TruDigital solution is far superior than it's competitors.

Vorteile:

From start to finish TruDigital has been great. We started out contacting for a demo and chose TruDigital as our digital signage vendor. Ordering the players and setting up our account was a breeze. Players are configured and already assigned to our account before they ship. Customer support is great. Once you log into TruDigital's admin portal you can start a chat and work with support right away.

Nachteile:

The only thing I could see that I would like to have changed is the ability to see and manage admin/users better. I had to submit a ticket to add additional admins. Once our environment gets larger I see this being an issue.

User Friendly Digital Solution for Multi-Location Communication

Kommentare: As a project coordinator it is nice to gather the required information, distribute it to the trudigital team and have a flawless implementation. We worked together customizing the introductory screens, preloading player content, configuring players and providing tracking information to all key team members. Training and resource material allowed for easy train the trainer scenarios, yet we could always call on tru digital to assist with one on one training. We have added four additional sites since starting with Trudigital and this will continue with our expansion.

Vorteile:

The implementation process was easy, allowing you to document and provide all pertinent information for easy assimilation of players at various locations and sites. The training support was outstanding with timely responses and assistance with questions, operational support, and resource material.

Nachteile:

Like to have more Spanish content but think this is on the horizon.

Received Survey before Equipment

Vorteile:

The concept seems good but the support is non existent.

Nachteile:

Never heard back from them once I spent the money. It took a month for equipment to get here. No one answered emails about when it was coming. Support is non existent.

truDigital is a true asset to our Company making my job less stressful!

Kommentare: Overall, the support has been exceptional, and I'm very pleased with the product, ease of use and continue to add more digital displays each year.

Vorteile:

I love remote access, multi-screen use, scheduling features and the ability to create custom slides and videos.

Nachteile:

I can't delete multiple slides or items at one time. They have to be done individually. If I'm chaining the name of a slide show or folder, it kicks me out to the main menu and I have to navigate back to the change I made.

Trudigital for Internal Usage in office

Vorteile:

I like the ability to change slides on the fly and have a variety of built-in templates for sports, quotes, weather, and more. Trudigital helps keep our office space dynamic and interesting. Also, the text-to-support feature on the website is great, and I have always had a good experience in dealing with support staff.

Nachteile:

I would like to see more custom templates, or even user-created templates. Also, the remotes you receive for setting up a new trudigital box have a very weak signal, and have to be held very close to the player to work. It would also be nice to be able to reassign players and playlists without having to bother your support staff.

Good for multi location

Kommentare: Experience has been good, the product just works and requires very little maintenance.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use for multiple displays at multiple locations. very low maintenance

Nachteile:

Pricing is a little bit high for 22 locations.

Great way to increase corporate communication

Kommentare: Training with truDigital was awesome - great personal instruction and willing to answer any questions via chat. Any issues I've had, we've resolved within 15 minutes.

Vorteile:

I love the ability to create one playlist and send it out to multiple sites. Our company has many different subsidiaries and we're able to communicate to all the sites easily

Nachteile:

The interface is a little clunky. I'm sure there are solutions with better UI, but this one still works. Just have to understand how to do it.

Near effortless implementation and administration

Kommentare: I support many products for my company and truDigital is hands down the easiest thing I maintain. I've yet to run into an issue that I wasn't able to track down quickly due to the straight-forward interface. On the rare occasion that I have ran into an issue I couldn't resolve on my own, the truDigital online support team has been able to help within literally seconds every single time. Honestly, 10/10!

Vorteile:

The title says it all, the implementation was pretty much completely hands off, we received fantastic training and the online support is by far the best I've ever experience with any product.

Nachteile:

The only thing that mildly stands out would be the lack of hands-on administration. Being able to disable/delete user accounts could be of some value, however, it has not been an issue due to the rapid response we receive from the truDigital support team.

Strong product for the right setting

Kommentare: I think in the right setting, truDigital's features are great. If I'm honest, in our setting, we could have probably just cast a slideshow (or even hardwired a spare iPad). For advertising at stadiums or something of the sort, I think the features would be fantastic. Some sites have very specific sponsor promises. truDigital's ability to build and update a playlist on the fly would be great for this. I really only plug in the weather and Twitter. LinkedIn would be a more useful feed for us.

Vorteile:

I liked the customer service. We had issues at the start because we moved locations. Sales/customer service were very helpful about fixing our invoicing and setting up the correct accounts.

