Another benefit is that it emails PDF payslips all at once. Integrates with HMRC for RTI, and also for coding notices which is great.
I have been caught out a few times by alterations to the pay of an employee in one month/pay period which do not automatically revert to the stated basic pay the following month.

Very nice app for an employee
Kommentare: Overall I'm very pleased with the app - it is a good solution to the browser portal.
Vorteile:
Brings all the functionality of the browser portal into a mobile app. It's much easier to use the app for quick access than to get on a computer to see and use the portal.
Nachteile:
I have very few issues as an end-user employee. I do have some frustrations over how easily I can change my details, but I understand the importance of have this administrated by senior leadership.

Kommentare: Before AM we used spreadsheets to keep track of tasks and clients. Deadlines are so very important that it used to keep us awake at night worring that we might miss something. These days we sleep like a baby....
Vorteile:
We love the the culture at AM, they are so full of personality. We feel valued and very much part of the family. We love the way AM tracks tasks and organises them in to "work to lists" giving us a clear jobs list for the day, week, month etc
Nachteile:
Invoicing. We are looking forward to this developing.

An easy way to payroll, with BrightPay!
Kommentare: Overall, I've tested a lot of payroll software, and BrightPay is the most user-friendly and addresses practically all payroll-related issues.
Vorteile:
This program simplifies payroll processing. The UI is simple to use, and entering salary data is a breeze. The program automates regular payrolls by rolling over numbers month after month and generating variation indications.
Nachteile:
Until you learn how to enter all the necessary information, setting up an employer in the middle of the year might be a bit difficult. Otherwise, it is good.

Accountancy Manager Review
Kommentare: Overall AM is the best around in our opinion and we will not be looking at any other software in this field.
Vorteile:
AM is very simple to use and easily understood. I like the fact that all the invoices and statements can be emailed out and a copy kept for our records. The money laundering section is also very good to have on record and the HMRC authentication is handy to use and saves time.
Nachteile:
The only thing about AM that I would love see changed is that you cannot print all statements at once as it only allows individually at the minute
Best Practice Management Software
Kommentare: Whenever we needed help from the team, they were utmost courteous. If issue was not resolved at the point of first contact, they ensured that call back was made as soon as possible.
Vorteile:
Ease of use and ease of implementation. Great customer services especially from Customer Support Team. Our clients found it easier to use as well in terms of uploading/downloading documents and e-signing paperwork
Nachteile:
I would love to see in future time management chart implemented whereby staff diary can be created and seen by the senior team

The user interface is great and very intuitive, the help/support section is very good in helping you get up to speed with the software.
Nachteile:
The way you have to download and install a new version each year - other providers keep all of your data in one place.

There is nothing negative to report on Accountancy Manager, it is a great system to use. Every time there has been issues they have been resolved in an instant.

Too many amazing functions to mention but the integration with companies house is a godsend for us. The customer service team are exceptional and come back on all queries quickly.

The ease of using the product, especially the reporting functionality and how easy it it is to get meaningful reports off the system. The ability to have all relevant client information in one place for all of my team to see, access and use.
Nachteile:
I am yet to find something I don't like about this product but we are still finding our feet with it.

Kommentare: Overall, AccountancyManager has allowed me to organise my practice, keep control on all reporting deadlines, streamlined admin tasks, given a professional look and feel to clients and made my life much easier. I wouldn't/couldn't be without it

Ease of use - it does all the essentials straight out of the box without the need for lots of customisation Easy to import existing clients using spreadsheets Client client onboarding is well thought out and with the production of letters of engagement and proposal emails saves me a lot of time Client portal works well together with esigning of documents Email reminders are brilliant timesavers HMRC authorisation also saves me time rather than going to the HMRC site Excellent and speedy support The software does what you need it to do and is not big and bloated like other packages
Nachteile:
Could do with a lower cost for additional users or specifically part time users Would like to be able to have more reporting flexibility on the task list

