The sole purpose that Manager Plus was selected was due to its supposed ability to integrate with Sage 300.
Since purchasing the software, no one from the Sage Integration Team responds to anything. We are paying for a product that doesn't do as claimed.

Ease of Use
Kommentare: Efficient costing of unit maintenance to determine life cycles and assist with life cycle management; ease of use for a broad range of employees.
Vorteile:
Work order generation from PM tracking is effortless; parts/labour allocation is seamless and efficient. Ease of use of the entire system is a big selling point for us, the layout is intuitive, adding/removing assets, tracking maintenance requirements are all simple tasks.
Nachteile:
Work order tasks can be clunky - inability to modify task titles (IE - generic task groupings like "Electrical - Lamps/Wiring/Etc" or "Suspension"). Adding notes TO the task is effective but does not display with the task specifically, but on a separate section of the printed work order referencing the task number. Component specific or VMRS style coding would be more effective for tracking component failures and tasking of the technician assigned.
Great Product/Very little support
Kommentare: I have been using Manager plus since 1998, they have made great improvements to their product over the years, but the customer service unfortunately has gotten worse. Having to listen to dogs barking and kids crying in the background when your needing help is very frustrating and unprofessional. Getting told over and over that what you need is very simple to do, and they will get back to you right away with a solution and then never hearing back from them again seems to be the norm there. I have been trying to get help with a report for over 6 months now and all I get is unfulfilled promises. Honesty I'm not even sure were to go with it anymore.
Vorteile:
I like how we can track and maintain all of our assets very easily even at multiple locations. Purchase order feature also allows us to easily track parts cost and keep are inventory accurate. using the mobile app for all are fueling logs has made it easy to keep track of mileages and fuel logs accurately and up to date.
Nachteile:
The worst part of manager plus is making reports. There is allot of information stored in manager plus that needs to be put into different reports. The report feature is nice and easy to use but lacks all the needed information you sometimes need, and the BI feature is extremely hard to use and navigate through, and getting help from manager plus with it is almost impossible.
Wouldn't Reccoment

It was fairly easy to learn once we were actually able to not have to use the Classic version and the newer version together
Nachteile:
The workorders and invoices are difficult for customers to read. I can't get the odometer reading on the invoice or the "concerns" for the repairs, so i have to print out both the workorder AND the invoice together in order to utilize both sets of info together. I think this is ridiculous. I don't like the way the view within a workorder. To me, each "concern" should be in its own spot with all of its info, notes, parts, attachments all together. In this program Everything is collapsed and you have to click into each different task or concern in order to see what was done it it. And you have to assign parts to just one task. You cannot use 10 bolts for an exhaust and then 4 for the engine area area because you cannot have a part listed more than once on a workorder or invoice, otherwise it will duplicate over and over again. It would be fine if it highlighted or flagged it so you take notice to the fact that you have the same part more than once but it shouldn't halt it from happening. The viewing of past workorders isn't conducive for accomplishing anything quickly either. Plus, i have to have 10 different tabs open at all times in order to go back and forth between all of the different areas. Also, anywhere that you are allowed to add a note "into a part, an asset, really anything aside from a workorder, there should be a notification that alerts you that there is something to look at there, otherwise how would anyone know to look there for pertinent info?
Great Product, Customer Support has declined, Great for asset tracking
Kommentare: Having a centralized system to manage a large variety of assets, spread out geographically, while allowing for a uniformity of service protocols within the company is helpful.
Vorteile:
The product itself is great for tracking assets and maintaining the history of that asset. I believe that this product is like many others and you get out of it what you put into it. The hardest part of developing a software like this in my opinion is making it simple and easy for the users to use and input relevant data, along with making that data easily accessible. M+ does a good job with this and has improved with its new platform in my opinion.
Nachteile:
Customer support used to me stellar, it is no longer the case. Was really awesome being able to pick up the phone have an answer to a problem pretty quickly, was even worth it having to wait on hold for 20 minutes sometimes. Now it might take a week to get answers to a problem or help. The tutorial videos are helpful but don't replace a person.
Solid and evolving software
Kommentare: It gives our fleet crew chance to manage all assets and be proactive with all schedule vehicle maintenance.
Vorteile:
We started using Manger Plus 20 years ago when it was DOS based application. Over the years software has been converted to a user-friendly GUI application, users feedback was incorporated into product's functionality. You can create user defined custom fields which is very helpful. Great search engine. Recently we integrated it with our Active Directory, user can log in to the application with their Windows creds. Quick and responsive US based support is a BIG plus.
Nachteile:
Sometimes reporting provides too much info. Besides that, it is a great product. 20 years in service and counting.
Honest review for a user
Kommentare: It is good for keeping up with work and when all the change-over bugs are worked out - it will be good.
Vorteile:
Overall I like Manager Plus. There are features that need adding and some that need to be more user friendly.
Nachteile:
I don't like Ligntning. The work order module is not pleasing to look at. It is not clean and to me it is chaotic. I don't mind the purchase order module except for not being able to add an asset directly from the PO - have to do your work twice. I don't like the cycle count and sure don't like I can't print off a pdf list of items. The invoice module needs to be more user friendly or you need a Eptura for Dummies book. Reports are not very user friendly to create either. Mobile needs many things to be efficient. Overall - it's still not user friendly and needs more work.

