Kommentare: Positive to say the least. It has helped me grow my business from basic design to full branding projects of five figures.

Vorteile:

An integral piece of software in my tech stack for job management. Quotient feeds seamlessly into Xero matching quote numbers, job numbers and invoice numbers and making client management (at least in this area!) completely painless. Without a doubt one of the best investments I have made in my business.

Nachteile:

Not too many - the team is very responsive to issues and feedback. There may be some more integrations that could be done but honestly it's not a bad thing to keep quoting separate. In my experience it's better to have 4 pieces of software that are really, really good at what they do rather than have 1 piece that is really ordinary at 4 things. Quotient is really, really, really good.

Exactly the simple, professional online quote system we needed

Kommentare: I have told many people that quotient is one of the best business software products we use and I stand by that. It is exactly the tool we needed to solve our cost to quote problem which was limiting our business growth. Our time to generate a quote went from 4-6 person hours to a matter of minutes, and our number of quotes generated and contracts signed has increased dramatically. We did not need a complicated system, we just needed an easy to use way to make consistent quotes without a ton of effort, and Quotient fills that need for us perfectly.

Vorteile:

The interface is brilliantly designed to be simple and easy to use while offering options for customization in an insightful way. FOr our company, it has saved hundreds of hours of staff time that used to be spent generating quotes manually by automating repeated quotes with templates and offering a great interface for customizing quote content in a consistent and professional format.

Nachteile:

That I didn't have it years ago. While we have used it for a year and a half, the time it took to generate a quote before then still haunts me. There are some custome features we would like, but the product grows to add things at a measured pace to keep it simple.

Very limited, extremely basic quoting program without many features others have had for 15 years

Kommentare: Service people are nice and responsive. But this product should not be a released product for reason cited above. They say they will put the product improvement idea "read a last name merge field"???? in as a suggested feature for some future release, but if they have made any improvements to their product over the last 2 years I have not seen it. I am currently looking for a new program. Don't spend your time or money until they

the customer support responds quickly, but often with the answer, we can't do that.

Nachteile:

It does not have many of the most basic features: Like a last name merge field. REALLY????? Very limited on how you can format your quotes, fonts, and color of everything. Putting in hyperlinking is limited and many of the things you can do, you have to do with code. Again really??? You have to enter code to change the color of a font? What is this the early 80s?

Quotient creates a great presentation

Kommentare: Quotient has really improved our presentation to potential clients. It puts them in control of their budget and what they intend to spend, and also explains in detail and pictures what our services/products are. I’ve received a lot of feedback and we’ve experienced more closings of jobs.

Vorteile:

The simplicity and the ease of use. It’s not overly complicated and makes it easy to build out a quote of varying degrees.

Nachteile:

I don’t like that quotient doesn’t have features for converting the quotes to invoices, and receiving payments. You can integrate with QuickBooks, but our business would be able to eliminate QuickBooks if we were able to handle estimates, invoices and payments thru Quotient. I would also like to see a more complex scenarios for either or options, because some choices in products necessitate additional optional services that go with it.

Awesome customer service

Kommentare: What I like the most is that I am able to show reviews from customers on my new quotes that I send out. I am also able to use a template. this serves me a great deal of time

Vorteile:

I started using Quotient just when Covid-19 and lockdown started. I reached out to the Quotient team and asked for an extension of the trial period and they agreed to grant me access until the end of June. This allowed me to save a little on cost and gave me enough time to try the product. They are quick to jump in and help when I have queries or if I struggled with the system.

Nachteile:

The only thing I wish for is that it be able to generate repeating invoices on a monthly basis directly from Quotient into Xero.

Best Estimate Software EVER!

Vorteile:

We love how easy and straightforward it is. Being able to use Quotient for our estimates really sets apart from other contractors and our clients are always telling us how much they like the way our estimates look, how easy they are to read and that they love the "optional" option which allows us to make our quotes a la carte'!

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to delete quotes and for Quotient to connect to Wave for invoice processing. Or if Quotient had an option for sending invoices/receiving payments would be even better. I'd love an all-in-one program to keep things streamlined.

Wish we had started using it sooner

Kommentare: Practical and easy to use. I recommend it to anyone. Its easy to see how many of your quotes are being accepted also.

Vorteile:

We are really enjoying using quotient, super easy to set up and best of all you can keep all communication with the customer attached to their job. its amazing.

Nachteile:

If someone else sent the quote and it gets accepted, it only emails the sender. it would be great if we can put 2 email addresses in for responses so the office staff can set up the jobs.

Quotient's system is simple to use and offers it's users easy to use templates which integrates well into other platforms for maximum efficiency.

Nachteile:

Quotient should create a better reporting system to compare sales and change reports. Also, it can be costly for new companies going through a transition. They may question if it's worth it or not incorporating within their organization.

Quotient online quoting system has helped to increase our bank balance!

