It greatly facilitates the organization and distribution of multimedia resources in the company. I love its ability to efficiently store, label and classify all types of files, from images and videos to documents and presentations. In addition, the customizable templates and content creation module help maintain brand consistency across all communications.

Nachteile:

At times, the platform can be a bit slow when loading large files or at times of high traffic.

Very impressed with the platform and the onboarding team

Kommentare: Fantastic experience so far. Our products sell themselves on their imagery. Maintaining a consistent and coherent folder structure and naming convention in traditional platforms like Box and Sharepoint has been a headache for years. Bynder removes a lot of these issues and it is quickly adopted by teams and individuals. The platform has some nice features like the external upload which again has solved a long-standing issue we have had with collecting images from suppliers and being able to ensure the meta properties have been added, has really improved the governance of our digital assets.The onboarding experience has been second to none.

Vorteile:

They are innovative and have some very helpful integrations. There is a good level of customisation that can be done without external support and it is really easy to use. As soon as you demo the product to someone in your organisation, they instantly get it and see the benefits of using the platform.The onboarding experience has been the best I have ever experienced with a software product. The team are very knowledgeable and guides you in small, manageable steps.

Nachteile:

The different tiers of user roles are part of the contract and the number of high-level roles (e.g. Admins) are quite low as standard.

It establishes a system that can be used across all divisions and which can be relied upon to give up-to-date and comprehensive data on our digital holdings.

Vorteile:

Bynder is used all over our company. Bynder has been an extremely flexible option for us to better manage the distribution and use of all of our digital assets. Inefficient time and effort is wasted trying to locate needed digital files that have been dispersed among multiple computers, shared folders, and emails.

Nachteile:

There's no way to keep tabs on which files are being transferred, downloaded, etc. It was difficult to locate assets without knowing precisely where they were stored. To use several filters based on a single metaproperty. Minimization of computerized categorization.

Bynder is very user-friendly and configurable

Kommentare: Our sales and marketing digital asset management system and our graphics digital asset management system needed to be integrated. We required an easy-to-use and easy-to-manage solution. Bynder gives you access to everything.

Vorteile:

It was made clear by the Onboarding Manager exactly what needed to be done and when. They gave us with tools to evaluate and spreadsheets to help us verify the platform's suitability for our purposes. The weekly sessions were fruitful, and the "homework" tasks were manageable. The database is well-built, but it also allows for a great deal of customization.

Nachteile:

Metaproperties and permissions may have benefited from a bit more description of how they're used, especially how they're connected. Things didn't exactly go according to plan, so we had to go back a few times and reorganize.

Intuitive and easy of use

Kommentare: Overall, I really like the way it's setup, and the flexibility you have to customize the product for your brand. We've done away with network folders, we've made more people self sufficient. We now know what assets we have. Duplications are pretty non existent. Got rid of allot of manual work on websites; cropping images, replacing documents etc.

Vorteile:

I like the lack of folder structure, this combined with a good taxonomy, you'll find what you need in seconds.

Nachteile:

Integrations and flexibility with CMS, but it's getting better. The stability and lack of customization of the Analytics. The rest are just some small issues.

Kommentare: Overall the experience has been positive. Bynder works as we expected and we have no issues with it so far.

Vorteile:

Easy to upload new assets and categorize them. Easy to find and download them and to create variations from the original assets, as well as download in different formats.

Nachteile:

The template features are quite limited. Granted this is a DAM tool not a creative tool, so it's understandable the template feature wouldn't be their core strenght. But when compared to other tools that can also do to that, Bynder lags behind.

Our experience with Bynder

Kommentare: The aim was to have an overarching online solution where we can collect all of our assts. The quick access and the user-friendliness of the interface are an advantage here. Bynder is easy to understand, making it the ideal solution for the whole company to access media. We were particularly impressed by the onboarding process with [sensitive content hidden] Initially we had difficulties with the taxonomy. Both of them supported us in every point and stood by our side competently. Thanks for that from the whole team!

