Iperius Backup - eine starke Backuplösung

Vorteile:

Klar strukturiertes Backup und Recovery.

Nachteile:

Gelegentlicher Absturz der Konsole am Backupserver.

Bewertung Iperius Backup

Kommentare: Die Software ist selbsterklärend und kann von jedem Anwender ohne große PC Kenntnisse verwendet werden. Bisher sehr zufrieden.

Vorteile:

Problemlose Installation, einfache Benutzerführung, starten als Dienst, vhdx Datei,

Nachteile:

in den Server Versionen, wenn Iperius Backup als Dienst läuft, ist Iperius Backup immer zweimal gestartet nach einem Server Neustart. Einmal muss dann manuell beendet werden.

Gut, günstig und es funktioniert!

Kommentare: Tolles Produkt mit "Pillepalle"-Problemchen.

Vorteile:

Der logische Aufbau der Benutzeroberfläche. Endlich ein Programm, dass nur wenige Rätsel aufgibt und nachvollziehbar zu bedienen ist!

Nachteile:

a) Leider lassen sich nicht alle Fenster in der Größe verändern b) Der Backup-Fortschritt wird in einem zu kleinen Fenster angezeigt, dass gerne von anderen Fenstern überdeckt wird c) ich vermisse eine umfängliche Erklärung aller Variablen (Button "{}")

Slow Performance on Management

Kommentare: tut was es soll, hoffentlich kommt bald die Beta und das Produkt wurde nicht mit Features kaputt engineered.

Vorteile:

Einfachheit, Strip down auf die wichtigsten Funktionen beim VM/ESXi-Backup.

Nachteile:

Performance bei VCSA mit vielen VMs. Es dauert zu lange 20min um alle VMs einzulesen. Auch dass ESXi-Hosts in Ordnern nicht unterstützt werden, ist hinderlich

Gute Backup Software ohne Container Format

Kommentare: Sehr gut, man merkt aber natürlich den professionellen Ansatz

Teilweise nicht leicht zugänglich, sehr kleines Bearbeitungsfenster, zweiseitige Synchronisation nicht möglich (zumindest nicht gefunden)?

Kommentare: Wenn Sie funktionieren würde, vielleicht gut. Aber so war das wohl das letzte Programm von Iperius.

Vorteile:

Der Preis für die Leistung ist gut. Bedienbarkeit auch ok.Mehr kann ich leider nicht sagen, da die Software nicht funktioniert. Und damit siehe "Nachteile"

Nachteile:

Hyper-V VM Backup. Man kann keine Backups anlegen, die Software crasht dabei. Mit dem Support bin ich jetzt seit 4 Tagen dabei. Antwortzeiten am Anfang 24Std, jetzt kommt gar keine Antwort mehr.

Einfach zu installieren und einzurichten

Nachteile:

Kein Inkrementelles Exchange 365 Backup, das ist leider etwas nervig, da große Mengen an Daten über das Internet verschoben werden müssen und somit kein echtes tägliches Backup möglich ist!

Für Firmen nicht geeignet

Kommentare: Ich habe um vernünftigen Rechnungen gebeten.Wenn ich nach 2 Tickets keine Antwort erhalte, kann ich das Theather mit unsererBuchhaltung nicht rechtfertigen.Newsletter kann man nicht abbestellen. Die "unsubscribe" Funktion ist nutzlos.Wenn die erste Kommunikation zufriedenstellend gewesen wäre, hätte ich 25 Vollversionen bestellt, um Acronis abzulösen.

Vorteile:

Günstig und halbwegs intuitiv. Sonst nichts!

Nachteile:

Der Support beim Kauf und nicht abstellbare Newsletter.

Best backup tool i have experienced

Kommentare: I have used the free version for over 5 years and i like the advanced full version now, am quite happy with this solution that i became a partner to create awareness around the country on how good the tool is for system admins.

Kommentare: Overall its a great product and has worked flawlessly for me and my customers for years. I think I started using your backup 5 or 6 years ago. I've installed on 75 computer systems for myself and my customers. Love the product.

Vorteile:

I like the type of backups available, I mostly use the hard drive image and backup to FTP server. I've used your boot disk to recover multiple systems where hard drives have crashed, via the drive image/clone backup. Worked great. Also like that it can run a service, just have to make sure that you setup to run as administrator. There are just many great features incorporated into your software.

Nachteile:

The one thing that really gets to be a pain, is if you insert a thumb drive or any other device that changes the disk layout. All scheduled backups fail during the list disk part of the backup, cause the disk layout has changed. Even though the drive letters remain the same. Would be great if you could solve that problem. Thats the only con that I have at this time..

30 new versions installed to try to fix a Windows Server incremental backup issue to Microsoft OneDrive

Kommentare: I purchased the software and the ease of installation and setup for use with Mcrosoft OneDrive.
The compressed and protected backups of a Windows server have always worked but unfortunately I immediately had problems with the incremental backups and had to pay for support.
They were very friendly and helpful but I have since installed over 30 new versions to try and fix the problem!
Now I hope it is solved...

Vorteile:

Easy installation and setup. Very light application.

Nachteile:

Paid support. Difficulty setting up the software for use with Microsoft OneDrive.

Kommentare: Excellent, and when support was needed, it was available.

Vorteile:

Affordable, easy to use, reliable. Simple licensing that just works without hassle and without nthe possibility that it can just stop working if the licensine server is unavailable.

Nachteile:

Inability to span tapes. I could use the product on some more sites if it were able to handle multiple tapes or tape drives.

Simplicity, features and cost. Nice to not be paying absurd amounts for a piece of software these days...

Nachteile:

The interface could use a makeover. It's a bit dated, but works fine.

it's easy to use and above all it's in Italian, what I needed was to save hyper-v virtual machines in a simple way and Iperius does it.

Nachteile:

You cannot perform an incremental backup of a Hyper-V virtual machine unless you boot from the machine itself.

Iperius Backup - little know gem of a product

Kommentare: Overall we select this product as our "go to" backup application for new clients.

Vorteile:

Iperius is a very cost effective solution. It is the only backup solution we offer clients now.

Nachteile:

Backing up Exchange server VMs is more complicated than it should be.

e molto versatile e fa diversi tipi di backup su diversi supporti contemporaneamente, la schedulazione e la possibilitá di variare i percorsi sono una caratteristica molto importante per la diversificazione degli strumenti di supporto

Nachteile:

la parte relativa all'update del prodotto é manuale e quindi occorre sempre tenerlo d'occhio ma del resto un update automatico pure deve essere sorvegliato perché potrebbero prodursi effetti perversi sulla validitá dei dati

Iperius works well and great pricing

Kommentare: We needed a reliable inexpensive backup solution to fit many scenarios and Iperius fits that very well. We backup data, VMs, full hard drives, I've restored VMs in a matter of hours, restored individual databases in minutes, its great software, and the free version works for most needs but we use paid for VMs. Support has always been responsive

Vorteile:

We use Iperius for daily backups of all out data, both full daily drive backups and VMs with full then incremental. We backup to a NAS which Iperius does without any issues. i get daily emails and good logs of the backups to easily troubleshoot any issues

Nachteile:

The scheduler defaults do not work for use, but its easily adjusted

Total Backup Solution

Kommentare: Backups, Images saved without issues, Restore backups and images even without issues. I‘m using and therefor selling Iperius-Backup since 2016. At least yesterday ;)

Vorteile:

No problem in storing data/image from hardware PC up to virtual Sever and machines (VM).

Nachteile:

Easy install, update and transite licences, working tool without issues and a fair pricing.
