I use TimeCamp daily to track my true hourly wage

Kommentare: Integrating TimeCamp with my business took a few minutes in the beginning. I had to update keywords over a few days to make it a perfect custom fit. Every time I have a new client, I add new keywords - the whole process takes less than a minute.

Vorteile:

I use the time tracking with keywords every day to track how much time I am spending on each client every month.

Nachteile:

I have no complaints. There is nothing I would change.

TimeCamp is a very quick and easy-to-use tool for time tracking

Kommentare: As an office manager, it's very easy to teach our employees how to use TimeCamp and it's also very easy to export the timesheets into an Excel file. Overall a very easy and flexible tool to work with.

Vorteile:

There are different ways to input your tracked time. You can register your tasks in real time or you can input it per day or week. This allows all of our employees the flexibility of tracking the way they want to. TimeCamp's UI is also very intuitive, which makes the tool very easy to use

Nachteile:

At times TimeCamp can be a little buggy. I feel they might have some troubles with their servers sometimes. Luckily this is only in rare instances.

Great tool for time tracking your projects

Kommentare: We have trying to manage better out time spent in projects and understanding which activities are causing delays or need improvement in order for the team to be more efficient. With TimeCamp we are capable to understand exactly which part of the project require more time so we can find a solution and also the saturation of the team so we can distribute workload in a fair basis.

Vorteile:

I fist tried the trial version of this program which is long enough (30 days) and offers a very good overview of all the features of the tool and how much they can be useful (even when you have not consider them before!). Other similar tools are very restrictive with their features during this period. TimeCamp allows you to track the time spent on a project by an employee. It allows you to have multiple seats with different permissions and create multiple projects that can be divided in tasks. It is also possible to allocate just some of the team members to a project . It is not only possible to track projects but idle time and attendance. Reports are are very complete and have many options to filter and present the data you need. The Dashboard allows you to be updated very fast The tool is very user friendly and can be set up just in a few minutes.

Nachteile:

I have tried the Desktop time tracker, which is a nice idea but you are not able to do many things from the widget so you will often have to come back to the website. It would be nice to have the possibility to switch projects or creates new ones directly from there.

Simple, Easy To Use and Solves Time Monitoring Problems within projects

Vorteile:

Being able to simply track time worked on different projects by different business analysts was always tricky, often analysts would be guessinmating at the end of the week. TimeCamp have solved this issue and we can now accurately track and invoice hours spent on each project.

Nachteile:

I cant think of any cons, it does exactly what our org needs to track and manage time. Thank you TimeCamp!

I hate tracking time but for the invoices I must

Kommentare: Other than the blips at times, I like Timecamp. It works and because I can go back and edit recorded times makes the world of difference.

Vorteile:

I've been using Timecamp as an extension to Trello and it's made life so much easier. I can track time on a project at the click of a button and stop that timer in the very same way.

Nachteile:

On Trello I sometimes click stop and think it stopped but then it did not. Like all softwares there's a part of it that doesn't always function because of a weird blip.

Excellent time-tracker & budgeting

Kommentare: Overall, very easy to get started and use yet packed with powerful advanced features. If you want time AND budget tracking then use TimeCamp.

Vorteile:

I use TimeCamp with Trello and it helps tremendously to keep my project on time and under budget. Seeing how long tasks are taking allows constant evaluation and improvement. But, the real differentiator for TimeCamp is budgeting. I used to track project funds on spreadsheets then switch back and forth between another time tracker. TimeCamp allows me to keep everything elegantly in one place. Time is money! Track them both in TimeCamp.

Nachteile:

Some of the advanced features need better tutorials…videos are old and knowledge base is dated. Feature requests for Trello integration: estimate card time before starting timer, show running elapsed time on card while in board view.

Useful Time Tracker for a New Freelancer

Kommentare: It's done everything I've needed to, so far. Outside of a few UI issues, like the button or making the home a better summary of overall time/tasks/clients, TimeCamp is a solid, functional choice for tracking my hours.

Vorteile:

The free version does everything that I need it to. I can create different projects for each client, easily log my time and tasks during the week, and then view a summary of my hours at the end of the week or month.

Nachteile:

It's a small thing, but there you have to press the green "Start" button twice to get the timer to actually begin recording time. I've only pressed it once by accident a few times, and it was annoying to go back and manually track my time again.

A great way to track hours for billing or for tracking time on projects

Kommentare: A great tool for tracking billable hours. Very easy to use, you can set up multiple projects and easily time tracking time for any one of them. You can edit the start and end times.. and enter time manually as well.

Vorteile:

It's super easy to use, very intuitive and flexible. I started tracking my hours in just a minute of opening the app for the first time. The report feature is great... I was able to set it up for a very unusual pay period (semi-monthly).

Nachteile:

The only thing I would improve is the color scheme. Maybe allow custom colors for different project. Sometimes, after tracking a while on a project - it hangs up (in the mobile app)... not allowing me to "stop" the timer. I have to shut it down and reopen it to stop it.

Excellent Time Tracker

Kommentare: I am now able to see where I spend my time and what my working hours are worth.

