Best ATS for recruiting firms!

Kommentare: I couldn't be more happy with the transition to Crelate from our previous product. Their team truly understands the problems we are trying to solve and is extremely responsive. Their feature set continues to increase rapidly and is always very relevant.

Vorteile:

Several items: - ease of configuration and customization - profile parsing from LinkedIn - job board management / website integration - email sync and candidate communication management - analytics - speed and relevance of new feature release - extensive help resources, training videos, etc.

Nachteile:

- exporting data is not straightforward and requires additional vendor developer cost -

Amazing product, support and onboarding needs improvement

Kommentare: Like any software, it takes some time to figure out but it is very intuitive and well-organized. Some things with it are surprisingly not great, like the font and spacing when you send emails from within crelate. The onboarding was as bare bones as it gets, other companies do a 1000 times better with their onboarding and account management/customer support. I think Crelate knows that their product is better so they bank on that. It seems like they are trying to get better with the customer experience. If they could perfect the customer support and onboarding side of the business it would be a home run, no one would be able to come for them.
They charge you to get the support that you need so you should evaluate that with the price. There are a lot of upcharges for functionality which some make sense and some seem like a stretch.
You will NEVER be able to get a person on the phone and the bot system they use will test your patience to say the least. Again the product itself is excellent though.

Vorteile:

The functionality of the software itself is excellent. Very intuitive and clean.

Nachteile:

Onboarding and customer support (its getting better but definitely is the biggest challenge in their business model)

It's ok, but it isn't great

Kommentare: Their US based support is pretty good. My encounter with offshore support wasn't. Certain things that should be part of the base package are not such as email journaling across multiple domains.

Vorteile:

Visually appealing. Pretty easy to use. Support is decent. It especially helps if you send a video so they can see what you're seeing.

Nachteile:

Seems like they try to nickel and dime you for everything. As recruiting has evolved, you would think things that should be part of their base package would be there. Instead, they want you to upgrade to a higher level offer to get those things even thought they raise their price every year. If you import records via csv you can only import 100 records per worksheet and 1,000 records per workbook at one time. There is also a limit on the number of records you can export from the database at one time.

Kommentare: I actually had a pleasant experience with Crelate. It was easy to use, we liked the interface and they offer excellent customer service/support. Anytime we had an issue, they would resolve it in a reasonable amount of time.

We converted from Crelate to LOXO because Crelate didn't have a proprietary internal database of candidates and LOXO did.

Kommentare: Excellent. If I had questions or problems, customer service was A+ I really like the product and it's served me well for my needs.

Vorteile:

I like the functionality of being able to create a solid recruiting process. Once I was able to learn the functionality, it was easy to create and do.

Nachteile:

There is a LOT to learn. Some functionality took a while to learn and there are some parts of the system I don't use as I don't understand how to efficiently use them for my business. Others can probably tailor it to their needs.

Kommentare: I have used Crelate for 10+ years. I know there is more I can get out of Crelate but haven't used it to the fullest because backend set up can be confusing. I'm content with the level of complexity I get out of it.

Vorteile:

It's a clean interface with an efficient workflow. The search features are robust, and tools like emailing and texting integrate seamlessly within the product. I also like how companies, positions, and contacts are interconnected.

Nachteile:

They need to improve the workflow and usability to better support recruiters, account managers, and salespeople. Not that is bad but just needs updating.

A Great Product in the Making

Kommentare: My overall impression of Crelate is that its a very ambitious and powerful potential tool that is still in its early phases of trying to be everything it wants to be. I see the vision for how it is completely set apart from other systems, and am fully on board with where it's going.However, as I've mentioned, we've recognized a steady occurrence of bugs or design implementations that often set us back in what we're trying to accomplish in our day to day efforts. Have voiced many of these either to our account manager (when important enough) or via the feedback boards to try to gain movement on them, but understandably, can only implement so much at once, and we are just one of many clients.

Vorteile:

Crelate offers us, as an Executive Recruiting Firm, the ability to stand out in what and how we present to our clients. The customizability of the workflows, reporting, and process implementation are unlike any other system we've worked with or demoed in the past, and I have a lot of confidence that this will set us apart in the future.

