Initial Overview

Kommentare: All of my experience has been from a preliminary evaluation. I will update my experience after I have had more time using the product.

Vorteile:

This product is very easy to use and has many useful features.

Nachteile:

It would be nice to see a version of this product more geared toward the Water and Wastewater industry.

Gagelist is completely customizable for any application

Vorteile:

Very easy to use and simple to set up. Unlimited users with access to the database on mobile as well. Completely customizable. We have reported 2 bugs and both times have been fixed in under an hour.

Nachteile:

Still needs a check in/out function, but I hear they are working on it.

Vorteile:

It helps recall my calibrated equipment.

Nachteile:

It's not tailored to my type of business. It is too slow to enter data.

Great Software

Kommentare: GageList has made calibration management very simple.

Vorteile:

I like it's ease of use. I was able to navigate and perform tasks as soon as I logged in for the first time.

Nachteile:

When I try to back up to a previous screen (like from the "Active Gage" list back to the dashboard), it takes me to a completely different page. Easier put, the back button on the browser doesn't go back to the previous page. It's not a huge deal, just an observation.

GageList for tracking gages for calibration

Kommentare: GageList has made it far easier to track our gages and assigned locations. We are happy with the software.

Vorteile:

Tracking calibrated tools in GageList is a simple way to set automatic alerts each year. We are not a calibrator, but we track a few hundred gages for our lab.

Nachteile:

Initially, there were some features that needed to be added to work efficiently, but as time has progressed, those features were added, and work well.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu GageList: Simple user interface, helpful assistance, free trial, low bar of entry, seemed geared for user/technician, which was appealing, since we are not a cal lab (might still be useful for a lab).

For the Money Gagelist is the answer

Kommentare: Our company has been in business for over 100 years with multiple manufacturing facilities, and more recently been under IS 9001 certification for 15 years. In that time because each facility "managed" their asset calibrations as they saw fit, there were gaps and nonconformance's in calibration documentation found in nearly every surveillance audit conducted. As a result, we recently employed Gagelist to our manufacturing sites so every facility has a central location to store asset calibration data.

Vorteile:

Product is easy to use, whether navigating in general, or setting up/loading gages. The software also has custom settings offerings so you can tailor the look to your business.

Nachteile:

Mass uploads of gages is a bit cumbersome at first, however, the technical support offered by Gagelist helped us get past that very quickly.

Gründe für den Wechsel zu GageList: We chose Gagelist because of the ease of use of the product, as well as it being web/cloud based. We liked the idea of not purchasing canned software that would need to be installed on multiple PC's.

Flexible cal management and excellent support

Kommentare: Gagelist allows me to effortlessly manage our calibrated devices and one less thing I'm manually tracking for our ISO certification. Calibration isn't *fun*, but GageList definitely makes it *easy*!

Vorteile:

GageList can be used for much more than just Gages. The platform is flexible enough to allow for creation and maintenance of non gage devices. We track multimeters, safety analyzers and soldering equipment. GageList allows us to create our own OEM information for each device and track who it is assigned to. It's also AWESOME to walk through your facility with an auditor, have them address calibration and simply pull your phone out of your pocket to show them devices, cal certs and locations of devices.

Nachteile:

Date management can be a challenge at times. Sometimes have to delete a device and recreate it if an error is made on date entered service or last calibrated. Initially had some errors with the out-of-cal reminder emails but seems to be resolved now.

Gagelist

Vorteile:

They program is user friendly. If I had any questions they answered them quickly . Also they are open to new Ideas to improve the program .

Nachteile:

I haven't had any issues with the program

Great way to keep Track!

Kommentare: Love it. Best thing we have purchased to take control of our equipment (tools)

Vorteile:

We are a small company and this is the best way to keep track of your equipment! A report lets you know when things are coming due to be calibrated which is a very big help. The program allows for all the information you need and not all the junk some programs need.

Nachteile:

One thing I wish is then i put in a calibration record I did not have to go back to the gage list to put in a new gage calibration record

Small Organization

Kommentare: As a start up company GageList meets our immediate needs as an organization.

Vorteile:

Gagelist is a great tool forstart-up or smaller organization. It has the bare essentials for most items and can be customized. However, if you are looking for a full system like GageTrak, this may not meet your expectations.

Nachteile:

Limited options. It takes a little why to figure how how to use the system to it's fulliest. However, any system has a learning period.

It does not let me edit the assignee section to add people. Seems like i need to have authorized access to do that.

GageList Breakdown Review

Kommentare: Overall the software is not a bad choice for small to medium calibration problems.

Vorteile:

Pros: Unlimited users (not paying for each user), cloud base software with easy to use apps for phone or tablets (able to look up calibration reports in the field), email reminders to help the calibration tool keep up on what tools need to be inspected and easy calibration record traceably

Nachteile:

Cons: some of the gage plans do not much the data storage use (1,000 gages but can only have 1 GB of data). More data storage can be purchase for an extra cost ($25 per extra 1 GB). The software should a TB limits not GB limits.

