Gutes Werkzeug für Mind Mapping und die Organisation von Plänen und Ideen

Kommentare: Es ist ein einfacher Weg, um alle Ideen und Mindmaps festzuhalten. Wir können einfach planen und die Konzepte sehr leicht ordnen. Ich habe viele Prüfungen mit Mind Map bestanden.

Vorteile:

Es ist sehr benutzerfreundlich und sehr einfach. Obwohl ich eine begrenzte kostenlose Version verwendet habe, hat es viele Funktionen. Wir können die ganze Mindmap leicht teilen und auch in der Cloud speichern. Es kommt mit allen Funktionen wie Auto-Arrangement, Hinzufügen von Kommentaren, Symbolen, und es kommt mit vielen Benutzervorlagen zu beginnen.

Nachteile:

Die mobile Version und die Laptop-Version unterscheiden sich ein wenig, d.h. in der Benutzeroberfläche. Es ist eine komplett alte Version in schwarz-weiß, es gibt nicht viele Farben.aber für Mindmapping und Ideen ist es ein wunderbares Werkzeug.

Einfaches MindMap-Tool

Kommentare: XMind war früher mein wichtigstens Mind-Mapping-Tool, ist aber in die Jahre gekommen und kann nicht mit FigJam oder Miro mithalten.

Vorteile:

Das Tool ist schnell installiert und alle wichtigen Diagramme kann sich einfach als Vorlagen für eigene anlegen.

Nachteile:

Mixt man verschiedene Diagramme, kann man das nur durch einzelne Bearbeitung von Knotenpunkten vornehmen, was sehr zeitaufwändig ist. Eine Mischung aus Diagrammen und Grafiken mit mehreren unterschiedlichen Verbindungen ist nicht möglich.

Xmind, is an incredible cross-platform tool to manage mind maps.

Kommentare: Its way of managing the flow of generating and documenting an idea is very flexible, in addition to the fact that it's really easy to share the results with the rest of the organization; through the pitch mode, to mention one of the most striking, it is possible to adopt creatively this platform within the organization.

Vorteile:

One of the most outstanding aspects is that this multiplatform really guides the work team in the organization to achieve clarity in the generation of an idea for a service or a product and, since normally, when we work on something new, we have a lot of information dispersed, and creating mind maps in Xmind helps us simplify and focus on the information we really need to reach a consensus.

Nachteile:

Xmind has been concerned with allowing collaborative work regardless of the operating system or platform used by our organization, in addition to integrating the most important file managers, so this will facilitate adoption in the company, and the more integrations are achieved, the more flexible and easier it will be to work without obstacles.

Great for cross-platform mindmapping. Otherwise, flawed.

Kommentare: Xmind is gorgeous, relatively intuitive, and produces great results. If it existed in a vacuum I'd say it's a no-brainer to recommend. However, it's operating in a world of much cheaper, more polished alternatives, with much better data control. So it's hard to recommend.

Vorteile:

Unlike other tools that I've tested, and ultimately chosen over Xmind, Xmind's biggest strength is in its cross platform support. This is great for people and teams who work across Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS devices.

Nachteile:

Xmind really falls behind other vendors when it comes to data control; it has relatively weak support for file formats and doesn't appear to support OPML or Markdown export which is crucial for using mind maps as part of a sophisticated document authoring workflow.

One step forward two steps back.

Kommentare: I used to love using this program to help me come up with ideas and keep track of various strategic subjects in an easy to communicate way. They have since made the things they were best progressively worst to the point where I find the majority of designs distracting from a business presentation standpoint.

Vorteile:

I have really come to enjoy the ability to present using the new Xmind. I find a lot of the new features have been useful: import/export, presentation, etc.

Nachteile:

The new SaaS model is clunky compared to the last version I used (Xmind 6). Previously, if I wanted to make business presentations the process was streamlined and easy for me. Today, I get bombarded with useless options that are irrelevant to making a professional mind map presentation. What used to take me seconds to do in terms of setup now takes me minutes. Quality has really dropped.

Powerful visualization tool to organize your ideas

Kommentare: I loved using XMind to create mind maps due to its simplicity, clean UI and export functionality. Its free version is great for individual use, even though it has limited features available. If you need a tool to organize your ideas and visualize them in a structured way, then XMind is a wonderful option.

Vorteile:

XMind is a great visualization tool that allows you to create beautiful mind maps. I have used XMind for over an year to create flow diagrams, charts, mind maps, hierarchies, project timelines etc. You can use prebuilt templates and add icons, images, comments using drag and drop functionality. You can easily share and export your file in any desired format like HTML, .pdf, .txt, .xls, .rtf etc. I absolutely love the Presentation mode.

