Kommentare: Besonders gut finde ich das integrierte Nachrichtensystem an neue Kursteilnehmer mit Erinnerungen zum Login oder Kursablauf und die Option den Aufruf der Kurse zeitlich zu limitieren.

Vorteile:

Ich habe recht lange nach einem für meine Kunden einfach zu bedienenden LMS gesucht und es mit talent.lms gefunden. Es bietet für meine Video-Kurse alle notwendigen Funktionen, und für die Kunden eine übersichtliche Oberfläche.

Nachteile:

Eigentlich nichts. Ich habe das System vorher ausführlich in der kostenlosen Version ausprobiert.

TalentLMS helps me keep track of training courses easily

Kommentare: TalentLMS allows me to keep a record of my training courses, training hours, evaluations, and test results so that I can easily conduct an audit. It's great for getting acquainted with or relaying the organization's standards, and it helps sustain an effective rewards system.

Vorteile:

Excellent resource for reusing existing information into new educational resources; It can be picked up and used in less than an hour. Excellent service is a hallmark of this company. They are easy to contact, respond quickly and are open to suggestions for improvement. Their location in Cyprus scared me in terms of communication, but even with our own account representative, everything was fine.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, when training materials are generated in Microsoft PowerPoint and submitted to TalentLMS, the software removes all animations and page transitions. The visuals are dull and unchanging.

TalentLMS: Solid LMS, Mediocre Course Creator

Kommentare: Very happy with TalentLMS as a distribution platform for its easy of use. Needs to develop a more advanced course authoring component.

Vorteile:

The easy of uploading SCORM files, creating discounts, sales, and bundles, and publishing courses to the platform.

Nachteile:

The course creation element needs more variety in terms of interactive elements/templates. Also the limitations on users makes the pricing rather costly.

TalentLMS- consistently 18 minutes to generate an email for new users.

Kommentare: Very POOR. I am now forced to make time in a busy schedule to find a suitable replacement. When a customer requests a refund because of an issue that TalentLMS refuses to correct, an issue that has now been reported 3 times over the last month, it's time to find another partner. I look forward to contributing to the success of one of their competitors.

Vorteile:

The price to get started was competitive.

Nachteile:

No customer support. Three tickets submitted and each were closed without the issue being resolved. Eventually they cost me a customer who was dissatisfied with the excessively long wait times to get access their course material.

Great way to train staff and create revenue from training

Kommentare: I enjoy the support and the continuous improvement.

Vorteile:

The customisable pages. The multi-lingual function is very helpful since we train across geographies in Africa.

Nachteile:

Graphics could be more appealing/attractive. Payment options can be more affordable (especially for small business and start-ups).

I loved the overall interface. It is very intuitive and easy to use. I use TalentLMS as an admin and I love the features that are available.

Nachteile:

Some obvious features are not available in the modern version of the platform. I understand the company is working on it and am sure the modern version will cover all missing aspects.

Worth your time!

Kommentare: Overall, I have been able to leverage most of the features in it. I still have a little learning curve but in general easy to use platform and I see how it's evolving to better support the future needs.

I like the affordability for the number of options you get.

Nachteile:

Pulling surveys and tests from the legacy platform is a bit of a nuisance as I enjoy the new platform and perform everything in it.

Easy to use TalentLMS

Kommentare: Very happy with the LMS. Our learners spreading over various generations find it easy to use.

Vorteile:

Easy to setup for an admin and easy to use for a learner. Instructors are also having no problem navigating on the system.

Nachteile:

N/A currently everything is working well, and we're preparing to switch over to the new interface 1 June 2025.

TalentLMS has been a fantastic resource for our company

Kommentare: Our company really enjoys using TalentLMS. It is user-friendly and affordable, and provides a lot of amazing features for the cost.

Vorteile:

I like that our company can create self paced training using TalentCraft and provide options for additional training through the TalentLibrary that are short and interactive. Also, their Support is exceptional and always willing to help guide you.

