The full package - easy to use, great support, makes admin efficient!

Kommentare: I will continue to use it and prefer it over other EHRs that are out there.

Vorteile:

The platform is pleasant to look at and interface with. Many automated features that help me make fewer mistakes - meaning less revenue lost. The way of keeping a chart is intuitive and streamlined.

Nachteile:

I am not a big fan of the telehealth feature - it costs more to host more than one client/family member and I don't think you can screen share.

Best Decision I Made

Vorteile:

It is so very easy to use and the support staff has been the best I have ever used. Whether I am emailing or talking over the phone, they listen and are able to answer my questions with ease. They are always updating their product and listen to users when we have ideas or suggestions.

Nachteile:

I have 2 cons to using this product. One is the lack of secondary billing, though I know they are working on it. The second is the lack of ease in trying to have a non-therapist or non-therapy related events through the platform. I have a yoga teacher on staff and I would love to be able to incorporate her schedule into the platform. I offer Reiki sessions and struggle to find an easy way to get someone set up and scheduled.

Not for prescribers

Kommentare: Not the worst but by far not the best either. Will be switching to a different system soon.

Vorteile:

Great therapy note template. Ease of charging copays to client. Easily pull in intake information, however some of the intake is pyschotherapy based and not medication provider based.

Nachteile:

Medication provider notes are all free text. The system constantly lags no matter what intenet connection I use or that I clear my internet history and cache daily. Tech support tells me that the lag is me and my connection. Sending prescriptions is a nightmare, the tab to aend prescriptions will disappear and then reappear and then that tab takes 2-3 minutes to load. Then if a prescription does not go through since this does not communicate with therapy notes there is no notification.

Basic but efficient

Kommentare: Overall, Therapy Notes is a great program, especially for those running their own business. Its got very simple and easy to navigate features

I love the discount and pricing of the actual program. Also, the to-do list feature saves me so much!

Nachteile:

costumer support isn't my favorite but its not bad

Longtime customer of TN - almost 10 years

Kommentare: Love love love!!! My experience has been fantastic on all areas of running a single private practice and growing into a large group private practice that accepts most major insurance carriers. Highly recommended.

Vorteile:

I love the intuitive structure of TN and the prompts that make everything easy to set up. TherapyNotes support desk is the absolute best I have ever encountered in any capacity or task. TN makes it easy to expand your practice and grow in ways that need business support without taking away from clinical time. I love the ability to give some transparency to the therapist that chose to work in my group. TN really makes running a large group practice possible without breaking the bank or losing clinical time (or my mind).

Nachteile:

That every issue I have to call support desk for is a USER ERROR!!!! One thought I had was that other therapists in my group practice can see each others revenue report. I love I can bring this up to TN and they add it to the list of things they work on - TN has made updates that I have requested in the past and it's so lovely.

Excellence

Vorteile:

Ease of use and immediate contact with person for any questions about the product. Superior customer support. This is an excellent product that offers scheduling options, encounter notes, file storage, clearinghouse EDI, ERA, patient messaging, telehealth video, and superior support. It's excellent.

Hands Down Makes My Life Easier

Vorteile:

TherapyNotes makes my life as a therapist and practice owner easier. Easy to customize (most) forms (and the ones that are less customizable it seems they are updating to make more so!). I find the charting to be very user-friendly, and, if you're billing insurance, they include within their documentation everything that insurance companies would require. And if I ever have any questions, the customer service is truly remarkable - very knowledgable, wonderful follow up and follow through, and I have never once spoken with someone where I felt like I was someone inconveniencing them or they hated their job (which, sadly, can happen with a lot of customer service!).

Nachteile:

I honestly don't have any major complaints. The most recent treatment plan update is a bit cumbersome but they put out an announcement that they were getting that feedback and were making improvements immediately.

Best software there is in the market

Kommentare: I am very happy with how this software makes my work easier and how fast I complete my notes and get paid quickly on top of it!

TherapyNotes BEST ever!!!

Vorteile:

The getting started videos are great. Customer support is in the USA!!!!!! They spend as much time as needed and they are encouraging. The credit card processing is the best I have ever used. Their Golden Thread Method leaves no stone upturned. The telemed is much better then the competition. I would highly recommend this platform.

Nachteile:

it does not track external authorization which is highly needed to EAP session

Excellent EHR for mental health companies

Kommentare: It’s been very helpful in navigating insurance discrepancies and customer service has been very helpful with that area as well.

Vorteile:

We love how easy clinicians can navigate the system, the frequent updates, and customer service is superb.

Nachteile:

I think there are opportunities to include several assessments yet but they continue to work on that by adding more and more.

Worth it! A few changes would make TherapyNotes the perfect mental health EMR!

Vorteile:

Excellent and quick telephone customer service with an expansive hours of operation, ease of insurance billing, simple design that is easy to follow, comprehensive and accurate to-do list, large selection of detailed online help/support pages. TherapyNotes is also proactive with updating their software on a regular basis.

Nachteile:

When registering a new client, they are only granted TherapyPortal Access for seven days. This has proven to be an issue numerous times when the client needed to contact me to resend their link to access the portal. Also, it is a major inconvenience that clients cannot reset their own passwords on the portal. Clients must contact an administrator in order to reset their own password; there is no reason this should be the case. When using a Telehealth session, there is a pop up that appears stating the connection is poor even when it is not; this can be distracting. For the Calendar view, I would prefer that I can see my entire day on one screen without scrolling. Sometimes there is excessive clicking; I dislike that there is no one-click option to charge all/multiple copays for all clients at the end of the day.