Kommentare: I recently started using the Quotient online quoting system after I was introduced to it by my brother. I immediately started using it. The very first quote I did was accepted and I was so excited! I have used it ever since and the more I use it the more I love it. In my business, we service and support small to medium sized business for all the IT needs and these days you have to be very quick and on the ball with quoting. The Quotient online systems make this very easy and extremely convenient since you have all your quotes in one place, you can also create templates from your quotes as often you like. We will be quoting different customers on the same solutions. Also the fact that you can very easily show the spend split on a quote between once off charges and monthly re-accruing charges is just perfect for our quotes. The other nice features are the ability for the customer to be able to view the quote online, which means that the customer will essentially be able to view the quote on any device, like a mobile phone or tablet and not just his PC/Laptop, so there and then the customer is able to make a decision and accept the quote online as well, after which we immediately get notified.
This in its self also allows for a much quicker turn around time for us in terms of the admin side of the process since we are then able to immediately issue invoices and collect any payments or deposits due, before starting any new project for a client. In the long term, this assists us great in managing our cash flows, especially on large projects. There are many other useful features, like the ability to put in the cost prices on quoted items and set a default markup percentage, which can the be adjusted per line item on the fly if required. Same stock items from different templates will also link up in database style list so that you are able to simply type in a stock code and if it has been used before it will come up. However, I do feel that the ability to be able to import a list of stock items with the required fields is a feature that is not yet available and I am hoping that the developers will take this into consideration eventually and implement this type of functionality. All in all a GREAT find in terms of a "cloud-based" quoting system and ideal for any company that is on a cloud migration strategy to move as many daily business functions into the cloud space.

Your app is absolutely perfect for small businesses like us where we don't just quote pricing, we use the app as a persuasion tool to present our proposal in a very convincing way to customers with product links, pictures, data sheet attachments to give the customer a complete experience of what they would get when they accept our proposal. Our customers just love the beautiful format of the quote they receive and it stands out amongst all competitors who use email, excel and other form of quotes to present the same proposal.

Nachteile:

Pricing is too expensive for small businessIf individual items have different GST, summary should mention the line items that have a particular rate of GST, else unable to use the format in pdf when tax rates are different as customers want to see which line items has which rate of tax

Easy Quoting and Great Communication Platform

Kommentare: Quotient provided a great temporary software four our quoting team during a transition to a more robust system - for smaller companies that do not want to setup enterprise software such as SAP or Salesforce, this is a great solution

Quotient can be difficult to set up and takes time and resources to customize the software to work for your specific needs

Kommentare: I'm a big fan of the quotient product it's the perfect solution for my business and I feel proud to deliver professional quotes such as these to my potential clients. The platform has many great features that i'm sure have helped me win a few deals. At times I've found it a little confusing to navigate but after hitting the help section I always seem to work it out. Definitely, the best part of my experience with this company has been the kind service they have provided. for example when i first was thinking about joining I was extended an extra month. Just now I have been working on a start up so I haven't used the product for a while, for some reason I missed the monthly payment emails and my account was suspended rightly so. I received a personal email by one of the founders asking why I was no longer a customer. long story short he kindly reactivated the account and gave me a months credit. Great service if you ask me!!! Thanks, Guys!

Kommentare: I have found a profound increase in sales since adopting this software for quotes. It has streamlined the process and with reuse or change quote to template, it saves allot of time. When I had a question or issue, responses were quick and accurate. I highly recommend this software. Being cloud based it also makes it easy to work from multiple locations and change a quote in front of a customer and they have the copy for approval in seconds. I look forward to more updates and features in the future.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I get a bit confused when trying to do some tasks. I sometimes get a bit confused around sending the cover email and viewing that cover once it's been sent.

Best out there

Kommentare: Very useful for my travel business. One of the only services of its kind that allows you to add photos and links easily. The layout is very clean and professional. It would be perfect if it had the ability to accept payments and signatures but that is just me dreaming. Still the best on the market!

Would like to be able to add options under each individual item. For instance I sell travel, would love to be able to add different room categories instead of making a duplicate item. That can get a bit confusing.

Super intuitive. Did not need much effort to train team members. This is the first time we are trying a cloud based quotation application system and really great to have found the right one immediately

Nachteile:

It would be nice if there is an option to indicate where images will be displayed in a quotation. aside from this it is really hard to think of anything not to like about this software

What a time saver!

Kommentare: We've really adopted Quotient quickly and have used the templates function to quickly build quotes, include blocks of standard text, that display like mini-proposals. Three of us have been using it during the past couple of weeks and have quickly got to grips with it. We are now really confident in rolling out to our team, confident that they will produce consistently high-quality quotes. We know they are going to love it. We have used the support function to ask advice and the response was quick and helpful.

CHEAP AND EASY

Kommentare: We are expanding our sales team and our current quoting software was not mobile, didn't integrate to our CRM choice. THIS IS AWESOME! I can give options rather than send three different quotes it communicated with my CRM. IT DID NOT BREAK THE BANK! THANKS GUYS and GALS!

How did I do business without this?

Kommentare: This product has revolutionised my business in all seriousness. My quoting skills grew out of excel spreadsheets and was haphazard at best. Too many pieces of information floating in my head - 'if this happens then this cost applies but not always' kinds of stuff. Errors were costing me money and my confidence was smashed. I now have 5 quote templates, with every scrap of information from my head listed in there. Instead of building my quotes up, I now delete my quotes down, taking out all items that dont apply. Quotes take minutes and with no stress. They look professional, and being itemised gives my clients confidence that I know what Im talking about. The errors are over. Love it love it love it

Quotient gives me an edge

Kommentare: Using Quotient saves me so much time. Now when i receive a lead, i capture the details and prepare the quote before even turning up. I then just add quantities and before i leave the customer I have sent the quote to them. I have also added supplier product brochures and images, so the customer has everything they need to know. We are strict on having acceptance prior to any work commencing. When the customer accepts the quote, I receive an email and also our installations team, who then simply takes over from there. Not only this it is sitting in Xero as a draft waiting to be invoiced. Done, Simple, Easy, Efficient, Professional and affordable.