Nachteile:

XMind is not flexible when it comes to arrangement of the elements of any diagram. Also, you will face some issues in performance (i.e. significant lag), if the size of your mind map/diagram increases beyond a certain limit. Though XMind is a fairly simple tool to learn but it still needs some time to get used to the menu icons and its features.

The best mind mapper- XMind

Vorteile:

XMind is one of the best mind mapping software that I have used. The following are the features I like the most. 1. Easy to use: XMind is displaying inserting options on the top of the window, and easy to add topics, subtopics and relationships. 2. Many formatting options are available even in the free version. 3. It is possible to add screenshots, images, summaries, boundaries, attachments, etc. in the mind map. 4. Easy zoom in and zoom out. 5. Larger space to create the mind map 6. It is possible to add audio notes.

Nachteile:

When formatting a topic or subtopic, ensure consistent formatting across all items at the same level. For example, if one subtopic is bolded, all other subtopics under the same topic should automatically be bolded as well.

It is very helpful in not only task management but also mind mapping and idea management.

Nachteile:

With XMind, it has been flawless and no dislikes.

Kommentare: I'm very happy with the ability XMind has given me to look at my ideas from a different perspective than what most other task management tools allow. The mind map format works better for me, and XMind is definitely the most advanced one out there

I love how advanced the customization features are. You can very easily add elements, su-elements, labels, notes, etc. I find that being able to add all these different things goes a long way to prevent you from forgetting your thoughts

Nachteile:

There are a lot of different uses for XMind, but you kinda have to explore everything on your own. I think it would be good if there were more advanced onboarding flows.

Amazing Mind Map Tool

Vorteile:

The UI is amazing very well designed so that you can quickly take ideas that are in your head and get them transferred to a mind map. The built in styles are great, amazing colours and fonts plus the ability to change the preset style with 1 click is great. Also like that they have an online version and a downloadable version for OSX.

Nachteile:

Not much to dislike however it would be good if they made more preset layouts for each type of Map eg the Matrix and Tree table layouts only have 3 preset designs each.

Excellent tool for managers

XMind is more than just a mind mapping tool. It's everything I need in a productivity tool.

Kommentare: XMind is very good tool with self explanatory UI. With the complete set of templates for various requirements, presentation mode to have a brainstorm session with the team, gantt chart mode for project management (just like Microsoft Project), embedding picture/audio/attachment in the node, export to pdf or image, It really helps me to complete my daily job in gathering requirements, discussion with the team, brainstorming, presentation and project management.
I only wish that the mobile version is provided without subscription fee when we have purchased the desktop version.

Vorteile:

This application runs cross platforms. It works on my Mac, Windows machine also mobile devices. It has different kind of templates (mind map, org chart, logic chart, design, presentation mode, gantt chart mode for project management). What I like the most is I can also use it as a brainstorming tool for the development work as I can drop the node freely anywhere by clicking on the empty space. I can also easily add the flexible connection arrow between nodes. It also provide the export functionality to different type of files such as image, PDF and html.

Nachteile:

The performance of the startup is very slow. It may take minutes sometime to load the application. Because of this, everytime I start my computer, I need to make sure I open the application to have it standby all the time.

Fantastic software for mind maps, diagrams and simple info-graphic solutions

Kommentare: This software can be used by any sized company. User interface is simple, clean and easy to understand and master it in short period of time. Plenty of options give opportunity for different level of design (from simple diagrams to relatively challenging info-graphics).

Vorteile:

This version of XMIND (v8 update 4) is a fantastic solution for: - mind mapping, - diagrams of different kind, - info-graphics User interface is a nice, clean with adequate number of icons (options) in toolbars (horizontal and vertical) and only one menu bar . Most of options are always available during work and can be accessed immediately when needed. And there are plenty of options. OUTLINE - is full of options, with different filters. TOPIC FORMAT - many options are available (there is place to improve) CLIP ART / ICON FINDER - plenty of media to choose from MARKERS - are made nicely, with several options to choose from THEMES - are nice (there is place to improve) NOTES - are linked to topics, nice feature COMMENTS - are similar to notes but with time when inserted, also linked to topic TASK INFO - sometimes can be of use.

Nachteile:

This program, on my PC (WIN10, 4 Gb RAM), is very slow in some operations, especially loading. Cloud operations can be better defined.