It has come in very handy in automating the workflow. It centralizes all my account information and provides a convenient access.
Nachteile:
Templates are not intuitive to use. It doesn't have enough functions to be able to customize the templates.
Helping to Develop Your Practice
Kommentare: This software has enabled me to grow from being a sole practitioner to a staff of 7.
Vorteile:
I enjoy the fact that it is hosted as all of my staff are remote workers. This is a central point for the entire team to refer to. New features are coming out regularly
Nachteile:
I have found no Cons in using this software,

The functionality available is excellent and it is such a useful tool in the running of the business and the management of on-boarding clients and managing workflow.
Nachteile:
Still quite obviously in development so at times the product is updated and this can cause a few issues. Lack of ability to make enough customized changes at the moment but hopeful that things will improve as it becomes more established.
Brightpay Auto Enrolment and RTI Ready Payroll software
Kommentare: I have never come accross such a user friendly software product. Every box and heading is self explanatory. Transfer from Basic PAYE Tools, set up and running has been so easy. The software is completely free for up to 3 employees. This suited us initially. Any small queries I have had have been dealt with in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating how utterly professional and committed to excellent customer service Brightpay are. Although Brightpay were already linked to about 10 Pension providers (including NEST, Peoples and NOW), we decided to use an Auto enrolment pension scheme which wasnt yet linked to the software but Brightpay developers worked like trojans to get it up and running in time for our staging date. There were a few teething problems with online pension contribution filing, but I just had to send a copy of my files by email so the developers could see what was going wrong. It was a simple password error. By the end of the day it was all sorted and has been running smoothly ever since. This was Excellent service above and beyond the call of duty, and considering we had not paid a penny for use of the software.
Vorteile:
If an employee has a fixed salary each month this is shown automatically on each payroll day so no further entries need to be done. The HMRC and Pension Scheme id and passwords need to be entered only once in the set up. Then a simple click on the send button is done for all future submissions. Massive time savings. Each employee has a holiday and sick day calendar which recalculates holidays remaining or if SSP is entitled to automatically. Transferring mid year from another payroll product is simple.
Not as good as expected
Kommentare: Overall, it is good that is a page, not a program. So you can use from home when you need it.
Vorteile:
The really good thing is that they have tasks. The program generates deadlines and you can update progress and add a note.
Nachteile:
Notes are so big and arranged uncomfortably. Sometimes you have to reload a few pages to find necessary information.
Bright day cause of brightpay
Vorteile:
I've tried a lot of payroll software and bright pay has the easiest software to navigate its a user friendly and covers almost all of the payroll concerns
Nachteile:
what I wish brightpay must have is the capacity to trace back or correct some input of records foe example some alteration may have done but it is hard to trace back the records.
No euphemisms, no jargon and no problem - this software just works. That's it!
Kommentare: Love the software, love the kind people at technical support and love the vibe that Thesaurus Software are in business to help others do business well. Other vendors are only in it for themselves unfortunately.
Vorteile:
Very intuitive and it works. Simply no jargon and non of that endless stream of annoying ad ons that you have to pay for just to have some extra piece of functionality. Whatever ad ons that are needed will be really needed by you and hence you will see the value of purchases them.
Nachteile:
It would be great if there was some kind of front end graphical dashboard. Other than that I cannot fault it - oh yes is there a way to produce invoices using this product?

Best payroll software
Kommentare: I love working with Bright pay. It is so simple and easy to use and is the best payroll software i have used in 5 years.

Is easy to use, the best payroll software i have used. I have been doing payroll for 5 years and this is by far my favourite.
Nachteile:
Sometimes it freezes and it disconnects from the cloud.
Excellent software - life changing for my small business

Its very easy to use, simple to set up and has consolidated several spreadsheets into one place highlighting several errors in my schedules along the way.
Nachteile:
I think it would be fantastic if the on boarding page of a client would also allow for the AML checks to be done at the same time.
