The sole purpose that Manager Plus was selected was due to its supposed ability to integrate with Sage 300.
Since purchasing the software, no one from the Sage Integration Team responds to anything. We are paying for a product that doesn't do as claimed.

Great Product/Very little support
Kommentare: I have been using Manager plus since 1998, they have made great improvements to their product over the years, but the customer service unfortunately has gotten worse. Having to listen to dogs barking and kids crying in the background when your needing help is very frustrating and unprofessional. Getting told over and over that what you need is very simple to do, and they will get back to you right away with a solution and then never hearing back from them again seems to be the norm there. I have been trying to get help with a report for over 6 months now and all I get is unfulfilled promises. Honesty I'm not even sure were to go with it anymore.
Vorteile:
I like how we can track and maintain all of our assets very easily even at multiple locations. Purchase order feature also allows us to easily track parts cost and keep are inventory accurate. using the mobile app for all are fueling logs has made it easy to keep track of mileages and fuel logs accurately and up to date.
Nachteile:
The worst part of manager plus is making reports. There is allot of information stored in manager plus that needs to be put into different reports. The report feature is nice and easy to use but lacks all the needed information you sometimes need, and the BI feature is extremely hard to use and navigate through, and getting help from manager plus with it is almost impossible.

Organization of the lists by different categories/types/fields/etc. was very limited and report creation was annoying for the normal consumer.
Best management software on the market
Kommentare: Plenty of room to grow into the program. All the modules integrate seamlessly with each other. Cloud based Mobility. Customer service. From small user to large, something for all. Good value.

Manager Plus Review
Kommentare: Overall the program works pretty good and fits our organization well. We could use improved reporting options from MP, not just creating our own in BI. We have had poor customer support from day one, other than a few months with one good customer support representative.
Vorteile:
Easy to use, organized, options to customize views (column chooser). Linking together purchases, work, and assets to get true values to an asset. This program fits our operations, we don't have to change our operations to fit the program.
Nachteile:
Operates slowly on the MP end, we have tested our internet speeds and are not having issues. The implementation phase was a disaster, our representative ghosted us over and over, took 7 months. Sometimes new POs and WOs were not showing up for almost 12 hours. The new chat help is terrible, you use MP terms and the response is "I didn't get that try again". You used to get a real person to help. You can do anything with BI if you are a programmer. We had Manager Plus Pro (CD Version) and that had much better reporting options that were built into the program. You don't have access to any advanced settings and must go through a customer support rep to talk you through or do for you.

Kommentare: It's been pretty terrible, we've been over promised and under delivered. We have a long list of things they were supposed to do during our implementation of the software, We even got a "special assistant" to help complete our list, things are still left unanswered and completed. we just quit trying to deal with them and use the system the way they set it up.

Nothing; nothing at all!!
Nachteile:
all the constant bugs and no help from customer support. They will contact you with no solution, they tell you they will talk with an engineer and you'll never hear from them again.
Managers Plus Admin
Kommentare: Its a great program to track and create a history for each asset.

I wish I could say there was something I liked about this software, but no one from Maintenance Department through to Quality Assurance team like this software. It was chosen by our IT department and forced on the teams.

Works but lacks customer support. Loss of data when changing from old Managers Plus to new "upgrade"

nothing, will not even update services after setting them up and perfoming them thru the w/o system.
Nachteile:
they put a lot of bs graphs....to make it look like you're getting something. The system is a joke with the lack of support. They have a chat box which never understands your question, no live help!!
Manager Plus is the best!
Kommentare: The best thing about Manager Plus is being able to keep track of equipment and the fleet vehicles all in one place. Being that I'm handling both in my position it is a very convenient program and it's fast! Never seem to run in to slow running windows or lag.
Vorteile:
The software is very user friendly and in my opinion is easy to setup.
Nachteile:
What I like least about the software is the reporting side. It is glitchy from time to time although it is very useful.
Ease of Use
Kommentare: Efficient costing of unit maintenance to determine life cycles and assist with life cycle management; ease of use for a broad range of employees.
Vorteile:
Work order generation from PM tracking is effortless; parts/labour allocation is seamless and efficient. Ease of use of the entire system is a big selling point for us, the layout is intuitive, adding/removing assets, tracking maintenance requirements are all simple tasks.
Nachteile:
Work order tasks can be clunky - inability to modify task titles (IE - generic task groupings like "Electrical - Lamps/Wiring/Etc" or "Suspension"). Adding notes TO the task is effective but does not display with the task specifically, but on a separate section of the printed work order referencing the task number. Component specific or VMRS style coding would be more effective for tracking component failures and tasking of the technician assigned.

