Streamtime a great agency tool to get things done quickly

Kommentare: Streamtime is an agency job management toll that anyone that can pick up and start using immediately. We wanted to spend less time 'managing the management system' and simply get on with it.
Streamtime has a nice and simple interface which is pleasant to use, and the constant improvements​ are a bonus.

Vorteile:

We like the overall simplicity and no-nonsense approach. Previously we tried many other alternatives including the big names such as workflow max. All of these platforms, while powerful, are incredibly bloated and a real pain to get anything done quickly. Streamtime customer support and attention to improving the platform are second-to-none.

Nachteile:

Nothing really, You could always want some extra features in particular situations - but that is always the case and often leads to Bloatware so we're pretty happy with it as it. Perhaps a really large agency would need more bells and whistles, but we're super happy.

The use as an account manager

Kommentare: It is a great tool for teams, easy to use and you are able to track the process from start to end.

Vorteile:

It is easy to create new jobs, schedule team members and review project timings. Generating quotes and invoices its easy but still is missing features

Nachteile:

Invoicing and quoting - currently, it is not possible to spit the quote in different invoices i.e I want to set up a project to be paid 50% at the start and 50% upon completion. Currently, I have to divide each item depending on how much it is to be charged Gantt Chart - Ability to create a project timeline and share with clients directly from Streamtime would be awesome

Streamtime - a must for solos and teams

Vorteile:

The customer success team are a dream to work with and assist with the setup and ongoings of working with the software. They are always touching base with webinars and deliver them in a friendly and approachable way.

Nachteile:

The only functionality that Streamtime doesn't have (yet) is a way to plug into shared cloud based folders for teams to directly access and communicate with the collateral. They do have a roadmap though that is transparent in what updates are coming up next.

Makes my working day easier!!

Kommentare: Studio resourcing and availability (or lack of it) is much more visible to us than ever before. Invoicing is very quick, as are estimates and job plans. It works in a way which makes sense and doesn't require hours of training to grasp - love it!.

Vorteile:

We were pretty much able to set this up and get it rolled out throughout the studio on our own - that is because it makes sense and it user-friendly. Having used a very complicated system that required hours of training prior to this, this is a massive breath of fresh air. My day to day work is more organised and scheduling work through the studio is easy and we have great visibility on resourcing for weeks to come.

Nachteile:

The integration with Google Calendar could be a little better but I know the guys are looking into this, they seem to regularly update areas of the site so im confident this will improve.

Design Agency & Streamtime

Vorteile:

Intuitive and very easy to get the hang of, everything is in one place and it looks great too.

Nachteile:

I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about the software.

Whoa! I feel good, nana nana nana na!

Kommentare: The user experience is great. The improvement to my project and workflow management is great. The additional educational resources and webinars are great. The support and follow-up comms from the team are great. The decision to switch... was great.

Vorteile:

Not only is it beautiful and a pleasure to use, it has positively and productively changed the way I approach setting up jobs and tracking my progress from end to end. This would be really powerful for studios to run teams and manage larger amounts of projects. They actively take on board feedback and requests for new features and improvements, and share what they're working on via a public roadmap.

Nachteile:

The only disappointment is that I didn't start using it sooner.

Always improving

Kommentare: We've managed to vastly improve our studio booking system with this software. The reporting function is super versatile. Overall, always a great experience using!

Vorteile:

The road map is amazing, and the team always listen to feedback on how to improve the software. Plus the design team love to use it!

Nachteile:

It can be a bit buggy at times which slows things down.

Awesome

Kommentare: Brilliant. Love it. I just wish I could afford to put every member of the team on it. Customer service is great, content and added extras (webinars, emailers etc) are helpful and interesting and the product itself is always being updated and made better.

Vorteile:

Coming from a larger agency that used a number of different timesheet, forecasting and scheduling applications I was able to shift all my project planning into one app that is really fun to use. It has been instrumental in the way I am learning to cost jobs, write proposals and get on top of my workload on a day to day basis.

Nachteile:

Lack of android app and the mobile site being a bit clunky making it difficult to work with it on the go. It's little buggy here and there when on desktop. Lack of template customisation and saving for invoices, quotes etc.

It takes our team to the next leve

Kommentare: Essentially we switched to Streamtime form a different platform in order to be able to better manage time and team allocation over a multitude of projects. So far it has helped, considering that the previous used platform only allowed us to log and track hours worked. We are still learning to use it to the fullest as different team members have different levels of proficiency & willingness to employ it (we've only been using it for 2 months).

Vorteile:

- ease of use ( essential for team to get on board and use it) - functionality - layout design which allows quick overview of project status

Nachteile:

- occasional bugs, however the software is constantly improving

A new level of productivity, self management and visibility from our team

Kommentare: The ability to filter reporting data is fantastic. We couldn't easily calculate profitability and performance levels before, and it's highlighted and helped us improve those things really quickly now that we can see what's going on!

Vorteile:

the ability to set up pre populated project templates, products, and rate cards. This speeds up a lot of our admin tasks associated with setting up projects. Followed by the ease and clarity of the time and expense tracking against the quotes, and the filtering of information so we can report on all the important things we need to know for business profitability and good client experiences.