Vorteile:

The time tracker, the feature I'm using the most to measure my time and budget, works like a charm. Once you've set up the keywords, you don't need to worry about anything else.

Nachteile:

Setting up the automatic time tracking might take a bit of time to get it right, but totally worth it.

Kommentare: TimeCamp has achieved that our employees receive a correct salary depending on the hours worked and accounted for, this platform has allowed our employees to receive a salary according to what they have worked for, in addition, this platform is also capable of accounting for the overtime of each employee, which allows this whole process of posting hours to be done automatically, we no longer have to count these hours manually. I have loved the experience I had with TimeCamp, it has made our employees more productive and it has made it much easier for us to record hours to be paid, I'm satisfied.

Vorteile:

TimeCamp has achieved that we can have a broad control of the time that our employees dedicate to working hours. I love the way in which TimeCamp is capable of detecting the inactive time that the employees spends during the working day, the platform is capable of detecting the time in which the employee is actually working, and it detects the rest hours to account correctly the time you worked and the time you rested. In addition, TimeCamp is also capable of detecting absences, every time an employee does not show up for the workday, TimeCamp sends us an alert, as well as receiving alerts when an employee has already started their workday at the appropriate time. In addition, TimeCamp allows you to avoid distractions, it is capable of detecting when an employee is wasting time on social networks or being distracted by content outside of the working day.

Nachteile:

I don't have any kind of complaint about TimeCamp, this platform has behaved perfectly and has allowed us to improve the process of compliance with attendance during workdays, in addition, the system for accounting for work hours and rest hours has always it worked perfectly, without any complications.

Easy and Flexible to use.

Kommentare: Better tracking of my time.

Vorteile:

There are a lot of time tracking options out there but TimeCamp provides low friction ways to get the job done. It syncs with a bunch of other project platforms (I use Podio) which prevents the need for entering my projects in two systems. It allows tracking both in TimeCamp and also allows import of the data back to Podio which gives me limitless options for tallying by different project elements. As I am not great about entering time as I go I really appreciate the function to track what my computer was doing during a given period (what webpages or applications I was using) so I can update after the fact what time was spent on which project. There are a ton of features to support just about any need. Support has generally be great when called upon to resolve issues.

Nachteile:

As I have the system syncing in projects in Podio and exporting time records back to Podio I do see some delays. If you enter a new project in Podio you must force a sync and often reload the timecamp webpage to see the new project, however, as this is software and not magic this seems reasonable enough. Also, when entering several time events in a row I sometimes have to wait for the system to save which takes a moment or two since it must create a record in Podio at the same time. Neither of these issues would impact someone under more normal use.

Simply the BEST time tracker of anything we've used in the studio

Kommentare: Very responsive customer service. They set a high bar for what I think productivity software (and software in general) should provide. They have been surprisingly responsive to feature requests, and they learly listen to their client-base. It is one of the most well developed platforms I have ever used, and is nearly friction-free. A delight to use.

Vorteile:

• Feature rich for the money. • Great UI. • Seamless integration with Trello for project management.

Nachteile:

Not much to complain about. Maybe a slightly better way to save customized reports by client, but I have an easy workaround for that.

Your best friend when we talk about managing and measuring times

Kommentare: To be able to measure and obtain statistics of the time it takes for each task, to be able to create precise plans for the developments and projects.

Vorteile:

A very useful application in work and personal life too, its greatest benefit is to give you the possibility of accounting and taking statistics of the time it takes for each person to finish a task, allowing concrete and precise planning based on actual times already measured, account also with many other functions, such as knowing what other things each individual does in the working hours, being able to see if he / she is losing a lot of time and tasks that are not required for the company.

Nachteile:

For one as a worker it can be invasive since they can see what you do and what not, you need some freedom in our times and your boss should be able to take this with care so as not to disfavor the welfare of the team.

An essential application in your life and company

Kommentare: When you want to have control of your schedule and that of your employees, knowing how long each person takes a task and thus be able to measure individual effectiveness and as a team, this application is perfect for that.

Vorteile:

It is an escensial application for your personal life and business, it helps you to visualize and reflect on what you invest your time, how long it takes for a task and so know how long it will take for the next time, this also applies to work teams, you can see how long it takes each person in a task, make comparisons, measure times, offer specific development times to your clients since you know how long each task will take and you can also monitor if an employee loses time in things that are work-related, it is escensial.

Nachteile:

For employees can see it as an invasion of personal space, because if you arrive saying that they are losing a certain amount of time on X page they will feel watched and this can bring displeasure to the team, these consequences should be well measured.

Control your time to the fullest, being more productive every day more

Kommentare: It is a very good tool that allowed me to improve in how I manage my time and that of the work team, making more efficient working time and avoiding more time wasting.

Vorteile:

This application is one of the best when you want to improve your productivity, be more efficient in your work time and is applicable to every aspect of your life, both work and personal, allows you to manage your time accurately, schedule tasks, manage the time spent, get graphics to see what task takes more time than desired, or what activity you need to invest more time or which is a loss of it, perfect to carry projects as well as very good for work teams, where they can be assigned tasks, see the time that take each employee and measure the performance of the staff, a very complete and useful tool for many aspects of the day to day.

