ScrapRight- Review

Vorteile:

I like how easy the software is to use. Who doesn’t like mini iPads? Also the fact that if I need to express a concern or have a suggestion I can talk to the owner of ScrapRight. He and all his employees are there if you need them. Lastly, I like that the platform we use is cloud based so no bulky server.

Nachteile:

On some things you try to do in the system you have to know the exact steps to take but once you become familiar with the system it’s easy peezy

Good Service

Continued problems with some of the weights and frayed out screens.

Kommentare: We have had ScrapRight for about two years now and we are beyond pleased. We had a competitor previously and had nothing but issues. ScrapRight sent a person down to help train staff and set up equipment...... included in our purchase!

Vorteile:

The ability to chat or call someone and get solutions and answer quickly.

Nachteile:

Some features are not available, specific to what our company needs, but manageable without them.

ScrapRight Recycling Software

Kommentare: Fast response and call backs right away

Vorteile:

After 2 days of setting up software and hardware we were up and running with the fastest ticket times in the WEST!

Nachteile:

I would say it was the least, the amount of configuration that was needed to get it up and customized for our particular company..

Tech Support

Kommentare: i rather enjoy operating the system - only have issue when the system updates

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the Technician [sensitive content hidden] who continues to help me with any problems I have and all done in a timely manner

Nachteile:

updates that make my system crash. Would be nice to pay out month end all at once in bulk as opposed to each customer one at a time

the help and service is just fantastic and program are easy to us that i have to call for help with a problem a couple of months and problems are fixed super fast

Nachteile:

having to request help with a problem but it is fixed very fast and proper

Scrapright

Kommentare: Never had any issues with the Scrapright team they are always prompt with their response when you need help and quick to get it fixed

Vorteile:

Easy to use as well as easy to navigate and teach to new employees

Nachteile:

I would say theres just too many counterparts for harwars with the set up but as long as you know how it all relays and works its good

A software program that could go from good to great with some simple tweaks

Vorteile:

It has made working at the scrap yard much easier. We have simplified many processes and no longer have to use physical tickets when dealing with customers so this can make things much faster - when the system is working properly.

Nachteile:

There are small issues that need to be tweaked, the system often has issues that are frustrating and end up costing time. Simple issues such as failure to add tax and overlapping lines on invoices took over a month to fix. I have had the opportunity to use this software for several months on a scrap yard scale and now in an office and while it is getting better, I find I have to go back and check over everything to ensure that mistakes have not been made within the program. Errors have been made where payments were issued to customers erroneously.

BB Recycling

POS system. Buying and Selling is very simple to understand and operate.

Nachteile:

Inventory Tracking. All the regrading that we do has gotten messy over the years.

Vorteile:

The inventory and billing process is easy. I like that it sync's to quick books, when it is working.

Nachteile:

The syncing, I always have to send emails to start syncing with quick books

Scrap King and AMR

Kommentare: We love the weighing portion of this software, overall happy with it, but would like better support on some of the other issues

Vorteile:

The weighing portion is super easy to use, AP and AP ticket review are utilized all the time

Nachteile:

Inventory portion of this program is not user friendly, to many tabs to click back and forth from, having to convert to bol and then again to an invoice is repetitive also trying to correct a bol that is already converted to invoice is difficult. Tickets that are converted to a bol that do not have a tare weight freeze in the system and require IT to fix. We are not to happy with the reports offered either.

Scrap Right is the Right Choice

Kommentare: We have enjoyed excellent service for five years now. They are always willing to improve there product to keep current with technology and industry trends. I look forward to running Scrap Right in all of our future location!

Vorteile:

The ScrapRight Software is the easy to use. Customers are in and out quickly with complete transparency. We can also recall old purchases with easy. This system has paid for its self over and over again! I have it in use at both of my yards and if ever we have a problem tech support is always available to assist.

Nachteile:

Scrap Right is real good about addressing issues and making changes to better fit your needs.

Great product for our small scrap business

Vorteile:

The ease of use! I can have someone trained to use this program within an hour!

Nachteile:

I wish that it would work on an iPhone.

Easy transition- great support

Kommentare: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are very good at what they do and their attention to customer needs is top notch. Good customer service is hard to find and they sure do deliver on that!

Vorteile:

Our team has embraces the transition to ScrapRight very well considering we were using a different software system for 12 years. The set up and integration was very smooth with the onsite help and the ability to integrate existing hardware kept costs and disruptions low. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are dedicated to make sure this is a good fit and help resolve any issues right away.

Nachteile:

We are a little anxious about the system being completely cloud based. So far it seems to be working well but Internet outages are inevitable and we are bracing ourselves for how that will work.

Vorteile:

ease of use. the icons are straightforward and easy to use. when you need to start a new ticket it is very simple and the software is easy to train someone on.

Nachteile:

overall speed can vary at times. meaning sometimes it takes far too long for the software to complete keystrokes.

Kommentare: Accurate inventory keeping, helpful in keeping track of outstanding balances, no need to keep physical copies of customer tickets.

Vorteile:

How programed it is for the scrap industry. Not much has been left out. The material list is extensive, I am never looking for something that is not there.

Nachteile:

The signature pad and finger print scanner have always had issues through out the years. We have replaced them a couple times and still have occasional problems.

Excellent Software for the Recycling Industry

Kommentare: ScrapRight has been a breath of fresh air, as we were using a custom Access DB that doesn't have the features or reliability that ScrapRight has. It has made us more efficient as we can run reports that we didn't have in our other software. We have a better handle on our inventory and our financials.

Vorteile:

The interface is clean and intuitive. Inventory management is really well executed and if we have problems the owner of the company takes our calls or emails and makes it right for us.

Nachteile:

The learning curve on some items such as brokering loads but once learned it is very easy to use.

I've had scrap right for many years now. Durability is excellent. Been easy to use.

Vorteile:

It is user friendly once you understand the system. Provides inventory and record keeping details. That enables me to maintain accurate cost analysis as well as keeping historical analysis.

Nachteile:

At times the system runs slow. Other times part of the system just stops functioning and needs to reboot.

if you looking for any ticket, you can find it really fast, everything is organized by the system, also is not down very often.

Nachteile:

sometimes is really slow and the customers are complaining abou it, I have to call technical support to help me

It’s so user friendly. Easy to teach employees how to use.

Nachteile:

The down time with ID scanner. Every now and then it won’t work

Love This Software

Kommentare: My overall experience has been incredible. The amount of information this software provides is awesome.

Vorteile:

There are too many things to begin to make a list about the reasons I love this software. From it being so user friendly to how personalized you can make it to your specific company. The functionality of this software is awesome and I would recommend this software to everyone in the scrap industry.

Nachteile:

There are zero Cons to this product. I love the software.

ScrapRight > Other Guy

Vorteile:

I switched to ScrapRight from one of their competitors, and unfortunately because of the new tools that ScrapRight provided we found out that my niece and daughter had stolen over $72000 from our company. I hated that this happened, but I am ever grateful to the tools provided by ScrapRight that help me know exactly what is going on in my business. The other software basically helped them to accomplish this. Thank you ScrapRight! I don't believe I will ever be stolen from again

Nachteile:

This was a very painful lesson or me to learn that the right company is worth so much more than what I am paying, it cost a lot of money to figure that out. If you are reading my review, please choose these guys, they literally could save your business!