Vorteile:

Bynder is easy to use and easy understand. For me as a designer, the connection to the Adobe programs is of great advantage.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the change to the taxonomy is difficult to implement if you haven't dealt with it that much.

Kommentare: Its quite early to say, however having all our logos in one place has been instantly useful. It saves designers time and effort. Uploading photos takes time, but is worth doing well.

Vorteile:

Bynder is an easy to use DAM. It does all that is required very well. It becomes second nature in a very short amount of time. The team atBynder are very good and we have had a great onboarding experience.

Nachteile:

Although Bydner does everything well, some features found in other DAMS are absent. For example, Bynder does not search within images for text (for tagging) and Bynder studio does not support indesign files.How important these small features are to you will be a matter of personal preference.

Bynder is still the leader in DAM and creative management

Kommentare: Bynder has cut the time it takes us to create and share assets by hundreds of hours a year. It has saved our creative team tonnes of work when creating new asset variants.

Vorteile:

Finding the right assets and easily sharing them with both our internal and external stakeholders is a breeze. The user interface is super easy to use.

Nachteile:

Nothing I can think of - maybe a few bits around the waiting room functionality can be improved.

Highly versatile interface and GREAT product!

Kommentare: We have pushed BrandConnect "to the limit" a few times, and have experienced nothing but positive customer service and a "what can we do to make this happen?" attitude from the WebDAM team. They continue to evolve the interface so that it is becoming a fully-customizable portal, which is adaptable for different client needs. Dynamic Templates are the perfect way to allow users to customize marketing collateral, while still maintaining the approved messaging and Brand attributes we need, as well as Legal and regulatory requirements. Users have easy, organized access to all approved materials, and can customize and download from anywhere at any time - on their schedules! This has been a game-changer for us as a marketing tool and I look forward to leveraging all the enhancements they have on this year's roadmap. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for features only because these have not yet been released but the fact that they are working on the updates and that this product will soon surpass all our expectations is AWESOME!

It isn't COMPLETELY customizable yet, but it is on the roadmap so that isn't even really a valid "con" - I had to search for one, because I love this platform and this vendor.

Intuitive system -works great.

Kommentare: It's much easier for sales reps to find the content they need, rather than asking me for files multiple times per day. I love that you don't have to slog through folders - you can mix and match tags/filters to find exactly what you want in very little time. It's also been great to have public links to the files (if desired) to send them out to people outside of the company, like prospects.
Way, way better than Dropbox... there's also rudimentary tracking features which could be improved but already have come a long way in the 2 years we've had the system.

Vorteile:

It is very easy to find what you need, and it's really easy to train new employees on it - I basically tell them it's like searching on Amazon. It's a huge upgrade from the folder-based system we were using before (Dropbox). I really like that if an asset needs to be updated, you only have to upload the new version to one place. Our client service rep is also wonderful.

Nachteile:

It was a slog to get the system fully implemented. I suppose that's the case with any digital asset management system, though. It is also pretty expensive for what seems like relatively simple software.

Vorteile:

We have been able to significantly reduce the amount of time project managing our creative requests since rolling out Webdam to our organization.

Nachteile:

There are a few minor annoying things - for example, when showing a list of tasks it shows 20 on a page. Instead of being able to "show all" - you only have the option to "show more". When you have 800 tasks, that is a lot of clicking@

Good product, could be even better

Kommentare: We are generally happy with the product solution and feel it is better than the other ones we evaluated during the review phase. When customers make feature suggestions you should try to find out what scenario is taking place that makes these ideas so needed. Understanding your customers' workflows can be quite revealing.

Vorteile:

It's very important for us for our end-users to find the database easy to use, as our potential audience is around 80,000. For the most part, users seem to find WebDAM easy to use. Administering, uploading photos and making simple changes are fairly easy to handle, although there are some situations where we do need help from WebDAM to figure out. The emails and blog are helpful for users to get to know the product better.