The software works well. Set up was difficult. Accounts payables has issues.

I like the software and its capabilities. I have used the software 10+ years and recently switched to Lightning from Classic.
Nachteile:
It's nearly impossible to talk to a person. Our contact person for set up would take several days or weeks to reply.We are still having issues with Manager Plus accounts payable for 6+ months with our original renewal quote not being honored. A difference of $225.00.
I am not able to get a hold of anyone.
Kommentare: I have reached out to Sales, Support, and Customer service. I have left messages, I have emailed, and I have called. No one ever seems to answer the phone, reply to my emails, or voicemails.I can only wonder why that could be considering this software has been bought and passed around from company to company 3 times over the past 3 years.

It's cloud based and it is easy to navigate the menus.

It loads slow and doesn't always load the correct windows or reports.

Pros:
Manager+ was one of the few CMMS packages out there that still supports a software client installation with an option to host the database on our own server. Most of the competition now only offers web browser based systems that are often clunky and slower to load, plus many require costly subscriptions with cloud-only licensing schemes. Manager+ licensing strategies are all very straight forward, and while they do offer cloud hosting and a browser based interface along with a client option, you can host the database on your own server to avoid the subscription costs. The client interface runs quickly on a average PC, plus its intuitive and easy to learn without being watered down. Manager+ offers informative and helpful training as an option that is well worth the cost. Their tech support has also been top notch.
Cons:
On the flip-side, their "notify" module provides automatic e-mail notifications and reports which can be useful, but functionality is admittedly very limited in capability since it operates only on predefined templates, offering nearly no opportunity for customization. Only a few of the templates can be sent to non-user email addresses. I'd really like to see more customizable e-mail notifications along with the ability to send any report automatically to any email address. I'm told that their plan is to continue to develop this fairly new notify module, which is good news since it's the only real weak point of the product.
Conclusion:
We spent a lot of time evaluating the pros and cons of Manager+ vs. their competition, and for our needs, I'm totally confident that Manager+ was a great choice. All things considered, I've been very happy with this product.
Manager Plus is the best!
Kommentare: The best thing about Manager Plus is being able to keep track of equipment and the fleet vehicles all in one place. Being that I'm handling both in my position it is a very convenient program and it's fast! Never seem to run in to slow running windows or lag.

The software is very user friendly and in my opinion is easy to setup.