Beautiful and useful mind mapping tool

Vorteile:

XMind lets you create powerful mindmaps. Default styles for the templates are pretty beautiful, and the software is easy to use. You can use different layouts to show different information (not only classical mindmaps, but org chart and lists too), and even combine them. You can save the maps locally or in the cloud. There are now two versions of the software, a buyable one that does not look like it will have lots of updates, and the subscription one.

Nachteile:

The software can be slow sometimes if you use big files or have a medium-old computer. The mobile apps are not as intuitive as the desktop apps, but that is something to expect du to the device limitations.

The best program to portray your ideas

Kommentare: An Amazing tool to create mindmaps for your professional but also personal goals/projects. Very useful mainly for team project management.

Vorteile:

All the team can have access to the same mindmap and work there at the same time. The way to present the ideas make the tool approachable, intuitive and legible.

Nachteile:

It takes time to open the files, sometimes freezes for quite a long time or is slow uploading some URL's, files, etc.

Easy-to-use mind mapping software

Kommentare: I work in program design in the non-profit world. A lot of times this means I need to start from scratch when designing a program. I literally need to gather disparate thoughts and build them into a cohesive whole. Mind map software like Xmind makes this process so much easier by allowing me to visualize what is in my head. Xmind is easy to use and that is what makes it great. The last thing I want to do when starting a large program is learn how to use complex software. I would say 90% of the buttons in the software can be accessed through a right click of the mouse. So convenient!

Vorteile:

I love the ability to right click any of the boxes within my mind map diagram and can quickly change its color, font style, or even change the chart style (wishbone, descending tree). Not having to sift through multiple menus to accomplish these relatively important and repetitive tasks is amazing.

Nachteile:

Some of the most important features, such as sharing the Mind map with others over the internet, are not available with the free version. This is a little disappointing, however understandable. The company wants to motivate you to purchase the full software.

An easy tool to organize ideas and mind maps in an easy way.

Kommentare: I started to used Xmind in a very easy way to create a mind map, it didn't take me a lot of time to understand it and started to work with.

Vorteile:

I liked that is very easy to install and start to work with, it offers an easy way to start with mind maps without using another office tools that make difficult to create these diagrams. With simple commands you can start very intuitively to create your mind map. You can even export your work in popular formats to work with.

Nachteile:

The user interface could be updated to be more friendly, it has the necessary to start to work but it could be improved to have the main tools more accesible.

Moved over to XMind from Mind Meister

Vorteile:

The free version has a lot that you can do with unlike Mind Meister. That is the main reason I moved to XMind.

Nachteile:

The size of the software is bloated I felt

This is a great product for process development as well as brainstorming

Kommentare: I'm able to create some clean and professional items for work. Saves time.

Vorteile:

I can pretty much use it for whatever I want: if I'm setting up a timeline, creating a project strategy, walking through a process, setting up and organizational chart. Whatever I need, there's a way for me to create it.

Nachteile:

The relationships between elements is sometimes challenging to create (i.e. a sub-process of a process). It doesn't always work the way I want it to or anticipate it to.

Mental map your ideas

Kommentare: The main tasks that we solve with this software are matching up ideas for the improvement of the work and getting down the group ideas for the optimization of different tasks.

Vorteile:

What I like the most is the ease of get the ideas from your head to a text or map, being able to separate the main ideas and subtopics in a very simple and practical way just like you want.

Nachteile:

I only have one thing that i don't like about this software that you can't work with your partners in a specific map that could be a good improvement to the software.

Mindmaps for free

Kommentare: XMind is a perfectly valid choice for gathering ans structuring ideas as long as you can live with some minor structural restrictions and limited design-freedom.

Vorteile:

I really like the fact that the free version of XMind offers most of the features I wanted. The prefabricated designs are neat and for most people, they'll be entirely sufficient, just like the graphs themselves.

Nachteile:

The possible schemes are limited in their complexity, which is a pity because being able to structure thoughts is what XMind is all about. I don't like to limit my thoughts to a structure the software is able to display, but as it is for free, I'm not sure wether this is actually valid critique. Also, the UI tends to be a little confusing.

Mapping my mind is now easier

Kommentare: I am overall very satisfied. Briefly tried other alike software but they were too hard to navigate as a beginner. XMind was the most intuitive and I find my way around quite easily.

Vorteile:

It is fairly intuitive, I struggled with figuring out one or two features but nothing too complicated. Other similar software was far more complicated.

Nachteile:

I would prefer the option for different map's design. At least options like standard, minimal and some embellished version. The design is a little bit the early 2000s.