Nachteile:

In our (roughly) 1 year on the product, despite steady improvements and feature rollouts, there seems to be just a few pieces missing that would really accelerate the ease of use of the product on a basic user level. Things like searching would be much easier if we were able to have default search templates, for example. Or when we go to do certain searches, we notice a search parameter doesn't work quite the way we want, or can't quite do exactly what we intended it to do. Sequencing and reporting features are wonderful ideas that just have small executional problems that create small but frustrating holes in what you're trying to accomplish. For example a lot is tracked in reporting around leads, but we discovered a small problem where Leads (due to converting into Jobs at certain stage changes) can't be put into the same "Cancelled" sales stages as jobs. So to get around it we create additional "Lead Closed" stages that bog down the options for sales stages, when the ideal option would be to just have a single "Closed" or "Cancelled" stage for all Leads and Jobs that doesn't convert anything.It almost seems that in the ambition to be good at 100 things at once, there end up being few features of the system that aren't really fleshed out to factor in as many case scenarios as you'd like.I feel like it will get there, but as it stands, I see areas where the product is suffering from either bugs or small design implementations that disadvantage the day to day recruiter.

Great for Track Perm and Contract Hires

Kommentare: Overall Crelate has addressed all of our hiring needs as an applicant tracking platform and I recommend other staffing agencies to use it.

Vorteile:

I like Crelate applicant tracking because I can manage tracking temporary staff as well as perm staff in comparison to other systems. In addition, Crelate has so many onboarding features included with a CRM. It's really a one stop shop. They also have a way to send out bulk email campaigns and text messaging to candidates and clients. Customer service is always available to assist and they provide weekly ongoing training to ensure users are getting acclimated with the system. Highly recommend

Nachteile:

The system is not as seamless as other systems. I believe they can improve on the email campaign feature, and making the system less complicated to move candidates along in the hiring process. But overall I really love using the product.

Crelate Review --- Need better search options

Kommentare: Overall my experience has been good but merging multiple records isn't always easy, limits on # of emails sent daily through campaigns is hindering and search options are confusion -leading to contacting same candidates over and over unintentionally.

Vorteile:

I like that I can easily pull in resumes from places like indeed and LinkedIn. I like the ability to send campaigns and text from candidate profile.

Nachteile:

I don't like that there are so many ways to search for candidates, almost always resulting in different results. It's also hard to not contact someone already recently contacted. Not sure if I should use -- last reach out date or last activity date. I also don't like that between 3 recruiters we can only send a total of 2000 emails via campaigns.

Overall look and use of Crelate. Everyone in our office can easily access it and can use it.

Nachteile:

Uploading lists of new candidate names to Crelate - duplicate names!! Adding duplicate candidate names is very time consuming. There must be an easier way to add someone to a job search who is already in Crelate (as a list, not individually).

Great Recruiting CRM

Ease of use and easy to train new people. Lots of functionality. The support is usually easy to access and when you need an actual person to interact with it's pretty easy and the team has been good to work with

Nachteile:

Emailing candidates/clients within Crelate is still way too clunky regarding formatting. It actually has driven me crazy over the years. I have stopped sending out anything other than a simple email through Crelate--nothing that would need any sort of simple formatting. Everything else is just easier for me to send through Outlook and then Bcc back into Crelate

Best bang for your buck

Vorteile:

It is a relatively inexpensive site that is easy to use, allows for integration with LinkedIn, and they are constantly adding new features. We can also integrate with RingCentral for calling and texting as well as Outlook for tracking emails sent. The LinkedIn extension allows for parsing contacts into the database as well. Training and customer support is outstanding!

Nachteile:

Nothing. We have had other ATS systems and this one seems like it is definitely catered to staffing agencies much more than others.

Kommentare: Not bad. I've used Follow Up Boss and found it to be more robust and easier to use (albeit overwelling with it's functionality)

Vorteile:

The new email tracking feature to see if a candidate has read an email.

Nachteile:

- Unprofessional looking emails to candidates with terrible line spacing- Bulk emails: can't track if they've been opened by candidates- When I have an issue and Help sends me a link. I don't have time to go and research my problem.

Crelate is Awesome!

Vorteile:

What is there not to love? Crelate is super intuitive and customizable. I love how everything can as zoomed out or zoomed into the details as you want. The job postings are super quick and easy, and really help with our passive sourcing.

Nachteile:

I haven't really found many areas where I feel Crelate is lacking. One issue I have occasionally is the Crelate extension will stop working out of nowhere and the only way I've found to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall the extension. This doesn't happen that often though and isn't too hard of a workaround fix.
