Kommentare: Overall its a very helpful and was very satisfied with the services.

Vorteile:

Enables teamwork and allows us to record our conclusions directly in the ticket. It also serves as a source for tracking all of the work completed and the request's testing. A straightforward, adaptable interface that we can deploy for customers with less detail on the outside and within with greater detail. We are even able to incorporate Agile Project Management within it.

Nachteile:

In Displaying Data sometimes it takes so long to get it out.

A very strong competitor in the space, it's worth a try

Kommentare: We use Youtrack to keep track of the development of our software applications. To help consolidate our documentation we also rely on their equivalent of Confluence.

Vorteile:

It's super lightweight compared to Jira. The customizability is nearly infinite but easy to manage and understand. The import tool is very handy to retain historic information from other systems like Jira. They include a Confluence competitor without additional charges. Youtrack doesn't nickel and dime their customers like other solutions. It's truly a great value if you're willing to switch.

Nachteile:

The permission structure of Youtrack is really hard to get right. Trying to assign the right permission to various teams and projects involves a lot of trial and error.

Powerful and Flexible: YouTrack is good for Team Management

Kommentare: youtrack is good for managing sprints and backlogs, and it integrates with other popular tools. However, it may take some time to learn, and it has fewer integrations compared to other tools.

Vorteile:

Creating and managing issues is simple. You can add details, attach files, and categorize tasks with tags. It’s easy to track what’s being worked on, who is working on it, and the task's status

Nachteile:

While Youtrack works well with some popular tools, it doesn't have as many integrations as other tools like Jira. This can be a problem for teams using less common tools

Kommentare: Perfect for small teams to be used primarily for bug tracking, and sprint planning. Easy to setup and use without having to jump through any hoops.
The interface and the whole system is rather intuitive which comes in handy especially for companies where teams work on multiple projects at the same time and more often than not each is tied with another project in one way or another. Comes with plenty of integrations so one can customize as needed.
Everybody at our company loves this product.

Vorteile:

compared to the various bug tracking softwares, this one is super simple, and easy to set up and get going. The interface is intuitive and helps keep sprints clean and organized. Performance is good as long as the setup has been done properly, else you will experience lags. Best for small teams which don't want to deal with the complexities of using JIRA. Pricing is based on storage so that is really very helpful. you can do custom queries to search for bugs, and my team uses it every day during the agile meetings. It comes in really handy.

Nachteile:

Not cons per say but 1. Features keep changing under your legs. For example, the option to search by `Assigned to me` has altogether disappeared from the main menu. Now you have to specially navigate to find that tag. 2. The url is rather long: mycompanyname.myjetbrains.youtrack.com 3. Comment boxes under tickets look rather medieval.

Vorteile:

I liked how easy it was to use, i’m rather fond of jet brains products so I really enjoyed how easy it was to integrate with clion as well.

Nachteile:

As it is a jetbains product there maybe some platform related issues, I experienced these on my linux machine.

A wonderful software you can use.

You are able to track time spent on issues using timers.

Nachteile:

In order to assess the free plan , you need a team up to 10.

smarter tool for Agile projects

Kommentare: I liked it because of the custom workflows and custom dashboards and reports to maintain the team performance

Vorteile:

It supports agile methodologies which makes the team work easier

Nachteile:

It requires scripting knowledge for designing custom workflows which might be difficult for non technical people

YouTrack's configurable features are intriguing to me.

Nachteile:

Some of its plugin features can be a little challenging to set up.

I like it's free for small teams and that it's supported by JetBrains, my favourite company

Vorteile:

The best project management app ever! I love the workflow and interface of the software. Everything is very intuitive, easy to use. I appreciate the individual dashboards and kanban tool, the features give the ability to assign tasks to individual members on a project, it's automated so you avoid the risk of error, it's fast and clear. Integration without problems, the look and functionality of the application. Using @ guarantees collaboration, the individual posts resemble a social network and not a working tool. Very nice software design.

