Efficient, Secure, and Intuitive Virtual Data Room Solution

Kommentare: My experience with Drooms has been very positive. The platform significantly streamlines the due diligence process, allowing for efficient document management and secure sharing.

Vorteile:

The user interface is highly intuitive, making it easy to navigate and manage large volumes of documents efficiently. Advanced security options, including granular permissions and robust encryption, ensure data is protected at all times.

Nachteile:

Offline access to documents could be improved for situations where internet connectivity is an issue.

It is cheap (but even that is not enough to considered to be a decent choice)

Nachteile:

Functionality and usability; it is not very user friendly either on the buy-side or the sell-side. 1. Translation tool is terrible (GER-ENG) - translating that our documents would include sentences like "I want to kill you". This is definitely not what is written in the original document, and this is definitely not something you want to have in a DD process. 2. Q&A tool is awkward, unsmooth and has poor visibility - very challenging to follow which of the questions are answered, which is not and should be shared to new people, which are coming back from your internal team and which from external teams. Question numbering is odd. Search-tool does not find questions even if searching with the headline / key words. You cannot see the previous answer of a question, but after answering it just disappears. You cannot double check your answer nor an you copy paste it easily to another bidder. Tool is showing an old a question an right-hand side even though is does not match with the question selected left-hand side..very confusing and drains your focus unnecessary things. 3. As a buyer, reviewing documents is challenging. You cannot 'handle' to the document normally and so reading through documents becomes burdensome. This is frustrating to both sides as buy-side is asking questions that are included in the docs, but did not find it there due to poor, slow and awkward handling of the document.

I only use DROOMS for Tec. DD

Kommentare: it's my favourite data room to work with. Nefiles and Intralinks are terrible.

Kommentare: Overall, it has been a great experience using Drooms, most of the interface features are very intuitive and easy to use. All the usage reports are a fantastic feature, even for collaborative work.

The file management could be improved (for example, removing or moving files between folders).

You cannot preview the files and you do not receive alerts when a new file is uploaded.

Aplication is faster than the older, fast to upload documentation. Access the clients to old documentation, easy to access the statistic and get information

Nachteile:

I have problems with the authoritation to the clients, you have to delete all the users and then manage the acces again. You can download the documents with water signal

We have used DROOMS many times, runing on both old and new platforms. The services we always perfect

Vorteile:

The software is easy to use. I also like its clarity. The function of analytic is also useful. I appreciate the services provided by customer support.

Nachteile:

If you add attachement to the answer (in Q&A tool), it is not shown in data room to be available as valuable document as far as I know.

El producto es fácil de usar, la creación de una VDR desde 0 es sencilla y el trabajo final se ve bien de cara a los inversores. Además, la gestión de los usuarios y los archivos es más sencilla que en otras VDRs.

Nachteile:

Los reportes podrían ser más completos, así como la adición de usuarios en ocasiones ha dado error, aunque se arregla rapido el error.

I did not use the Q and A facility and so cannot review that.

Kommentare: we shared information both with other parties but also used it as our own archive

it is very easy and very swift in uploading documents; when the system needs some seconds to upload, you can continue to use the program

Nachteile:

changing the indexnumber within a folder is not very easy (you cannot drag files within a folder to another indexnumber)

I was a the deal manager of a Data Room for 3 months.

Vorteile:

I particularly liked 1) ease of use - I was able to do almost all by myself without need for support and 2) customer support - the little times I needed support it was quick and effective

Nachteile:

The "Look and feel" and design of the data room seems a bit old and outdated; it was not possible to customize the look (e.g. the font size was particularly small!)

Kommentare: I was a Drooms administrator in the sale transaction of a commercial property. I was responsible for uploading a data, review and answering Q&A. Drooms offered a very clear, intuitive interface for me and all other users. Any time, I was not sure how to navigate in the tool, I could call or text to my Drooms project manager and ask for an advice. Drooms can save documents for at least 6 months which was exactly the time we needed to store our data.

Kommentare: Drooms is an excellent platform that is easy to use and provides an unparalleled level of customer service. I had started off trying a variety of VDR's and ultimately switched to Drooms for its simplicity and intuitive structure. Top notch security and customer support at a great rate.
I am recommending Drooms as a reliable and responsible partner.

Great way to organise a data room

Kommentare: Compared to a paper data room this tool is fabulous. Just drag and drop scans or pdf printouts, no more hassle with copies and binders. Just add a name and e-mail address and person has access to the data room. Statistics are easily available. I wouldn't do a due diligence any other way !
