Vorteile:

I use FotoNotes for my daily works, it saves me a lot of time uploading and submitting pics.

Nachteile:

Still, there are bugs and unfortunately, there is no zoom on camera

Nachteile:

I would like an easier copy paste feature for moving pre work pictures to post work inspection template. This would make it much easier and automated to build post work inspections

I use FN to create templates and PDF reports for home inspectors

Vorteile:

Ease of use, simple UI. I like the fact that we can use it for scheduling, template creating, PDFs etc all in one.

Nachteile:

I find myself creating workarounds in place of functionality that would be ideal (i.e. more robust conditional fields (if, AND, OR, ELSE statements...etc). It would also be great to be able to change/edit fields in bulk - to avoid making manual updates to many, many fields.

Overall, positive experience

Kommentare: I have been working with Site Capture for many years now. Many good additions and progress has been made over the years. I think it is a good product and with continual advancement can become a great product.

Vorteile:

The customization of the templates, ability to filter by most important fields, adding photos to specific line items, tags and chat features. Also, the ability to look at work orders by property is helpful

Nachteile:

I think it is still missing some features that would make it a great product. For example, the ability to parse out a projects into smaller work orders and have visibility to the completion at the entire project level. It can also be cumbersome to look through larger work orders, especially with many photos since it runs a little slower in those cases. It is usable on your mobile device (in the field) but definitely not easy/convenient to navigate.

Solar O&M Loves SiteCapture

Kommentare: We love using it for Solar Operations and Maintenance.

Vorteile:

Direct date entry for staff that works in the field. Mobile capabilities.

Nachteile:

We wish it had a thermal camera extension.

BEST app for solar industry sales and service

Kommentare: Very positive. Very user friendly, even for least capable users and customers.

Vorteile:

Ease of use as ADMIN and as field user on mobile device.

Nachteile:

requests for updates on relevant changes are too slow. Been user of SC for years with many update requests. Most are very slow or still not available.

SiteCapture for Solar Installer

Vorteile:

The ability to stay organized with multiple users both W2 and contractors all in one spot with regard to surveys both pre and post project installation across 50+ projects monthly along with surveys for each of those projects prior to isntallation.

Nachteile:

Templates are "go forward" with updates and do not allow updates to active or completed surveys so a hard cut date must be defined and enforced. This is especially challenging when using contractors who may already have had templates set up for work to be completed as they must create new surveys each time there is an update.

Great options for multiple applications

Vorteile:

We use SiteCapture for several purposes, from site surveys for roofing, solar, batteries, & generators, to funding packages sent to lenders and photos for third party inspections. Our team leads are able to create different templates for our various user and job types in SiteCapture, ensuring the correct photos are taken for each application. We also appreciate the high resolution that's maintained, bulk downloads, and timestamps.

Nachteile:

The creation of templates is a little confusing, and it could be easier to "deactivate", overwrite or delete old templates that aren't relevant any longer. Also, a quick option to send a new invite email or link to an existing user would be helpful. Currently, if a user loses their login details, we have to go in and manually change their password from the office rather than a more secure link/email sent directly to the user.

Contractor uses sitecapture for every job

It has improved dramatically over the years. It's very simple to use, and the worst thing about it was syncing photos on your phone after not using the app for a few days but they resolved that problem and we run our entire business documentation of projects through sitecapture

Kommentare: I use it for renewable energy projects, and it meets all the requirements from the beginning to the end of the project.

Vorteile:

The ability to upload photos in different sizes, with the option to upload them offline and synchronize later.

Nachteile:

At the moment, we are utilizing the necessary resources and have not encountered any issues that would cause us to dislike it.

Very Efficient Software

Kommentare: I've been utilizing SiteCapture in the last four years with my company and overall the experience has been good. Other than the frustrations of not being able to find entries at times, everything else works smoothly

Vorteile:

I enjoy the ability to build out templates so the information required can be added/removed as needed. Also really like the ability to download the entry into a report with all the photos included.

