Very simple to use and a great way to track approvals for time off

Vorteile:

Simple interface, an end user really only needs to use a single screen with a basic form on it which creates a new request. On the same screen, you can see your existing requests and whether they're approved or not. The ability to notify another email address about time off requests is handy (for a spouse for instance).

Nachteile:

The feature set is basic (though this may be all that most people need). The interface is functional, but not very pretty.

Love the way it keeps my office organized!

Kommentare: Time off requests have never so easy! Daily reminders of birthdays, employee anniversaries, and conflicting appointments make it easy to never forget something important again! I would highly recommend this program to anyone!

I wish time off requests or any important dates were emailed as a reminder 24 hours prior to the event.

Tracksmart Attendance - needs some feature updates

Kommentare: We have not noticed any updates to Tracksmart since we began using it 3 years ago. I am considering looking for something else.

Vorteile:

We have been using Track Smart for 3 years. Generally it is easy for employees to enter time and PTOs. The reports are ok.

Nachteile:

If there is a change to be made, all employees have to come to the administrator to make the change. I wish we could eliminate all the extra banks of time... we only use PTO so I have to go in a manage it every month if the supervisors don't select the correct bank. PTOs for time off are counted on the first day of the time off. We pay bi-monthly so this has messed up some hourly workers - for example if an employee takes 5 days off and it starts on the 14th and ends on the 19th - all of the time off will go onto the 14th. The Supervisors do not receive notification when a time sheet is submitted.

An Affordable Timecard System

Kommentare: I have a large staff and so changing organizational systems is always a little nerve wracking. TrackSmart Attendance was surprisingly easy to implement, and I got very little push back from staff. So overall, I've been VERY pleased with it. It also has a good price point.

Vorteile:

I've used several attendance tracker programs, and TrackSmart has been one of the easiest and most flexible that I've experienced. I especially appreciate two things: 1. it is easy to use without a lot of managerial administration and 2. it is a great way to track paid time off. The system is very easy to set up to work with most organizational time off policies.

Nachteile:

There was very little in terms of drawbacks of this software. It is flexible enough to work with our PTO policy and it is very easy in terms of manager administration and employee use.

Does a great job of streamlining time sheets/calendar/time-off requests.

Vorteile:

For a long time, this process was all done on paper in our office. Tracksmart was a game changer for us, allowing us to streamline how we manage time sheets, time off requests, and seeing a up-to-date calendar of who's out of the office.

Nachteile:

I really wish there was a way to get an email notification for when a Time Sheet has been submitted. Also, wish there was a good mobile app to be able to manage entries and requests.

Great product!

Vorteile:

I loved how easy it was to track time and attendance. If something needed to be corrected it was an easy process. There was no guess work. I love it. Oh, and the time that i needed customer service, they were friendly, quick, and so efficient!

Nachteile:

I honestly do not have any cons that I would be able to list. this is an excellent software program!

Tracksmart is great!

Vorteile:

Tracksmart is great for small business! We have a staff of under 20 and use the Attendance to track time in and out for each employee.

Nachteile:

Tracksmart is great the only thing I would change is the the way the 40hr week is split up. Once it's submitted you can't go back.

Track smart is awesome, my company has been using it for 3 years now.

What i like most about the track smart software is it is extremely easy to navigate. Users in the office do not have any issues recording their time

The least thing I find less admirable about the tracksmart software is the way the overtime is calculated

TrackSmart...a solid investment!

Vorteile:

I really like the ability to track all of the different leaves that our employees are eligible for. This makes it very easy for me to process the leave information in payroll and gives me the confidence to know that leave balances are accurate.

Nachteile:

There's not really much of anything that I don't like about this software. It provides for what I need.

TrackSmart makes HR a breeze!

Kommentare: TrackSmart has vastly improved our PTO system. Gone are the days of manually tracking on excel spreadsheets, countless disputes from employees who think their balance should be higher than what it is and so on. The only thing I REALLY wish I could do on TrackSmart is load PTO banks for the coming year before the year starts (i.e. I wish I could load the 2017 time banks and approve 2017 time off requests... instead they just have to sit as pending until after 1/1/2017).

Vorteile:

Employees can keep track of their own PTO balances rather than dispute with managers. They can also see their balances so it reduces the number of inquiries management receives.

Nachteile:

Inability to load next year's time bank before the year hits.

Great Software, Updates would make it even better

Kommentare: I use track smart for our business of 50 employees. It has freed up time for processing and tracking vacation accruals for sure. It also makes it a breeze to see who else is off when you receive a vacation request. Potential conflicts or other company events that may be going on. This is wonderful and leaves little room for conflicting vacation schedules. One improvement that could be made to make life easier for the admin is to have each employees time off bank balances show on the employee list screen. So that I don't have to research each employee individually to find balances. A quick glance at the employee screen for that important info would be great! Otherwise a great software.

Managers cannot edit or adjust their employee requests for them.

Try it before you judge it!

Kommentare: I would highly recommend tracksmart to small and large corporations. The accuracy of data, the ease of use and most of all the multiplicity of reports. It made my job so easy as appose to the archaic method I was using, by putting the time off on a color-coded calendar. I like the fact that the employees can access the site as well and input time off data. A good management of time for all concerned for such a nominal cost. Less than a full-time employees salary.

Track Employee PTO

Vorteile:

Employee's like the mobile app and how easy it is to request time off. As an administrator I like all the available reports and that I can download them as Excel documents for easy editing.

Nachteile:

As an admin I don't like that we cannot modify the time off banks. The only one we use is "PTO" and I'm having to constantly go in and modify accepted time to reflect the correct time off bank otherwise the employee's accrual will be wrong.

Financial Officer

Kommentare: TrackSmart is user-friendly! We have efficiently streamlined our record keeping & communication with employees by moving to TrackSmart. We've also eliminated our time clock for hourly employees. Saving time & money :)

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

Wish we had the ability to customize our accrual banks just a little bit more. Contract employee (teachers) calendar year run differently than administrative & hourly employees.

Kommentare: Tracksmart is user friendly, accurate, and inexpensive. Great product for our size office. Offers webinars to keep me updated on regulations. Friendly and helpful customer service. I recommend it.

Attendance information goes away at year end. Terrible! There should be a way to retrieve year end information even after it has cleared out for January.

Great tool for HR managers and similar professions.

Kommentare: Great software for the price and it is easy to use regardless of computer skills.

It is very easy to manage and use. The report generator is a great add. The cost vs. other systems is good too.

Nachteile:

When rolling this out in my facility, there was a bug in the system. The bug changed the number of hours that were previously entered. This made some very, very happy and other very, very mad. It has since been fixed but still not a great way to roll out new software.

At times the program gets hung up requiring a restart to clear the issue. It would also be nice if the software rejected an approval if the individual does not have time remaining.

TrackSmart and small business.

Kommentare: As small business managers often wear many hats. In my case, HR is one of mine. I am very pleased with TrackSmart and the ability to record all the necessary areas for my 12 employees. The price is very reasonable and I will continue to be a customer.

Kommentare: I've found track smart to be very helpful in small business to track vacation and sick paid time off. At this point, I can't imagine not using it.

The reports. 1 report that shows each employee name, what dates they have taken off, how many they have left which is run by the hire date would be helpful. The systems have this information but on separate reports.

A Really Good Program

Kommentare: I would reccommend this to anyone looking for an attendance program. Very easy to use, easy to set up new employees, and nice reporting.

I wish there were some different options on the drop down lists. I can't seem to get it to track our vacation and personal days the way ours are set up.
