Easy hiring tool for all employees to use.
Great tool in general - room to improve .. to make it more user friendly and intuitive

Ich arbeite jetzt schon seit über 6 Jahre mit der Software. Es hat sich einiges getan und es ist generell ein gutes Tool. Allerdings für Manager, die nicht täglich damit arbeiten, ist es oft nicht super Customer Friendly. Es ist nicht wirklich intuitiv gestaltet.
Self scheduling etc. ist super hilfreich im daily business.
Vorteile:
Das Arbeiten mit dem Dashboard macht das Review von Kandidaten einfacher. Hier hat man alle Details, Application Questions und CV in einem Fenster. Man kann die Bewerbungsprozess gut customizen.
Nachteile:
Das neue Interface hat seine Vor-und Nachteile. ABER - was könnte geändert werden: Es ist für viele Hiring Manager schwer, die wichtigen Details auf den ersten Blick zu finden. Application Questions muss man immer separat anklicken, damit sie komplett angezeigt werden. Hier sind wichtige Infos enthalten, wie Wohnort, Salary Expectations und Visa etc. Zusätzlich steht jetzt nicht mehr im Profil Überblick direkt "Resume" zum anklicken - hat sich wieder durch ein Icon ersetzt. Beim Offer Making wäre es super, wenn man nicht nur ein Dokument anklicken kann, um es an Kandidaten rauszuschicken. Wenn ein Dokument in einem anderen Ordner auf dem PC abgelegt ist, ist es nicht möglich meherer Anhänge zu machen. Es muss immer alles in einem Ordner hinterlegt sein, um mehrere Dokumente anzuklicken und anzuhängen. Zusätzlich wäre es besser, wenn man auch eine Schnittstelle zu Google Workspace hätte und nicht nur Microsoft. Die Anbindung an Karrierewebsiten ist sehr schwer. Zusätzlich ist das Layout der Greenhouse Job Seite selber nicht schön. Hierzu braucht man immer ein Development Team, um etwas zu ändern. Hier wäre es schöner, wenn es gewisse Layout Bausteine gäbe, die das Recruiting /HR Team selbst nutzen kann, um die Seite mehr an das Branding der Firma anzulehnen.
In Betracht gezogene Alternativen: Personio
Gründe für den Wechsel zu Greenhouse: Kosten der Software waren noch etwas niedriger als bei Personio. Zusätzlich hatte ich schon in der vorherigen Company mit Greenhouse gearbeitet.
Gute Basis, hat noch Luft nach oben was Usability angeht

Am besten gefällt mir die kollaborativen Ansätze zum gemeinsamen Ausfüllen von Bewertungen vor/nach der Gespräche
Nachteile:
Manchmal kommt man durcheinander wo man welche Notiz mit Tag gelassen hat, weil es einen Funnel gibt und eine gesamte Liste
Great ATS for scaling and large companies.
Kommentare: Overall it's been great. One of the better ATS's out there and definitely worth the investment. Great integrations and generally really easy to use. There are some opportunities, but I see them working on these constantly.
Vorteile:
The ease of access, continuous improvements, and integrations are all great
Nachteile:
The reporting functions can definitely be improved upon, but I am seeing some improvements thus far.
Greenhouse is great for SMB and growing organizations
Kommentare: Overall like GH, it is easy to set up and configure. There are also nice reporting features that you can pull directly out of there for data and business decision making.
Vorteile:
It is easy for the end user to navigate also nice reports
Nachteile:
I wish you could see when interviews are confirmed and there was a better way to manage positions for workforce managment

