Marketing Made Easy

Vorteile:

I have been using RoboHead for almost 2 years now and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best marketing management tools out there. It really does provide a clean and intuitive place to manage multiple projects from start to finish and makes viewing each life cycle simple. The reporting feature is fairly robust; however, I am I am able to export data into a variety of places as I also work a lot with other reports in Excel and Access.

Nachteile:

Although the reporting works well enough, there ought to be more flexibility with the data that is used for reporting as well as customizable templates. More often than not, I need to export data into Excel to create customized graphs for use in more finely tuned reports.

Projects are Made Easier with RoboHead

Kommentare: I started using RoboHead after I had experience with another PM software (Wrike) which was extremely user-friendly and easy to learn. RoboHead had a little bit more of a learning curve, which admittedly made me a little slow to embrace the software. Since then, I've really come around on RoboHead and found it to be quite useful. I think the software could be a little more streamlined and the UI could definitely use a face lift. I would look at Wrike for inspiration on the UI side, but think that RH is vastly superior on the actual planning/backend side of things.

Vorteile:

I like the organization that it provides for my day to day operations and the ease of reviewing creative.

Nachteile:

The lack of being able to build subtasks under tasks can make things difficult. I think the UI is a little underwhelming, and could be improved to make the product look/feel more advance. Also mobile functionality is a major weakness for a marketing managers who are on the road and not always in front of a computer. I feel severely handcuffed if I have to do anything in RH on mobile. This is probably an issue on my team's end, but sometimes individuals get buried with RH email notifications and can't easily discern priority ones.

Switched to Robohead with Great Ease

Kommentare: My team went from guinea pig for the use of Robohead at our company to now the entire company is using it. From my perspective we are all using it with ease.

Vorteile:

Robohead was very easy to learn and use. It is fairly intuitive. It's been a great asset at my company to submit and fulfill requests for all departments of the company.

Nachteile:

There are a few minor issues that I have but I'm not sure if it's user error or what. The due dates for projects to line up across views when multiple people are assigned to a project. As a photo editor my deadline is often different that a designer or art director's due date. In my task view the final deadline is what I see but in the details the due date is different.

Managing a Marketing Team supporting multiple Departments

Vorteile:

Robohead is incredibly robust for creative/marketing teams who need a project management tool geared toward this industry. And they have amazing support and training opportunities, plus a phenomenal team to guide you at anytime.

Nachteile:

It has a very steep learning curve. Takes time to invest in the learning because it is so comprehensive or robust.

Great Support Team!

Vorteile:

Love the help and advice the Aquent team provides! We meet periodically throughout the year with ideas and challenges that we face as we try to find more effective and efficient ways to work as an organization and RoboHead is a tool that has been very helpful in our processes. With the help of [sensitive content hidden] and the Aquent team, they have really helped with maximizing the tools capabilities for our organization. Thank you!

Nachteile:

Can be too stringent based on where fields are and may need to make overarching changes to get the update needed. Most of the time, we find a work around.

Excellent project management solution

Kommentare: I highly recommend Robohead as a project management solution. The platform has greatly streamlined our marketing workflow and enhanced project collaboration and reporting.

Vorteile:

Robohead has made project management and creative review in our Marketing Department so much more efficient. Through the use of project templates, task dependencies, project initiation and progress management is streamlined. The responsiveness of the Robohead support team is very good in the rare instance of a problem and they are always updating and improving the platform.

Nachteile:

The setup of project templates can be time consuming initially, but well worth the effort as this streamlines the project setup and management for reoccurring projects.

RoboHead a GREAT tool to improve your business results

Vorteile:

The functionality of the tool, ease of use, and adaptability make it a great day-to-day tool to ensure the team success!

Nachteile:

I think the only "down side" would be that not many people know about this tool, so training is a must when adopting it.

Project Management Made Easy

Kommentare: Robohead has been a game-changer for our marketing department. The ability to create schedules for our different types of projects, each with their unique tasks is key. The review capabilities allow multiple parties to review a job simultaneously, speeding up our workflow.

Vorteile:

Robohead is easy to use and provides the tools necessary for our team to manage our project schedules and conduct internals reviews.

Nachteile:

Robohead randomly logs you out sometimes.

Pretty good, wish the calendar was different

I like the main view the my work page. It's easy to tell the status of a project

Nachteile:

I seem to not get notifications, also it will glitch out sometimes. I wish there was a better calendar view that told me just when things are due and what the project is and not the task.

Multi-functional project management system

Vorteile:

What I like most about this software is how it can be customized to any area of the company. It is a growing project management system that can be changed in a fly.

