Meine Lieblings-Kollaborationstool

Kommentare: Als Scrum Master und Agile Coach arbeite ich täglich mit Miro. Gemeinsames Brainstorming, Ideenfindung und Lösungssuche funktionieren genauso wie Backlog Estimation und PI Planning.Für Remote Workshops und Meetings braucht man ein gemeinsames Whiteboard, auf dem man seine Ideen aufschreiben, sammeln und diskutieren kann. Miro bietet hier einfach nutzbare Grundfunktionen (Sticky Notes, Texte, Schreiben) und viele tolle Erweiterungen (Jira-Anbindung, Stoppuhr, Abstimmung, Frames, Präsentationen, ...).Ich nutze Miro für persönliche Brainstormings, für Team-Workshops bis hin zu PI Plannings mit mehreren hundert Personen. Alles ist einfach und intuitiv nutzbar.

Vorteile:

Die intuitive Nutzbarkeit, die Übersichtlichkeit und die einfache Navigation macht es selbst Neueinsteigern leicht, sich zurechtzufinden.Die vielen Funktionen und Erweiterungen (z.B. Voting, Planning Poker, Stoppuhr, Präsentationsmodus) und Anbindungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Jira) machen es mir als Workshopmoderator sehr einfach und helfen mir, meinen Kunden eine ideale remote Workshop-Erfahrung zu bieten.

Nachteile:

Hin und wieder gibt es einige Bugs, bei mehreren hundert bis tausend Elementen wird die Ladezeit sehr hoch.

Unverzichtbar für Remote Teams

Vorteile:

Sehr intuitives Tool für Workshops, Planungssessions und mehr! Stetig kommen weitere Tolle Funktionen wie z.B. neulich die Abstimmungsfunktion hinzu die auf elegante Art und Weise eingeführt und vorgestellt werden.

Nachteile:

Für junge Startups wären zusätzliche Discount Programme wünschenswert.

Tool für Teamwork

Vorteile:

Mit Miro kann ich während eines Arbeitskreises die Ergebnisse sammeln und in geeignete Form bringen, sogar präsentieren. Mindmaps, Tabellen und co nutze ich dabei sehr gerne.

Nachteile:

Bisher noch nichts wirklich negatives aufgefallen

Vorteile:

kollaboratives Arbeiten wird dank Miro stark vereinfacht. Die Bedienung ist trotz zahlreicher Funktionen intuitiv geblieben. Ich kann Miro uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Nachteile:

Die Desktop-Version verlangt sehr oft nach Updates. Das ist manchmal etwas störend.

Super Ideenmanagement tool mit tollem Live-Sync.

Vorteile:

Live-Sync funktioniert fast Sekunden genau. Es gibt viele Integrationen und es ist allgemein sehr benutzerfreundlich und einfach zu bedienen.

Nachteile:

Es gibt Funktionen die in anderen Tools deutlich besser gemacht sind. Es ist eher ein All-Rounder tool, wenn man etwas benötigt, was richtig gut für eine bestimmte Aufgabe wie z.B. Projektmanagement ist, sollte man eine spezifischeres Tool verwenden.

Vorteile:

Die simpel gestaltene Oberfläche, einfache Bedienung und instllation

Nachteile:

Fehlende Diagramme, Stifte und Formen, Vergleich hierzu ist Draw IO

Virtuelle Zusammenarbeit

Kommentare: Perfekt bei Abstimmungen in Videokonferenzen

Vorteile:

Die Zusammenarbeit fällt in Videokonferenzen ganz leicht & bietet eine gute Übersicht

Nachteile:

Am Anfang musste man sich mit der Bedienung anfreunden, bei mehreren Anwendungen funktioniert das ganze recht gut

Super Whiteboard Tool zum Brainstormen und zur Prozess Modellierung

Vorteile:

Miro glänzt durch den guten live sync und die vielen Tools zur Darstellung von Prozessen.

Nachteile:

Ich würde mir wünschen dass ich weitere Schriftarten in Miro benutzen kann, damit die visualisierungen der eigenen Brand-language entsprechen.

Praktisch

Kommentare: Gerade für Anfönger im Remotearbeiten gut geeignet, weil leicht zu lernen.

Vorteile:

Mit Miro kann ich Gedanken sortieren und mit Kollegen denken.

Nachteile:

DGSVO konform ist für meine Kunden extrem wichtig und Datensicherheit wird hier nicht garantiert.

Miro Bewertung

Vorteile:

Fördert die Zusammenarbeit insbesondere in sehr großen Teams.

