up system. Glue Up has many of the features (and more) which we had to customised for our previous mobile app, thus using it was breeze.
Vorteile:
Glue Up has been an integral part of our association's member management and function. We love that it combines Member Management, Events Management, and Electronic Marketing, on a single platform. We also love how Glue Up is constantly seeking to improve/upgrade itself and products, whether it is user experience, new functions, or feedback on backend CRM. There's always trainings available on the new rolled-out functions, and their team is always available when you need them.
Nachteile:
All has been good so far, and they are always open to hearing our feedback to improve.

Now Sending Community campaign and Online Event is very easy through this platform. This software also useful for maintain our Membership data base. generating Invoice and payment receipt is simple through this platform.I would say it is useful for all the membership operation communication.

Privacy issues, Failed delivery and refusal to refund any of our US$34,105 - stealing from a Charity

The delays and issues piled up to the point that we had to delay our entire project by nearly a month, incurring additional costs from our website developers due to the work required to meet the Glue Up integration requirements, and then be again changes once realised that the Glue Up product was not what was originally discussed as most compatible for our user needs and membership base.
We requested to exit from our agreement, and only then were we finally contacted by Glue Up representatives from Mainland USA. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] immediately identified that the team they had us assigned to were not capable fo the task "and should never have been assigned our account". We discussed and sought to rectify the issues with further conversations, however the damage to the trust of my staff and the realised differences in discussions from sale to execution we too great, so we continued to request to exit from our agreement with the 30 days period as required.
Since this time, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] have rarely returned email let alone avoided our meeting calls. They have refused to refund any of our money, despite agreeing that there was at least US$20,000 of what we paid for not yet incurred or consumed by Glue Up in the process to date. They offered to provide a US$20,000 "Credit" to our organisation, refusing to any actual refund of our money paid up front. We are now literally held hostage, with no more replies, and no refund still. This is the way they deal with a Charity...
Vorteile:
The promises made in the sales process - that were not followed through with in the delivery, or terrible customer service. Let alone the privacy concerns and now refusal to refund for services not embarked upon or delivered. Absolutely disgusted and disappointed in this unethical and unprofessional conduct. We would never recommend Glue Up based on our experiences over these last 3 months still without resolution and now theft of our charity funds.

We are an Australian Veteran Health & Welfare support Charity. From the outset, myself & my team engaged in a very competent & supportive sales process with a representative located in Bali. We were required to pay US$34,105,000 up front prior to then being turned over to a team based in mainland China. From there we encountered a continuous stream of issues including language barriers, incomplete tasks requiring constant email chains to follow up verbal conversations that appeared to expire on completion of calls. We additionally had very real privacy concerns given we requested and were sold on a product that would be responsible for supporting our membership base of over 30,000 Australian Veterans. An integral tool in our operations
Kommentare: Event management, contact management, committee management, and member management are all being streamlined by using Glue Up. This increases our efficiency and benefits us greatly.
Vorteile:
The interface is very user-friendly, and the capabilities on offer are extensive and relevant. The simplicity of the design and the functionality make this platform stand out.The staff are also accommodating and are quick to assist us if needed.The bank of information available with tutorials on how to get the maximum out of Glue-Up is also helpful.We use this platform for the majority of our business and are continuing to look at ways to integrate furtherBy having all contact, event, registration, and campaign details in one place, we can streamline our efforts and maximise efficiency. Particularly, the ability to group our contacts into various committees that can then be integrated into event pages is helpful. The event and registration pages themselves provide extensive flexibility while remaining entirely user friendly.
Nachteile:
On rare occasions, the platform experiences some technical issues making us unable to access it. It would also benefit us to have full control over the invoice template. Currently, we cannot use this functionality due to legal requirements from Cambodia (as we must show the amount in a currency not yet accepted by Glue-Up) which is a shame.
Easy Chamber of Commerce management

