Love IRIS POS. Have used other Floral POS and IRIS is by far the best.

Kommentare: Able to manage 2 shops- one a gift shop with barcode scanner system - over 2800 items. Backend bookkeeping an ease. Amazing Delivery Management System. Las two years have not missed a single delivery for VDay or Mom's Day. Keeps great track of AR. Constantly updating for new functions. Amazing software for the cost. Just plain amazing software.

Vorteile:

Able to manage 2 shops. Able to intergrate independent web site. Able to control inventory for gift shop with over 2800 items. Delivery Management is THE BEST!!!

Nachteile:

Sometimes quirks- but developer takes care of them quickly. Developer can customize POS to individual needs.

Kommentare: I have had experience with many Floral based POS systems (MAS, FloristWare, Dove and Mercury). IRIS by far takes first place. I have been an IRIS user for many years and will never use another company. There is no need, if ever there is a feature you are longing for...just ask. Somehow they will make it happen. The support team is impressively responsive and the software does everything your floral shop (large or small) could ever need.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and customization. Out of the box Integration with WordPress website.

Nachteile:

There are no negative aspects to IRIS. I am longing for branding customization but that it somthing they are working on.

Potential to be great

Kommentare: I’ve researched several software providers and iris has the most potential and perfect if you don’t need the QuickBooks integration.

Vorteile:

Terrific for high traffic shops because the touchscreen and product tabs works very well. Easy to teach staff how to use and very flexible system

Nachteile:

I spent a year working to get it deployed and we never did. The accounting was flawed and unreliable, the integration with QuickBooks didn’t work properly and after several rounds of trying to fix the defects, IRIS staff finally gave up. I even used the recommend CPA and spent thousands to help resolve the defects but in the end The CPA even suggested I go to a more mature platform.

Best POS for Independent Flower Shops

Kommentare: I evaluated other POS systems, both the independents and those from wire services. From my perspective, Iris is the most functional , versatile, and easy-to-use system that you'll find. I would recommend it for florists who want to run their own shops independently, without wire services or fee-per-item websites.

Vorteile:

Easy to customize and implement. You can get up & running very quickly. Lots of online videos to help you learn the system. Covers all the important things you need in a flower shop point of sale system including in-store and online orders. Integrates with my Big Commerce website and with Flower Shop Network.

Nachteile:

Turnaround on support requests is a bit inconsistent. You need to be a squeaky wheel. That's to be expected.

Easy to use, self explanatory and intuitive to what a florist needs

Vorteile:

Product pads and ease of order entry, and delivery route management. These are just a few of the things I like, it is loaded with features and not expensive.

Nachteile:

I wish we could change the color and that they had a design manager or an email marketing tool. If they added those it would be close to perfect.

I love this software because without it we couldn't operate as efficiently as we do.

Kommentare: My business uses this every day. Our customers are better served by using this fast and efficient software. I can keep track of my business and can see instantly what my sales are day to day. It helps with keeping track of employee hours to make payroll more efficient. Accounts receivable and accounts payable are a great feature too. It's me that needs to use everything that the software has to offer. I'm still learning.

Vorteile:

Speed, accuracy, how it keeps a history of customer purchases, ease of use, it can be customized for my shop.

The best florist software package available, bar none.

Kommentare: Saves time in order taking, card printing, inventory management, website sales, and in every aspect of account.

Vorteile:

It's everything a florist needs, and the newest version is very user-friendly. The shortcuts available to use during order entry make this software so efficient. Most every aspect of the software can be customized to fit my needs, which is most important.

Nachteile:

It does cost a *little* more for this software on a per month basis, but you definitely get what you pay for. In the florist business, it's like comparing a cheaper Visa rose to a 70cm Freedom...they serve the same purpose and are certainly similar, but the Freedom will win for best overall quality hands down, and the "end user" will be much happier in the long run.

Vorteile:

For years our shop had a wire service POS. Year after year I have seen so much revenue leaving the store paying for this wire services POS and we were barely making ends meet. We had enough. We started looking for a new POS, and came across Iris while looking up Florist POS & ecommerce sites. I did some research but kept coming back to them.

Vorteile:

Their availability. If I have a question they are quick to respond. Customer service is great. The ease of showing someone new how to use the software is huge!!! I don't have to spend days training people.

Nachteile:

Didn't find it sooner. Working on the mapping features to work for our delivery area more efficiently. That's just me being picky.

Its so easy to use

Vorteile:

You can use it with a touchscreen it does everything that Teleflora POS dose for way less then you pay for the Teleflora POS

Nachteile:

It doses not open my cash drawer when I select from the main drop down. Split payment is a little difficult till you figure it out. They did fix the cash drawer. It does work as it should now.

I spent over a year researching florist POS systems & decided to go with IRIS.

Vorteile:

That's easy, the ease of order entry. I figure you spend 75% or more of your time with a POS system entering orders, so it better be easy to use and fast. IRIS does just that. I especially like the product pads and the fact that they can be customized as needed. The products can be changed with the seasons. Also, the customer support is awesome. It's like having your own IT staff. Any time I have a question or issue, they respond right away.

Nachteile:

What I like least is the reporting. IRIS has quite a few reports, but often lacks the exact report I need.

Easy, fast, lots of details, easy to customize, iris reps can quickly add details you want and are really friendly

Nachteile:

They can't read my mind and know what I want before I do. It's not free. It doesn't save all customers previous records and Cc cards