Nachteile:

Für komplett freue Gestaltung führt schnell zu Unübersichtlichkeit

Miro Features

Kommentare: Ich nutze es sehr of im Studium, lässt sich gut mit anderen Tools zu integrieren.

Vorteile:

Man kann sie intuitiv schnell benutzen. Passt gut um mit vielen Teilnehmern zusammen zu arbeiten. Wunderbar geeignet als ein Brainstorming-Tool.

Nachteile:

Wenn man mit vielen Menschen zusammen arbeitet, ist es manchmal sehr schwer die richtige Arbeitsgruppe zu finden. Eine Aufteilung wäre sinnvoller, wie eine Art Breakdown-Rooms.

Miro is a robust workspace for uniting teams during projects.

Kommentare: Using Miro has been a journey full of success and our investment on this product is bearing us great fruits. We have been able to develop a very productive culture of working on and managing our projects. With Miro, we are able to visualize our work when developing games and this helps us get focused on building very effective and well designed games for our projects.

Vorteile:

Miro unites us when at our workplace by giving us an excellent shared workspace where we collaborate on our games development projects. It also allows us to have clear visualization of the entire games development cycle from planning to the final product. We love using it as it help us organize and plan our work using gantt charts, flowcharts and other product maps. We mainly benefit by staying committed and focused on the right and most important work. It gives us easy to use dashboards where we are able to visualize all our tasks by drawing diagrams to represent them.

Nachteile:

Miro interface is a little complicated and we actually struggled a bit to understand it. But we are glad how the support team took us through the entire journey and they made everything get easier for us.

My experience using Miro as a creative tool

Vorteile:

I think Miro's endless canvas is its strongest suit because it allows users to quickly and easily turn their thoughts into eye-catching visuals. The canvas is an enormous creative playground that may accommodate endless brainstorming sessions, mind mapping, and team projects.

Nachteile:

The learning curve for Miro's more advanced capabilities can be steep, but the app is a powerhouse for visual collaboration. You might need to go a little deeper to comprehend some of the more complex features, particularly if you're working with complicated processes or connectors.

Could be better and simpler to use

Vorteile:

I appreciate Miro's fun and creative features that make collaboration engaging and dynamic, fostering a more visually stimulating work environment.

Nachteile:

I find the platform somewhat complex to use and navigate, which can be a hurdle in quickly harnessing all its powerful collaborative capabilities.

Miro is a fantastic tool for team collaboration

Kommentare: Because of Miro, our team is now able to work together much more efficiently. It allows us to easily record our thoughts graphically and relay them to the other participants in the conference call. No longer is it necessary for us to explain obscure ideas.

Vorteile:

Miro's user-friendliness and collaborative nature make learning about it a pleasure. Its whiteboard features are intuitive, allowing multiple team members to make changes or generate new spreadsheets at the same time with minimal effort.

Nachteile:

The lack of a simple polling option is something I find lacking in Miro. A polling mechanism connected with charts and graphs would make updating charts and adding integer values to tables more efficient.

Can't imagine life without Miro

Miro has been a game-changer in my professional life. Nachteile:

It can be difficult to manage board access for people who aren't a part of your team. Miro offers view-only access, but I've run into trouble getting editable access for non-users.

Miro helps collaborative thinking and visualization

Kommentare: Miro has greatly simplified our ability to efficiently prepare for and address issues with current initiatives. It has reduced the need for back-and-forth emails by providing a more engaging medium for sharing information.

Vorteile:

One of the best things about using miro is that it's just like having a virtual whiteboard to write down and draw out your thoughts. We can collaborate, plan, etc. virtually as my team is all overseas.

Nachteile:

However, Miro could improve this service by adding smart groups and data grouping and upgrading live conversation video.

The best Whiteboard solution so far

Kommentare: When being used to it, using it is very intuitive. I use it often with clients in remote calls. They love to see the progress of a consulting or mentoring process visualized.

Vorteile:

Miro offers a vast number of options and the highest flexibility. Tons of templates, automations, sharing options and AI support are great features.

Nachteile:

The complexity of the systems requires some time to get used to it. It is an unavoidable downside when you want the most functional system.

The power of collaboration, work planning and management lies in Miro.

Kommentare: Miro's gain has been incomparable with the misses. With Miro, we have been able to achieve a successful workspace where we can collaborate on our work as a team, plan our work and visualize how we are progressing with the work. With Miro, we are ensuring that every project we have is completed within the right timelines and everyone is involved in the project.

