Vorteile:

“Geelus is “THE SOFTWARE FOR TAILORS!” Since we started using geelus in 2008 we are truly on top of our business. We know if we have made a progress since the previous year, we know if we need to advertise more, we know which one of our employees are performing better and we’ve never gone back to the pen and paper. I can see the new orders in the system even when I’m driving (although it's not legal anymore;)) We don’t worry about any backups or where the data is stored. IT JUST WORKS. I truly recommend it to all clothing alterations and tailors specially if you are like us an agent for a dry cleaner!

Nachteile:

I can't think of any really. Their original software's full version used to work only on my Mac and PC but their new one works like a magic on my mobile phone and tablet too. We've actually added a new tablet to serve our customers faster. Very cost effective.

Vorteile:

Great customer service, and I like that it can have very customisable receipts, text clients automatically and that it is designed for clothing alterations businesses needs in mind

Nachteile:

I would like to see images updated on the POS

Easy to use Program

Kommentare: I just used this software's Free Trial --- there is definitely a lot of great use and features to running a dry cleaning type business. There were a lot of features that didn't apply to my apparel service business so I decided not to continue using it. For a business with several steps, or processes, including working with others, this software will allow for better productivity.

Vorteile:

You can track most aspects of running your dry cleaning or alterations or service business, including employees, work orders, projects and timelines, charging and receiving payments. I like how you can send emails to your clients. And also you can keep track of employees tasks and how an item is moving along.

Nachteile:

The software was not very compatible with my computer and tablet. The programs shut off during use. Also, I did not like the interface, overall design.

What I Needed!

Vorteile:

I am a one-person home-based business and I love that Geelus gives me the ability to automate many of the tasks I was doing manually such as scheduling and confirming bookings, sending order completion s and messages and sending invoices.

Nachteile:

I would love it if Geelus could integrate with my Google calendar.

Kommentare: The support is extremely communicative and helpful in solving problems and answering queries, supporting ourselves and our franchisees. Some of our franchisees use the system to track the productivity of each employee, manage corporate accounts, quote on complex jobs and others use it as a sophisticated cash register – in our business one size does not fit all and Geelus provided that adaptability.

Vorteile:

Alter- It is a franchise chain of 22 Clothing Alteration and Dressmaking stores located throughout metropolitan Melbourne, in the state of Victoria, Australia. When we set up the franchise business in 2002, we formed a relationship with a point-of-sale supplier, who offered a program owned in the USA. In early 2020, we were informed that the US Company had changed hands and that we had 6 months to find an alternate POS supplier. This major crisis led us to finding Geelus. Our early conversations with Geelus were focused on ensuring that our franchisees would be given considerable freedom in running their own business, setting their own prices, and managing their own reporting and information demands. As a Franchisor and Head Office we wanted access to all the information, but we did not want the management function of each system to be our responsibility. We specifically wanted to “liberate the franchisees to achieve what they each wanted from the POS beyond the minimum functionality of writing a ticket and customer collection of garments. Geelus immediately understood what we wanted and then were very proactive in working with us and our franchisees to deliver the outcome.

Nachteile:

Change is always challenging, and many of our franchisees had used the previous system for many years. Adapting was a challenge but Geelus were supportive, in particular, the support team, in Australia. Our only regret is not switching sooner...

Best costumer service!

[sensitive content hidden] has helped me set up mutiple businesses and is so quick to reply. He’s helped me a lot and made it very simple to set up my business. He’s very patient and passionate with what he does. His former college [sensitive content hidden] just recently helped me set up another business program and I’m very thankful to have so much support. They definitely made it easy for me. So much thanks to them!

Vorteile:

I like that its easy to use and it’s a very simple app that doesn’t over complicate where to navigate what I need.

Nachteile:

I haven’t had a negative experience with Geelus, so far so good!

Best for our Industry

Kommentare: Working with this company has been mostly fabulous. As someone new to running a business I had a hard time learning the system but they gave me extra time with the free trial to get used to it before committing and the customer service has been SUPER helpful. When we launched it at the shop I had to call about 20 times that day and they were super patient and helpful.

Vorteile:

Very specialized for our business and fits a niche that most POS systems do not.

Nachteile:

It's a little clunky getting used to it but the customer service was top notch in helping with that.

Problem solver

Kommentare: Overall I'm very happy with Geelus. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Vorteile:

The system is very convenience and my customers are giving me great reviews about the text messages I send them for their orders. Now my invoicing is very professional, my appointments are automated and customers love the reminders. The entire system is great!

Nachteile:

The appointment cancellation is not supported yet but they promised it'll be there soon.

Very easy to operate, intuitive software. Also online tutorials and ability discuss and solve any issue with customer service live rep.

Nachteile:

None so far. i have not found anything negative.

