Vorteile:

Die Syntax der Befehle ist klar strukturiert und man findet sich schnell zu Recht. Funktioniert einfach unkompliziert, so wie es soll.

Nachteile:

Die Backup-Möglichkeiten sind nicht optimal.

Mysql

Vorteile:

Die Einfach gestaltene Installation, welche sehr schnell ist und die Simple Bedienung im Terminal

Nachteile:

Die nicht ausgereifte Gui, ebenfalls die nicht ausreichenden Artikel zur Installation unter MacOS und die Mangelhafte Ausgabe an Fehler codes

The simple way to manage data

Vorteile:

In first time it's open source and it capacity of large amount of data management

Nachteile:

Cluster creation is not simple to manage

My opinion on MySQL

Kommentare: I've been using MySQL to manage small servers for tests and final products and I have nothing much to complain about, it really does what needs to be done and is really secure and fast.

Vorteile:

The management of data is easy, fast and smooth with MySQL, the permissions system is well secure, it's flexible and the search/filter feature really helps a lot.

Nachteile:

Since it's considered like a light software, the management for big databases is really slow.

My Experience With MySQL

Kommentare: I have been using MySQL since 2005. At the beginning of using it, I didn't create a backup and lost one of my websites. Until I purchased a back-up service, I did back-ups myself and it was very time consuming because of my website size. Now, with a back-up service my database is always safe. MySQL is a very sturdy platform as it has always been a great foundation for my websites over the years.

Vorteile:

The MySQL interactive program makes it easy for anyone to create a simple database that connects with it. I have created many such databases over the years without problems. It usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Nachteile:

If a MySQL database is hacked or there is a bug, it cannot be repaired or replaced in most cases without a backup. Backups must be done on a regular basis. There is usually a cost for back-ups.

Kommentare: After I realised that there was a bug, I contacted my friends in Uganda and requested them to run their scripts via SQL Server or ORACLE.. MySQL did have a bug though. I think it has been fixed. Ugandan websites are no longer crashing.

MySql seems to work for many websites. I think it is good for people who can't afford

Nachteile:

Some years ago, online websites in Uganda were timing out. I found later that they were using MySQL. **I thought there was a bug**

MySQL since university

Kommentare: started using MySQL at university and in every project that I create nowadays I use it because it's simple to integrate and I feel like on every language that I have worked it is easy to use it

Vorteile:

The SQL service of MySQL it's Great beside that was the first SQL management language that I learned at university.

Nachteile:

Some university instructors didn't not want us to use it in our projects where telling us to use SQL Server.

MySQL- dependable for your smaller database and data extraction needs

Vorteile:

If you have even a small amount of experience with SQL, you will find MySQL easy to use. We can easily create a database, tables and queries on the fly for any of our data needs.

Nachteile:

Best suited for smaller databases, not large datasets.

10 Years of MySQL

Nachteile:

MySQL lacks some advanced performance optimization features found in other database management systems. This limitation may require additional effort to optimize complex queries manually.

Great firewall an VPN features

Kommentare: So far it's doing and running better then most

Vorteile:

That it has a strong firewall keeps safe with VPN and alerts fast to help and prevents loss

Nachteile:

Nothing is perfect. But this is darn close

Love MySQL's query style but too slow when compare with MongoDB

Vorteile:

I like normalization on MySQL and also love query style.

Nachteile:

I don't like slow. If I compare with MySQL and MongoDB, MongoDB is so fast.

I found this program gives me the ability to incorporate a true relational database which is similar to Oracle.

Nachteile:

It's not the actual Oracle product. I understand that when using it.

Akshi's Review On MySQL

Kommentare: My overall experience with MySQL is great. It helps me in my day to day work and the best thing is that it is easy to use and can handle large amount of data easily.

Vorteile:

The thing which I liked most about MySQL is that MySQL databases are relational and the data is stored in different tables instead of storing all at one place. It is an open source software and fast, reliable, secure and easy to use. It can handle large database easily and the performance is great.

Nachteile:

The cost and pricing plan to use MySQL is very high. It has 3 different plans starting from $2140 per year which I think is expensive.