Nachteile:

I would love to see more features on TalentCraft, such as narration tools and accessibility tools to assist those with disabilities can easily run through self guided training. Reporting in some areas, such as customized filters could be improved.

One Happy Customer

The User-Friendly Interface Old and New, The knowledge base feature makes it easier to learn about the product, The guides on youtube are also amazing and I've used them in my training, Setting up one's homepage is easier than I thought. I am a fan of the platform

Nachteile:

It can be glitchy and sometimes gives me 404 or 500 errors which I reported to the team and they are investigating

Talent LMS Rocks!

Kommentare: Overall, TalentLMS is wonderful. I had to downgrade because I did not get my government contract. When I downgraded, the system would not allow me to downgrade fully. I sent an email to the key people and they resolved the problem expeditiously.

Vorteile:

I LOVE TalentLMS. I have been using this mgmt system EVERYDAY for over a year. This system is so easy to use, has lots of great features and my students find it very easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

The TalentLMS App (BETA) don't work with some of the desktop features. It has been in beta for since I started using it (over a year). I am just waiting for them to get the bugs out so I can use it to track my students. I haven't told my students about the beta.

Simple, Robust, and Informative

Kommentare: Overall, our experience with TalentLMS is extremely positive. We appreciate how easy it is to get started with TalentLMS and how simple it is to develop courses quickly. Even with the simplicity is there, the features are robust enough to provide quality learning experiences. The support provided by the TalentLMS team is top-notch, and they are very responsive and helpful.

Vorteile:

Our favorite TalentLMS features are its ease of use, learner analytics, and the ability to set up branches. As an education service agency, we use TalentLMS to offer microlearning opportunities to busy teachers and school administrators. Our course authors find TalentLMS to be easy to use and simple to learn. We use the reports and infographics to understand how and when our participants access their learning opportunities. We love that we can use branches to group users and establish a specific course catalog per branch.

Nachteile:

Although we find more pros than cons with TalentLMS, we do wish there was a way to "drip" content to users via email. We also wish we could customize the storefront and course information pages (more than already possible) as viewed by learners.

Talent LMS

Kommentare: One of the advantages is to train multiple people at once with sometimes different training modules. With the fast turnaround of employees it is difficult to think of other ways to keep up. Also recruitment of employees is made easy and fair.

Vorteile:

Easy of use, support and reasonable cost.

Nachteile:

During the training some trainees managed to use the "Incomplete" Button and then Resume to retry the question many times until pass. It was in a way resolved by opening the course in a new window but some find it difficult to manage.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu TalentLMS: I liked talent LMS due to the ease of use and technical support right from the start. Not that we needed a lot of support as the software help is useful and the system is easy to understand.

Good Customer Service

Kommentare: The product works, customer support is great. There are some rough edges that could be improved, but some of those will only apply to specific use cases.

Vorteile:

The team at Epignosis have been great to work with over the year that we have been using TalentLMS. Our pricing tier doesn't give us a dedicated customer success manager, so all our support queries are handled by their general support team. Both their frontline and technical support staff have been amazing at helping resolve any questions that have been raised. As an LMS, TalentLMS does the job. As an organisation, we didn't know exactly what we wanted and so picked TalentLMS initially on price point from a shortlist of other much more expensive systems that offered similar functionality. We particularly wanted a multi-tenant solution. We don't see ourselves changing in the short term. The LMS is super easy to get started. The free option lets you get started and evaluate whether it will work for you, and there is no time limit on this. I also loved the fact that you can just get in and do things - so many vendors insist on demos before they give you access to a system and layer on the hard sell in that process. The team at Epignosis are not like this, they are not in your face at all. Set up your domain and try it, so much more simple and easy. In terms of the features of TalentLMS, I particularly like how much customisation you can do with Javascript and CSS. I understand that the TalentLMS+ system that is being developed won't have that same degree of customisation - I understand why, but it will be a real loss for teams like ours that have very specific requirements that are not easily met without writing customisations. Overall, the system is easy to set up and use. The learner experience is perhaps not as slick as it could be out of the box, but we have addressed that with our customisations. There were some challenges getting SSO set up, it wasn't quite as easy to do as the TalentMS knowledge base suggested - but we got there in the end. Course and user management are fine and it is possible to create custom user types and access permissions to a very fine level of detail. Mechanisms such as groups and branches work, but perhaps could be a bit more slick. We've ended up not using branches for that reason which has gone away from our original multi-tenant brief. Some things that don't work as well as you might hope can be worked around because the integration with Zapier lets you set up your own automations.

