My best choice for creating interactive courses and games

Kommentare: I use Active Presenter since one of the earliest version if I remember well about 8 years or more ago. I liked the screen record feature you can use with simplicity. I created two interactive games for children in preschooler age about basic English and colours, it was very easy to find how to manage the interactivity and also the support was very fast in giving me a solution when I had to create an interactive bookshelf to sell a market products using custom pictures and Paypal method and buttons.

Vorteile:

I liked the extensive features you can use and the simplicity of the UI. I created two interactive games and imported my assets without any inconveniences. I exported in HTML5 the final product and it worked fine with any browsers.

Nachteile:

I don't know any cons because during the use if I had a problem in a matter of time the support helped me.

Awesome Control and Flexibility

Kommentare: In my short time using ActivePresenter so far, I have been extremely impressed with the functionality that can be developed using this tool. Where some might prefer a more streamlined experience that caters to the novice - I prefer a blank slate and I appreciate that this authoring tool does a nice job of balancing the experience for both new and veteran users alike.

Vorteile:

ActivePresenter leaves control to the developer and allows for a great deal of flexibility to realize your projects. User friendly interface makes most things easy to find. Strong JavaScript support and extremely well written documentation. Technical support from developer via community forums is fantastic.

Nachteile:

JavaScript coding is a little heavier due to the syntax requirements but a small concession compared to what is possible.

I do understand why people like ActivePresenter, but compared to other alternatives, ActivePresenter is quite expensive, and their animation, such as transition, ouch it is ugly, sometimes I feel like using the old windows video editor.

Excellent eLearning Authoring Tool with World-Class Customer Support

Kommentare: Our team has used ActivePresenter to develop and publish more than 30 eLearning modules with assessments for the past 5+ years.

Vorteile:

The application has an intuitive slide-based workflow, a robust set of eLearning development tools, multi-modal publishing (demo, tutorial, practice, and test modes) and one-click publishing to HTML5 and/or SCORM formats for ready deployment via LMS (we use it with MOODLE). The few times I have needed support, the team was very responsive and extremely helpful and even on a few occasions created scripts to make the software do what we needed it to do (which were somewhat non-standard use-cases). I have used many eLearning development and deployment platforms (including the 2 heaviest hitters in the industry), but ActivePresenter is hands-down the best value for the money and is most accessible for new team members to ramp up in learning development.

Nachteile:

No cons after 5+ years of use creating and publishing dozens of interactive learning resources.

I do wish the UI was a bit more intuitive. But eventually, I found what I needed and more.

Great software for every requirement for video editing.

Kommentare: Overall experience has been great and I really like this. It is easy and gives you so many features.

Vorteile:

It is just awesome to have this on your system because this is one of the easiest and most intuitive video editing app there. Quick with there updates and narration feature is good too. It is easy on pocket so overall a great win win for you.

Nachteile:

some casual crashes happend but that issue could be related to the systems we are using. other than that not anything that I disliked

ActivePresenter for Screensharing

Vorteile:

It is feasible and freeware if anyone utilising it for personal use, but as we were using it for organisation so it required license. But the feature and ease of use were good of it.

Nachteile:

When using for personal use it records with the watermark however that was not considered as an issue.

Amazing Experience

Vorteile:

ActivePresenter is one of the best softwares when it comes to this field; it's really easy to use it, and offers a lot of ways to easily edit your works.

Nachteile:

It is probably too "classic": other software are more updated when it comes to the graphic of the software. Still a good option for people who don't give it much mind, though.

One of the best

ActivePresenter is one of the best softwares available to screen-record. I tried a few other softwares, but the results I obtained using ActivePresenter was amazing. First of all, the software is really intuitive, and can record in high quality, without any problem. But the amazing thing is I can run it on all my devices, which had some troubles in the past running similar softwares. Simply amazing!

Nachteile:

I like everything so far, so I have nothing to report.

Lovely Software

Active Presenter is easy to use, and has a lot of useful fuctions. I personally used it to screen-record and it keeps the quality really high, love it!

Vorteile:

De las pocas aplicaciones que conozco que "no molestan" es decir que (gracias su facilidad de manejo) me permiten concentrarme en la creación de contenidos. La aplicación está llena de detalles que demuestran su orientación a resolver las necesidades de sus usuarios/as. Se nota que cuentan con ellos/as. Es una aplicación poderosa, pero no es complicada porque te permite usar únicamente lo que necesitas en cada momento, olvidándote de todo lo demás. Es una aplicación en constante mejora basada en la escucha atenta a los mensajes de sus usuarios/as.

Nachteile:

Trabajando con la versión 9 me resulta muy difícil encontrar alguna desventaja.

ActivePresenter is really easy to use thanks to its user-friendly interface, and the video quality is amazing. I really didn't expect it to have all these fuctions, it's really imprressive.

I would love if the software had more animations to choose from, it feels like a presentation animation and I would love for something more dynamic.

Buen programa, pero necesario un buen ordenador

Es un programa bastante útil si necesitas grabar la pantalla de manera algo regular, es rápido de hacer que grabe, fácil, es gratuito y puedes editar con cierta complejidad luego, curva de aprendizaje suave y no lanza errores.

Nachteile:

El problema viene cuando renderizas el vídeo, lo exportas... O cuando lo capturas grabando la pantalla. Cuando lo grabo en la pantalla de compañeros de trabajo porque el vídeo lo hacen ellos, a veces si el ordenador no es suficientemente potente, graba como con pocos frames, y al exportarlo lo mismo, por no hablar de lo que puede tardar en renderizarse algo teniendo poco RAM...

I use it when I need to screen recording something, and it's amazing! It has a really good quality, and is really easy to use.