Vorteile:

There is a lot more that we are able to do with Miro from collaboration, planning and organizing our work, mapping and visualizing our work and much more and this allowed us to reduce the number of products we are having at our infrastructure since we solving multiple problems with just one product. Miro allow us to strategize our work and lay straightforward plans using Gantt chart to direct us on how to go about it. Also, it helps us to map our projects in terms of flowcharts and diagrams for better understanding of how we are supposed to have a systematic flow of work delivery.

Nachteile:

It being a robust product with multiple functions in it, sometimes it get a little confusing on which features you are supposed to choose for your work.

Miro is a resourceful tool for planning and managing work.

Kommentare: We have been getting the best experience with Miro one which we have never complained about. It allows us to bring our projects on tabs which allows us to take control over what happens and when. It allows to monitor project work and compare them with the plans to see whether we are heading to the right direction. This allows us to finish projects within the budget and timelines.

Vorteile:

Miro has become a part and parcel of our daily work and the reason for this is how incredible it is in helping us manage our workflow. It gives us all the resources we need to formulate excellent work plans which includes Gannt charts to help us perform our work strategically. And to make it even better, Miro allows us to come together as a team and collaborate on our tasks which is an exceptional way of ensuring work efficiency and productivity.

Nachteile:

Miro has many great features which are all easy to use. However, with such a back load of features, the dashboard does not look clean and can be confusing at times.

An app I've been looking for, modern diagramming done extremely well

Kommentare: I'm a designer by profession and am used to design tools, and this feels like one, but one that is very easy to grasp and seems to know what it is that you want to do. Definitely the diagramming app that I've been looking for the past 2 decades. Thank you Miro team for making this, the other apps before were just so clunky.

Vorteile:

It's very intuitive. It responds in a very fluid and responds in ways that it seems to know what you're trying to do. I've used other diagramming tools for the best part of this century, like Visio, Lucid, Omni, and all of them were just so clunky and restrictive, they have very strict ways of working and are very 'enterprise' orientated, like made for The Office, and so I would use vector apps like Sketch, of Flash (before) in order to make diagrams. But then, I stumbled upon Miro, and it was like dafaq? This is the app I've been looking for, and it worked in ways that

Nachteile:

Honestly, nothing. A few small things, but they that have been ever so slightly irksome that I fail to recall.

Miro changed the way I do University and Work

Kommentare: Since I use Miro, Teamwork is too easy to manage. It changed the way we share documents, images, sketches and ideas. It is like a real White board where you can embed almost anything and collaboration in real time is such a great feature.

Vorteile:

As an architect I love to have an organized and free Workspace. Miro is that amazing virtual workspace. I like a lot tools like Pen, Frame, Shape, Mind Maps, Kanban, Tables, etc. These tools do their job and are extremely easy to use and undestand. Presentation mode is a pppfff , it´s amazing , I love it, It´s so versatile. Video chat is a great tool, is very important for teamwork. In general, the App is very complete and has a big potential.

Nachteile:

Well, as creative guys, we need many tools to express our ideas. I´d like to see tools like 3D on Miro. Tools related to Interior design, industrial design, architecture. I mean, tools that allow us to create what we´re thinking , what we see on our imagination. Because the creative process is what makes the difference. It comes to mind tools like 3D , complex shapes, to embed VR and AR docs, maps, idk... maybe not a tool but other Apps conected.

Excellent multipurpose software with functional features

Kommentare: An array of tools and templates for specialized purposes make it simple to get started, and it's simple to find what you're looking for when you do. Vorteile:

Any product designer, UX designer, UI designer, or member of a remote design team should have a copy of Miro on hand. It's a great tool for design thinking, brainstorming, and whiteboarding. Their great templates will also assist any novice get started and hold fruitful meetings.

Nachteile:

For freelancers on a tight budget, Miro might be prohibitively expensive. For established agencies, though, this is ideal. Even though a voting tool was recently added to the product, a wider range of interactive elements would help us better engage audiences and create better workshop experiences.

Best collaboration tool

Kommentare: Overall experience is great. Even if during this pandemic situation we used this a lot for any kind of discussions or any kind of meetings to clarify the stuff. This is the best tool for IT , Project management as well as Leadership.

Vorteile:

Any Graph or flow chart or anything we wanted to discuss in the team for that Miro board is the best tool. Good for retrospective meetings and share the views with the limited time duration because it has a timer feature that is great. Great inbuild templates available for any kind of flow chart or creating diagram. Great export methods of the dashboards which can be easily shared between the Team. Great feature of Kanban creation. Overall the best tool for collaboration between the team.

Nachteile:

Sometimes while giving tag to the component on the dashboard the name giving feature is not showing up. We need to click so mane times to come up. Limited shapes are available for Diagram. Standardized UML shapes are not available.
