Convene is significant for online meetings

Vorteile:

It is easy to organize online meeting and create group convention ID. This platform has reduced cost of arranging physical meeting and enhanced effective decision-making. It has automated reminders for reminding members on the actual meeting dates and venue.

Nachteile:

There has been positive transformation from traditional meeting presentation to digital paperless system.

Our Experience of Convene

Kommentare: We introduced Convene in June 2019. Users quickly became familiar with the software. The value of this investment really showed when we were forced into office closures with the onset of the Covid Pandemic in March 2020. Our business decision making was able to continue and function effectively due to the flexibility available through use of Convene.
The biggest benefits are: savings in paper and print costs, saving in time spent producing and circulating meeting packs, ease of access to document library and previous meeting packs.

Vorteile:

It was easy to implement and simple to learn how to use. We introduced Convene initially to improve the efficiency of non-executive Board & Committee meetings. Very soon after implementation the Governance team identified more areas for using the software and it is now used for multiple internal management & working group meetings / information sharing.

Nachteile:

Nothing really. If we have had any problems, the service team have been very helpful.

User Interface.

Kommentare: My overall experience has been fantastic.

Vorteile:

It interface is user friendly making it easier to navigate.

Nachteile:

The app sometimes lags during video calls.

Convene - Easy to use and good value

Kommentare: Convene saves having to make up paper board packs and is easier to distribute the papers with the click of a button and most importantly securely. I can also see who has downloaded their papers.

Vorteile:

There are some really good features such as review room which we now use instead of Sharepoint which was more difficult to use. Convene is intuitive and meeting packs can be created quickly without having to convert papers to pdfs as the system does it easily. We also have single sign-on so its easy to access.

Nachteile:

The only downside is it probably dosen't look as polished as some of the more expensive competition but it does the job and is much easier to use than some of the better known competition and there ares ome really good features and tools included

Easy to understand and use

Kommentare: I very much appreciate how Azeus Convene went out of its way to help us in procuring their product. Government requirements are very tedious for a foreign company joining our bidding but they complied.
Their support was also very helpful by providing training and presentations during the product evaluation.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use, secure and not as pricey as its competitors. The reduced time to prepare and send out folios to the intended recipients were major factors in deciding to use this software. We are also excited about the new features being introduced to improve the software. Price

Nachteile:

I would like the software to have OCR capabilities so that documents scanned and uploaded can be annotated.

Transitioning to Digital Meetings with Convene has been helpful

Kommentare: Convene has helped us save a lot of time

Vorteile:

Organizing meetings has been easier with the Agenda Builder of Convene. Letting people review and sign off on important documents has also been more efficient with the help of Convene. The software is also easy to use, you just need spend a little time to familiarize and learn how to use it.

Nachteile:

We just have a hard time following updates, and I wish we can customize the survey.

Convene for charity board meeting and decision management

Kommentare: Very good, and very happy to be using it with our CEO and eleven trustees.

Vorteile:

it's so easy to set and order agendas and manipulate meeting papers

Nachteile:

I am working on the minutes template to minimise the work of writing up minutes after meetings

More modernity and better performance.

Kommentare: It can be used both on the computer and on the phone, it offers modern possibilities and a modern layout, I really liked it. My experience was very interesting.

Vorteile:

I have already used the service in a company and I really liked it, it was very easy and met all expectations. Unlike other services, it seems to be even more professional and with more functions.

Nachteile:

I have nothing to complain about, like any other software it needs fast internet, otherwise there are some delays and it becomes a bit difficult.

Good product, great customer support

Kommentare: The customer support is excellent! Quick response, quick resolution.

Vorteile:

Convene is a good product. We probably only use a small amount of the functionality but it works really well and is simple to learn.

Nachteile:

Nothing. It's a great product. We should use more of the features.

Real Time Presentation and Meeting Tool

Kommentare: It is easy to create and manage meeting through portal. It saves my time and allow me to do my work effortlessly.

Azeus Convene is a simple, secure and collaboration tool for meeting and real time presentation. It ensure as a team, we all be on the same page.

Nachteile:

Convene is equipped with features that make my work easier. No issues so far.

Made my work easy!

Vorteile:

Convene has been part of my work routine. It has been a great tool in helping me make my transactions smooth and trouble free. Online meeting and discussions with my team even we have different time and priorities was made possible. With the help of Convene, team projects are done right away!

Nachteile:

As a beginner, I haven't encountered any trouble navigating or using the software. It was a 10/10 experience for me.

Azeus Convene

Kommentare: The Board have access to all relevant documents without them requiring access to confidential drives on personal PC's.

Vorteile:

We found the product very easy to use, we have Board members with varying levels of IT ability and found they have all been able to navigate the system quite easily.

Nachteile:

The only downside to this product that we have encountered is having to ensure Excel documents are visible in print preview so that Board members can fully view them. This seems to be true of all the similar software products we reviewed.

Implementing and using Convene has proved a huge success with colleagues and Board members.

Kommentare: We save so much time. Using Adobe to collate the papers used to not only take ages but would often not work.
The management of written resolutions outside of meetings is much easier.