Nachteile:

Difficulty searching for projects - they do not always come up when searching even just a keyword within the entry - like customer's name (first or last) or the address #

Great software for managing inspections

Vorteile:

The data model schema is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to work with. SiteCapture offers excellent performance with virtually no downtime, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience.

Nachteile:

When downloading unit data, there was no option to download everything in one go. Instead, we had to batch downloads by applying filters and specific criteria.

Video Feature Could Add more Value to Site Capture

Kommentare: Overall, it is a good experience. By using the APIs, it is super easy to fetch any information from any project we can.

Vorteile:

How user-friendly is, especially for operations crew.

Nachteile:

It is lacking a video feature. In other words, it would be amazing to at least show videos in our Site Capture, in case we want home owners to take pictures or get information, and videos are a great way to show the process.

Site Capture Review

Vorteile:

The ease of building work templates and adding photos.

Nachteile:

No project list available to browse from the mobile app.

The FotoNotes Team partnered with me to ensure they provided exactly what I required.

Vorteile:

It's adaptability. After they set up my initial forms, I have the ability to go in and alter the forms are create new ones. They have a "conditional logic" feature that proved an invaluable tool for one of my departments who historically struggled getting the proper information from customers. Mostly, anytime I have an idea or a need, they are always willing to find a solution. It's not just a business relationship, it's a true partnership.

Nachteile:

I use this software to document punch list items on small deliveries (any damage or incorrect order etc...). This only uses a small portion of what FotoNotes is capable of so I may not be the best person for this question. For my large projects where there are multiple punch list items and requires the ability to import CAD drawings, FotoNotes currently does not have that capability. That's not a knock on FotoNotes, it's not what their software was intended for.

FotoNotes helped us revolutionize our field work by adding robust mobile capability.

Vorteile:

The ability to create and customize our own forms to meet our various client's requirements in a real-time manner extremely beneficial. We were able to connect FotoNotes as our mobile application to an existing internal application via the API which made integration very simple. Also, all of the meta-data captured with the photos including date/time stamp, username and GPS location has proven very valuable to us in preventing fraud attempts.

Nachteile:

There is not much that I don't like about the software. I wish the web interface for admins/managers was a bit faster. Also some more robust reporting capabilities would be helpful, however we can get at most of the raw data and manipulate it into the reports we need currently.

The FotoNotes mobile inspection platform has helped modernize our Field Operations team nationwide.

Vorteile:

Ease of use for team members out in the field is unbeatable. Configuring various custom inspections that are tailored for our business is very intuitive and can be done by an operational manager, without needing to know software coding. The ability to quickly create customized inspections and roll out an easy to use mobile inspection platform has allowed our organization to move away from paper forms and disconnected digital pictures. The FotoNotes sales and support teams have always been very accommodating and easy to work with. Working through unique business problems or getting assistance for users in the field has always been easy.

Nachteile:

The job estimating platform works, but is not as robust as some other software. Customized reporting on inspection results can be done through some basic filtering, but could be enhanced.

FotoNotes has been the perfect tool for our business needs.

Vorteile:

Easy to use; customizable; we have the ability to configure forms as needed; Integrated with our primary tool. Team is fully dedicated if issues are identified. Working with such a wonderful team is a bonus!

Nachteile:

Price is expensive for the industry we are using it in (REO Asset Management). Also, the fact that vendors have to have a different ID for each client account makes it challenging on our vendors that use fotonotes across multiple clients.

FotoNotes offer simplicity

Kommentare: Overall experience with FotoNotes has been outstanding, its convinent, allows employees to work quicker and saves time.

Vorteile:

I thoroughly enjoyed using FotoNotes because of the simplicity the software offers its users. It has turned hectic into easy. I like that the software is able to be used by employees from there phones instead of worrying about carrying around a bulky laptop . Forms can be electronically sent saving time and money.

Nachteile:

No complaints I am sure as time grows there will be more added to the software for now it works great