Simple yet powerful

Vorteile:

Very simple to get started with and take advantage of a broad set of features. Low learning curve to master it. In depth documentation with a large community support. Plethora of robust tools to support it, like the MySQL Workbench.

Nachteile:

There are some not so intuitive functionalities that you have to look up the documentation to understand and work around. One of them is killing a query in process. Also, the profiler tool is not as powerful as some of the competitor DBMS.

Best RDBMS tool.

Kommentare: It is a useful relational database for storing data.
I always use it with the projects that I create.
As I have seen it as the simplest and easiest among other databases.

Vorteile:

A light program on the computer. It features a beautiful control interface that makes it easy to use in creating databases, tables, relationships between them, or other services. It is characterized by taking a backup copy and restoring it smoothly.

Nachteile:

When I am writing queries I found that some are different from the other and I have to search on the Internet to make them work. Sometimes the large amount of data slows down the insertion, updating and selection process.

SQL Review

Vorteile:

SQL is one of the best programs that deal with relational databases, that is, those that are based on relationships between tables. It also provides many advantages for data, including high protection, privacy, and integrity.

Nachteile:

One of its disadvantages is that it is difficult for beginners to deal with, due to the large number of tools and commands in it

Vorteile:

We have being using MySQL for a number of years now and are very happy wih it. We found the training courses extremely useful and the support options are very helpful also

Nachteile:

We have had nothing but positive experiences to date with MySQL

Kommentare: MySQL can serve almost all users thanks to the multi-platform it supports. It has an easy and simple interface design. It provides an easy and efficient working environment thanks to its relational database feature. resource consumption is close to minimum considering the results it provides. free versions are also at a level that can meet almost all demands.

Vorteile:

Compared to its competitors on the market, its free versions, multi-platform support and a powerful engine make it one step ahead of many software. It is ideal for integrating with other software in a much wider framework and communicating with data much faster, especially outside of patterns. Although it has minimum resource consumption, it offers maximum performance. A limited number of rows can process data without locking and deliver results quickly. In the paid versions, you can make transactions at the corporate level or commercially.

Nachteile:

You should plan your preferences and needs well. If you cannot communicate well the session software and database software you will use, this may cause you problems. You should read the release notes well and activate the latest software.

Standard for high performance RDBMS, if the GPL community version works for your org

Vorteile:

Strong RDBMS, extremely high performance for the right use case: myiasm.

Nachteile:

If your usecase favours ACID compliance, Innodb still has the same performance quirks it always has. There are alternative solutions for ACID compliant workloads with easier licenses.

MySQL: the cost-efficient RDBMS from Oracle

Vorteile:

MySQL was initially an open source RDBMS till it was acquired by Oracle corporation. MySQL was integrated with a very versatile web interface PHPMyAdmin which provided a full-fledged database client that allows administrators to manage the creation of database entities including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, users, .... MySQL supports the various SQL 92 constructs including DDL, DML, and DCL SQL statements. It is not supported with advanced Undo/Redo Logging algorithms as in the case of Oracle database, but still can support advanced SQL queries with decent optimization mechanisms.

Nachteile:

PHPMyAdmin suffered from performance lagging and bottlenecks specifically when inserting database rows. The lagging is mainly from the Web GUI since the actual SQL insertion mechanism is effectuated in the database but not refreshed in the PHPMyAdmin GUI. The latest database engine supported by PHPMyAdmin is MariaDB which suffered the same performance lagging issue. Customer support wasn't successful in figuring out the source of this bug. This is mainly experienced on Windows installations. MySQL is not open source anymore which makes MariaDB (the open source alternative) a much cost efficient choice.

My first love in SQL management system

Vorteile:

Best to work on in terminal, it's cool to use it. Also comes with a workbench that makes it easy to operate in many conditions.

Nachteile:

There are many alternatives available in the market, there is no innovation in recent future.

MySQL is easy to install and set up, widely supported by various operating systems, programming languages, and platformsone of the best features is that MySQL provides strong security features by using user authentication to access and login plus encrypted data connections

Nachteile:

MySQL may not have all the advanced features , need to develop analytics and reporting features

All the features that I might need were already covered so I have nothing to complain about.
