It appears easy to use on the surface, and in comparison to other ATS', it isn't so bad in that regard. Customer support is rather quick to answer.
They were constantly emailing us multiple times a day before the check was sent out. I email them now and I get no response.

Vorteile:
simplicity of interface, enabling collaboration of hiring managers, open APIs to integrate with other platforms, likeness to other social tools that enables ease of use and adoption, and ability to customize and create platform adjustments without change ticket costs or depending on the ATS provider to make the changes.
Nachteile:
Our HCM solution has an ATS that we chose not to leverage because features were behind SmartRecruiters - yet, we have to build integrations for solutions that integrate with HCM
Highly Recommend SmartRecruiters!
Kommentare: Using SmartRecruiters was a great experience considering how easy it was to use, and it was easy for other departments to be engaged using this platform. We recently transitioned into a different recruiting software due to an acquisition, but our team still continues to rave about how awesome SmartRecruiters was to use!
Vorteile:
The best part about using SmartRecruiters is that it had a smooth layout that was appealing to use! My team always had great customer service, it was very user-friendly.
Nachteile:
Sometimes the webpage would be down, which caused issues for applicants applying, but typically this issue was resolved fairly quickly.

Easy to use, really good free options, easy to test.
Nachteile:
They deleted the account for all team members, the job post that we had and all the information about the applicants, while we still had the openings, so that meant we lost all follow-ups, CVs, all communications with almost 80% of the applicants, their customer service have not given a response yet, we called them, no one available, all day long, no one! it is easy to use and perfect, we they don't delete all your profiles with no explanation!

This ATS has streamlined our recruiting process and allowed us to manage everything in one place
Kommentare: More efficient process and less time spent having to account for data and manage a spreadsheet of candidates.
Vorteile:
It's very user-friendly and has a social media look and feel to it so most people can relate to the functionality.
Nachteile:
When I export certain reports into excel, they don't always come out clean and I have to do a lot of deleted and un-merging of cells, but once I get that done, the data is very useful.

It has been very useful in posting the jobs over different platforms from SmartRecruiters. Easy 2Use
Vorteile:
Sharing the jobs to different job boards in one click. Rating the candidates, saving the notes for future reference.
Nachteile:
Earlier I was able to post n number of positions, but no it has been reduced to 10 which I did not like. The adding of location is been very complicated now. Please change it as it was earlier! Eles it the best out in the market :)
Little to no support
Vorteile:
It appears easy to use on the surface, and in comparison to other ATS', it isn't so bad in that regard. Customer support is rather quick to answer.
Nachteile:
Sponsored jobs on Indeed are no longer supported by SmartRecruiters. This is a pretty big deal. This means resumes for thos job ads do not land in the ATS, statistics are therefore skewed, all of which defeats the purpose of having an ATS. No one at SmartRecruiters bothered informing their customers. No one at SmartRecruiters or Indeed wants to fix this issue. You can only save one job ad as a template, so if you post the same job in multiple languages, this process isn't automated and so is a bit lengthy. Customer support is also only done via e-mail. Watch out for the fine print in their pricing structure. It isn't as was discussed during our negotiation.

Been using it for over 2 years now, simple to use and does the job brilliantly

Sometimes improvements take a while to be implemented, and CS can at times not fully understand queries

SmartRecruiters is Street Smart but not Book Smart
Kommentare: I've worked with better ATSs and I've worked with much worse ATSs. All in all SmartRecruiters is very middle of the road. There is nothing I particularly love or hate about it.
Vorteile:
Easy to disposition candidates and enjoy the delayed disposition feature.
Nachteile:
The mobile app is pretty much worthless. They're woring on it now but it is essentially little more than a baby version with little funtionality at the time being.

Recruiting Smart
Kommentare: The software is convenient and allowing the recruitment process to be faster with better candidates.
Vorteile:
The candidate tracking system is the best part of this software as it even shows the top candidates and allows you to advertise and see the activity.
Nachteile:
There isnt anything I do not like about this software.

Perspective from an agency
Kommentare: As a recruiter it's made my life a bit easier with submissions, but other than that it didn't do much for me. However as an external user of it, that's not all that surprising.
Vorteile:
I like that SmartRecruiters gives me one place to login to work on reqs for a particular client. They can add and remove me as they need to, and being able to submit resumes there directly into their process is nice.
Nachteile:
My clients didn't particularly love the software, and the look of it is a bit dated. Other than submitting resumes to make sure they're in the right bucket, I don't get any other use out of it. The resume parsing is OK, not great. It gets mostly the name and everything right, but often times messes up the paragraphs in the experience section.

When I discovered SmartRecruiters I worked for a smaller mom and pop business. We didn't have a prior application tracking system. This product significantly improved our processes. It allowed us to post positions easily and manage our applications and share applications to other users. It was easy to set up and to post once and distribute these postings to the job aggregators we chose. The support team was very friendly and trained us. As we expanded our business this software kept up. I highly recommend trying it. We were able to improve our KPI with time to fill.
Nachteile:
I really don't have many cons system. I really enjoyed using this software.