All in one recruitment software requires patience
Kommentare: Does the job once you get the hang of it, a bit of a learning curve and set up.
Vorteile:
The calendar and google meets integration.
Nachteile:
A bit overwhelming with the amount of features maybe less would be easier to use and understand
Great for basics and most companies. If complex, need to scale beyond Greenhouse.
Kommentare: Overall good for getting things set up. If building out end-to-end process, most of the config for me has been done off platform.
Vorteile:
Covers the basics, allows lots of on platform customization.
Nachteile:
Very limited in the on-platform customization. No conditional logic on forms or fields (only department/location). Creates a reliance on third-party platform to solve processes that involve more than a linear progression. API docs are outdated and unreliable. Some functionality is limited and relies on a fixed flow (the take-home test/form should extend beyond the scope it's in) Sandbox account should be much more friendly to acquire. Testing in production is disruptive, but must upgrade to highest pricing tier to get a sandbox (most other HR SaaS tools we work with seem to have alternatives)

The platform for those who do not need to rely on AI
Kommentare: The experience has been a 10/10. I love being able to attend their office hours if I have a new or innovative question.
Vorteile:
I love that GH is actively making a product that lets TA personnel use their craft as opposed to relying on AI. There are so many helpful features that mitigate bias, and we find it easy to help share and use this platform with our hiring managers
Nachteile:
Greenhouse continues to be innovative, but not at the same rate as other companies. This is not a true negative, but they are always willing to help find a solution.
Greenhouse! Reliable and friendly!
Kommentare: Love everything about Greenhouse but I am still getting use to the new visual layout of it! I am a fan of the older one!

Greenhouse - Improve hiring team debriefs and reduce need for paper
Kommentare: Really happy with Greenhouse, and I like that they continue to innovate year over year.
Vorteile:
Greenhouse really allowed our hiring teams to have more effective debriefs and limit the need for paper during the interview process.
Nachteile:
Integration with outlook for scheduling is a challenge. Would like an easier process to disposition a requisition. Reporting on stages of a requisition could be better.
Greenhouse Review
Kommentare: Overall, I've been using the platform for a few years and I appreciate how convenient it is. It's also easy to teach those who are unfamiliar. I initially struggled with the new profile set up but have come to really like it. I'd recommend Greenhouse overall.
Vorteile:
It is user friendly and easy to navigate even for those unfamiliar with the system.
Nachteile:
I wish there was a way to send interview invites directly from Greenhouse, especially onsite interviews. It would b e nice if it was more seamlessly integrated with Zoom so that it could generate zoom links and be shared that way. It would also be nice if there was a way to create multiple interview pipelines and interviews for one job for cases where there might be more than one hiring manager and team EG: multiple headcount
User friendly ATS!
Kommentare: My overall experience with GH has been a positive one. I do wish the reporting was better. An easy way to pull a recruiter specific report where I can see how many interviews my team has done in a week, for example, would be great.
Vorteile:
It's very easy to use. The scorecards are by far a favorite feature!
Nachteile:
The new changes and the reporting. My team really loves the legacy view and has not wanted to switch to the new version. For reports, it would be amazing if there were an easy way to pull a recruiter specific report where I can see how many interviews my team has done in a week, for example, would be great.
Recruiting Operations Manager
Kommentare: Overall very good. And more recently I feel they have listened to the customer and made some good product updates such as Talent Rediscovery.
Vorteile:
Great support and chat bot when you need to update something from the admin side. To be honest the person on the team that was more our Greenhouse expert has left and I am now in the tool alot more and overall I find it not as difficult as I expected.
Nachteile:
Its not super intuitive at times in regards to the configure settings. Its not a problem though because the chat bot and support has always been extremely helpful.
One of the most robust and easy to use ATS systems available on the market

Vorteile:
The system's user-friendly nature simplifies applicant tracking, allowing for tailor-made adjustments to the ATS to suit your company's workflow. The customer service is attentive, always ready to tackle queries and offer swift resolutions. Plus, their reporting capabilities are top-notch!
Nachteile:
One hiccup is document compatibility; Word files and job descriptions sometimes don't translate well, nudging you to tweak the font sizes for consistency

It was a steep learning curve as the system has a lot of features.
Greenhouse is great for managing applications!
Kommentare: Greenhouse is an essential part of the recruiting process. From keeping our pipelines healthy, dispositioning candidates in a timely fashion, and all other important functions, Greenhouse helps us grow!
Vorteile:
Greenhouse has a bit of a learning curve. This is NOT to say that it's difficult to use, but to say that it has many features that take time to educate the teams on. I like how you can extensively see user history and merge candidate profiles.
Nachteile:
The scheduling feature leaves some things to be desired. With other apps like GoodTime you get better interviewer data that allows you to identify trends that optimize the interview process.