Nachteile:

I felt it was a little overly complicated to learn at first. I had to watch the tutorials. It was not intuitive to go in and pick up. Partly this was my own mindset of expecting to plug in a slide show. Figuring out the playlist was not intuitive to me. I picked it up quickly after the tutorial. I would also like to see a LinkedIn integration. If there is a widget, I couldn't find it easily like Twitter.

truDigital for Internal Messaging

Kommentare: This is a very effective way for our HR department to delivery custom messages to employees across multiple facilities, on breakroom tv's, in different states for any employee benefit changes, meetings, recognition and more. We also utilize lobby TVs for important messages as employees enter into work or to welcome clients or prospects to the facility.

Vorteile:

There are many pros such as multi-user support, playlist management, content scheduling and more. Interface is easy to navigate and use with limited training. Integration into our facilities was straight foward and easy to implement.

Nachteile:

No cons come to mind, it does everything that we need it to to.

Our experience with TruDigital has been enjoyable, professional, and seamless.

Kommentare: The benefits we received from this software were broad. We placed our system in a historical museum on our campus. This allowed us to showcase relevant content throughout the school year. When we knew certain groups would be on campus, we could feature content that would be relevant to them. Aside from sharing content we also used our system to spread awareness of events that were going on at the University. Lastly, our system provided us another medium to showcase the video productions that we created throughout the year. We showcase these videos at events and on social media, and our signage system provided us another unique way to showcase these projects that we are proud of. Overall the system has allowed us to produce and display timely and relevant content to a variety of audiences on our campus.

Vorteile:

TruDigital provides a great total package. We love the cloud-based management that allows users to update content from any computer either on site or virtually. Also, the personable nature of TruDigital stands out. Our sales rep has remained in contact with us well over a year after we purchased our system. She has been a great resource for questions and ideas throughout our process. Aside from our sales rep, the support staff is excellent. Whenever we email over an issue we receive a personalized detailed response with screenshots and instructions within the hour. Overall both quality of the system and the personal nature of TruDigital stand out as what we like best about the software.

Nachteile:

At times it feels like the templates are somewhat limited. Having our system for over a year I would have liked to see more change and innovation in relation to the themes. They have changed some but I still believe there is room for improvement and creativity around developing new theme designs and features for consumers. Sometimes users do not know what they want, so you have to develop it for them. I would encourage TruDigital to consider innovative signage theme ideas that could improve the user experience even more.

First impressions

Kommentare: We use truDigital to communicate school information to our student population. We have monitors in the main office and in the Student Commons.

Vorteile:

What I like most about this software is the finished product. It looks very nice up on our monitors. I like the parts that I do not have to manipulate, like the clock, weather and holidays. I want give a to shout out to your customer assistance crew. I had a problem a while back with the display not uploading. Through an online chat, we were able to troubleshoot and get it back online.

Nachteile:

1. I do not like how the templates like the Birthday and Upcoming events make you click and type, click and type, into each box. It takes forever to fill and you can't cut and paste. If you miss one name or date, you have to wipe everything out and retype it all. I wish I could use the templates, because I like some of the animated ones, but they are not user friendly. Because of this, I have taken to creating my own slides in Powerpoint and uploading them into a TruDigital slideshow template. This is so time consuming, and when you create a Powerpoint slide, none of the animations carry over into Tru-Digital. 2. I do not like the Integration QuoteFancy template. You cannot choose a different quote each day from the same author. If you choose five quotes or 20 quotes, you will still get the same first quotes. Maybe I want quote #35 - sorry, you can't choose it. 3. What I especially don't like is that all of your content is geared mainly toward business and nothing toward education. I work in a middle school so I need content that will engage my younger audience. 4. Some of the templates look great, like the Employee of the Month template called Employee Animated2, for example. I wish I could take it and change the title to something like Turkey Trot Winner and put a student's picture in it, but there is no option to change the title. This is just one example of how the majority of your content is unusable for us.

Digital Signage for your customers and employees

Kommentare: We have needed customer support on a few occasions and when needed, they are very knowledgeable and helpful

Vorteile:

Ease of use and support. When we were trained, we couldn't believe how easy it was to navigate throughout the platform.

Nachteile:

I would like notifications of updates that were made or sent throughout the month. (Content, template updates, notifications et.)

