Membership tracking and billing system is straightforward and user-friendly

Great starter system

Kommentare: I like that this system was a one time payment and fairly easy to use but in the end it was the poor customer service that made us change products. I found it difficult to get information when I had questions, felt like I was treated like I was stupid when I did ask questions and lost money because of it. We purchased the card swip- but never figured out how to use it. Purchased the finger printer just to find out, after several iritating phone calls later, that we had to spend another $200 for the authorization to use it. That would have been helpful information when we purchased it. In the end, we just gave up and went with another comparny that gave us the support we need so we understand the system. I'm sure this system works great but after using it a year and a half without understanding it fully- we gave up.

Kommentare: This is our second try at some form of Membership software and it has been a much better experience than the last software and we hope to see continued options offered through MIS in the future.

Integration was fluid and the product does offer easy of use for staff and members.

Nachteile:

Have been told they are working on multi day registration, but have not seen it implemented yet. Payment and renewal e-mails do not seem to be effective either.

Great software for managing our small club

Kommentare: We are a small Pistol & Rifle club that has 24 hour access and no employees, just a volunteer board. We previously had spreadsheets and a mass email program. We kept losing members. Now with this software we are not losing members at all. It's easy to use and the time to manage members is 1/4 of what we spent and income numbers are accurate. Multiple people are also able to manage the members so we can distribute the work load.

Vorteile:

I love that I can manage the club from my house. We are so much more efficient in 1 piece of software than 3 or 4. Everything you need is available in an easy to use package.

Nachteile:

A few things still seem obtuse to me. I'd love a manual or some videos on how the features work.

MIS was the first software we integrated at our fitness facility, the process was easy to set up and we had fantastic customer service throughout the process and still to this day. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was there to assist me in all of my confusion and guide me through the entire system. I grew fond of the system it is definitely very easy to use.

Nachteile:

To every software, there are pros and cons. This system is mainly for memberships; everything we needed for our members was there and worked perfectly, but since we are a personal training facility and there is not much specification or customization towards that, we have decided to part ways as we try to grow our training business. There is also not a lot of reports to see, I have been having to keep an airtable sheet with all the information and keep track of it like that. There is a report tab but it was limited towards the areas I wanted to see.

Kommentare: Overall I have found this system to work well for us and I can call anytime to get the help I need.

I like most is that I am able to talk to Gerry when ever I need help with the system. That is a rare find there.

Nachteile:

The one thing I don't like is that when I freeze a client they still show up as active. I wish they works just be counted as frozen and not included in our active count.

Vorteile:

Though we do not use this software in a typical way that others may it works perfect for the human service program I direct. It is flexible and powerful to meet our data needs and that is ahuge plus. The other best thing about this is the support staff are super responsive and kind. I love working with them and they are always willing to adapt and make changes to suit our needs. Can't say enough good about my expereince with them.

Nachteile:

There are a lot of features and many we do not use. There isn't really a least for us because anytime we want something to work better or differently for us they are right there making it happen.

Aquatic Management

Vorteile:

I like the option to have an online management system.

Nachteile:

The person who helps us with our software is helpful, but I feel like there is little help available. There are no tutorials, help buttons, etc... It is very confusing to set up, and to help members with their issues. The ability for the patron to be able to sign up online is very confusing.

Great Support and Ease of Management

Vorteile:

I use this software daily as a gym membership database. The customer support has been wonderful. The reports and upkeep of the program is noticeable and easy to use. The system has helped to manage renewals of annual memberships for around 5,000 plus users. They have helped me create reports tailored to what I need. Would recommend!

Nachteile:

No cons at this time. I am happy with the customer support and the functions of the program.

MIS Works GREAT For Our Zumba Studio!

