I've been with Easy Storage 4 years

Kommentare: I’ve been with Easy Storage Solutions for over 4 years and just recently started a new facility. Hard to put in words, excellent prices for their service. I just talked to their biggest competitor and he said they are coming out with a new product, just to compete with Easy Storage, he brought it up. I also read a magazine article (The National Storage association magazine Feb 2019) that talked about Easy Storage as an expert in artificial intelligence related to storage units. Easy Storage is has been in the industry for 10 years now and they now have over 3000 clients and all the bells and whistles you could want. There is a management accounting company in house(optional) that does your payroll, payroll returns, tax forms, w-2’s, bank reconciliation, billing, bill paying, internal theft analyzation , everything. (Price is customized to your needs)
Just think, you can have independent management of you manager and cheaper than you can do it in house. The best part is their service, you never wait to talk to someone and they call you in their spare time looking for something you need help with. Each time they called me, I solved something that was bugging me.

Vorteile:

Easy set up and availability to customer service. Small company in relation to others, but large enough to have lots of bells and whistles. When I call I can talk to the owner, or the start up person that did the Accounting service, (Ty), or the one in charge of website optimization, these are all owners of their individual part of the company, but all reside within the company. The last two were employees, but were encouraged to branch off and own their own part.

Nachteile:

Don't have any. Small always has some drawbacks, but I like how they treat their employees and am willing to wait for some updates.

Great Customer Service/

Kommentare: 5 Star Service and website catches your weye.
Customers comment how east it is to rent online.

Vorteile:

Great customer service. Easy to use. Freindly and well versed agents. Call back when they are busy. Always Polite.

Nachteile:

Nothing. Keep up the fine work. Send helpful updates. Easy to navigate and add or delete pages.

Beware!! Beware!!

Jim's Plank Road Storage review

Kommentare: Everyone is helpful and friendly and if they don't have the answer my question, they will send me to someone who can.

Vorteile:

Pretty much everything. They do my billing for me and I record the payments. The customer service prople are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good about their support people!

Nachteile:

I don't understand so much and I don't have the time to learn everything. I'm not sure where to start, but this is not a con against them. That's on me.

Great Experience!

Kommentare: Overall we have had a great experience from getting things set up to now while we are maintaining and actively using the platform.

Vorteile:

It was super easy to get started with Easy Storage Solutions and their customer service is always super responsive and helpful.

Nachteile:

Nothing negative to comment on, our experience with Easy Storage has been great.

Easy but needs more

Kommentare: Good experience but needs more flexibility in setting fees for specific events

Vorteile:

Ease of use with online and phone. If you have internet it works well.

Nachteile:

Unit setup and implementation of fees.

Browns Self Storage

Kommentare: We have always had friendly fast service when we needed anything. The system works very well to manage our small facility. System was easy and fast to learn. It can do many more things than I use.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up and use. Help with problems and set was quick and efficent.

Nachteile:

Not a Canadian company. No choice of payment card system. It would be nice if Easy Storage would interface with SAGE Accounting sytem.

Great accounting program

Kommentare: It saves me so much time and does most of the accounting automatically.

Vorteile:

I have found the system easy to use and they have a fantastic support team.

Nachteile:

Customers receive some email notifications that I was not aware of. I would like to be cc: on all customer emails.

Great storage program

Kommentare: Overall it has been a great experience would highly recommend for all your storage needs.

Vorteile:

program is easy to use, Renting and moving out customers is quick and painless. the ability to edit map and units is super useful for us as we have two businesses we run and outside storage space changes with season.

Nachteile:

the inability to delete or combine unused or accidentally duplicated customers etc.

Storage software

Kommentare: Had no problems. Can talk to support, and they handle your problem.

Vorteile:

Easy to use. Many reports to choose from.

Nachteile:

Deposit reports off by cents, and very annoywhen doing bank rec.

quality storage tracking software

Kommentare: My self storage income has increased. I have increased my customer base and increased my income. The customers that don't pay are discovered quickly (I always have a few, but it is amazing how many pay and pay on time. Month to month, my income is relatively stable.

Vorteile:

I struggled with tracking my storage facility until I found easy storage. Once I purchased the software and was up and running, life became easier and more profitable. My customers like it (most of them). They can monitor their account and pay online. I still receive cash payments (very few) and checks. By far most payments are online. My goal is to make every unit pay every month. I think that I'm currently doing that.