My feedback on truDigital software

Kommentare: Functionality 7/10 - Overall, it functions well and has lots of nice features. Docking points for freezing and errors that occur when switching folders or renaming files (this occurs about every third or fourth time that the inner frame refreshes). Also docking points for how long it takes any sort of change to save. Instead of happening instantaneously, each change takes multiple seconds to save. Add that up over multiple changes and it can nearly double the time it should take to update slides. Customizability 3/10 - Outside of creating custom templates (which I'm guessing not many customers do), the preexisting templates leave a lot to be desired. Customer Service 10/10 - Customer service has been very helpful, going above and beyond to help make this product work for our needs. User Roles 3/10 - As a multi-level organization, we need to create user hierarchy (some users having more oversight than others). This software is lacking user roles to do so. The closest thing was one user having access to SlipStream, and creating folders underneath that section to "hide" them from other users. User-Friendliness 6/10

Vorteile:

Customer service has been very helpful, going above and beyond to help make this product work for our needs.

Nachteile:

The inability to create custom templates, or really alter any of the existing templates beyond changing the text. All of the templates would be much more useful if you could hide/show all sections, change all backgrounds, all color blocks, all text styles, etc. to fit your own organizational or personal brand. As a national brand, we have stricter standards than most, but today most people promoting anything at all have a look and feel that they've already predefined for their product or service. Allowing your customers to mimic that look and feel through more customizable templates is an addition that would greatly improve your service.

TruDigital Review

Kommentare: I am so-so on the TruDigital product. Is there something else out there that would better serve our needs or be a bit easier to use/quicker-yes but currently we do not have the time to search for such software.

Vorteile:

I like the online portal as it is easily accessible no matter where I am working for the day. Also the fact that we can place an ad on our TVs within seconds (sometimes minutes).

Nachteile:

The time it takes to upload new slides, navigate between players as we have 7-8 and most in different cities. Basically-anything we have to do via the website (which is nearly everything) is super slow, delayed, and quite frustrating.

Technipaq HR Review

Kommentare: I am just a user (in the HR dept) and was not involved in the purchase of the product nor do I get involved with troubleshooting or anything else. Overall, I don't like using posting to it myself because it is cumbersome to get the slides saved in the system and on the screens so I send my slides to the IT department to complete that task. That is not the most efficient and effective way of handling and I would just do them myself if it weren't such a pain. So, it gets the job done, but not in a very convenient manner.

Vorteile:

The product does what we need it to do by allowing us to post information on monitors throughout our facility for employee communication purposes.

Nachteile:

I find it very cumbersome to use.....and not very intuitive or easy to navigate.

Exchange

Kommentare: A little glitchy being able to change the start and stop dates, and the setup isn’t very user friendly but once you learn it, it makes sense for the most part.

Vorteile:

good design displays and able to change on a regular and daily basis when needed

Nachteile:

I don't use it on a regular basis, but my lifestyle coordinator manages the platform

Kommentare: We've enjoyed our experience with TruDigital thus far and look forward to utilizing more of their templates and user enhancements in the future.

Vorteile:

Uploading or creating content directly on the TruDigial platform is very user friendly. TruDigital makes managing playlists and finding templates easy. Being able to add a logo or edit content on pre-designed templates saves a lot of time and looks great. Monthly newsletters with updates and newly released templates are a great way to keep up-to-date on what new options you may be able to utilize.

Nachteile:

No real cons in our user experience thus far. I only wish our company had more of a web presence so that we could utilize more of the social media / review options. As a Utah based company, we'd love to see a template for a daily snow report of the local ski resorts.

Great Software

Kommentare: Our display is clean and simple, which is how our brand likes us to display our advertising. truDigital is easy to use.

Vorteile:

I like the clean look, ease of use and features provided by truDigital.

Nachteile:

It was interesting that I needed to go outside of the software to create slides in Google Slides. At first I thought this was a hassle, however, since then I've mastered the process. It's not bad. One thing I'm disappointed in is that the YMCA font is Cachet and Cachet is not available in Google Slides. We lose our look a bit by not using it.

Player Downtime

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use. Support team very helpful in learning the system.

Nachteile:

The players seem to go offline quite a bit. Rebooting doesn't seem to help the issue. But that's what we're always told to do. We've got a player that's gone offline at least 3 times this year. I'm not sure at what point a new player is recommended?

Easy to use

Vorteile:

Software has a lot of useful features that make getting notifications to associates quick and easy. We can display production schedules and announcements quickly and beautifully.

Nachteile:

To many clicks to edit and save. Would like to have 1 button where I can just save instead of having to click twice. Would like to have the pages load a little faster

Seems more complicated than it has to be

Vorteile:

Screens looked good once completed. We were able to keep slides and schedule them pretty easily

Nachteile:

No choice of fonts, text color, and few choices of text size . updating menu on the fly is difficult, waiting 5 minutes or more for a system refresh. Seems like a lot of extra steps involved. All we want to do is write a menu for the day and post it.