Nachteile:

The branches mechanism could be improved. It basically works fine, but the process of manually adding users to branches is a bit painful and switching between branches is ok but not perfect. The real pain for us is that each branch needs its own SSO configuration and login portal. What I would really love to see here would be a single login screen and then using the SSO credentials to send learners automatically to a given branch, for example based on their email address. That would make things so much more slick for those of us offering to other organisations. I think that I can work around this using Zapier, but using an integration engine to link TalentLMS back to TalentLMS is a bit ridiculous (even through I do that for a few things). Something that is really important for us as we are training software developers is to present highlighted code snippets. The page editor in TalentLMS is not great, and the default style for code is just preformatted HTML. It is easy to work around, we inject custom CSS and Javascript from the prism.js library and it works a charm. However, our concern moving forward is that the TalentLMS+ product is not going to support that degree of customisation. So code formatting using prism.js or highlight.js really needs to be incorporated in as standard functionality. There are other issues with the editor - pasting from other applications produces really messy html. Even if you "paste as plain text" it doesn't work well. Most people probably won't notice, but I am editing the html to make our other customisations work and am always cleaning things up. The product doesn't deal with images and media shared across courses. I would love to see a central library of content (currently it is per course). You can work around the per-course organisation of files if you know html. But what I would love to be able to do is set an image in CSS that then applies across all pages. For example, we have icons that we add into the blockquote style - I need to do each and everyone manually, whereas the whole point of CSS is to do it centrally.

Kommentare: The overall experience is awesome. Team is professional and super helpful. The free access you get in the beginning is super encouraging to play around and make up you decision after a real look and feel experience.

Vorteile:

Talentlms has been my shadow in my years of success as a director of learning and development all over the world starting in Dubai and ended to the USA. What I recently like most is that they are upgrading to AI Powered LMS in a smart way. This will enable us to move faster and at a better quality in designing courses.

Nachteile:

I wish they have a plan to embed live chat on courses and instant feedback to promote communication between learners under each course lesson.

Cannot set timings on when emails get sent to users, so sometimes the system sends emails to employees on a Sunday

Good Courses Assignment Tool

"The report-generating function provides all the records I need for users' completion of course assignments. As for data analysis, it helps a lot to track records and participation rates.

Nachteile:

It would be better if the platform provided more 'mass selection' options for different purposes. If they allowed multiple selections for the same action, such as resetting user course assignments, it would be more efficient.

Vorteile:

Its incredible ease of use and intuitive interface helped me start creating and managing courses quickly and easily. But in addition, the platform offers a wide range of tools and features that allowed me to customize the learning experience according to the needs of my team.

Nachteile:

The lack of customization options regarding the platform design should be improved. While I can add my logo and adjust some colors, I would like more control over the visual appearance and the ability to fully adapt it to my company's identity.

What i like least is the starter level payement it is easy to pay the amount of 69$

Good mid-range platform

Kommentare: Overall a great product that we are happy with after over two years of use. Use for both our staff and training of external clients with great success.

Vorteile:

An easy platform to set up and start using quickly. Easy to absorb existing information in PowerPoint or similar formats to get up and running quickly. We've used all types of registration for internal and external users along with Group Keys for access and all work really well.

Nachteile:

Some aspects of integration are hit and miss - PowerPoint with sound originating on Apple products don't always load even after contacting helpdesk.

There was nothing that I particularly disliked about TalentLMS. I thought it was a very user-friendly platform. LMS platforms can be kind of confusing sometimes, and I appreciate that this one wasn't that way.
