Kommentare: I felt that the hype did not equal the results. We have started with Sage in 2013. We just migrated to the newest version. We have yet to just work in Sage without technical support or our third party having to make constant adjustments.
Vorteile: There are so many aspects to this software that I love. It typically works well with our EDI software, however we continuously find areas that are broken. We have the ability to customize specific functionalities due to the ERP not fitting our needs exactly.
Nachteile: My company went through a re-seller originally. Then we worked with Sage directly. It was a pain to request support. Also their HELP index doesnt always help. It will tell you what a possible error means but gives no direction to where to find this error or how to fix it. This means going back to support. We now work with a third party who assists us with the newer version of Sage. Sadly my confidence in their knowledge to fix tables and understand our business needs is lacking. I feel Sage is super complex and doesn't offer quick yet necessary training. I have attempted to use their HELP link and it does not provide help. It will go just beyond telling you what you already know. One other thing I do not care for is how far you have to tunnel to find data. Finding information like inventory quantities and arrival dates can take several steps from the order process. As a CRM there isn't always a lot of time to dig around for this information. This data should be readily available from the Item Lines tab.

Sage ERP review
Kommentare: Overall a lot more value for money ERP system for Small/Medium sized businesses who need one platform to do a full-cycle service of the business operational needs. Also Sage business partners are very helpful to keep you abreast with product training and product updates where necessary.
Vorteile: Sage ERP is great for small medium sized businesses whose business demands a platform that can accommodate the growth of the business at various levels. You can start with the basic GL for your accounting entries and add already pre-purpose built features like Purchase Orders, Payroll and Point Of Sale to name a few.
Nachteile: The least thing I do not like is the day-end processing if average cost is used. The costing to determine your wins and losses on the inventory was done at the end of the day if you use average cost. So in having a lot of SKUs like over 10,000 types that can be possibly sold in a day at different units of measure and having a large number of transactions of around 1,000 invoices with over 50,000 detail line items sold can make the day-end run a lot slower than expected.

Just didn't have enough
Kommentare: A really good understanding of what requirements an ERP should have.
Vorteile: The user interface, honestly, wasn't too bad. It had everything in practical spots and was easy to use. The import/export features were really impressive. It really made transferring ERP's very simple. It even had simple cost breakdowns for labor and materials at any step in the build process.
Nachteile: In the medical industry, this ERP really didn't meet most of the requirements we needed. It could not perform directed picking (tell the picker where to pull parts from), directed put-away (where to put received components in inventory), label print capabilities, or barcode scanning (without a third party add-on which charged separate fees),

Excellent product but needs a little tweaking.
Kommentare: Ease of use integrating into our accounting system.
Vorteile: I have been entering payroll into our general ledger for almost 20 years. With sage 100 it couldn't be any easier.
Nachteile: When entering items under Purchase Order>Receipt of Invoice Entry it does not keep track of total amount purchased. This means you have no way of knowing when you reach the set limit amount and if you have already keyed in invoices under that PO # it will not let you increase the amount.

Sage 1000 Implementation and Upgrade
Kommentare: The Sage 1000 ERP system is quite easy to install and configure, especially if you do an upgrade from an existing system like L500. The installation takes care of all upgrades and conversions seamlessly. What a pleasure to work with.
Vorteile: Reliable modules that the user can trust. Drill-down from GL to the sub-modules is provided as standard in the package.
Nachteile: Reports can't be easily exported to Excel

Features and functionality are very useful.
Kommentare: The broad range of things this software can do to organize accounting data is its biggest benefit.
Vorteile: The features and functionality is what I like most about this software. It is very helpful when trying export data to manage in excel.
Nachteile: It is not a software that can just be picked up easily, it takes time to get yourself familiarized with it.

The software is easy to use. The AR and AP functions are very user friendly.
Kommentare: Ease of use, works perfectly for accounting, ar, ap.
Vorteile: It is a user friendly software. The reports are easy to use and understand. The software overall is satisfactory for what we use it for.
Nachteile: The only problem that has been encountered with the software is some reports cannot be recreated after they have been posted.

