Yammer allows people with similar interests and/or work groups to interact in a business-friendly environment. It's fairly easy to use and integrated with Microsoft 365.
Sometimes the layers of communication are confusing. Don't know if this is meant to replace another product we use or what the intent of Yammer is but we use for internal company communications.

Gute Plattform um Neuigkeiten innerhalb einer Organisation zu teilen.
Vorteile:
Internationaler Zugriff und somit alle Bereiche und Standorte mit einbeziehen.
Nachteile:
Teilweise wirkt die Seite etwas überladen.
Gutes Tool für übergreifende Unternehmenskommunikation
Kommentare: Verschiedene Gruppen, einfache Bedienung und viele Möglichkeiten Informationen (formelle wie informelle) in Umlauf zu bekommen. Das Tool wird von vielen Kollegen rege genutzt. Neben privaten Gruppen findet auch viel fachlicher Austausch statt, was super ist.
Vorteile:
Leicht verständliches Tool, dass alles Funktionen eines Kommunikationstools abdeckt, die man im Unternehmen benötigt.
Nachteile:
Jedes "freie" Kommunikationstool birgt wohl die Gefahr, dass öffentlich "gejammert" wird und sich eine gewisse Eigendynamik entwickelt.
Austausch Software während des Studiums
Vorteile:
Austausch Funktionen von Dateien, sowie das möglichen Kommentiere und die Chat Funktion
Nachteile:
Es updatet manchmal nicht so schnell den Inhalt der Beiträge und zeigt manchmal einen alten Stand an, dass kommt aber selten vor.
Meine Kommunikation mit Yammer
Kommentare: Die Möglichkeiten der Kommunikation, um die Arbeiten verschiedener Nutzer optimal aufeinander aufzubauen hat mich von Yammer überzeugt

Would totally recommend Viva engage!!
Kommentare: Overall I love Viva Engage. It kind of reminds you of a Facebook but for work space. You can make different community's to join and can share information all in one place. It also makes it a central hub for communications with co workers.

What I like most about Viva Engage is that it is a space where you and your co workers are able to engage in anything you want to create. It essentially is one place where you can communicate.
Nachteile:
My least favorite thing about Viva Engage is sometimes while trying to find posts could be confusing if you don't have the feed when things are posted at first.

Kommentare: Exemplary performance and very user friendly.
Vorteile:
Firstly, this tool is not limited to sizes of participants. I have executed major projects through team work especially because it has a clear communication channel. There is constant updates from the help desk which is great.
Nachteile:
I was able to overcome the few glitches which I encountered during preliminary stages. They included; difficulty in integration and customization was not so easy for me.
Important for social engagement across multiple disciplines!
Kommentare: I think that this tool can be used effectively if people are properly trained on how to use it. We have some teams that use Microsoft Viva Engage a lot, and we have others that have never heard of it. Encouraging using the tool is essential, and training your team on how to use the interface would be important.
Vorteile:
It is good to stay informed about company updates. I like that we receive email updates directly about new information or posts.
Nachteile:
Since there are so many people updating the tool across a large organization, not everyone uses the tool. Some of the social engagement is not relevant to every team. It is also not very intuitive to use. The use interface is not very simple to use.
Huge Fan of Viva Engage! Its your office Facebook

I am such a fan of Viva Engage! When I first started at my new company, coming with an extensive background in social media this really excited me. I love to keep in touch with people and to share great moments and highlights. Viva Engage is very similar to Facebook. You can like, comment and share pictures, videos and even follow other member of your company. With a company the size of over 300 people. Viva Engage keeps everyone a click away from engaging with a co-worker/friend from across the room to across the country!
Nachteile:
I really don't have any cons for Viva Engage. It is user friendly, and I like how it notifies you when someone comments or likes your post. It even sends daily updates of what's going on in the community, but you can silence it if you don't want the alert.

Easy to use and can create my story. Light app.
Nachteile:
Searching for an old story or writeup is sometimes difficult. Also I want to keep them tagged at one place for later review.

very Excited experiance with Yammer

This Tool has helped me Reducing the number of emails and also reduce the number of meetings because we can all collaborate in meetings.
Nachteile:
All content between groups is lost, making it difficult to remember who posted something and where.
Yammer: A Professional Community Platform
Kommentare: I enjoy Yammer as a company platform because it allows for the creation of various interest groups and promotes social networking for our office.
Vorteile:
Yammer is easily integrated with our company's Microsoft Teams platform.Yammer allows you to tag registered users, allowing alerts/notifications to be sent to a user when that user is referenced.Yammer allows you to upload photos and other files to include with your post.
Nachteile:
Yammer is a basic platform and its functions are limited to posting.
Corporate Facebook!
Vorteile:
It's very akin to major social media platforms, encouraging people to share and engage.It's a central place to house and share documents too so truly a double edged sword.
Nachteile:
The search function does not always pull up information in a chronological order. Can be frustrating when you are looking for a specific recent post and don't want to scroll through everything.
Good communication tool
Kommentare: Good all round communication platform, reliable system

Easy to use has options of polls, asking questions and simple communication activities adding gifs and photos.
Nachteile:
It’s a little outdated to be fair and lacks some functionality with inserting videos etc. it’s ok but is basic in places fir engagement of colleagues
How Yammer helps one to connect in the company community
Kommentare: I first saw Yammer in my work email, click it and then browse. First thing I can say is that, is this like Facebook? But when I progress browsing further, I said it is different in a good way. I can see updates from my colleagues abroad, first time seeing their faces as well. From then on, I open Yammer every day to see their updates and other company news.
Vorteile:
It's like Facebook, we can post, we comment, and we can interact not only with colleagues in our country but in other countries as well. We get to see their country updates and news. We get to congratulate everyone on their achievements well. Good thing also is the creation of community, it's like a group we can create then we can share anything on this group.
Nachteile:
So far, none. Everything's good. Easy and convenient to use. No problems encountered to date.
Yammer was a game changer
Kommentare: We were able to communicate key changes in the business that my team implemented that weren’t able to be emailed to all employees, but subscribers to our updates were able to see our improvements implemented each time we made a yammer announcement
Vorteile:
Ability to create spaces and groups / teams for employee engagement was a game changer for my team. Because my team was so large and spanned over several countries and time zones, yammer improved employee engagement in the work place with the annual staff survey results showing an improvement in staff engagement with yammer being one of the key contributors mentioned by employees
Nachteile:
Nothing specifically about yammer, we were kind of pushed by higher management to use yammer and our performance is rated on how effectively we use yammer in the work place
Just never gained traction

Hi product is great for building internal teams and internal communication.
Nachteile:
hard to gain traction in the organisation when conflicting priorities and new products coming out such as Microsoft Teams.

Yammer was so easy and a convenient app and space for all employees to interact about upcoming promotions, shift coverage, and available shifts to work. It was so quick and so helpful!
Nachteile:
Employees complained about the storage space it took up, but that really is not a huge deal.