Nachteile:

- The single biggest feature problem that affects users, is that we aren't able to custom edit the email that goes out to users after they register. We aren't able to tell them their account will be not activated immediately -- and when you're in the business of providing assets, customers are generally in a panicked state of needing them. - We had a lot of trouble setting up permissions for different groups to view or not view folders that required extended tech support with WebDAM. Because the process of doing this is not intuitive, it is hard to share this information with other administrators here. - I would say that none of the feature suggestions we've send along have yet been implemented. So I do wonder what better, more important features other users of your product are sending that catch your eye.

Good product that met our needs for a while

Kommentare: It solved a lot of problems and was a great first step. Eventually we moved to a more sales-enablement focused platform that accomplished digital asset management plus sales enablement all integrated with Salesforce. But the marketing team was very happy with Bynder.

Vorteile:

Easy to manage and tag assets; version control of all assets; easy to share assets out with internal stakeholders, clients and prospects using collections.

Nachteile:

Until the end, we heard complaints from sales that it was too hard to find things. Too many results would come up and in no particular priority order.

Kommentare: WebDAM has some great new features that they have begun to offer and it appears the product is going in the right direction. Here are some suggests for improvement: The user interface should be more dynamic and have more options for branding. Perhaps offering different branding options and templates, or page layouts. It would be nice to see some integration with WebDAM with other portal environments. I would love to embed the webdam library inside of our SharePoint Intranet environment. This should appear seamless to the end user. Also, providing integration with 3rd party security authorities, directory services like LDAP and AD should be on the road map as well. Also an ability to verify a registered user is human i.e. captcha would alleviate some the burden on us to verify the legitimacy of a user request. While the Admin interface is getting better, there are still bugs with different browsers. Overall WebDAM is on the right track we are intrigued to see where the company goes in the next year.

The last release has a built in CMS editor that you can use to create and customize new pages in your WebDAM. Very effective for large and growing companies

Kommentare: overall very happy and would recommend this product to any mid to large size organization that's looking to centralize their assets with a single source of truth. Setup was relatively quick and easy and the onboarding team was fun to work with.

Vorteile:

- Bynder is the most user-friendly and easy to use digital asset manager with extensive features and add on products for the entire org - Support is amazing - quick, thoughtful, and helpful - ease of use for entire team is much better than our previous dam manager - centralize all new and existing content for external stakeholders with one tool - completely customizable to our own company

Nachteile:

Integrations and flexibility with CMS, but it's getting better At one time, I was receiving slow customer service, but its been rectified and has been really good lately templates studio can be clunky sometimes

Bynder is really robust, customizable, easy to use and intuitive which is why we went with the platform after researching options.

Nachteile:

There is one little quirk I have stumbled upon with naming the various properties you can assign to your media, but nothing that would prevent me from suggesting the platform.

Vorteile:

What I love most about Bynder is just user friendly the interface is. Everything is in the right place, which makes it super simple to figure out on your own, with little to no guidance. Their API is also really easy to use with plenty of options to integrate your third party tools.

Nachteile:

I would love more built in integration possibilities, like auto import from Adobe stock or similar.

Bynder is a great tool

Vorteile:

I really like how this a great source to keep all your images. You can search by any key words and download it in different formats and sizes. Also really love the way you can keep them organized

Nachteile:

Its a great tool, I only know so much of how to use it but some of the tags and stuff to fill in when uploading pictures seem a bit convoluted

Love the free try

Kommentare: As an enrtepenour in a country like Argentina, i cant afford to pay professionals each time i need to make some modification to my social media videos. Bynder was my solution to that need. Its easy to to create, edit and adding sound and music.

Vorteile:

It has so many features, so usefull. But The only feature I used is the video editing feature. And it is super recommended, to achieve quick changes for my social networks. An extra tip: its super easy to share in social media , its adjust to what you need. You can also check for the perfomance of the video as a campaing, really cool info you could you, i donna wanna lie i didnt use it to much, but its seems really cool.

Nachteile:

As I said I didn't use it much but I didn't find any major faults, the search function seemed very outdated no biggie. It seems to expensive for me, so i only use it free trial.
