Kommentare: This is my and my team's first time planning an event on this scale. From day one, Eventzilla has been so straightforward and easy to use. The way the system functions is so logical that it has been easy to implement and learn. When we've had questions, their support team has been responsive and helped us to learn the platform better and maximize our value. Every time we have come with a feature need, we've discovered that they already have it and are 10 steps ahead of us. I'm really excited for us to host this event because how easy Eventzilla has made it!

Vorteile:

Eventzilla is soooo easy to use, so logical and straightforward, easy to learn, has a great appearance, and is very responsive in helping with customer service. Their platform is also very functional and has had almost no bugs. I'm a big fan!

Nachteile:

We've had almost no problems with Eventzilla. When there has been an issue like a text box not showing up the way we need to, we've been able to bring to to Eventzilla and they've responded quickly and efficiently to solve the problem. I don't have any other feedback for Eventzilla at this time.

Easy set up, intuitive interface Clear records to pull

Nachteile:

A little more admin control for editing registrations would be nice. We have registrants whose tickets are booked by another person, and if that person does not set up the registration correctly, it is a little clunky for directing them to update it (when I can't do it as admin).

Vorteile:

There are so many tools and customizations that are integrated into the platform that allow you to get as detailed as you'd like with your event. The platform is generally intuitive to figure out and super robust in its offerings. The pricing is also more reasonable than other platforms. You get more bang for your buck.

Nachteile:

There is no phone number to call customer support. You have to email them. Sometimes if you're working on something that needs immediate attention, you want to speak with someone on the phone to get it resolved quickly. I found some of the attendee registration clunky and glitchy. I had several attendees that thought they regsitered but somehow their registration didn't go through. I wish the reporting and search functions were better so you could search by some of your form information without having to download a full list of attendees.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and straightforward. It's free.

Nachteile:

Can't copy and paste on text boxes. Hard to find the link for an online event.

Solid Event Platform

Kommentare: Overall, it's a solid platform. A little limited for what we are wanting to do and I wish it had more integrations but it has been very useful for our Masterclasses.

Vorteile:

It syncs fairly well with Zoom but only if you aren't doing a series. If you are doing a series, you have to do them individually and we used Plusthis to connect them. Has some nice features we were missing in another platform such as registration on the spot for more than one, the event hub page, etc.

Nachteile:

The customer support sometimes didn't bother to respond to my emails. There were a lot of small things that we ran into.

Eventzilla is the WAY TO GO for events!

Kommentare: It was super easy to navigate and simple to use, and it gave me an abundance of information regarding my event!!!

Vorteile:

The best thing about eventzilla is how simple and easy it was to edit and look at all of the information regarding the event that I put on! If I needed to edit or change any of my registrations from the event, when people contacted me, I could go in and do that instantly and easily!!! Refunds were a piece of cake as well!!! Literally the smoothest and easiest to use platform when it comes to any sort of event!! I can’t wait to use it again for my next event in October 2025!

Nachteile:

I wish they had an app that was quality built and functional! The issue with the current version of their app is that is honestly unusable in comparison to use in their website. That would just be a quality of life change that I would like to see implemented.

Nachteile:

The reporting feature needs a lot of work, its not as robust as it should be. And there needs to be more customization with registration.

I like that the site is so easy to set up a caveman can do it.

I think they can benefit from adding more staff for customer service.

Free options which can actually be used

Vorteile:

Easy to use, easy to customize. I like the basic options with allow any user to locate easily the venue, allow to set up free conferences without added cost.

Nachteile:

Some customization options aren't free and I feel that the tarification options are not so easy to understand when you don't know how may people will be attending. This can be a problem when you want to convince your administration that it's the right tool for whatever you're doing.

Kommentare: I used to LOVE this system but now it has gone to $#IT. Going elsewhere.

Vorteile:

I really enjoyed the simplicity of the previous system. It was powerful in all the right ways - mass communication with HTML capabilities, order and attendee sorting, third-party merchant services integration, easy to use event page layout designer, etc... All of the above have slowly declined in reliability and there are many glitches in the system now.

Nachteile:

1. Setting ticket sales dates do not work accurately and are off by DAYS. 2. Ticket sales quantities are no longer registering and have caused issues with overselling, thus having to manually refund. 3. Glitches in sold out capacities where new ticket sales show up as "sold out" immediately. 4. Customer service response times used to be a few days, now I don't even get a follow up. Their chats are bots that seem to go to nobody now. 5. The reformatted their system design to be more visual, but it does not sort events at all so if you have more than 20 events in log, they easily get lost in the long scrolling format. 6. Their HTML based mass email form has now started to glitch and ticket buyers receive HTML code instead of what it should look like. 7. Ticket purchasers intermittently do not receive their PDF tickets. 8. Sometimes ticket purchasers get charged twice for one ticket. This used to be competitively priced with strong and reliable features. This no longer serves as an efficient system for ticket sales as it requires A LOT more manual entries and putting out fires due to glitches in the system.