Nachteile:

I think the only thing that I can think of is the daily charge. I don't dispute the charges, but the accounting is a little confusing. other than that, the software is top notch.

Easy to use and operate

Kommentare: For the most part I am satisfied other than refund processing.

Vorteile:

I like that I can make changes to my website, pricing, templates, billing, contracts, gates and storage layout pretty much all on my own; yet if I have any issues with figuring something out customer support is great at helping navigate any issue quickly.

Nachteile:

There do seem to be server error issues somewhat often. Not sure what is going on there.The new refund process of having to go back and and delete the last invoice it went to creates havoc with my bookkeeper, the whole process is inefficient and convoluted so we have decided to circumvent processing refunds through ESS any longer

Great For My Business

Kommentare: Gets the job done for what I have and need at this time.

Vorteile:

Simple for my customer base to sign up, pay and maintain access to their account.

Nachteile:

I do not like that I am forced to use their credit card company. I should have options or they should be more competitive on their prices if they are forcing you to use them. Not sure if it's me as the user but the way you have to go back to the beginning when you do anything and start from the reports page.

Must have asset to our business

Kommentare: Over all the system works really well. It's obvious that a lot of thought was put into this product. Customer support is very attentive and usually has the answers that we need.

Vorteile:

Manage from anywhere, easy for admin to use, easy for clients to use.

Nachteile:

A few features could use some refining. IE: email our text the client within the software without being limited to the templates.Ability to refund client deposits without having to "void" the original deposit invoice.Ability to block a client from future rentals (due to bad payment history).

No background in storage management

Kommentare: Enjoyable. Customer service is always helpful and understanding and willing to walk through an issue with me and also guide me to where I might be able to find a resource on the issue if I need to access it later.

Vorteile:

I came into my role with zero experience with ESS or background in Self Storage and was able to successfully complete a launch of our site with the ESS team and manage our rentals online. It has a been very user friendly.

Nachteile:

Sometimes if I am in the middle of a task and then get a call and have to get out of my screen, at times I can forget what I was doing and may not complete a task. I'm not sure if there is a feature that I am not utilizing or not, but it can be frustrating at times.

Would Definitely Recommend

Vorteile:

I have been using Easy Storage for almost 7 years now and it has not disappointed. I love the fact that it is online and I access from anyone of our storage locations. And the fact that customers can rent, pay for units, etc. on their own has been very helpful.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to set up past due timelines for individual customers so that if I do not want to put certain customer in Prelien status after 60 days, the system will not automatically place them in that status.

Pigeon Road Storage Review

Kommentare: I love knowing the recurring billing is all taken care of. I also like that the interface for renters is easy to use.

Vorteile:

Product was easy to use from the start. Very intuitive interface. Customer service is friendly.

Nachteile:

Have to wait on hold for customer service. Adding new units to the map is clunky.

Great place to store

Cost money which I don't have a lot of to begin with

Amazing customer support and easy software

Kommentare: Wonderful customer Service. Have recommended to several other storage unit operators.

Vorteile:

Easy set up. Intuitive. I like the map function and easy of setting everything to automate. Works wonderful with Gate Control.

Nachteile:

I wish I could set a client to move out in the future without revoking gate access today.

Quality product but a little expensive compared to competitors

Kommentare: Have been using Storage Solutions for about 18 months with very little problems but it does have the occasional hiccups like most software.

Vorteile:

The software is fully featured and ease of use would be hard to match.

Nachteile:

The monthly price is a little high compared to its competitors.

Peak Storage - Rockford Review

Kommentare: It's been really good overall. Will continue to use it. Also the customer service is amazing.

Vorteile:

It's super easy to use and it makes my job alot easier. Definitely one of the better PMS systems out there!

Nachteile:

I wish they had a better task management system. The current one is not user friendly at all.

Best Software for Small and Large Facilities Alike! Used at ALL our Facilities!

Vorteile:

Easy Storage Solutions is truly EASY, which is why we've converted every facility from the $12 million facility to the $250,000 facility to ESS and all employees can use and understand it's features, as well as the tenants.

Nachteile:

Since it's been purchased by Storable.... the terrible turn of customer service.
