Amazing for bot protection and mitigation

Kommentare: It's been great for protecting WordPress websites with quality bot protection. We saw 8% of the visits come from bots and now they're zero. No more problems with resources hitting the maximum even on limited hosting.

Vorteile:

I really love how this integrates with different technologies so you can protect static and dynamic sites with a few clicks.

Nachteile:

You can fine tune it but it's a manual and time consuming process

Great software protector against bad bots & spam

Vorteile:

I bought this tool primarily to stop bad bots and 2nd reason to stop spam over contact forms on the websites we built. Cloudfilt does both tasks very successfully (although more on the stopping bad bots side), and my team and I are very pleased with it.

Nachteile:

Spams over contact forms sometimes goes through, so it could/should be improved.

Use it for a year - Nice to have product

Kommentare: It does the job, bot detection and mitigation are good capabilities and work as expected, the product needs constant tuning as any other bot/waf solution.

Vorteile:

Bot detection and mitigation techniques are always improving, it's easy to use and integrate

Nachteile:

Sometimes it can screw a website if it's not implemented correctly, customer support might be not the beast on free and pro tiers

A good way to protect the site from unwanted bots and hackers

Kommentare: It's been good, I've used in on WordPress and non-wp sites with good results. One of the thing I wish they had (but to be fair it's ALL WAF and similar systems) is a huge database of trusted IP's to automatically add to their services, like all the SaaS that provide services, because in more than one occasion I had to go and add ip's to avoid new services I add from being blocked.

Vorteile:

It's extremely easy to use; you just need to add the site to the platform, generate the code and paste it (or use their plugin for WordPress)

Nachteile:

I wish the blocking page had geolocation to display the correct language automatically, as well as allowing to "whitelabel" it with our own logo and messages.

A solution to get rid off unwanted traffic

Kommentare: I manage three WordPress websites and CloudFilt is a good complement to WordFence. I don’t have anymore spam comments or crappy bots going to them. The detection rate is very good. CloudFilt team is a serious one who keeps constantly their product up to date.

Vorteile:

When you have a website, you want to protect it against bots, spam and others threat that are on Internet. I like the simplicity of installation on my WordPress sites. My site is secured in minutes.

Nachteile:

Maybe, the possibility to whitelist some old (older than one month) bot detection, in case of false positive (rarely the case).

Best Bot Traffic Software

Kommentare: Excellent product and economical

Vorteile:

It protects our website from malicious bots and web scrapping that is very important for our online businessIt is very easy to install by any novice that requires no changes in the code changes, and easy integration with CMS

Nachteile:

At times the website slows down not sure it is because of this software of the hosting server . I dont see an integration available for shopify

Does what it promises

Vorteile:

Easy to setup and to use, friendly gui for all users

Nachteile:

The price, for me that I have a test lab without income it is too high for me

Keeps the bots out

Kommentare: Overall it does what it says on the tin, but sometimes a bit too aggressively. The verification process is also quite slow, further aggravating real users. However, if you have a bad bot problem as we do, I'd recommend CloudFilt.

Vorteile:

I like CloudFilt because it does a good job of keeping the bots out.

Nachteile:

We do get complaints from real users about getting stuck in the CloudFilt trap. Unfortunately, when I logged a ticket with CloudFilt about this they stopped responding after initial contact :(

Intelligent protection against bots and malicious users

Kommentare: We have successfully eliminated spam submissions on various sites that we run. Users have given very positive feedback after we implemented CloudFilt.

Vorteile:

We use CloudFilt to protect client sites against malicious and spam requests. This works incredibly well and is completely frictionless for legitimate users.

Nachteile:

There is nothing that I dislike about the solution.

Cloud Filt Stops All Bot Traffic - DEAD!

Vorteile:

Very easy to set up and maintain. Get notifications of spurious activities on your sites

Nachteile:

Blocks other legimate tools used for maintenace of site. Not easy to white list some of my tools/.

Works well

Vorteile:

Works well and was easy to set up. Got it from AppSumo and very happy I did. Set up quickly and efficiently with a WP plugin

Nachteile:

It sometimes is overly aggressive and blocks real people. When you try to get through as a real person, the human verification system often does not work. I've had to basically disable the plugin on some sites because it was blocking real people. People have let me know they had problems getting in even when whitelisted, but that could have been a caching problem. Still, it's a very good system for blocking bot traffic.

Monitor your attackers

Vorteile:

Easy to see where the server is being targeted. Shows which Joomla pages are being accessed.

Nachteile:

Not that I can think of except, sometimes it treats google bots as threats.

Stop spam contact+com on wordpress

Kommentare: I use it every day for two reasons: 1/ to block all the bad bots2/ to have ultra detailed statistics

Vorteile:

Ease of use and multiple plugins. We have it on our site and on our blog.

Nachteile:

Nothing, as soon as we have a complaint, the team responds quickly and provides answers.

Cloudfilt recommmended

Vorteile:

Effective and easy to implement. Can dedect and take action on bots.

Nachteile:

It works fine enough. İ can say nothing negativr

Yes it does clean up a lot of bot traffic as claimed.

Nachteile:

It also cleans up valid users and creates a headache for them.
