Great Data Depth, many 'dials' to refine a search, AI tool and fair price point

Very Useful Platform

Kommentare: Overall, I am always happy to login to Inven every day. I can tailor my searches to find exactly what I need and any questions I may have or issues that may arise are quickly answered and resolved.

Vorteile:

I'd have to start with customer service being one of the things I like most about Inven. I have gotten same-day responses for all of my inquires, they're always friendly and always willing to receive feedback and put it towards making the platform better for all users. Secondly - It's extremely user friendly and the latest update has tightened up search results even more, saving me even more time when combing through results.

Nachteile:

Personally, I have nothing bad to say about the platform. I have only been using it for a couple months and have had only good experiences.

Powerful, improvements still needed

Kommentare: This has been an excellent addition and so far outperforms other tools. It needs to better facilitate refining a search to get a higher hit rate than 50-60%, otherwise there's too much manual work in cleansing the list before use.

Vorteile:

The use of unstructured search terms, example companies, and *negative* search terms helps make this tool much better than using pre-assigned industry categories or NAICS codes

Nachteile:

I may need additional user training, but I still have trouble getting a list with <40% unqualified companies mixed in with my intended targets.

Inven is must for M&A advisory firms

Vorteile:

I've had a great experience with Inven. Its easy-to-use interface and comprehensive features make it an ideal platform for investment banking firms. I've tried many platforms, and I can say Inven surpasses them all. The deal and search features stand out. The keyword search functionality saves me so much time.

Nachteile:

The platform is strong as is, integrating accurate revenue data would take it to next level, making it the best in its class.

Excellent for sourcing M&A targets

Vorteile:

The AI feature is fantastic and the data is very much on point nowadays.

Nachteile:

The data has improved over time a lot and it is up to the standards of any competitor now. Would not change it to anything.

Best all around tool I have used in years

Vorteile:

Searching and screening is outstanding. I do like the way it downloads data and saves companies to lists

Nachteile:

Dowloading specific contacts is unwieldy

Great tool to get an initial view on the target universe

It saves a lot of time with target research - good tool to start with

Nachteile:

The database is still in its infancy and requires more data maintenance - some companies are poorly categorized or not categorized at all (only name without description etc.)

Good business database with filter features

Ability to refine searches and edit by criteria

Nachteile:

Certain industries are difficult to find (such as e-commerce) although the same with most data bases

Kommentare: Great overall tool for market research and lead gen. Easy to use for exploring specific companies in different regions. Has errors with financial data, but great tool overall.

- Data not always accurate, revenue is not reliable.

Inven.ai Supporting Lower-Middle Market M&A

Vorteile:

Very helpful tool for LMM M&A. Particularly enjoying the natural language search with keyword association, which I've fount to be more specific than other services. The customer support has been excellent so far.

Nachteile:

It's quite expensive, but worth the investment for us.

Great for Small Investment Banks

Vorteile:

It's easy to use and helps find niche companies that databases like PitchBook fail to find. Additionally, the intent to sell feature makes it simple to find prospective clients and the investor search makes it easy to find investors / buyers for clients.

Nachteile:

The product is still in development so not all features are fully rolled out and there are some minor bugs.

Efficient & Effective

Kommentare: Extremely positive, the tool has saved us time and money allowing us to do more with less.

Vorteile:

Straightforward, and works the way you expect a solution like this to work. Their similar company search is a fantastic tool, particularly in esoteric searches, that may not have the best presence on major data sources.

Nachteile:

Project management needs to be done outside the platform. They have pretty good collaboration tools, but not quite what we need.