The Good and the Not So Good - Feature Rich and Affordable

Cost - It's cheaper for events then most other solutions, Ticket Pricing - great with coupons and volume discounts, CheckIn - easy with the mobile phone applications, Check Out and Purchase - straight forward and the event pages are pretty good

Nachteile:

We run 30 events or more a year. Our issue is that someone registers or purchases a ticket to an event but can't remember which one. There is no way to search all our event registrations at once, you will need to go into each event and search. This is very frustrating and time consuming. The event page looks great but adding formatted text can be a bit tricky. There were a few events where trying to get the formatting correct was awful and challenging - we just had to go with straight text only approach. When viewing all events there is no option to sort events - alphabetically, dates, etc. it would be great to be able to do this and to sort descending or ascending to find events more quickly. When an order is PENDING (meaning it hasn't been paid for online) the attendee doesn't show up in the attendees report until the order for the registration is PAID. We would prefer to have the attendee list contain a column that indicates if the ticket is paid for or not. That way the mobile registration app could alert us more quickly about payment status.

Simple set up

Vorteile:

I like that our free events do not cost us anything to register our attendess. Multiple currencies for our paid events are definitely a benefit to our global business. Customer service - always quick to reply

Nachteile:

I would like to drag and drop the order of my sponsors instead of having to re-input them to reflect their order of importance.

Too Many Glitches and Poor Customer Service

I like that this program is somewhat easy to use. There are a lot of features. I especially like that you can clone an event rather than re-writing the entire thing for repeat eevnts

Nachteile:

too many glitches. sometimes, I'm not able to type in the boxes and need to sign out in order for me to re-start. Sometimes, I'm not able to publish my drafts, or they publish and then unpublish themselves. My account has been suspended. Granted, they fixed it but they ignored my multiple emails asking why my account was suspended in the first place. I pay for this program and do not appreciate that you cannot get in contact with customer service on the phone.

Easy to use for different types of events

Kommentare: We have a midday event for moms and their children at our church. I needed a method to know who was coming each time so that I could plan appropriately for childcare. Eventzilla made this a simple process for me to set up and for our moms to use.

Vorteile:

I liked being able to personalize my use of Eventzilla for different types of events. I work in church ministry and have used this for ticket sales and just simple registrations. It helped me tremendously to be able to build my own registration forms with specific questions based on the needs of the event.

Nachteile:

It took me a little while to learn how to effectively use the waiting list feature with my sales and registrations. I would have a limited number of spots and needed an easy way for a customer to cancel their ticket and the next person on the waiting list to be notified.

Best entry-level ticket sales/reg platform online

Kommentare: We needed an online system to take hundreds of solo,duet, trio dance registrations for a video dance contest as well as to process ticket sales for the live event. We needed it to have low fees (or zero) as well as the ability to pass on fees to the customer. Eventzilla did all of this easily! From customizing the registration forms to processing refunds and exporting reports - it was a breeze!

Vorteile:

Everything! Very user friendly interface, all of the basic features anyone would need and the price is right!

Nachteile:

It would have been nice to be able to completely customize the ticket/reg main page a bit more.

A better product than most, but still not complete

Kommentare: This is mostly positive. I wish there was a way to integrate zoom instead of paying extra to use their streaming services. That's not helpful.

Vorteile:

It's easy to make free, paid and donation tickets, to add sponsors and speakers to an event. I like the options to be able to pass on the fees to the buyer.

Nachteile:

When you're scheduling an email to attendees, you can't pick the time of day. It's also difficult to upload a banner image that fits for the event. I've never been able to do it without wasting a large amount of time resizing again and again.

Love Eventzilla--easy to use and we use it weekly to keep track of registration for events

Kommentare: I can send out weekly class events with this product and it tracks registration, confirmation, and final head count for the class.

Vorteile:

It tracks the number of people who register for our classes we offer. We love the ability to "Clone" repeated events so we don't have to type in repeated information.

Nachteile:

Any event that requires online payment was a little difficult to set up because it goes through a third party site.

Ups and Downs.

Kommentare: We have used Eventzilla for 3 years to run an event, we have been able to take a selection of data, adapt and run the registration process and keep up to date with managing payments and our attendees. For 2 years it was a superb system, we had no problems it all ran incredibly smoothly. This year however approximately a third of our orders, did not receive their tickets, we had to talk to a huge number of people and assure them they had tickets for the event. Their email addresses given were correct, and the emails hadn't been caught by a Spam filter. Technical glitches occur, it's understandable, we contacted Eventzilla and informed them of our problem, and were dealt with in the most infuriating and asinine way possible. We were informed that it was our fault attendees weren't receiving emails and they were being sent to the order email address, we explained we understood this, and that the emails weren't being delivered there, we supplied evidence of the orders who had failed to receive contact, and were told that the Eventzilla system showed them having been delivered. There was no suggestion of where these emails were going to, no interest in trying to help us resolve this issue, no acknowledgement of any fault on behalf of Eventzilla, the stark comparison between faultless service 2 years previously and nothing but problems this year was extremely apparent. We will not be using again.

Kommentare: This software is excellent for our purpose. Easy to edit, delete, clone, do attendance. The mobile app is excellent. I have had no changes that I could not figure out. It is very user friendly!

It is so easy to modify and add to! When I have to delete and re-enter due to a typo, it is very simple to edit. Very user-friendly! Love the mobile app. It is so handy when doing attendance. I really like all of it.

Kommentare: Excellent system, we have used for about 4 years.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, fast response time, immediate posting, easy to clone events and copy events, edit events and use to register for our members.

Nachteile:

I dislike sometimes that the system is down during the week. I understand sometimes maintenance has to be done, just wish it would be done in the evenings, or on the weekends.