Nachteile:

This tool is very invasive in a certain way, since it measures each activity that the person performs, and can bring as a discomfort the team, because if it is configured you can say how much leisure time you had and things like this displease the members of the team of work.

Easy and Awesome

Kommentare: I work on many different projects with different cost codes. This allows me to keep track with very little effort. At the end of the week, I run a report in TimeCamp and fill out my timesheet. I've recommended it to all of my co-workers.

Vorteile:

It stops tracking when you stop working. Automatically pauses the timer when you're away from your computer and asks you what you were doing when you come back. The menu in the top bar of my desktop makes it easy to see which task you're on and switch to another task quickly. I only ever go to the website to run reports for my timesheet.

Nachteile:

There have been a few times when it either didn't launch or quit silently and I didn't notice until I needed to switch tasks. Then I had to log in to the website and back-filled my time from memory. Doesn't happen often and I'm not sure what caused it.

The basic integration works fine and i love the interface, but the integrations are inconsistent.

Kommentare: it helps me track my time and my team's. when the app integrations work properly, i'm able to generate reports and give my clients solid estimates based on solid data. but as we're switching to asana, timecamp really falls apart, so i'm really frustrated by the lack of support and communication from your team.

Vorteile:

i love the timesheet interface and easy on/off. the report feature is fantastic. i love being able to copy tasks and leave notes. i actually love this app, but the integrations are so messy and unstable, we might have to move to harvest something i don't want to do, but i think i won't have the choice.

Nachteile:

your customer service / troubleshooting is terrible. i've had problems with the podio integration, but it's nothing compared to mess with the asana integration, which basically doesn't work. no one on the timecamp side helps properly. tickets are opened and lost, and replying to responses is impossible. it's a bit of a disaster on the front. we're thinking of switching to asana and will probably leave timecamp for harvest, which is a pity because there are several features i love with timecamp, esp the timesheet UX and the reports.

Vorteile:

It has many kind of reports. Let you set what program is productive and which one is not. I usually use manual tracking, if I track wrong task, there are feature to move the time to correct task.

Nachteile:

Sometime I create task with same name. Would be nice if it alert me that there are task with similar name exist, and then I can choose whether to continue create it or start the already exist task.

Excellent time tracker for free

Kommentare: When I decided to get the grip on my job productivity, I've studied some ten time trackers with free tariff plans. I choose TimeCamp and I'm happy with it, my working time is now measured in the very way I wished.

Vorteile:

This time tracker covers all of my needs for personal time tracking doing that for free and without ads. Just two clicks - one on a tray icon and another on task name - to switch a task I'm currently working on. Just one double click on the same icon to get a daily report.

Nachteile:

There are minor interface issues that are too small and, I guess, personal to mention them.

Best Time Tracker I've ever used!

Kommentare: I've used at least ten different time trackers. While each one has their own pros and cons, I find this one to completely satisfy my needs. Whoever invented the concept shares my needs.

Vorteile:

Very few clicks to get a project started. I'm able to stay very organized with clients and work performed with tasks, subtasks, and the "Note" available for any task. It takes me just a few seconds to find a project, start the timer and get to work. I use the paid version so I can create timesheets to bill clients.

Nachteile:

No complaints at his time. It works very well for what I use it for.

Keeps a clean record of all the different projects I 've been working on and easy to use.

Kommentare: Self Evaluation of the day to differentiate between productive vs unproductive work also to observe work patterns which helps me to improve on where i am taking more time to complete specific tasks.

Vorteile:

Really easy to switch btw diff projects and cool web dashboard with charts which makes it easy to see what you accomplished and how much time you researched etc.

Nachteile:

UI is janking when trying to look at a specific task for today to fill in the description and the panel open closes very often.

Time tracking without the headache! Perfect for freelancers

Kommentare: I use TimeCamp every single day and I tell everyone I know about it. It's really easy and integrates well over several platforms. The custom reports function is great, so I can see where I'm spending my time throughout a pay period. The days of having a notebook around constantly to track time are gone! Thank you!

Vorteile:

I love the desktop app that tracks what I'm doing throughout the day. When I have to go on the web platform to submit my time, I can view what project I was working on and perfectly categorize all of my work. I can keep track of projects, and I don't have to worry about forgetting to stop a timer! I can even switch projects directly from my desktop with a simple click.

Nachteile:

If I'm not at my computer, it's hard to track what I'm doing. It would be great if there was a way to have it sync to my filming calendar on iCloud or Google, so it knows when I am away. I have the app, and I've used it a few times, but I mostly use the web platform.

Time period based tracking made

Kommentare: The company listens to recommendations and usually impliments them quickly. They regularly request feedback and act on it.

Vorteile:

I work on several different contracts and subparts of those contracts. With TimeCamp it is easy for me to accumulate my time for each billing ID without much work. I click one button to start timing a new work item, select the task, click start and I am off to work. At the end of the job I click one button and that item is fully recorded. Later I can get a detailed report for each billable line item. All of this has made billing for the correct amount of time to the correct project super simple.

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any problems I have had.