None After EXTENSIVE research, all the software I could find for gyms, fitness centers, dance studios, etc. were way too expensive and they had so many bells and whistles I would never use. All I wanted was a system to keep track of my memberships and class packages, as well membership stats (date and time of sign-ins, number of students in a class, number of members at any point in time, the date membership expire ,etc. etc. etc.). I also wanted to be able to get some financial reports, such as payments received, broken down by cash, credit card and check. And of course, the cost of the software was very important. I downloaded the free demo and figured I would set it up and see how it functioned. I gave it a good workout and it seemed to fit my needs. More good news! The system is very inexpensive (a fraction of the cost of its competitors I could find). So far so good. Lastly, I wanted to talk to someone currently using it. I contacted Jerry, and he was kind enough to give me the name and number of a Zumba studio in Florida to talk to. The owner of that studio was VERY helpful. She spoke very highly of the software, and even took the time to tell me each feature she was using, and how it worked for her. I did my test of the free download over Labor Day weekend, 2011, and it seemed to handle everything I was looking for and then some. By the following Monday, I purchased the software and was using it at the studio. MIS worked unbelievably GREAT!!! Since then, I've learned more by using. There are a few minor things I would like to see changed in terms of filtering reports and making changes to existing information. Nothing I can't work around, and may or may not matter to most users. In summary, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this software.

Very pleased with MIS

Kommentare: The ease of use for our staff allows me to spend less time training and correcting errors. The ability to schedule recurring emails saves me a lot of time as well. The customer services is second to none. Rep is always very prompt in responding if ever I have an issue and great about finding us solutions.

Vorteile:

The best thing about MIS is that it's easy to learn and very uncomplicated to use. We used to use EZFacility, which was for more complicated and less user-friendly than MIS. We frequently found ourselves using fields and other features in convoluted, unintended ways just so we could keep track of everything we wanted to because there was no way to customize anything. MIS's custom questions feature allows us that flexibility. All of our employees have been able to master the system very quickly. We've had it for almost a year and staff still comments on how much easier MIS is than EZFacility.

Nachteile:

Reports can still use some work. Sometimes the spreadsheet is unusable for us because of the way the data appears.

Absolute superb customer service and product!

Vorteile:

We have been using MIS since 2011 and can't fault how easy it is to use. We have an old school bodybuilding gym and have integrated it with our door controls! Computer crashed a few times and emailed customer service who responded lighting quick!

Nachteile:

None the system is self explanatory. If only I could change the phone input to UK type and same goes for the currency.

The scheduling system is easy and user friendly for individuals who may not be very technically savvy.

Nachteile:

It is frustrating having to manually plug in every time slot that I am available to train clients. If I am working an entire day, it would be nice to be able to select all of the time I am working.

Super Software from Shallowford Lakes Pool

Kommentare: I have to say I totally shopped around for a software for our pool memberships. We are bringing our pool association to current times. After shopping I spoke with Jerry on this software and it sounded like everything I was looking for and more. I feel one of the best features was the fact you do not have to have the internet to use this software that was a super big plus for us also do not let me leave out the price well it was perfect! This software is awesome it is super easly to use and if you do have any problems they are always there to help even when I had some dumb questions he always had an answer. I would recommend this product highly to anyone who is looking for a software for any type of membership and the ease to run reports is great, it breaks it down to what you really need to see, I love love this software and have bragged about it to several people. There is a lot of pros to this software and honestly I have not found a con as of yet and do not think I will we love it!

MIS is so easy & convenient

Kommentare: My name is Jessica. I recently opened up my own group fitness exercise studio. I am a VERY small business that is only opened a couple of hours a night after the work day when most working women have a chance to exercise and enjoy group classes. I looked into several software programs to help me keep track of my members but I liked MIS the best because they have online tutorials to help you and because their are no monthly fees. You can have as many or as little members and you only pay the flat rate at the beginning. I really like MIS and am very happy with my decision. It keeps track of members log-ins and you can generate reports such as which classes are best attended, etc... It easily alters both the patrons and myself when a membership expires.

Everything we asked for!

Kommentare: Opening and operating a fitness facility of any sort is always a challenge, especially in the workplace. When we introduced our 400+ members to the ease and consistency of the MIS system, we were more than pleased with the result. As with most new programs, we've had a few hiccups. Without exception, the MIS customer service team has ALWAYS come through for us. Overall, program and attendance tracking have been simplified for our staff, and our members love the photos attached to their files -- the photos mean that they don't have to keep track of their ID cards on the fitness floor. For the staff, those photos allow us to readily identify members in case of emergency -- a definite PLUS in a workplace facility.