Nachteile:

The only thing we don't love is the fact about the extra steps in assigning a project and not able to customize the reviews.

Great tool for project management

Nachteile:

There are a few manual status-changes that we wished were automated. It would also be nice to show projects with upcoming due dates clearer for status reports.

Marketing Traffic Manager

Kommentare: In my role as administrator and marketing traffic manager, I have used Robohead in all its versions since 2011, while at two different companies. Robohead gives me the tools I need to do my job in overseeing all the department's projects, deadlines, resources, and tasks, from start to finish.
The basic construct of the project is very good. Functionality, we're able to categorize a job as a request or project, and to easily identify whether it's active or archived. All our projects are entered here, and all related files are attached to their projects. The library is a place where we store the most sought-after assets. I customize reports to suit the needs of our three weekly project meetings. Fortunately there is enough flexibility built into the filtering that we can always generate a meaningful report, or at least one that serves as a baseline, a starting point. To me, the key is defining your project fields such that you can sort, filter, and report out on the most important information you manager or associates would ever need.
One of the biggest selling points for us is the review process and its related functionality. It gave us the platform to reach out beyond our internal marketing group to other teams in the company or elsewhere, and to be able to capture everyone's input in one space. The notification process has gone a long way in making Robohead as functionally practical as it is. I think it might still be a little too complicated, but it's an effective communication and audit tool in the system.
No software is perfect, however we appreciate that the developers are continually working on Robohead. What would make the application incredible is dynamic scheduling of some typeWhen schedules get behind, it takes considerable task management on my part to ensure that due dates in everyone's My Work are updated and meaningful. Also, I'd like to see one function return'actual versus projected task due dates.

Vorteile:

Flexibility - you allow the user (administrator) to easily manipulate the system to suit our needs.

Nachteile:

No connection between task predecessors and tasks displayed in My Work. Users don't look at the bigger picture, so if a job is running behind there is no way for them to know that unless they go into the project itself. Most users rely on My Work, and that doesn't always sync up with reality. Requires manual intervention by someone to always be manipulating the tasks.

Customizable Project Management System

Vorteile:

Robohead is a very customizable system that can be adjusted to meet the needs of the team. We use the system to oversee all of the projects funneling through our internal creative agency, and it's simple for each account/project manager to customize the views to see only the items relevant to their daily work, but we can see the bigger picture of what our team is working on too. The customer service is excellent - I always receive timely assistance when I chat with the support team, and most of the time they can resolve the issue on the spot. In the event that they cannot quickly resolve the issue, I receive detailed follow-up when they do resolve it. Robohead also listens to their customers through the enhancement suggestions. The release webinars are valuable to learn about the updates and new features that are added.

Nachteile:

There are a few pieces of browser functionality that don't work with RH. Currently there's not a way to duplicate a tab in the browser and get to the same place in RH (this would be useful when cross-referencing job details and reviews, for example) and the "back" button doesn't work either. Neither are deal-breakers, just would be nice to have. It would be nice for account/project managers to be able to organize the "My Work" view for project team members (when multiple tasks for different projects are due on the same day, sometimes there is a certain order that things should be worked on, and that has to be manually communicated instead of something we can organize in the system).

RoboHead Users for 20+ years

Kommentare: With the sheer amount of projects within our department, RoboHead has been an essential tool for us. Fantastic support and we look forward to possibly integrating other tools into our cloud.

Vorteile:

We love how customizable RoboHead is. Our team is easily able to learn how to create fields for data we want to gather based on project type. Additionally, the support offered by RoboHead is key. Reaching out to the support team garners a very quick response. Our team has submitted several enhancements requests which have been implemented which is awesome. Our team wanted to streamline how we were providing files to our printers and other vendors. Each group within the team was using either a vendor FTP, email, or RoboHead. We created library folders for each team with specific permissions and create notes for each file delivered. This provides us with proof of file transfer and receipt by the vendors and is consistent across the teams.

Nachteile:

There could be some expansion on the Roboscripts. For instance, if a review in a specific project type is marked as complete and approved, we'd like to automate that the review files automatically transfer to the files tab of the project.

Robohead is great solution to creative project management.

Kommentare: We were facing a failing software solution and Robohead helped us to quickly get up and running with a PM solution that worked.

Vorteile:

It was very Easy to implement and maintain. Plus the tracking capabilities were awesome.

Nachteile:

Not as customizable as I would like. It was difficult to integrate our custom numbering system.