Kommentare: THIS IS A WELL ROUNDED ASSET AND MAINTENANCE PROGRAM. IT IS EASY TO USE, SUPPORT HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL

THE WAY REQUESTS AND WORK ORDERS INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER. THE NEW INSPECTION SOFTWARE IS A NICE TOUCH.
Nachteile:
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE INSPECTIONS HAVE A OPTION TO CREATE A REQUEST INSTEAD OF A WORK ORDER. THE BAR AND QR CODE PRINTING TO A LABLE MARKER IS NOT THAT GREAT.

Lexington Manufacturing
Kommentare: Horrible, I have been calling and emailing for over a month to receive an explanation of a rate increase from previous year as well as a signed copy of our upcoming contract for our accounting department. Without this I cannot issue payment. The lack of response is creating a issue that is making me look like I'm not following through and making some question my position in the company.

It isn't easy to drop a scheduled event when the item is no longer in use. So you can't eliminate the workorder only make it inactive.

Great tool for fleet management and affordable.
Kommentare: Manager Plus has been used in our school district for over 15-years and we have no thoughts of looking anywhere else. Great product with impressive follow through from their team.
Vorteile:
Customer support!!! Great support from the team and usually have issues addressed within hours.
Nachteile:
I wish some steps were easier to negotiate.
Solid and evolving software
Kommentare: It gives our fleet crew chance to manage all assets and be proactive with all schedule vehicle maintenance.
Vorteile:
We started using Manger Plus 20 years ago when it was DOS based application. Over the years software has been converted to a user-friendly GUI application, users feedback was incorporated into product's functionality. You can create user defined custom fields which is very helpful. Great search engine. Recently we integrated it with our Active Directory, user can log in to the application with their Windows creds. Quick and responsive US based support is a BIG plus.
Nachteile:
Sometimes reporting provides too much info. Besides that, it is a great product. 20 years in service and counting.
Manager Plus Pro review
Kommentare: I've been using this product for approximately 8 years now. I only use the work order, log and asset modules. We tried using the inventory module, however it does not function they way we would need it to, to serve our purpose. The module for assets is great. I would say it probably stores more info than we actually need. The work order and log modules I basically use on a daily basis. Over all I am satisfied with their functionality. I also like that this program hardly ever crashes or has technical issues. That to me, is a huge plus!
Vorteile:
Easy to learn to use and train others. The reporting functionality is great, especially for work order repairs in order to find past work that has been done on our trucks. Able to run log reports for fuel, engine hours etc with ease. Entering work order info is easy as well as entering fuel, mileage and engine hours in the logs.
Nachteile:
I don't like the fact that i have to use my mouse so much when entering work orders. I feel like the task would flow much smoother if I could hit F keys to move to a different tab or drop down list etc rather than having to stop typing to use the mouse to get to the next area I want to be in. I wish I could import spreadsheet data to the log module rather than having to print the spreadsheet and then key it all in manually ( but i hear thats available in the upgraded version ).
Not user friendly
Kommentare: Our company uses ManagerPlus to submit tickets for IT or Maintenance issues. I often submit tickets which go unresolved for a long time. There is no communication from the team I request from to advise if they are working on the ticket, no updates, etc. I have had tickets disappear and have to re-submit them. Overall I don't think this program is very useful. A checklist on a chalkboard would be more functional.

The update makes it much easier to input the information I need to submit a ticket to my IT or maintenance teams

The functionality of this program seems lacking from my perspective. I am not on a team that uses this often, however I have to use it to communicate to those teams. I feel that it is a lot of work with very little communication regarding the follow up from those teams.
Managerplus Pro - Seems left behind by the company

The product works adequately for us for asset tracking, work orders and logs. We never implemented use of their purchasing or inventory modules.
We purchased this software in about 2012. Ever since, there have been few updates for it, and none in the last couple of years. The company is moving away from this and towards a cloud-based CMMS, and the lack of significant upgrades to this product reflect that.
We contacted them about switching to their cloud-based product, and they never even bothered to respond to us, so we are now looking at other products.

Nachteile:
Inability to sort numbered assets properly. (eg: 1, 11, 12, 2 instead of 1, 2, 11, 12) Once a top level asset is created, it cannot be placed as a sub-asset under another top level asset. We expanded to more than one facility and had no option to change the asset tree to reflect our company growth. Rather than completely re-write our database from scratch, we left it as is, and it is a bit of a mess now. It does not support nested assets. Search function works poorly. Searching for an asset with 'forklift' in the name returns 0 results, yet we have over 40 forklifts in the system. Unless you pay the big bucks for the enterprise edition, almost nothing in the UI is customizable.
Great product and support
Kommentare: The mobile platform allows my team to take the power of Manager Plus with them out into the plant.

The software is easy to use and there is always support if you run into problems.
Nachteile:
We are on the 4,4,5 budgeting system and that is not an option at this time when using the budget module.

I do not like the fact that we have to move from Classic to Lighting and back to Classic.