Nachteile:

Sometimes, if my device has a lot of programs open, taking a lot of RAM space, it freezes and stops working. This can be fixed by starting the device again.

Vorteile:

I was amazed by ActivePresenter performance: really friendly interface, fast and very professional. Their customer support is also amazing, I had some problems due to my old device, but they had the solution!

Nachteile:

As previously said, I had some compatibility problems at first, but their customersupport fixed it.

Best software for Interactive Teaching

Vorteile:

I used this to prepare interactive videos that can help children in their studies. I also used this for Technical Presentation in Office. I also used it for Screen capture while making Tutorial videos

Nachteile:

Although it has all the minimum features, I feel it should have some good voice assistant that can convert my text to speech as my spoken English is not that good.

Aprende a enseñar grabando

Kommentare: Necesitaba un programa para grabar mi pantalla para hacer videotutoriales, y además si pudiera hacerlo más interactivo de cara a las plataformas de aprendizaje, mejor.

Vorteile:

Active Presenter es un programa completísimo para grabar tu pantalla y enseñar mediante tutoriales a otras personas, ofrece interactividad en los vídeos mediante botones, por ejemplo. No tarda mucho en renderizar, por lo que pueden usarlo ordenadores sin demasiado RAM, en mi caso tengo 32 GB y apenas tarda con vídeos de 5-10 minutos.

Nachteile:

La curva de aprendizaje es un poco complicada, especialmente cuando vas a interactivizar los vídeos, hay que exportarlos bien o al final acabas teniendo un vídeo con un botón inutilizable, pero puedes leer en internet guías para ello.

Vorteile:

It is simple to make videos, edit videos, and add subtitles. Along with the subtitles, we are also able to export the video in a variety of compatible formats.

Nachteile:

When combining multiple videos, timeline management is difficult. The app may not respond after the editing lags.

Very good for screen recording

Vorteile:

I like it because it has many good video editing features (i.e. cut, trim, crop, split, join, merge video and many more) after you record a video. Excellent for interactive software tutorials.

Nachteile:

Not anything too annoying, but I had to study it a little before understanding how to use it.

Complete and free screen recorder, with doubts

Kommentare: We need it for record our sessions of networking, AMAs and more, so we use it and try to keep in a original and/or native resolution all content.

Vorteile:

It has an extense list of options and a clean interface (with a lot of buttons), have a lot of formats, a lot of possibilities of customize your record, your video...

Nachteile:

Some of options doesn't seems to be optimized, as when you export your record, it takes too long for finish it. And i think could be better to minimize that too much options in a main interface.

Creare semplici corsi e-learning

Kommentare: L'abbiamo usato in azienda per volontà di un cliente. Ci è voluto un po' di tempo per apprendere come usarlo, alla fine siamo riusciti con successo anche se il corso da produrre è molto basilare. Per progetti più complessi può essere difficile.

Vorteile:

Facile da usare per fare corsi semplici e in poco tempo, perfetto per iniziare per chi non ha basi. Corsi conformi a SCORM.

Nachteile:

Occorre per forza la versione a pagamento. I quiz sono un po' complicati da gestire. Creare corsi complessi diventa macchinoso rispetto ad altri sistemi.

High-end editor at an affordable price

Kommentare: Maintenance of how-to videos is a big issue. With ActivePresenter, we can switch out anything that needs to be edited for a new release, switch in new material quickly, and put out a revised video in less than an hour. With some other video editors, it took a couple of days.
We’ve occasionally lost source files for older videos (not necessarily in ActivePresenter). With AP, we simply record the published older video and turn it into an AP source file.

Vorteile:

I use ActivePresenter in two contexts. As a video producer for a major educational company, I produce small how-to videos that need frequent updating. As a mystery writer, I produce "teaser" videos for my books: fewer maintenance cycles but I need more dazzling effects. I've used other video editing suites and course creation tools, including Captivate, Camtasia, and (currently) Premiere Pro. For ease of use and breadth of features, my favorite is ActivePresenter. It is enormously flexible. It can import PowerPoint slides, images, GIFs, and other videos. As you edit, you can separate your video into chunks ("slides") to focus on one piece of animation or editing at a time. It captures video off the screen or from an application *and separates the video track from the audio track*--a huge win in maintenance. You can record multiple audio and video tracks at once. You can record a video without the mouse and layer the mouse in later, another big maintenance win. Once you’ve captured a video, you can export it as a MP4, then add it to another video, then edit it again, then export that video and import it to another video…all without loss of audio or video quality. Editing is nondestructive. AP has a nice library of special effects, including transitions from scene to scene, fades in and out of individual items in the timeline, animation (even without Saola Animate), and opacity. With the course creation module, of course, you’d get many more.

Nachteile:

It’s a high-end video edit and there’s a learning curve if you haven’t used a similar product before. If you have, some things work differently but there are no real surprises. Source files for a complex video can be LARGE, up to several hundred MB. Plan your storage accordingly. (Output files are fine.) Neither of these are big issues.

Active Presenter is all you need for professional video creation

Kommentare: I have been using Active Presenter for about 6 years now and I can't do my job without it. I don't need a complex or expensive program to create videos, Active Presenter does everything they do. If I have a question, the user forum usually has the answer or I post the question and usually get an answer the next day - that's unbelievable. Plus they stay up to date with their user guide and software updates.

Vorteile:

I love how easy and intuitive Active Presenter is. I have used Captivate and other products and they aren't as easy. Plus Active Presenter is a fraction of their costs and has all the tools I need to create video simulations, interactive videos and just plain tutorials. I also like the ability to effortlessly import slides from PowerPoint. Great product and fabulous customer service!

Nachteile:

I would like more Animations to choose from to add even more pizzazz, but it has the standard animations that PowerPoint has.
