It is a good tool to register and track all trainings completed by staff as well as creating requirements for individuals instead of the agency as a whole.
Some of SPW's verbiage internally is a little confusing to get use to.

Kommentare: As the person who had to implement the program and be the original Admin. I am very happy with the product, the team at SPW, and the results we have seen since using the program.

We were in the marked to get a program that could help automate our DOT Document storage and Maintenance from a paper file process to digital. After reviewing several systems we elected to go with Safety Plus Web for the following reasons. The price was very reasonable and affordable. The system offered a solution to the DOT needs we had and it also did so much more outside of just DOT Compliance. Its a great system overall it is capable of helping streamline the Safety Procedures , HR needs, Training Needs, Reporting needs, Housing Documents, and is fully capable of eliminating paper processes. My most favorite aspect of SPW is the versatility. the way the system is set up is determined by you. You can decide how you want to accomplish whatever issues you are wanting to solve. We constantly work with the SPW team they listen to feedback from their customers and are willing to take the time to explain multiple ways you could accomplish what your aiming to do. They even implement new features into their program based off the feedback from their customers. Overall they go above and beyond to help their customers use the system how they see fit. This program has Solved and automated the process we aimed to and more for our company.
Nachteile:
Getting our employees ( Truck Drivers and Construction laborers) along with some internal departments to move from old ways (paper documents and spreadsheets) to new ways ( Paperless using a system on the computer or phone) Is hard. But it has nothing to do with the Safety Plus web program people are starting to grasp the ease of access and tracking information at their fingertips and have realized it has really simplified their tasks. The only thing I wish they had was an App that you could have employees download I used to hate updating my employee roster because it was a manual data entry process. However they have since made a new feature that allows you to do a Data dump to update the employees in one spreadsheet.

Helpful but Reporting can use work
Kommentare: The account representatives are very communicative. They respond quickly and are able to help as much as they can. There are limitations with the software, but they try their best to create "work arounds" to the system.
Vorteile:
Inputting data and accessing that data is simple.
Nachteile:
The software does not have the ability to calculate due dates if a course has not yet been taken. The software requires that we input employee hire dates, and renewal dates for courses, but the software does not calculate a "due" date for courses that have not yet been taken. We have created excel spreadsheets to calculate "due" dates for courses not yet taken based on hire date. It seems like something simple that the software should be able to produce.

Thank you for your insight and for your company's years as a loyal customer! Courses that require renewals will automatically calculate due dates for the future once completed, but initial course assignments are technically "due" upon their assignment. This is designed in a way that "assigned courses" and "due courses" will both appear on the Employee's Training Landing Page. I will add this feature request for "due dates" on initial assignments and pass it along to our Tech Development team. In the meantime, you can run a filter on an individual employee's "Training Needed" report that categorizes Training Needed into Expired, Not Taken, or Due within the next 30, 60, 90, or 120 days.

Vorteile:
SafetyPlusWeb has made our safety program more efficient for the employees training, easier to look up employee expiration's on training, allows content to be uploaded specific to individual employees or company as a whole. My customers also enjoy the availability they have to view specific training courses required to work in their facility. The QR code used in creating a employee Identification card has very resourceful. our customers can use their cellular device to scan my employees card and see ALL the training they have completed. This program is very helpful for recordkeeping and quick access to the records without being in front of my office computer or digging through paper files. Also, the program is smart phone friendly, which makes it easy for the employees to use anywhere they have cellular or wifi service.
Nachteile:
There was nothing I didn't like about this software.
Training made easy
Kommentare: The benefits of having every employee trained and more knowledgeable has been a major blessing to this company and has saved us more money then the cost of using SafetyPlusWeb
Vorteile:
setting up training with this program was easy from an ADMIN standpoint. I had no difficulty adding employees and tracking their progress. I work for a company with roughly 500 employees and having the ability for anyone anywhere (with access to wifi or internet to take the training has made things simple.
Nachteile:
My only issue was with the latest update they removed the training needed by classification / qualification so when I assigned training to an employee it listed every training that I had set up by classification, where as qualification I had set up by promotion within that class. Some training were not necessary. I had a simple fix where I sent out a document that stated what training was needed by each position
Awesome Program
Kommentare: This product is great. There have been a few minor glitches, but the team at Safety Plus Web has been right there for me.
Vorteile:
This site brought all our training needs to the tips of the fingers at their work location. Training is tracked and logged and we are easily able to provide records to our requestors.
Nachteile:
The only problem I have had with the software is the fact that you have to do separate log-ins for each function. Training, Audits, Meetings, etc. I wish there was one log-in and that based upon user level, different items would be available.
Pros and cons of Safety Plus
Kommentare: It is a good tool for keeping up with training and deficiencies. It cues you when someone is delinquent. For the most part, it is easy to use.
Vorteile:
The system is user friendly. From the input of data to actually seeing the data in the system is not timely.
Nachteile:
Inputing a classification is not clear to me.