Kommentare: The number of applicants received has doubled over the previous year (prior to switching to SmartRecruiters). The candidate experience has vastly improved due to social integration and mobile friendly use.
Vorteile:
I like the ease of use for candidates and users alike. Social media integration, hiring team collaboration, and customizable applications enhance the candidate experience. SmartRecruiters Hiring App is perfect for on the go candidate review, messaging, and calling. Job postings are easy and automatically push out to multiple job boards.
Nachteile:
The marketplace is great for integrated add-ons including assessments, reference checks, and background checks. However there are additional costs for the add-ons.
I have a great experience, makes easy and faster my daily work
Vorteile:
I like the way you can do the whole recruiter process, make notes and share with coworkers everything about candidates and how you can use the analytics to have a better view of the results in every process.
Nachteile:
I like everything, I think there is nothing to improve for now, but maybe would be nice if the administrator is able to delete other users when they are not in the company anymore.
User End
Vorteile:
I used this in my previous role, not currently using. This was used at a school district. It was better than tracking applicants yourself. Appreciated the 'tag' feature (similar to facebook).
Nachteile:
I didn't like that I could see applicants at other schools - this was sometimes confusing. I think a functionality update could fix this.
SmartRecruiters helps us stay organized and keep up on all of the applicants.
Vorteile:
Being able to rate the candidates and leave notes in the scorecard. We show all of our hiring managers and interviewers the scorecard feature, and have them leave detailed notes after interviews so we can more easily compare candidates.
Nachteile:
The employee referral feature is not always accurate when it shows "employee". We will get people that apply and it says "employee" next to their name, but they were not actually a referral, so we do not use that feature.
Free Version - can get the job done
Vorteile:
This is not the most robust option, but if you are a recruiter/HR manager with a very limited budget, this allows you to do all the basic functions that any other ATS would do for you. I believe companies with fewer than 200 or 250 employees can use the free version, which is really pretty cool. It allows for pre-screening questions, tracks applicant data (EEO, sourcing data, etc), stores the candidate information in an intuitive and visually appealing way, and notifies you via e-mail about new candidates. It connects to dozens of free job boards and will also connect you to paid boards. I was surprised by how much it offers for a free service.
Nachteile:
Obviously with a free service there is only so much customization that can be done.
SmartRecruiters develops a large quantity of candidates
Vorteile:
Great value for the price! It is quick and easy to create and publish job postings. Applications start to arrive in 24 to 48 hours. I can choose to contact applicants through the SmartRecuriter platform or directly by telephone or email.
Nachteile:
About 20-40% of applicants are not qualified (depending on the job), but this is a better return than the CareerLink site.
Smart Recruiters Review
Kommentare: I have yet to reap any benefits from purchasing this system. I highly don't recommend it.
Vorteile:
The purpose of purchasing the software was to help with our recruiting and organizing needs. The software did not help at all.
Nachteile:
The product was oversold to us. We purchased the software to have a system for our internal recruiters. Once you pay the $5,000+, it seems as though you have to keep paying to get your job posts seen by candidates. I have yet to get one candidate through their system. Also, the customer representatives that helped us when we were purchasing the software are all of a sudden nowhere to be found once you pay them. They were constantly emailing us multiple times a day before the check was sent out. I email them now and I get no response. This was supposed to be a system to help eliminate some of the job boards we've been using, and all it did was make us need those external job boards even more.
New user

The input is easy, it makes adding people easy to do and it just copies from their resume

So far that my adverts dont link to it. most applicants come through seek and their application doesnt link tot he system
The best recruiting software
Kommentare: I still love the application and will recommend to any organization.
Vorteile:
The features are great and it's user friendly. We can easily upload candidates profile on it and view whenever it's required.
Nachteile:
Scanning of candidates resume is a bit difficult. It can get better.
It’s promising product but raising subscription fee abnormally

Reliable and ease of use stands at the top. Job boards are very effective and we get quality resume.
Nachteile:
It’s started as free app with all the features. The promise of SR was it will remain free. Though it’s still free but full functionality admin controls are now restricted to pod users

Clean Interface for a recruiting app
Vorteile:
Simple and clean interface. Using it for job hunting and the notifications/ application tracking options work very well.
Nachteile:
My only gripe is that for some reason applying via LinkedIn or even adding in LinkedIn just didn't work for me. Tried clearing my cookies, using incognito, anything to try to get it to work. Other than that everything else about it works well.
Smartrecruiter Review

Very easy to use and it can maintain our data easy. Searching resume by Boolean search etc very compatible.
Nachteile:
I never face any issue with smart recruiter. A little issue can be that It is not that much famous like others ATS.
Still feels like a new system; company is making strides for improvement
Vorteile:
Easy to use for both our recruiters and candidates. Mobile applications was easier for users to adapt.
Nachteile:
Reporting is still lacking, need to be able to report more with the system and less through the API's