Best in Class ATS
Kommentare: From a Recruiter standpoint, Greenhouse has everything I need and made my job easy. I love how easy it is to schedule I love how easy it is to move candidates through the interview stages. How easy it is to send disposition emails and that they come from a do not reply email. It's easy to fill out and view feedback and interactions with the candidate.
Vorteile:
Scheduling Tool. Easy of adding, editing and reviewing feedback. Ease of posting jobs, reviewing old requisitions. Ease of adding screening questions and knockout questions.
Nachteile:
Lots of screens to click through. Can be a bit confusing where to find what you need, especially when opening a job. Reporting is complicated.
Good ATS for any team
Kommentare: Overall, I think it's a great ATS. Super easy to use, has a great rundown of features.
Vorteile:
- user interface - ease of use - very intuitive
Nachteile:
- lack of easy automation - lack of sourcing within the ats - there are a few sections that can be organised better in terms of ux/ui - the extension for linkedin sourcing hardly ever works
Comprehensive ATS
Vorteile:
Greenhouse was a comprehensive ATS that had everything we needed from job postings and job boards, tracking applicants through the hiring process, scheduling interviews, gathering feedback and sending offers. Greenhouse also had a lot of integrations with other tools (like BambooHR).
Nachteile:
Greenhouse is on the pricier side compared to other ATS's. Would only consider if there was high recruiting volume. At the time I used Greenhouse their HRIS integration (we used BambooHR) wasn't super helpful - it only transferred a few things like the candidate's name, but we still had to input a lot manually. Not sure if this has changed by now.
Onboarding Platform
Kommentare: Pleasant experience with Greenhouse. We used this as an onboarding platform to track new and ongoing open job opportunities and manage our referees and interview steps. We use this as well to manage onboarding documents.
Vorteile:
1. Helps to easily track and manage referrals. The interview process becomes transparent to track the flow. 2. Very attractive UI and user-friendly working dashboard. 3. Chat feature is one of the best things for immediate support and access.
Nachteile:
1. The major missing is AI functionalities now. 2. Very limited customization is available on the platform either in reporting or dashboard. 3. We faced multiple issues with the integration of greenhouse and outlook

It has been the best ATS that I have used even though I used it 5 years ago and I am pretty sure they have had a lot of upgrades in User Experience.
Nachteile:
reporting and analytics aspect as it was a little messy.

However, overall, this is a ATS software that is widely used and people generally have positive experiences so it remains a popular choice for recruiters and HR professionals.
Vorteile:
I like the notes section that is available to add on candidate profiles. This helps while screening the candidates and keeping valuable information for other team members in the recruitment process.
Nachteile:
Sometimes there are too many options and buttons on the ATS that makes it quite difficult to learn. Reporting capabilities could be better as well. Some teams may spend too much time learning the ATS instead of recruiting on the tool. There are limited customization options and integration issues which can cause problems with data consistency
Sturdy ATS Software
Kommentare: I enjoy Greenhouse. It is great for basic hiring needs and I like the integrations that are supported which enable a full lifecycle recruiting.
Vorteile:
I love that we can manage candidates and job postings. It is simple to set up and then track your candidates per role.
Nachteile:
The reporting functionalities can be more robust and customizable. I dislike that we cannot use Greenhouse for sourcing and campaigning and that we have to rely on external software to do this.