Sure Shot likes GageList intensely.

Kommentare: Far better than I could have hoped for.

Vorteile:

Dashboard shows quick results. As well, I can modify it to run my numbers by asset number.

Nachteile:

I am still learning the forms part of the software, so will reserve judgement until I learn what I can and rely on support ( which is great) for help in the future.

GageList review

Kommentare: We are just starting with calibration tracking and this software makes it easy, I really didn't know where to start until I came across this. I like that each gauge can be designated a specific area so I know right were to go when it is up for calibration. This feature also ensures that each gauge remains where it is intended (they used to wander between areas) since the frequency of calibration varies from gauge to gauge.

Vorteile:

I like that each instrument has it's own control number and history. It's nice that there are drop down menus for certain sections that you can also add to for customization. I also like the notifications for calibration and the fact that there is a customizable label maker.

Nachteile:

It would be nice if there were more drop down menus, such as for "Range of Size" or " Accuracy" so that they wouldn't have to be re-entered (although you can copy an existing gauge and use that data, which I like).

Easy to use and does exactly what it's needed for

Vorteile:

This product is extremely intuitive. the GageList team offered assistance throughout the entire implementation and after, but I was able to train all our users on it without much assistance needed.

Nachteile:

I would like to see some more features included such as Gage R&Rs.

Critical Calibration Control

Integration and control, keeps us updated on past and present calibrations

Nachteile:

Signature programing is complicated not to frendly

Professional Calibration system

Kommentare: We are very pleased with GageList, we have been able to link all our facilities to the system, and maintain a reliable calibration system with it.

Vorteile:

What we like most about GageList was the ability to quickly transfer all our inspection and test equipment over into the new system. We were worried that it could take several days, to re-enter our data, when in fact, it only took a couple hours to finish.

Nachteile:

Because we have several employees, departments, and facilities, we would like to see an additional field added to the calibration due list to take us to specific departments and employees.

Kommentare: I DO THINK THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE SOFTWARE SINCE THE USER DOES ALL THE WORK. I DON'T SEE WHERE THERE IS MUCH THAT COULD GO WRONG ON YOUR END. IT'S ALL PRETTY BASIC.

Vorteile:

TUTORIALS NOT REALLY NEEDED. BASIC INFORMATION STORED AND EASE OF ACCESS.

Nachteile:

NO PLACE TO STORE PROCEDURES RELATED TO EACH GAGE. CURRENTLY YOU HAVE TO UPLOAD AND ATTACH TO EACH GAGE IT IS RELATED TO. THIS UTILIZES A LOT OF STORAGE. IT WOULD BE EASIER TO SEND INVITES A LINK WHERE THEY MAY SET THEIR OWN PASSWORD. SET UP A DUMMY PAGE WHERE YOU CAN SEE WHAT INFORMATION IS STORED WHERE (WHAT THE EXPECTATIONS OF EACH TITLE IS)

GageList Calibration System

Kommentare: We use GageList on a daily basis for calibration control. I really like the daily e-mails I receive on the calibration status

Vorteile:

The ease of searching. The software is very user friendly

Nachteile:

Adding a new gage is way to time consuming

Great work

Kommentare: It's been absolutely fantastic. What I like the least about this software honestly pales in comparison to all the functionality and ease of use that exists in this software with zero local memory space and quick updating.

Vorteile:

The web based functionality is fantastic and quick.

Nachteile:

Though there is a lot of customization, there are certain items that I would like to have a little more options when is comes to changing the default information.

Equipment Calibration Software - Excellent

Vorteile:

It is really easy to use and fast to add sensors. The feature that allows you to copy a gauge so one can add another one is perfect. It serves as a template for future sensors. Customer service was great when I had questions.

Nachteile:

I can't say it has any negative items at this point.

A great package for tracking, basic functions.

Kommentare: We now have automated emails and a centralized location to track all calibrations.

Vorteile:

This provides an easy to use interface, and good flexibility for managing the calibrations. It does not have some advanced features in other software, so be sure it meets your needs. For most ISO approved manufactures, this will work and be a big improvement over home-made databases or paper forms.

Nachteile:

I don't think I have anything I dislike. However, I would like a better tutorial that I can give the users in my organization. I have some that are very computer savvy, and are teaching me things. But I have others who have difficulty with email, and needed more hand holding.

Good easy to use software

Kommentare: This program allows us to have varying users access the database remotely which is a great advantage for us compared to the old gauge track system that only allowed license on one computer. It should be a significant improvement in user experience just for that reason.

Vorteile:

I really like how easy to use the product was. The user interface was graphically very pleasing and the report functions were a lot more intuitive than some of the other software I've used

Nachteile:

I wish that there is a way the system could Differentiate between maintenance and calibration more readily. Like a preset option that allows you to Filter.It would also be nice if this could take gauge track records from a pre existing file and implant them.

Global - Being able to utilize this globally. Also the Mobile function as to where I can check on phone.

Nachteile:

Nothing that I can state right off hand - does the work I was expecting.
