Kommentare: Support is great, they helped with custom app integrations during implementation. Apps that allow for automatic provisioning save a lot of time, just add a group to the app and all users on that group are added to the app so we don't have to setup users in various SAS apps.

Vorteile:

Large app integration catalogue. Most of our apps already had integrations available so getting started was quick and easy.

Nachteile:

Cost is a factor when implementing this product.

Kommentare: I like the dashboard of being able to create schedules and calendars of employees assigned to certain after hour responsibilities. When the password prompts you to reset, it won't allow it. It will ask for a security phrase that I was told "has no answer" so you'll never get back in and you have to reach out to customer service to have it reset. None of the security questions you pick are relative.

Okta Review: My thoughts

Kommentare: My overall experience with Okta has been nothing but a great one. It's the center of all of my workload and it's easy to use and is as well to other employees.

Vorteile:

What I like most about Okta is the user interface. This is very easy to use and love how effective this product is for our company

Nachteile:

The thing I like least are the missing tiles that occasionally tends to happen. This is a small issues but thought I should note here.

Kommentare: It is a good product but the mobile app needs improvement.

Vorteile:

Okta has a very good security system like an in-built 2 factor authentication, also it has many tools which can be accessed using a single login, our organization has our own tool which we ll need to login and verify using Okta so that we have access to it so overall its a very good product with various ways to authenticate ourselves.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the mobile app is not responsive, I think there is a need to improve that when we login through notifications the app will not sync or detect this particular login so we have to switch over to manually typing the code which shows on the app.

Kommentare: We are having a great journey with Okta so far once it got implemented in our workforce. Specially when managing a big volume of sensitive files, it has always been a matter of concern in terms of privacy but with Okta authentication service, it makes us worry free. We have integrated Okta with almost all the tool we use in our work and this has provided with an extra layer of security for other tools as well.

Vorteile:

Okta comes with a bundle of tools inbuilt whihc makes this software like all in one app. It comes with more than 5000 integrations built in which makes it one of the most useful tool when it comes to security purposes. The multi factor authentication makes the security aspects even more commendable. Other good stuffs about the software is the User customised SSO portal with self service to all license holders.

Nachteile:

There's barely any tool whihc comes closer to this software but in terms of price, Okta stands at top which makes it costly for small businesses whihc should be looked after for.

Kommentare: Overall, it is a great tool that I have used in more than one company and can understand why it's used in a lot of tech companies. I would recommend this tool.

Vorteile:

I love how easy Okta is to use. Once you login, all the apps that you have access to are just a simple click away. It feels like an added level of security as I've tried to access some apps listed in Okta by just using the site's password and username, but was redirected to sign in through Okta instead.

Nachteile:

Only real challenge is how often we are prompted to change our password. It can take some creativity to come up with new and unused passwords every couple months. (Although I fully understand and respect the frequent password changes as that is part of good security practices.)

Vorteile:

Single sign-on and password less login are Okta's strongest features that has integrating access across many work application software, adding extra security layers, and making the process to login easier especially when I use various type of tools for work operation. It really has making it easy to controlling user access and keep things secure from unauthorized access. Fast setup with assistance from customer support permit us to start use it in no time.

Nachteile:

Still no option to access it from biometric of face recognition & verification. It will remove so much hassle to typing my password everything I am accessing different account. Some of the more advance tools take more time and effort to learn, but the guide documentation is complete and I can find the answer from the FAQ section.

Has very incredible features and it's ease of use is on another level. It provides strong authentication and authorization and provides the highest level of security. A very reliable and trustworthy software when it comes to delivering secure products. This is an interesting software that you ought to try.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately no cons for Okta, it amazing.

Kommentare: Overall Okta is easy to use! My browser automatically pops up prompting if I want to save my password with Okta. I get push notifications for 2-factor on my phone are very nice!

Nachteile:

I only use Okta as an employee so I'm not sure how the backend is for administrators, but I don't dislike very much! It would be nice if old apps I no longer have licenses for through my employer disappeared off my dashboard

Robust application to manage identity and login details

Kommentare: Excellent identity management platform to protect and store all my login details securely.

Vorteile:

Authentication and SSO module helped me to quickly access to account for different website and application. Securing username and password on their cloud storage ensure my identity is protected from identity theft and phishing attack since the software will also verify website validity before letting me to login.

Nachteile:

I used to have access problem to my account and the system keep rejecting my authentication. All is fine after customer support agent helps me with the issues and I never happen again after that.

Okta is a great work asset

Kommentare: Overall I would say it is a great app for accessing all your web based apps and storing passwords.

Vorteile:

Having all my work web apps in one place, and the Alt+O quick key to bring search/open an app.

Nachteile:

When accessing it on mobile (outside of office) I have to send myself a code to type in and it only lets you choose a max of 2 days before it asks you again.

Okta is a great all in one platform for any company to help their employees be more efficient and organzised. The platform helps keep track of all the software and portals for each employee and you can customize each user hub individually to meet their needs.

Nachteile:

Overall the Okta hub is great, it can be well customized to meet your requirements. I think the portal can be much more fun but it is super easy and to the point.