I really enjoyed working with the SPW team in the start up phase, I like the ease of uploading information and the toolbox talk feature.
Nachteile:
i feel there is alot of things that get in your way sometimes. alot of extra options that are a bit much

Kommentare: I am able to look at any of 5 companies that i have set up and see how they are doing on training and safety as a whole.
Vorteile:
The ease of use and ability to get training done fast and efficiently. The ability to look up any employee at any time and use their real employee number is great. Price is great also.
Nachteile:
I have not figured out how to get my custom training in to the system yet. Had some trouble getting the website to load my video

Great Software
Kommentare: My experience so far has been good.
Vorteile:
It definitely makes my life easier. Once you learn how to enter the info it becomes second nature. It will hold all information that you need and does it securely.
Nachteile:
Some features still need some work like the audits section. It is set up for more of a industrial plant and makes it difficult to use for a construction company.

Currently, the Audits section comes pre-loaded with ~70 checklist templates that you can use to monitor your workspace or various jobsites. You can also edit these safety checklists with additional questions or build new Audits from scratch to assess your own custom criteria. Great Safety Program
Kommentare: The most helpful feature is lightning fast access to reports and weekly updates indicating when employees are coming due or are due for safety training.
Vorteile:
The software is easy to use, is consistently updated, and is applicable to the work we do. It is easy to set new users up and get them engaged in the program. Completing safety courses, and ensuring the material is understood is all a part of the program.
Nachteile:
The only improvement that i would like to see for us is to allow further drilling down on the dashboard, to the individual org keys.
Simplifying safety metrics with strong customer service
Kommentare: The system works really well and when we have an issue customer support is very quick to respond and help resolve answer our questions.
Vorteile:
I like the simplicity of being able to input and adjust information quickly. Pulling up basic team member information while out on the floor and inputting audits on the floor that will email directly to the responsible supervisor is a game changer. The ability to build out different reports quickly compared to developing several large excel charts saves a lot of time at the end of our month when we are preparing out monthly management reviews.
Nachteile:
I would like to see the dashboard more customizable to fit more of what we want to post around our plant.
Great System
Kommentare: Great support from the team. We looked at several different companies and SafetyPlusWeb met our criteria.
Vorteile:
Software gives you a good picture of what is going on within your organization. Easy setup and pretty easy to manage the different tabs.
Nachteile:
I would have to say more options for reports, stats and more categories for incident reports would be nice to see.
All trainings in one place
Kommentare: Overall, great experience and ease of use. Toggling through needed training and short quizzes at the end are helpful for memorization and practice.
Vorteile:
Trainings are sorted by completed and need to be completed for ease of access and organization. All training courses (40 hpur hazwhoper) provided in one location makes it easy for employees to complete their training efficiency.
Nachteile:
Seems to have a slow server, lots of material to cypher through. Filters would come in handy to be able to decipher what employee needs and doesn't need. Could have creatable tabs for certain training groups.
SPW - WELL WORTH THE MONEY
Kommentare: Their team is what really stands out. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] made the process a breeze and worked on our timeline. She was always, and still is, available for any question and any modification, especially as we got to know the system.
Vorteile:
SPW is WELL worth the money if you're looking for an already built but also customizable training program for safety etc. Easy to use/deploy to your crews. Also very easy to show progress to clients, etc that trainings have taken place.
Nachteile:
Some of SPW's verbiage internally is a little confusing to get use to.

Kommentare: I have had a great experience with this platform and the service we have been given. If there is ever a question or problem, it is addressed or fixed right away.
Vorteile:
It is easy to use and keep track of training for the company's employees.

The length of some of the training is minimal.
Safety Training Software
Kommentare: I like that we have some kind of training in place, but it has not really made a difference or shown.
Vorteile:
How it had safety videos in the software that you could choose from. It also keeps track of all other information like injuries and OSHA logs.
Nachteile:
When I try to calculate the time spent on employees doing their trainings it was nearly impossible, I wish they had a better report. Also, its too expensive per month.
Great Software
Vorteile:
No per person cost and monthly cost was reasonable It's pretty easy to use. Even though I'm not in it everyday, it's not a whole new learning experience every time I log in. Document storage is great! No cost for that when you deactivate someone and you don't lose it. A great variety of training
Nachteile:
Can't do ELDs in the system like I was led to believe

Kommentare: Overall it is a very useful software for our agency and our goal of becoming a subject matter in our area of expertise. Thanks to its reports we can be able to prove that we are a very reliable source of education and resource information.
Vorteile:

Nachteile:
It was challenging for our staff to access and complete the trainings. The issues were related to videos either not loading or trainings not registering as completed. It also requires multiple steps to create courses, but it is user friendly.

Kommentare:
We are not the primary audience for which the product was intended, which was clearly explained and understood before implementation. We were searching for a system to assist in capturing training data and could grow to include content we would develop. It has worked well.
One aspect of our experience has been exceptional. The support and customer service has been very responsive and helpful. It began with initial talk with rep and has continued throughout.
Vorteile:
Ability to expand and build custom content Generating reports Customer Service Receptivity to update existing tests based on client knowledge
Nachteile:
User interface is "clunky" and not most intuitive. Sometime difficult to navigate to right place.
Safety Software Review
Kommentare: For a company with many employees that are in the field daily, this is the best option to meet safety training. We do not have to coordinate multiple training sessions so they can alternate coming into the office, and we can easily view who is up to date on their training.
Vorteile:
We enjoy the option for our employees to take mandatory safety training at their own pace and schedule. The auto date features and weekly required training emails are both very beneficial!
Nachteile:
The audits seem limited with only Yes/No/ N/A or Comments as the response options.