Nachteile:

I have nothing to complain about, I would appreciate maybe some tutorials, but the support is very helpful.

Bugs tracking using YouTrack

Vorteile:

- have a great and smart search tool , you can search by more than one criteria in the same time and in one input by separate it by specials characters - have dynamic/ customize ticket workflow - have smart reporting tool and you can pin it dashboard - have cloud version and standalone

Nachteile:

- we did not find any direct integration with visual studio

Simple and useful but not without some annoying glitches

Vorteile:

It's a web based product, which means that teams in different regions can use it very easily without the use of any VPN connection to a central location. Its Dashboard widgets and agile boards are super useful and easy to use. Many of the fields are super configurable to allow for a very personalized integration.

Nachteile:

Still has some bugs, glitches and UX issues that can be rather annoying at times. Has less integration possibilities with other products than bigger and more known products like Jira.

Complete control over your team work.

Kommentare: Is very awesome. It reduce the time needed to organize the team.

Vorteile:

Youtrack isn't the easier tool to use, I must recognize it, but we need to understand that, with all of it's features that is a necessary circumstance. Youtrack can help you a LOT when you are working with groups of people, you will know what are doing, when and who, you can measure the productivity of your team, create goals and many other things. Forget to think that it is only for programming or teams of programmers, you can use Youtrack in every scenario out there.

Nachteile:

Lack of some integrations, I think YouTrack is as good as Jira but need some extra integrations with others useful tools.

Excellent Product

Kommentare: YouTrack is an effective tool for managing our software development lifecycle.

Vorteile:

YouTrack is a nice to use, fully web based issue tracking and project management tool. The configurability is fantastic and allows our software development team to customise it exactly to our needs.

Nachteile:

The user interface (mainly for configuration) is a little confusing at first, but after a while it's easier to get used to.

Steep learning curve but well worth it

Projects are almost infinitely malleable and customizable

Nachteile:

The solutions are not always right in front of you - a softer UX would help

it's some how configurable, it's really hard to list what I like the most about it

nice try JetBrain! YouTrack is part of the JetBrain family, but i don't see the same quality in YouTrack in other software like PyCharm, this is hard to use, and you have to learn new query language to be an advance user

Excellent tool for modern agile software development

Vorteile:

Excellent integration with Git. Customisable according to our needs and easy issue assignment or reassignment.

Nachteile:

The UI can be a bit better so as to help with the steep learning curve. Slightly costly software for small startups.

Best issue management so far

Vorteile:

For me this is the best issue management software so far. I've used others like Jira, but I really enjoy using Youtrack. Especially the query language is quite cool.

Nachteile:

I really can't think of any, maybe the settings page, it could use some redesign.

Possible up and coming competitor in Issue Tracking software.

Kommentare: I'd offer that you give this software a try, but JIRA may ultimately be the winner if you're looking for Issue Tracking software.

Vorteile:

YouTrack looks like it has a bag full of punches for other software in the space like JIRA. The UI is 10x faster than JIRA, although it still isn't the prettiest. The price is cheaper than JIRA and they offer more customizable reports.

Nachteile:

After initial setup, it was kind of hard to set up users and create issues off the bat. Their UI was a little confusing.

No bad but still have many glitches

Vorteile:

We tried a free version. It has many great tools for project management. Even for big projects.

Nachteile:

It is buggy and it wasn't easy to implement it, so I think the software still needs in improvements

Monitoring, tracking and searching for work is difficult.

Good Ticketing System

Kommentare: We respond to other teams requests within my organization. I also have requests within my own team that are manged with this tool. Overall I am liking it so far.

Vorteile:

This software is easy to use and doesn't take too long to learn. I was up and running within an hour of getting my rights to it.

Nachteile:

I have not come across anything that I feel is negative about this software but I think the admins here might need more training because I am not getting all of the notifications I need.