Great System for our Laundry Shop

Kommentare: Happy with the experience coming feom another system not catered for laundry. The support team is also very helpful in guiding us

It’s versatile, easy to use and it caters to most of my reporting need. I can design product easily

Nachteile:

Probably the interface needs a little bit of updating

The software is easy and use and with very good ongoing improvement

Nachteile:

Pricing on number of orders generated, some business with high volumn of transactions but not necessary generating full profit from the transaction. e.g if you are only an agent of the dry cleaner, but not the dry cleaner.

Made our job easier

Kommentare: Geelus has helped us organize the workflow, organize and find the orders. This helps us keep our customers satisfied.

Vorteile:

The amount of features that are tailored to our type of business is great. Really helps us get our shop organized.

Nachteile:

The only part I would change is how to manage the customer/contacts list.

Best Clothes Alteration Software

Kommentare: The experience from day one was very professional. The service level is exceptional.

Vorteile:

The software is extremely easy to use and very flexible in what you want your staff members to access and what not. We have been using the software for about 5 years now and the support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been fantastic. Despite the time difference, he always responds immediately and deals with any issues quickly. Our staff find it very easy to use and love tracking their own individual production to keep an eye on their targets. Improvements are made on a regular basis making the software more and more versatile. The new booking system and calendar gives you a great snapshot of all your bookings allowing for better control. Management reports are very good and we look forward to an upgrade to consolidate all the sales from all the branches in one place. I highly recommend geelus, its the backbone of our business and we could not do the job we do without it.

Nachteile:

I would not really say its a con but when you initially set up the software to your specification, it is a bit daunting but with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] help, it becomes very easy and now I consider myself an expert.

A lifesaver for a super unique industry - shoe repair and leatherwork!

Vorteile:

Geelus is easy to set-up in a super customizable system. We are such a unique industry that there is no 'base price list' to import from anywhere. Geelus allows us to set up new items easily and change them whenever we need.

Nachteile:

Setting up the printer used to be challenging, but they updated the system so now it's a breeze.

Simple & effective

Kommentare: Really good - every time I have has an issue they have resolved right away via IM, team viewer or voice calls

Vorteile:

Geelus is simple to use but was able to be customised the way we wanted to set up our business. I was able to following their online guide and be set up in a couple of hours. I was able to test out their platform for free as well without any pressure

Nachteile:

With the flexibility you can set up slightly differently - be good to have a template for items

Professional look to my business

Kommentare: The benifits is defenitely the professional look on the till slips.
The detail of every item is important to us and with that Geelus is the best program to use.

Vorteile:

The till slips for customers, stores and non priced slips. I use it every day, its eady to implement, easy to use. Customers love the professional look of it..

Nachteile:

The quotes snd invoicing part was missing. Still I dont know if my client receive the quote email. There is a receipt/delivered message missing on quotes and invoicing. That would be nice to have as well as in the messaging part. Further it is easy to use.

Vorteile:

I like everything. i don't even know what to describe! I can find customers easily, I love the easy prints. I love that I can easily book for the day with confidence. Geelus constantly shows me what needs to be done and how much is left to be done on each day. So I'm always on top of my business. Customers love the text messages and we are getting a lot of complements for sending text messages to the customers and notifying them of their orders.

Nachteile:

I can't think of anything for the moment. I've been using Geelus since 2015 and for nearly 7 years it's been helping me to run my business smoothly.

Vorteile:

How it simplify what I do. Geelus makes managing the jobs simple. I've been in the industry for 20 years and I've been using Count Master 4000 on Windows 98. But my windows was crashed and I lost all my 20 years of data! After looking at other programs there were too complex and didn't fully reflect what I do. When I found Geelus, my prayers were answered. It's simplifying everything and makes managing my work a lot easier. I love how calendar shows me everything in a nice visual way!

Nachteile:

The cons is not having a phone number to call. But so far I've always received a call when I requested it. Regardless now I'm never paying for upgrades or lose my data.

In a nut shell our customers like it, it's top for dry cleaners and it's very easy to track all the orders and zero room for errors. Of course it's easy to use.

Nachteile:

In their old software there was a tool to track the missed orders which is not yet available on the new one.

My questions are always answered and everybody has been nothing but patient and very professional!
I've never experienced any time pressure or been brushed of!..
I can only speak of high volume and absolutely recommend this company to any new and old businesses!

Great service, great software

Kommentare: Overall it has been great experience and customer support has been available every time I needed it and really friendly.

Vorteile:

I just did an SMS marketing to sell Masks for coronavirus and I was flooded with customer calls and I loved it. Great user friendly and customer support.

Nachteile:

It would have been great to see some videos on each and every functionality but unfortunately, it's only in text format and sometimes I have to reach customer service for more information.