I like different features: 1. Members & Membership Management (renewal process is easy and time saving) 2. Events managment: easy, simple, intuitive, time saving, customizable. 3. Finance: autogenerate invoices and can be integrate with Quickbooks 4. Database and email campaign - easy to manage and time saving
Nachteile:
I like most features and generally is very user-friendly. The APP is good to have but seems slower than accessing from the desktop. Overall there is nothing I really don't like or that is creating me a problem in managing the Chamber.
RSVP management easily with Glue Up
Vorteile:
Professionalizing our databases and event operations, such as invites, response monitoring, finances, and more, was made possible with GlueUp. GlueUp's subscription procedure is simplified and the most effective system with few costs. Members' info is well protected.
Nachteile:
Sadly, owing to our country's legal constraints, we could not access certain of the functionalities, notably the billing option. Although it is nearly difficult to discover software that will fulfill all of an organization's needs, there are several options available.
Best event management software
Vorteile:
The event management and registration functions are my favorite parts of Glueup system. It's super easy to access, and beginner-friendly to work around. The payment option includes both China-preferred Ada pay and credit card options, which makes it easy for our users with different needs. Glueup also provides great client services. Their client managers are reliable, professional and responsive, and have been my irreplaceable partners in all events.
Nachteile:
To due unexpected server challenges, Glueup system might be slow from time to time.

Simple and user friendly CRM System
Kommentare: I appreciate the customer support [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], who always in timely manner response on any given time of the day and week. He always follow up and is extremely helpful. Wish [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was the one, who had been the first project manager, so it wasnt so delayed. But [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is super competent and understand his customers.

The software is very user friendly and not complicated and perfect for event and membership management.
Nachteile:
Some features and the structure not so flexible. Still feel room for improvement to enhance the features. And many extra features is a different pricing contract.
Putting the service in 'Platform as a Service'
Kommentare: I've been working on implementing EventBank as the primary platform to organize, manage, and execute group exercise events for FitFam Shanghai - we're a very active and consistent fitness community and volunteer organization based in shanghai that organizes and runs completely free outdoor and some indoor workouts. The volume of workout 'events' that we do per week has increased drastically, and with EventBank we've been able to go from a rag-tag group of volunteers to a much more organized and efficient planning group. As a grassroots movement, this kind of tool is amazing and essential for us to be able to keep doing what we love, but do it better and better. The platform not only allows us to organize teams, plan events, and disseminate information to our community in a much more efficient and organized fashion - it's allowing us to finally put together data on how large our community actually is, who our core participants are, and their motivations for coming out to exercise with us. Our organization really emphasizes the idea and practice of community, including when deciding which partners and sponsors we choose to work with. EventBank is an excellent partner for us in that regard because of the support and technical teams behind it. We feel very strongly that we aren't simply using their platform, but that we're working with a team that is both part of and supporting our community. While the platform hasn't been without some minor bugs/issues, the responsiveness of the support and technical teams to every issue is amazing, and the speed with I'm seeing issues be responded to and resolved is superb.

Very effective platform, with more to come
Kommentare: EventBank has some excellent features that make the chamber's work much easier. Their background is with events, and their platform provides a lot of features to help make the set-up, promotion and registration easier for us and the participants. For me, the e-newsletter system stands out - it used to take us weeks to put together a new email newsletter, but now we can do it in an afternoon. It also helps us collect a lot of data about the effectiveness of campaigns. Database management has been the biggest struggle, but their customer service is very responsive and, despite some hiccups, it is now handling new memberships and renewals well. They are continuing to provide new features, and are very responsive to suggestions on how to improve their service, especially in extracting useful information from the database.

It has been a struggle to iron out the complications in the CRM, but it gets better all the time.
All in One Event management system for our community
Vorteile:
We use the platform for 35+ events a week across 2 cities and at present we manage over 4000+ members. In the last year we created over 1000+ workouts/ meetings/ social gatherings for FitFam, we would not be able to manage our community effectively without this platform. We are able to easily set up events for our community to access and register for, regardless of indoor or outdoor sessions and numbers allowed. Easy administration for efficient review, publishing, check in process. EventBank works seamlessly along side our other information platforms, giving us more visibility.
Nachteile:
We created a 'how - to - use' PDF for our community to easily use the platform as we had users downloading the managers app instead of the users app.
