Great for Automation and User Input.

Kommentare: We are managing an IT Support line through tickets that are requested in our app.

Vorteile:

It's a great alternative to automation on administrative processes saving a lot of time for our team. We have connected our Powerapps to Interactive reports in PowerBI which has allowed us to gain visibility in our Overall KPI'S.

Nachteile:

It still has some improvement to be done such as allowing Pop up alerts and making the PDF Viewer a estable solution instead of Beta.

PowerApps is great No code low code platform by Microsoft

Kommentare: I loved this product and time to market is very less. We can deliver one fancy App in One month and meet customer requirements.

Vorteile:

Comes with Three flavor canvas App/Model Driven App and PowerApps Portal. Very easy to start onboarding the developer as every thing can be configured in cloud. Many default features like camera/Bar code reader Gallary controls which are very handy while developing Apps. Provides way to connect to different line of business data like SharePoint/SQL/Oracle /Excel sheet/OneDrive etc which comes very handy. In bulid layouts available for Mobile /tablet view

Nachteile:

Pricing is bit concerning one comes using premium connector like SQL connector . providing option for developer to work in VS and allow multi developer scenario where many developer ca work on same app at same time.

Great creative problem solving.

Kommentare: Great, we are constantly able to have business users involved with building solutions they can then drive adoption for.

Vorteile:

Allows the general business user contribute but being involved in the SDLC at a dev level

Nachteile:

Limited in the design and ux features. The apps need to be more responsive to invite more use case

A good app but with a good room for improvement

Vorteile:

It's really easy to use, even people who are not used to programming can easily build an app. Its drag-and-drop programming sort of type makes everything easy.

Nachteile:

It does not perform very well. Despite a good internet connection, it takes a lot of time to open the app in its online editor. Moreover, the application freezes from time to time, so if you don't have auto-save enabled or if your changes did not hit the minimum amount of time required for the auto-save, you risk losing your changes.

Kommentare: Fue mi paso siguiente para adentrarme en programación, luego de pasar por las hojas de excel. Permitiendome ascender un nivel en la complejidad de la programación y la creación de herramientas para ser utilizadas en las diferentes etapas de los procesos de mi organización.

Vorteile:

Por la facilidad para configurar la herramienta, ademas de poder trabajar sobre herramientas de Diseño en su interfaz.

Nachteile:

Que es tan versatil que requiere comenzar a trabajar desde cero en la idea de un aplicación o automatizacion de procesos.

The best software on the market for small and large solutions

Kommentare: PowerApps can solve many different problems across business workstreams, from supply chain through HR. With this great scalability and functionality richness, each software built on PowerApps can look differently, but still it will meet the business expectations.

Vorteile:

What I like most about PowerApps is its scalability and a wide variety of functionalities. As a LCAP application, it can be used to build small solutions without the need of deep technical knowledge of code. More importantly, PowerApps can serve as a great meanse to build more robust solutions that offer many functionalities and API connectors.

Nachteile:

I first started using PowerApps for customizing SharePoint forms, which sometimes doesn't work as expected. I have had a few situations, when the PowerApps customized forms collapsed and Microsoft technical support struggled to find the root cause.

PowerApps HR

Kommentare: We needed better software from what we were using from our previous HR. I only used the previous program a few times and PowerApps seems much easier and convenient.

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to use for my employees. It is necessary that they can figure out the software on their own and not raise any tickets for our support team.

Nachteile:

I think the layout could be improved a bit. The install was easy but had a few kinks that we needed to work out. In the end, it works as intended.

Versatile and simple tool

Kommentare: It allows end users to have a customized tool that integrates data from different sources and with an appropriate approval system. We eliminate the email for day-to-day management.

Vorteile:

The software for the end user allows us to obtain a tool tailored to our needs. Integrating database, programming and an approval system. All online and with integration with MO 365

Nachteile:

The visual appearance is improvable. It takes a long time to load the data at startup.

A Newbie Coder's Dream

Kommentare: I created a "shopping cart" application for the end users in the company to be able to request for specific hardware. I thought I would have to use Power Automate to link all the functions I wanted, but PowerApps had everything I needed!

Vorteile:

PowerApps is soo easy to use. It only took me 2 weeks to create a fully functioning application. Once I full grasped the concept, I was really able to enjoy building out an app.

Nachteile:

When I attempt to write a formula out and get an error, I wish the error stated how the function worked, instead of just stating why it's wrong.

Effective tool for coordinating tasks between disciplines on projects. Easy way to check off items so that team can communicate what's completed and what's remaining.

Nachteile:

Missing a back button on a few screens that makes navigation more difficult.

Create apps within hours with less technical expertise

Kommentare: It is a nice tool to create apps for your office/Business needs.It has a better connectivity with all the office apps as it is part of the same package.The platform is user friendly and anyone can use it.

Vorteile:

Its a super good tool comes along with Office 365 package.Users can create business apps easily by selecting the data sources as excel/SharePoint list or any database.Easy customisation of apps.Less coding is required.Microsoft is conducting free sessions to learn the tool.

Nachteile:

Apps works a bit slow. All the users required a licence to view/use the apps. Supporting materials are very less in the web to explore more.