Nachteile:

It would be great to have the contact details of the project Contact automatically visible in the project vs just their name. then we wouldn't have to copy and paste them into the project or open another tab to view their contact details while working on the project. It would also be great if quotes with our messages automatically got sent to the person who's sending them, and there was a pdf attachment the client could reference at a future date if we edited the quote for any reason.

Love the one you're with

Kommentare: Streamtime is like big brother tracking time and productivity and I can easily pull billable hours at any time. The tags you can set up and how it manages projects is invaluable for budgeting and tracking. I can basically search a job from 11 years ago and see what I did for that client, what we charged, who worked on in and find the job folder which is archived under the Streamtime number all within 5 minutes.... and we have a cloud archive with over 20,000 jobs in it.

Vorteile:

We have built our business with Streamtime in place for 10 -12 years as our quoting, time management and invoicing platform. Love how it syncs with Xero, love the upgrades, love the support service, love the product. In fact I love the one I'm with so much that although there are lots of products on the market the grass is definitely not greener on the other side. And I love it so much I'm spending time writing this review to share the word.

Nachteile:

Nothing - What's not to love? I will flag that like any system - it's only as good as the information put into the system. We have systems and procedures in place to ensure each step is followed. We even do internal audits to make sure Streamtime is being used correctly.

It's not 100%, but it's very very good, and I am confident recommending it to other agencies.

Kommentare: It streamlines project management, makes recording time easy, and shows at a glance how much time the entire team has contributed towards a project.

Vorteile:

It's very flexible, allowing us to use it in different ways for different clients. The drag and drop task manager is very helpful, and it's easy to record time spent on different projects. The support team is awesome, and they continue to listen to feedback and release updates in a timely manner. Their communication with their users is spot on with how they communicate and how often they communicate.

Nachteile:

It's sometimes difficult to remember how to do the more advanced tasks that aren't part of the daily routine. The "jobs" page tends to take awhile to load when you have a lot of jobs stored in the system, but this has been improved somewhat in the past 6 months.

Great operation solution

The interface is not that users friendly. need to improve to meet market need.

Making life easier

Kommentare: Managing projects,. budgets, times, cashflow is so much easier with streamtime. Even my most creative employees find it easy to use.

Vorteile:

I love the software, it's easy, intuitive, colourful (just a nice UX) and all my contractors love it and anyone I show it to loves it. It's easy to scale the business with it, it connects to Xero.... it's brilliant. The phone app is also a huge plus

Nachteile:

No client portal yet. Would love to have an integrated interface for clients.

effortless organisation

Vorteile:

It's extremely clear and easy to use. When there's limited time in the day then you need a programme like Streamtime which is straightforward and to the point.

Nachteile:

Nothing! You've addressed the problems I had with the last version in terms of looking through jobs .

I use Streamtime for my small one man design studio to plan, manage and invoice all my projects.

Kommentare: An easy project planning and time registration. This gives me a realy good insight in my way of working.

Vorteile:

Although you can work with complete teams in Streamtime, I use it for my little one man design studio. An I strongly benefit of it. Streamtime is very easy in use, both on desktop as on my mobile/tablet. In combination with the very simple/affective app it's very easy to manage and registrate my daily work. It really helps me to organise my jobs and daily planning. More important even is the fact that Streamtime makes me aware of the hours I spend on jobs and the urge to invoice them. All it takes is the dicipline of making a good start for a project. Which is very easy and intuitive in Streamtime. Once you've set up a project, small or complex, the rest is easy. I can't really say something about working with Streamtime in a team because I work on my own but I'm sure it rocks especially there! The support is very personal and effective.

Outstanding

Vorteile:

It's helped me get much more organised and productive as a creative professional. Their understanding of what it takes to be a modern brand and the value they've placed in the design and the smallest details of their product is inspiring. The staff are excellent and do all they can to help you. I've found the people behind it are very passionate about continuing to improve.

Nachteile:

Not much. It's a little bit of a learning curve to get used to but isn't everything? The opportunity to be creative with it would be nice. Invoices that you generate are a little limiting, but is probably a necessary limitation.

Intuitive and fun!

Kommentare: Just switched over from Streamtime classic and found the newer version far more intuitive and FUN to use! That's right... I actually used the F-word when describing studio management!!

Vorteile:

Simple and so easy to use. It's the little things like the movable bar between 'To do' and 'Done' that I wouldn't ever imagine needing but is actually really useful. Plus the whole looks pretty cool too! Not only does it streamline the whole studio workflow but it has also managed to cut out all the tiny little errors that would occasionally creep into the quotes and invoicing etc... helping us to take care of the details and make us look like the professional studio we always strive to be.

Nachteile:

Struggling to find anything even remotely negative to say so far.

Vorteile:

Running a design team means that we need to be really good at planning, tracking and reporting on projects. I was looking for something really good at doing this and spent a good few months and lots of free trials on other software. From the start, Streamtime felt like a great fit for our business. A well structured and elegantly simple layout made it easy to get started. As we started to use it we then discovered that there were lots of additional features that made it possible to do all of things that happen when projects change. Its obvious that there has been alot of thinking behind Streamtime that makes it very useable with real world projects. On top of this there is a sense of fun and good humour in the software that helps make it enjoyable when you are using everyday.

Nachteile:

I don't have a long list of things that I like the least about the software. I would like to see more integrations.