Vorteile:

Excellent customer service. They're constantly adding features. Reasonable priced for all that it does (notes, claims, payments, scheduling, etc.)

Nachteile:

Nothing to dislike. They've been incredibly helpful and have wonderful technical support.

Therapy Notes Review

Kommentare: Therapy Notes has been invaluable to me in helping setting up and running my administrator’s therapy business. We are almost a year in business and we wouldn’t have been able to succeed without Therapy Notes.

Vorteile:

The support staff is amazing. They are always friendly and extremely capable. They are also available 24/7.

Nachteile:

I haven’t found anything I don’t like about Therapy Notes.

Vorteile:

I had already been using it as an agency employee provider, and when I decided to do my own practice where I am the admin and the provider, the customer service assistance I received both for set-up and ongoing admin tasks has made it possible for me to do this without needing to hire an additional person to handle billing, scheduling, etc... I love the Portal support for Outcome Measures as well as for HIPAA compliant document use and registration process.

Nachteile:

It took a minute for some forms to be set up in the Portal, but now everything I need is there!

Superior Customer Service

Kommentare: Exceptional customer service and an easy to use product with helpful features.

Vorteile:

TherapyNotes has fantastic customer service. You may wait a few minutes to talk to a real person, but they are patient and kind and help you with issues (even those that are due to user error). Also, TherapyNotes has made billing insurance and recording payments SUPER EASY. I don't think I would have continued on my own without this support!!!

Nachteile:

I wish that TherapyNotes could bill secondary insurance providers and I would like to see more customization in the templates for notes.

One Stop Shopping~ A great concept!

Kommentare: Several years ago I was providing services for people who had litigation/disability/workers comp. issues and the format and ease to send documents was critical in meeting their needs. As well as CYA as a clinician. (No small concern in this day and age.) Within the first year of my work with TherapyNotes, they were hacked and seriously compromised. It was then that I encountered the outstanding customer service and support. They worked around the clock to resolve the problem. Their customer support has not wavered or even fluctuated. My previous encounters with EHR were through hospitals and agencies (since 2007) and, in comparison, I find Therapy Notes equal and even surpassed other systems .

Vorteile:

The company continues to grow, expand its' services and scope, without losing their outstanding level of customer support. Like many other senior clinicians, we have had to adapt to electronic medical records systems and billing after years of handwritten forms. The conversion has been daunting . When I changed billers last year, the fact that she could administer through TN actually deducted a percentage from her monthly fee. I am in the process of assisting patients in creating portal accounts so that I can use their telehealth platform. I've been with doxy.me for years and am not exactly pleased with their product.

Nachteile:

Notes have to be completed before claims sent. This isn't always practical, although it does help with motivation to stay in front of charting. I wish it was easier for patients, especially elderly ones, for them to use the Telehealth without setting up an account. That in itself is a barrier.

Best product on the market

Kommentare: I have never had a bad experience when I needed to speak to support team about anything. Their patience, time, and expertise is invaluable. Even if I was not sure what to name my situation, they always understood, took their time with me and made me feel like I am important. Love the Therapy Notes. I recommended this EMR to all my friend that are going into Private Practice. Keep it up Therapy Notes. I also chime in once in a while on FB.

Never Use Another EHR

Kommentare: I have only used TherapyNotes and feel spoiled. The ease of note taking, treatment planning, and submitting claims makes running a private practice simple. Their support staff is exceptional in customer services. So kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I never hesitate to call them as I know my concerns will be heard and issues will be resolved. Highly recommend TherapyNotes to any mental health practice.

Vorteile:

The user friendliness of therapy notes and the expectational support team that is always so kind and helpful makes this EHR the best in the business. They think of everything, response with a detailed email about what you talked about in a call, they send step by step screen shots in case your find yourself in need of help again. You never feel "alone" with the customer services staff of therapy notes.

Nachteile:

I really cannot say there is anything I do not like about TherapyNotes. It is a full package. I would rate it 10 out of 10!!!

Good product, good support and good price

Kommentare: I have been very pleased with product overall. Recent "improvements" to Telehealth platform have created connection and sound related issues for clients and myself.

Vorteile:

Well integrated product that is relatively easy to implement and use.

Nachteile:

Some of documentation/charting workflows are rigid and To Do list personalization is limited.

Horrible Company: hidden fees, no customer care, random withholding of my funds that I have worked for

Kommentare: My experiences with therapy notes have been awful. I only hope to prevent others from similar experiences.

Nothing. This company is terrible and very much has a corporate attitude.

Hidden costs, random debits from my intended deposits, no customer care or loyalty at all

The EHR is already fantastic, but it is also continually evolving to be even better. Customer support has always been friendly, professional and helpful.

Nachteile:

I wish I had not waited so long to get connected to Therapy Notes. It has make my practice more efficient and streamlined so many of the tasks that used to be a pain.

Feel like a human

Kommentare: Every time I have ever called, the staff has always been so helpful, never making me feel that because I do not understand that I am less than, but walking me through.. so I can explain to the providers their accounts, helping the providers become successful.

Vorteile:

There are several things I love about Therapy Notes I love the support team, they never shame me as I am working through clients account I love that the system allows me to set different prices, as what is collected on the session for example with a co insurance, that I do not have to go back in and change it

Nachteile:

for me in the billing portion/ I don't have anything that I dislike

Just what I need for my practice

Kommentare: Excellent. They have been very communitive and proactive during the recent cyber-attack that health care providers experienced across the nation the past few months.

Vorteile:

As a new business establishing from the ground up. I have found that therapy notes is very user friendly even for those with mediocre technology knowledge.

Nachteile:

Would like TX plan templates to be a part of the platform.
