The tool design can be improved. Things should look nicer. The layout is the same since ever.

Kommentare: The product is great for creating and managing UML models, it has the necessary diagrams for the requirements gathering, analysis and validation phase of software development process. It also has database modeling with export options, which is a great feature.
Vorteile:
The product is easy to install, learn to use, manage. It has a very friendly user interface and is portable to different operating systems.
Nachteile:
I hope that in the future the product will have more options for exports to other programming languages, such as PHP and Python.

Vorteile:
Very useful for designing UML diagrams like sequence and state graphs
Nachteile:
Copy paste and message ordering in sequence diagrams is not so good handled

I like the way he manages to lay out the diagrams.
Nachteile:
The insertion of information in diagrams will be rigid, having to resort many times to the settings bar for insertion.
Flexible Yet Robust
Kommentare: This software has been valuable in helping me understand how coding accomplishes design. With Astah, as a student, I moved from writing hacky code that seldom met all requirements to having a structured approach with a strong modeling tool. Great for planning testing too!
Vorteile:
The ability to drag and drop between drawings saves time and insures consistency between models of a project.
Nachteile:
Somewhat of a learning curve for the arrows

Kommentare: ＵＭＬの各機能については、開発者じゃ無いこともあり、折角の機能を私が使いこなせていないと感じています。マインドマップは先代から使っていますが、相変わらず使いやすいです。
Vorteile:
レイアウトの整理・美化といった重要度の低いポイントを気にせずに、本来の思考表現に集中できる操作性の高さと割り切り。
Nachteile:
作画ツールという面では、ＵＭＬから外れたことを表現する際の表現力はあまり期待できない。これは私の利用目的・方法が邪道なだけですが。

Kommentare: ＵＭＬ図とマインドマップを活用することで設計と議論が同時に残しておける点が気に入っています。
Vorteile:
ソフトウェア設計を図として表現できることはもちろん、議論した内容などをマインドマップで残しておくことができる点。
Nachteile:
プロジェクトのマージはできるが、プロジェクトの比較ができない点。複数人でそれぞれに開発をすすめるような場合には、プロジェクトの比較ができるprofessionalの購入を検討することも考えられる。