Kommentare: My experience with sage started as a fresh accounting graduate with no knowledge of using an ERP., but with Sage, it was very easy and simple. What I love most about Sage is the multi-feature dynamics from payment to payroll. The business intelligence is simply the best!
Vorteile: The business intelligence feature gives you report like magic!
Nachteile: Customers service is not so fantastic.

Sage 100 ERP
Vorteile: It gets the job done for accounting. Putting in time and billing into this software is a little rough but it does fulfill it purpose.
Nachteile: It looks very dated and not the most user friendly. There are plenty of other software out there that do the same but a lot better.

It is extremely comprehensive but its not very user friendly and the customer support is terrible
Kommentare: Job costing and organization along with comprehensive reporting.
Vorteile: I like the functionality of being able to setup phases, commitments, jobs, extras etc custom along with the integration to our PM software and estimating. Very comprehensive and the reporting is also great and can be customized.
Nachteile: Customer Support. Very often they only direct you to an article about what you have a question about and don't actually help walk you through a problem.

Vorteile: It is easy to use and integrates easily with any other SQL database. Go with SQL version and not Providex.
Nachteile: We are on the providex version right now and deadlock errors occur frequently when trying to pull data into SQL.

Very Simple software
Vorteile: It is easy to use and to figure things out. You can create customized reports for anything you need.
Nachteile: Customizing the reports can be very difficult. You also have to pay per module that you want to utilize.

Invoicing to clients, maintaining stock
Kommentare: the benefit to send invoices and get the company contability ready to start in a "ready to use" software, only buy and work
Vorteile: Is a full featured software, great documentation, almost easy to use, great support and customer help.
Nachteile: only for Windows, some things few complicated to customize, some features complicated to integrate with other platforms

Newly moved to campany in existing use
Kommentare: Makes it easy to locate a variety of key metrics.
Vorteile: This program allows for tracking of many of a companies key metrics. From item maintenance to sales orders and everything in between.
Nachteile: This program allows for some degree of personalization, which in and of itself is awesome, but can make it difficult coming in after someone else has tweaked it to their likes. Would like to see additional field availability to track additionals

Simple ERP System
Vorteile: The system is simple to us and very user friendly. I use it to create POs and manage budgets on a daily basis.
Nachteile: The system does not produce that great of reports. It is hard to export reports into Excel with a nice format.

I always use it for bookkeeping/accounting/financial reporting. It's easy to use once you are shown
Vorteile: Once you know how to use the basics, you can pretty much navigate to dive deeper into doing what you want it to do.
Nachteile: I don't know it too much to say what I like least about the software. It does what our business needs it to do.

One of the best ERP for small medium industry
Kommentare: The collaboration of all the departments to manage the enterprising resources have been made easy.
Vorteile: The most important feature I like of this tool about its ease of use and collaborating all the departments on a single platform like HR, accounts and finance and project teams. Also, the pricing of this tool is very competent.
Nachteile: Sometimes reports are not converted to MS-Excel very smoothly.

Sage is a good way to keep track of purchases and expenditures.
Kommentare: Good record keeping and easy, efficient use.
Vorteile: The software is relatively easy to learn and use. There is a lot of room for many details and is good for record keeping.
Nachteile: I haven't ever dealt with customer service but some areas could use more room for purchase details as well as an easier way to search for purchase orders.

Customer support almost non-existent. Crashes Constantly.
Kommentare: We can track inventory, serialize inventory, create POs, and manage sales.
Vorteile: When it works, it can handle POs, SOs, serialized inventory, reporting, and most things you'd want. The problem is, it rarely does.
Nachteile: Constant crashes, freezes, time spent waiting on hold with customer service. We run it on network, no cloud option that we're aware of. Running on Windows10. It doesn't seem like they de-bug it effectively before updating. Every. Single. Update. causes crashes and delays. Our tech support officer spent--no joke--two full days on hold the last time it updated.

Room for improvement, but overall a good program.
Vorteile: This program definitely goes into great detail for making and keeping track of purchase orders. Once it's set up it becomes fairly easy to use.
Nachteile: Although it does go into great detail, there a few things they could still add or existing things that could be made to be easier to use. I've never had to deal with customer service.