What I like least about the software is the reporting side. It is glitchy from time to time although it is very useful.

it is a good tool if it works the way manager plus team wants it to be - when introduced to the new M+ from our stand alone - it barely came out of development - if you work with ecel files and able to run a query - it provides alot of inof

to many interruptions - hear the same thing over and over for the last three years, we are working on a fix - yet they raise the price of the tool yearly - spend to much time to make it look "pretty" know that the tool has more than enough operating problems - training tools are not worth it - they give a 50 foot level and expect folks learn from it
Support for Manager Plus Lighting is Horrendous - Don't upgrade

Manager Plus Review from a Food Production Standpoint
Kommentare: Overall the system is easy to understand if you go through the training courses. Im also walking into this system with most things in place so of course its easier for me. But its easy enough to create work orders, super easy to create inspections to cover everything you need. The inventory management is simple. Overall very happy that we decided to go this direction in management system.
Vorteile:
The software is easy to use, its easy to schedule, easy to create work orders, easy to track inventory, easy to keep track of all info about assets and parts all in one place.
Nachteile:
I may have missed them but I feel like their should be options for customized drop down tabs. I would love if techs could start their own work order and select an asset and then select options from a customized tab about what applies to their work order. Its also difficult to track downtime. Techs are often on the floor and working on multiple things that are going down all in one day. They cant stop each time and create a work order for it. They should be able to open up a downtime form and select various assets through out the day adding in reasons and total time down that would then be tracked and separated by asset.

It would be nice to have the following features added to Lightning: Ability to link existing WOs to PO Ability to link Asset IDs to PO Certification Module added to the Lightning Platform instead of having to go to Classic Customizable WO Note Types as you did in Classic Option to hide some fields so you can customize what appears on the printed WO; example: if there are no "Parts" added to the WO Option to "Copy Asset" in Lightning

Not user friendly
Kommentare: Our company uses ManagerPlus to submit tickets for IT or Maintenance issues. I often submit tickets which go unresolved for a long time. There is no communication from the team I request from to advise if they are working on the ticket, no updates, etc. I have had tickets disappear and have to re-submit them. Overall I don't think this program is very useful. A checklist on a chalkboard would be more functional.
Vorteile:
The update makes it much easier to input the information I need to submit a ticket to my IT or maintenance teams
Nachteile:
The functionality of this program seems lacking from my perspective. I am not on a team that uses this often, however I have to use it to communicate to those teams. I feel that it is a lot of work with very little communication regarding the follow up from those teams.
Needs love from dev, can't get any.

Software was quick to implement, easy to train.
Nachteile:
Doesn't integrate with many industry standard tools, reporting isn't intuitive. System is labor intensive without integration and getting any sort of support is atrocious.

Transportation industry application of Manager Plus
Kommentare: The product is continually evolving which is good but there is a lack of communication between the development staff and user community. It is extremely rare for me to hear that I product suggestion or fix has been implemented, most time I find out through self discovery since I don't have time to read through there release notes on a daily basis.
Vorteile:
This is a very cost effective product that has the functionality needed to control fleet maintenance and cost allocations. It is easy to use and has a consistent feel through most of the modules and functions
Nachteile:
Some of the requires we have like tracking rentals are not well supported but it is flexible enough that you can work around every limitation I have found. I would like to see more robust reporting and controls on data elements but I believe that these are in development and what I have seen of them have been promising so far
The program was extremely indepth but was to big for our company's needs

The program was extremely in depth. The modules were very easy to understand. The organization and potential to expand and scale the product was great.
Nachteile:
The initial data input and setup was extremely time consuming. We took days putting all of our equipment into the program. That wasn't a huge deal. The biggest issue was that some of our employees couldn't figure the basics out.

ManagerPlus Small Business module.
Kommentare: Cloud based ManagerPlus comes in three different modules: Small Business, Corporate, and Enterprise. The one I use is the Small Business one, the reason? because its a small business (medium sized machining shop). This module comes with the necessary tools to do maintenance according to schedule. This tools are: work order management, assets management, preventive maintenance, parts list, and meter tracking (I haven't uploaded info to the meter tracking. I will do that in the future). I haven't tried other CMMS's, but I was open to the purchase of this software because it offers the opportunity to buy the one that fits your budget and needs. And my budget was enough to afford 25 dollars per user each month.
Vorteile:
*Different modules give you the chance to buy according to your budget and needs. *Great tutorials that can cover from uploading assets to training technicians to open/close work orders.
Nachteile:
*Not compatible with Mac. *The tutorials come in packages sold separately.