Vorteile:

It was quick and easy to implement. The software itself is intuitive to use and even the least tech savvy Board Members have found it straightforward and easy to use. We haven't used all the functionality (Board Members are yet to use the 'presenting' function) but the meeting, document library and resolution functions adequately meet our needs. The pulling together of the Board papers is a quicker and less stressful experience than it was previously and with improved security as we're not emailing round pdfs to various email addresses.

Nachteile:

Having used two similar products, I really struggle to find a fault with Convene, as it generally provides the same functionality more efficiently and for a lower cost. It would be helpful to be able to hyperlink between documents within the document library but unsure if this is just something that isn't possible with cloud based software. Probably the biggest fault, based on the feedback from our Board is...why didn't we get it sooner!

Review on Convene

Kommentare: The overall experience is good and board members are relatively okay with the product.

Vorteile:

1) The flexibility to configure the security settings to suit to organisation's policy 2) Ease to create user accounts rapidly 3) Ease to create meetings quickly and upload presentation documents

Nachteile:

1) Lack of Video/Audio functionality. Meetings have to be conducted concurrently with a video conferencing tool. 2) The Device Registration for 2FA is quite troublesome, especially when users cannot remember which is the first device or which devices has been registered

Board Software

Kommentare: The move to Azeus Convene has save us money in printing as we were printing board packs of 200 or more pages. It saved on postage and any damage of papers during the delivery to the user in the post.

Vorteile:

This software is web based, so it allows to continue working through any crisis. It has a library for one stop shop information It is easy for administrator to use and you can ensure that those who should not see private documents in a board pack can easily be switched off from accessing them by the click of a button. It is very user friendly and self explanatory. Training was provided by friendly staff to the administrator and user making it easy to integrate into the College

Nachteile:

The one feature that could be improved is the minute taking facility. It should have an option to be drafted in an accessible format to meet with the Accessibility Regulations, which the College must comply with when uploading documents to our website.

Convene provides an easily accessible and secure platform to help us manage our board and committee meetings. The platform security and the ability to set access permissions on an individual and group level is particularly important to us in order to maintain data security in relation to confidential and sensitive information. User support from convene is always quick and helpful

Kommentare: Meeting papers for my directors are accessible and delivered within the time frame.

Vorteile:

To me the features where you can just drag your documents from your desktop to be uploaded is definitely the best as it helps me to save time and makes my life easier.

Nachteile:

I think maybe convene should enable someone who had just been added to the software/apps to access all the past papers or documents that has been uploaded previously.

Rich features and intuitive. Saves you at least 40% compared to BoardVantage and Diligent

Kommentare: Being President at SELC Pro LLC, as part of my consulting, I was sometimes asked to give recommendations to nonprofits and medium-level companies on what board portal provider would be the best for their internal and strategic operations. I had tried many paperless meeting software providers, from the market leaders like Diligent and BoardVantage MeetX, the small players like BoardPaq, and to the midlevel players like BoardPad, BoardEffect, and Azeus Convene... Don't go for BoardPaq and BoardPad! They have lousy features and lousier support. BoardEffect is so-so. Diligent and BoardVantage is good, as long as you have money to burn. The only clear and concrete advantage that Diligent has over Convene is that they have unlimited individual user training. But Convene is so intuitive and easy-to-use that you don't need to go beyond their free first 4 user/administrator training sessions. Convene is a hidden gem. It has as rich features and aesthetics as BoardVantage and Diligent, while costing at least 40% less! It's a clear winner for those who are practical. You have no idea how much it means for nonprofits, charities, and value-conscious companies and organizations to have a solution as good, yet as reachable, as Convene.

There was no video feature built-in in the initial stage which caused a bit disruption during the Covid 19 period

Azeus Convene User Friendly

Kommentare: I just hope it will be more affordable so that the company can save.

Vorteile:

Convene is easy to navigate. I learned about it when I once substituted the Corporate Secretary in the Board Meeting. The software make remote meetings possible. The staff are also very accommodating.

Nachteile:

I just hope that the voting features be more easier to learn for first time users.

User friendly software

Kommentare: Invaluable!

Vorteile:

The software is very user friendly, both as an administrator and as a first time user and available on any device. I particularly like the built in video conference facility, which has been invaluable for our virtual meetings during the social restrictions. The support team are also great!

Nachteile:

It meets our needs, so I don't believe I can add anything here.

Easy and intuitive to use, does everything we need

Kommentare: Security for our board information, control over users, a single place for all of the information and and easy to use system which is cost effective.

Vorteile:

The software has clearly set out sections, is easy and intuitive to use, has very informative user guides and excellent customer support.

Nachteile:

This software doesn't do as much as as some of the other similar products out there. But it does enough (and in some cases more) that we need.

Effective and easy to use

Kommentare: Easy to use and powrful functions. The "Back Office" interface is very flexible and make putting a meeting "Pack" together really quick and straightforward. Convene works across a number of platforms making it ideal for BYOD. We have found customer service to have been very responsive and helpful in adapting the software in response to our feedback. Users need little training as it is very intuitative.
Only niggles are that the sign out "button" isn't obvious in the App and that if you don't sign out after downloading the "Pack" before going offline, or if you lose connection, then you have difficulties logging in again. Fix this and it it would be five star.