Great tool for a daily project management use

Kommentare: RoboHead is our main project management tool, it is easy to use once you had all your forms set-up. We were able to import all our data from our previous management tool which has thousands of project information since 2001.

Vorteile:

I like the wide arrange of options RoboHead has. We had been using it for a couple of years and still finding new things we can do with it. The file review process is so nice, especially if you have many reviewers, Robohead put all the comments into one file and that help us save a lot of time and be more efficient. You can control all the aspect of the review process on one screen (who has replied, how many comment you had received, due date, reminders, notes, etc.).

Nachteile:

We can't customize how a form result is printed. You get an excel file that has to be formatted and that is very time consuming.

RoboHead: A Vital Tool for Project Management

Vorteile:

Project management in RoboHead stands out as the best part of the platform due to its comprehensive tools and features that streamline tasks, enhance collaboration, and provide real-time insights, ultimately ensuring efficient project execution and successful outcomes.

Nachteile:

The multiple email notifications about new requests in RoboHead are the part I like least about using the platform because they can lead to email overload and disrupt my workflow, making it challenging to focus on essential tasks.

Project Management and More

Kommentare: Robohead not only acts as a solid project management tool, but the benefits of reporting has been instrumental in supporting the need for justifying new staff in addition to demonstrating work volume by department teams and team members. When all embrace the system, it allows for consistent workflow that keeps project moving smoothly. While no system replaces communication, Robohead provides functionality that allows for collaboration, documentation, approvals, archive retrieval, searching and other processes instrumental in a successful workflow. When issues occur, the support team is prompt to respond and speaks in easy-to-understand language to resolve the issue.

RoboHead is a valuable project management tool

Kommentare: If you've got a guide sheet when you first begin using it, or a few training sessions, it's easy to get accustomed to it. Once you know your way around, it really is a valuable tool for your workplace.

Vorteile:

It's so integrated with the teams working on the project. Everyone knows the status of the project, who's working on what, what tasks are completed, and if the project is on its timeline for completion. Love that it keeps me organized with task reminders.

Nachteile:

It's dependent on the people who use it. If one person habitually doesn't update their tasks or ignores the reminders...it can delay the project's progress.

Keeps me on track, eliminates email madness

Kommentare: As a marcom manager, I work with various vendors to accomplish our project work. Before Robohead it was a constant email search to find the latest version attachment or refresh my memory on project status. Robohead is easy and flexible - you can develop a highly detailed campaign brief or simply open a project and associate tasks, receiving an email reminder at due date. When you're juggling numerous projects and priorities, it's great to have a one-stop destination to refresh on project status and do easy on-line reviews of work in progress. My designers won't start work on a project without a Robohead entry! I've used Basecamp - which is a great solution, but Robohead is so easy and accessible and a bargain for the price.

Powerful project management tool that generally speaking, is usually easy to navigate through.

Kommentare: Better organization and coordination of all our projects, with a wide variety of options on how to effectively and efficiently manage everything.

Vorteile:

There are a wealth of features and functionalities in this software that allow the user to customize their experience and adapt to their specific needs. Projects, tasks, notes, files and more facets of each project can all be setup, controlled, monitored and navigated to optimize everyone's workloads and project statuses.

Nachteile:

Because of the expansive options available, there can sometimes be almost too many checkboxes or options that aren't always the most intuitive or user-friendly to navigate through. I've had a few experiences where I'm looking for something that appears to be pretty basic, and when I mention it to our Project Leader, the response is "Oh...you need to check this here and then it will work". So there's definitely a learning curve involved, but probably not all that different than most similar softwares.

Ongoing updates

Kommentare: We started in 2014 with RH and watched grow, improving in look and overall functionality. It has been instrumental in project development and through reporting, demonstrated and resulting in allowing resource additions.

Vorteile:

Robohead is constantly reviewing and updating the system - keeping it in line with user needs. Support is second to none - prompt, understandable, personal, and thorough.

Nachteile:

The system could use:1) more direct capability for waterfall and agile workflows2) better absence from office task assigning (temporary delegate)

Robohead Streamlined our Workflow

Vorteile:

There is not a piece of functionality I can think of that this software doesn't have! With the ability to completely cater and restructure tasks, projects, campaigns, requests, and reviews Robohead helps our team be completely transparent in what we're doing, where we are, and what we've accomplished while also helping us determine where our speed bumps are within any given project.

Nachteile:

It is definitely overwhelming at first when getting acquainted with the software. There are some tasks that in a way I wish could be assigned to the same person instead of making redundant tasks, but that could also be where we need to make adjustments to how we operate as a team.
